Where to even start with this woman!!! Leigh Ann was one of the best vendor choices we made for our wedding. My now husband and I aren't naturals in front of the camera, but we wanted our photographer to be able to capture our love and lead us to create some great memories and images from such a special time. From the engagement photos to the portraits to the wedding, Leigh Ann was incredible. Everyone brags that their photog got them sneak peeks within a few days of their wedding...Leigh Ann literally passed around an iPad at our dinner during the reception with some sneak peeks. There wasn't a dry eye to be found. She is professional, incredible capable and organized, thoughtful, extremely fast (seriously she spoiled us with her turnaround times) and we got pictures of everything we could've wanted and then some.
I can't say enough good things about Leigh Ann. She is incredibly talented but also just a dream to work with which is so important! 10/10, 5 stars, HIRE HER! -

I first heard of Leigh Ann from a friend who highly recommended her after she took her collage portraits. One look at her website and I was smitten! I loved the bright and airy photo style but what made her photos stand out from the rest was the quality of the pictures. Communication was so easy and she felt like a friend after the first conversation and answered all my questions quickly. In the end, we had a COVID wedding and she was so well organized and helpful that she made the day easy and stress free. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Leigh Ann! -

Leigh Ann is an amazing photographer. During our engagement shoot, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and we were blown away by the results. We can’t wait for her to photograph our wedding. In fact, we also did an additional booking with her to have her photograph our upcoming engagement party.
Almost as important during these trying times as her amazing results is Leigh Ann’s empathy and professionalism. She has walked with through the reschedule of our engagement pics, then engagement party, and now unfortunately our wedding to 2021. With how devastated we were to postpone, Leigh Ann’s empathy couldn’t have been more appreciated. I HIGHLY recommend her in general, but wanted to especially recommend her to any newly engaged couple feeling weary about putting a deposit down for a photographer during this time. You can trust Leigh Ann! -

Excellent wedding photographer
We are so happy we booked Leigh Ann for our wedding. Working with her was a great experience from start to finish. She took our engagement photos and beautifully captured the exact vibe we were going for. When our wedding plans changed due to all the coronavirus restrictions, she was understanding, flexible and accommodating. Changing our wedding plans was stressful, but working with Leigh Ann made it easier. We decided to keep our original wedding date and have a small elopement in Meridian Hill Park in DC, and despite our changed circumstances, Leigh Ann was there to capture our wedding and make sure we got all the perfect photos! Leigh Ann helped make our wedding day perfect. -

I have known Leigh Ann for many years. I had been watching her photography business grow from a far and I was always in awe of how gorgeous her photos were. They look so natural and simply classic. My now husband and I had been dating for a little while and I knew if he asked me to marry him, Leigh Ann would be my FIRST call! Then it happened. I said YES. I messaged Leigh Ann so fast! We had our engagement session with Leigh Ann to get used to the poses and spend some time with her. Throughout the whole process Leigh Ann was on top of everything. We originally had a larger wedding planned and Leigh Ann had everything together and prepared for our big day. Then as you know, life happens. With the Governor’s order we had a huge decision to make. Have a small intimate wedding or postpone our date. Leigh Ann was the first person I spoke with, I had to make sure she would be there for my big day. She said she would be there! We decided a small intimate wedding would be perfect for us. We made the switch! She sent a whole new day of plan and made sure there was nothing I needed help with. She was always checking on me and touching base to make sure everyone was on the same page.
On our wedding day, Leigh Ann’s presence helped with my nerves! She kept us on schedule and made sure that even with our plans changing that we still got all of the gorgeous pictures! She was so fast and precise with her photos. After our wedding, I received highlight photos within a few hours!! I was shocked and beyond excited. Everyone’s jaws dropped at our photos. Leigh Ann truly cares and loves her brides! If you want to feel like a princess and love every single moment and photo you need Leigh Ann! Every time I look through our photos it's like that day is happening all over again. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her work on our engagement and wedding photos!

Of all the vendors, we spent the most time searching for a venue, and then second most time spent was for a photographer. We found Leigh Ann here on WeddingWire.
Hands down stunning photos with the most perfect lighting. Our February wedding looks like it happened in the summer!! We were beyond amazed at the final product.
Quick turn-around, responsive, and gave us a lot of feedback on our day-of schedule - she's organized and detailed! To top it all off, Leigh Ann is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We felt so comfortable with her, and its critical you feel that way with someone who will take all your photos to include nervously getting ready and crying during your first look. -

Leigh Ann is absolutely amazing. Before the engagement photo shoot I was extremely nervous. But I can honestly say that I have never met a photographer that was so easy to work with and so creative. Leigh Ann immediately put us at east and the result was some of the most gorgeous photos I have ever seen. On our wedding day she beautifully captured the magic of each moment from the first look all the way to the end of the night. Her innovation and passion shines through in everything she does. Her use of the landscape to create surreal and gorgeous images is absolutely stunning. I would recommend Leigh Ann to anyone looking for a photographer for any sort of event. You will not find a more passionate or creative photographer and I guarantee you that you will be blown away by the stunning images she creates for you and the memories she captures your special day. -

