Experts at getting the perfect wedding dress

In preparing to purchase a wedding gown for my daughter’s wedding, I booked appointments at several stores located in Coral Gables that seemed to have beautiful dresses on their websites. At the first place we went, the dresses were fine, but my daughter just did not connect with any specific dress. The second place cancelled our appointment at the last minute due to a computer glitch. I was disappointed, but luckily, there was a third place, Leggenda. We worked with Olga. My daughter had certain ideas about how the dress should look, and Olga listened carefully and brought out some suggestions. One in particular really captured the essence of what my daughter was saying, and in addition, was extraordinarily flattering when she tried it on. When we saw it on, we knew that this was the right dress. We also worked with Olga to style the dress with a veil. We were not quite sure how we felt about veils, tiaras, and other hair ornaments, but Olga showed us various options and helped us through this decision. Once the dress in the correct size was delivered to the store, we worked with Olga and the seamstress to get everything right. It took several visits, but when it was done, it was like a dream. Because it fit so perfectly and it was so beautiful, it seemed like a couture dress. The seamstress created some internal structure and added boning to help the dress lay properly. Aside from that, she added a button to help us bustle the dress, which we found easy to use. I was very happy with our experience shopping at Leggenda and recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

I found my dress at Leggenda and this was my first time trying on dresses. Olga was amazing! And we even found my mom's dress here as well! Definitely recommend !

I said Yes to the Dress!

Olga, my bridal consultant, made me feel like family. She listened to everything I wanted and presented beautiful dresses that checked all the boxes. My experience was wonderful. If you need a dress, come see Olga she will take care of you. I am a very happy bride! Thank you Olga!

All I have to say is that I walked in... the ambience was immediately welcoming and soothing, there were tons of stunning dress options... and I chose the second dress I tried on! STRESS FREE

Dream Dress, Wonderful Shop

I found my dream wedding dress at Leggenda Bridal with the help of the lovely Olga! Not only that, but she also helped me find a beautiful veil to match, and picked a stunning mother-of-the-bride gown for my mom! Olga is incredible at what she does, a real professional, and always made me feel comfortable and at ease! We had a truly wonderful experience working with the entire Leggenda team, including Consuelo, Natalia, and Lulu! Thank you so much ladies! Olga! She is the best

Olga found my wedding gown in under 5 minutes! I'd been to several stores and tried on over 30 dresses, we knew what we were looking for, told her the shape and the look and she had already narrowed the store to TWO dresses. From there she expertly picked my accessories. I came back to pick up my dress and she found a dress for my MOM. Seriously, she is wonderful and i now have to find more reasons to buy fancy dresses so i can shop in this store.

Best Choice for Your Wedding Dress

I went to many bridal shops on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables and I just had to go with Leggenda Bridal! My experience was a pleasant one mostly because Natalia was extremely helpful and assisted me throughout the process of picking out a dress, determining what adjustments I wanted to make and for the fitting. I really appreciated the quality of the dresses they have available, especially for the reasonable prices they offer. They also have a variety of bridesmaid dresses and dresses for the mother of the bride/groom- very beautiful! I realize that this shop may not fit everyone's criteria but I highly recommend making a stop at this bridal shop while hunting for your perfect wedding dress- you may just find it here!

I loved Leggenda Bridal. I bought my wedding dress there last week. I was received by Olga which was very patient and she know exactly what you want and finds you the perfect dress. The store has a huge selection of dresses and everybody is very friendly. I has a great experience buying my wedding dress there. Olga made me feel as special as a bride should feel!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Leggenda Bridal! Olga was extremely helpful, sweet, and patient with me. On my first visit to the store I found a dress I loved, but I was not yet ready to say yes to the dress. Olga did not pressure me to make a decision and after trying on several other options at other locations, I realized I had already found my wedding dress. When I returned to Leggenda, Olga not only remembered me but also allowed me to try on several more of their wedding dresses, just to completely solidify my decision. While there are many other bridal salons in the area, none compared to Leggenda. I visited several locations and none provided the service I found at Leggenda, nor did they have the same selection of beautiful and quality wedding dresses. I would highly recommend Leggenda to any bride looking for their dream dress!

I was very pleased with the customer service at Leggenda Bridal. Angie, Yanitza & Conzuela were all amazing! They always got back to me quickly, were very helpful, and worked with me in ensuring my wedding dress was perfect on my big day! I would definitely recommend this place to all brides and anyone else looking for dresses. They helped take away some of the stress and were great! My wedding dress was beautiful!

In this boutique I found the best white dress I have ever seen for mi 15th birthday debut, and I went to at least 15 stores, just saying.
They have good service and they are very happy to help you find the best dress you want.
Angie is the best, she helped me, she was very patient y gave me the best dress and plenty advice, if you go, I recommend you ask for her

Leggenda had the best dresses by far for fair prices out of any of the boutiques that I visited, which is pretty much every single bridal shop on Miracle Mile. Their staff was patient, not pushy, and very helpful. Rosy helped me in and out of a number of dresses until I found "the one." I had been underwhelmed everywhere during my search until I found Leggenda. I'm thin and taller than average, so thankfully every dress that I tried on looked beautiful. The dresses at Leggenda looked more than beautiful. They made me feel like a bride. They gave me a special gift (a pair of earrings), that was totally unexpected, once I chose and put down a deposit on my dress. They have a beautiful selection of bridal accessories. I got my veil and sash there too. They offered me a discount on both! I only needed one alteration, since they took my measurements and ordered the correct size. I took my dress home after my second fitting. My dress was perfect!!! Thanks Rosy, and everyone at Leggenda!!!