Best Wedding Decision I Made Besides the Groom
Hiring Leigh Ann to capture our day was one of the single best decisions we made while planning our wedding. From the date we booked her, she has been nothing but the kindest, most responsive, and professional vendor I worked with throughout the whole process. She truly knows how to make her clients feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, which results in authentic, joyful, and gorgeous photographs that you will cherish for the rest of your life. On our wedding day it was 100 degrees out (plus Virginia humidity!), and although my husband and I thought we might be having a heat stroke, the pictures turned out nothing short of spectacular. Leigh Ann even had ice cold water bottles ready for us after our ceremony- she thought of everything.
If nothing else is a testament as to why Leigh Ann is worth every penny you will invest in her services, just know that when my husband and I received our full gallery (with an extremely quick turn around!), we sat down to pick out our favorites and after spending a few nights parsing down, we were still left with over 400 (!!) favorited pictures. The investment for a photographer to capture one of the biggest days of your life is an important one, which is why you should hire Leigh Ann right now. I am so grateful that I found and hired Leigh Ann, because now we are able treasure these pictures and memories for the rest of our lives. -

Amazing wedding photos!
Leigh Ann was an absolutely amazing photographer! She was very communicative throughout the entire process, even answering planning questions that were not necessarily in her job description. She was so helpful throughout the process IN ADDITION to her amazing photos. I never stopped getting compliments throughout my entire wedding after guests were able to see some sneak peeks. My engagement session was very extensive and perfect as well. I would highly recommend Secret Leigh Photography for your wedding or any special event in your life. 10 out of 10! -

Leigh Ann did such a wonderful job capturing every part of our wedding! She made my husband and I feel such as ease throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond from the very beginning to the very end! We loved being able to see some pictures on an iPad during the reception and that she handed out cards that showed the guests 342where the photos could be found once they were uploaded. The pictures turned out beautiful! We highly recommend Leigh Ann to anyone! -

We love Leigh Ann. We were referred to her from a family friend and we are so glad we made that connection. I used to be a catering manager at a golf club and have seen hundreds of weddings come and go and with that, of course, wedding photographers and I can honestly say her photos are the most delicate and beautiful photos I've ever seen. Leigh Ann has been so patient and easy going but still very professional where it matters. While wedding planning she sent us (me) this beautiful gift box with goodies to help me relax during the wedding planning process and with a customized unique magazine that gives suggestions, recommendations and a check list of how the day should go. On the day of our wedding, Leigh Ann showed up and got right to work taking detail shots while the bridesmaids continued to get ready and her second shooter went to take pictures of the groomsmen over at Dirt Farm Brewing. She really helped me out with coordinating travel for the first look photo of the groom, and then retrieving the groomsmen. This instantly helped solve a problem I was trying to lock down for days. A definite highlight during our wedding night was that she already had a photos for us to view during dinner which was AMAZING! She had little business cards with our engagement photo on there and a link set at each table for our guests to be able to check in on photos as they were being uploaded... I thought that was such a cute touch. Ontop of it all, we arrived back from our honeymoon with a gift from Leigh Ann at our door... one of my favorite pictures she took at our wedding. Needless to say, I couldn't be any more obsessed with her as a person but her professionalism and BEAUTIFUL photos speak for themselves. Wedding photos are meant to be forever displayed all around your house for the rest of your lives and I'm so happy to show off these photos. -

The value was amazing- she included an engagement session and took a huge amount of photos at the wedding. Once the wedding was over, the photos came back super fast and looked amazing! Also, Leigh Ann was very flexible and had great communication throughout the whole process. She was always 100% positive and it brought up my spirits on the stressful day of our wedding. I would highly recommend her services.

From the start, she was amazingly professional, whether it be through her contract to pre-wedding questionnaire ensuring every tiny detail was covered. Leigh Ann touched base with me throughout the entire planning process and even sent a two-month countdown goody box, which made us feel so incredibly special. Leading up to the wedding, Leigh Ann worked with us to make sure that every possible moment I wanted captured was planned for - we had almost a shot-by-shot timeline for the day-of. When it came to the big day, Leigh Ann put myself and my bridal party at ease and took AMAZING photographs. My bridal party commented on how efficient she was - we got EVERY shot covered while still allowing for everybody to enjoy the cocktail hour! Better yet, before dinner was done, Leigh Ann had compiled a preview of a few of her favorite photos to share around on an iPad - the guests LOVED this. She even had cards to hand out that showed the guests where the photos could be found once they were uploaded. And, get this - all of my photos were done and uploaded before I even returned from my honeymoon, and I returned home to a canvas wedding print as a wedding gift from her.
If you're not convinced from this glowing review, just look at her photos. They speak for themselves. I couldn't more highly recommend her for all of your engagement and wedding photography needs. Thanks for being the absolute greatest, Leigh Ann! -