I said YES to my dream dress. Thanks to Angie's patience and great attitude, she made the process stress free and actually a lot of fun! Searching for the perfect dress, can be a little intimidating. Angie and her team welcomed us into the store with open arms like if we were walking into their own closet to try on clothes. She treated our visits like if we have known each other for years when we had in fact just met. I can't wait to go back in 6 months for my first fitting. Thank you again, Angie, for making the process just a little more exciting and memorable. You're awesome!

I have to say I feel my wedding dress is the most gorgeous wedding dress I have ever seen. I have gotten so many compliments on my wedding day on Nov. 30, 2013! This bridal boutique is amazing!!! Their dresses are GORGEOUS and the staff is so friendly and helpful! My dress was ready 2-3 months before they had estimated. They also have beauiful jewelry and accessories for the big day. Would definitely recommend! I loved my dress and got a ton of compliments on it.

After a month and half of searching for the perfect dress that I would feel beautiful in, I finally made it to Leggenda Bridal, for some reason one morning I decided to just stop by, and Rosy one of their associates, was there to find exactly what fit me best with my body, and locate the one and only dress that actually brought tears and joy to me... I didn't have to think twice on finally buying my perfect dress, that made everything else in my wedding come into place. Rosy was also able to later on help me find my veil, and also helped me and my husband find the perfect mother of the groom dress for his mom. Their staff is proffesional in every way, and their dresses are gorgeous!

I could not be happier with my choice of dress and Leggenda Bridal. I LOVED my dress and EVERYONE at my wedding thought it was beautiful! When I went to choose my wedding dress, I was still nursing my 4 month old, given the extra pounds still on, they ordered me a dress 2 sizes too large (dropped some weight between the timeframe of choosing dress and wedding). When I went to pick it up a month later (by the way the dress arrived very fast!!!) I literally swam in it but they assured me it would fit me like a glove in time for the wedding. Of course I was worried but they worked miracles, because my dress was PERFECT!! I have zero complaints and would recommend Leggenda to everyone and anyone! Your seamstress, variety of dresses, attention to detail, everything- everyone sweet and amazing! THANK YOU!! I will be sending pictures soon!

I bought my wedding gown at Leggenda Bridal, it was a sample sale and I got it at a good price. They also did the alterations. The dress fit me perfectly and was clean and ironed when I picked it up.

This is a wonderful bridal boutique with beautiful, high-quality dresses, for very reasonable prices. My dress was gorgeous and I didn't have to spend my life's savings on it :)

After almost a year with my wedding dress, I didn't feel as comfortable and amazing as I thought I would be in the "perfect dress." I had been rushed into making a decision to buy my dress and now was having second thoughts. On a whim, a little over a month out from my wedding, I stepped into Leggenda with my mother, just in case. Without an appointment they saw me quickly and within a few minutes I was trying on a few wedding dresses. I was so scared I would find a dress I loved more than the one I had already purchased and altered....I did. I was too scared to make another rushed decision and buy a SECOND wedding dress that I decided to step away and figure out my options. Everyone was so helpful and understanding, they discussed my options with me and explained I would need to make a decision somewhat soon to ensure I would get a dress in time and be altered in time. I didn't listen. A couple of weeks later, I went in, they remembered me and pulled the dress I had loved, but the designer did not have any in my size. Leggenda in turn, offered to sell me their sample. I did it. I bought a second wedding dress and felt like a weight had been lifted. They sold me their sample, cleaned it as if it were new, and altered it just perfectly. I was thrilled and they made me feel so special, the way I hadn't felt in over 5 fittings with my other dress. I wish I would have gone to Leggenda first, avoided heartache and extra costs, and had purchased my perfect dress from them originally.
I have to thank them for making my wedding day so special, helping me feel the way a bride should feel while buying a wedding dress and during her wedding. I am so grateful we stepped through their doors and that everyone in the store was so kind to me and to my mother. My dress will hold a special place in my heart and I am so happy with the way I looked, my groom felt the same!!

I had the BEST experience at Leggenda Bridal. The dresses were beautiful and I found the perfect one thanks to Angie! I told her what kind of dress I was looking for and the first dress she picked out for me was THE ONE! I am absolutely in love with it! I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for wedding dresses. Everyone was so nice and a pleasure to work with :) They are also very flexible with the payment schedule which is great. I cancelled all of my following appointments after coming to this store. I am so looking forward to my fitting and wearing it at my wedding!!

Great Personalized Customer Service & Gorgeous Gown Selection!

Leggenda was my favorite part of the wedding planning experience. They had great selection, a professional assistant who did a great job receiving my feedback of personal preference and helped me to find THE dress on my first trip there! They also provided excellent customer service every step of the way. It was a very personalized experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We went to Leggenda Bridal Boutique looking for a Mother of the Bride dress for my mother,we had shopped various stores on Miracle Mile and were used to being disappointed. We were so surprised and pleased when Olga was there to greet us and help us! She made the whole experience wonderful! She helped pull multiple dresses for my mother that would fit her body type, each one looked great! Olga has a great eye and in her helping hands we found the perfect mother of the bride dress that was flattering and made my mom look great! Could not have asked for better service and care. The staff was kind and Olga took her time with us and was patient and kind throughout the whole experience! Loved it, truly recommend it!

I came to Leggenda Bridal a bit nervous that I couldn't afford a dress on Miracle Mile. I was proven wrong! I told the manager that I tried on 9 dresses the day before and was interested in mermaid or trumpet style dresses. She pulled 3 dresses, all beautiful and the 3rd one was it! Just that simple, the process took 45 minutes max including the deposit. The workers here know your body type and how best to dress it...trust them. My fittings were also simple and fast. I ordered my dress in mid September, the dress came in in late November and my final fitting was in April for a June Wedding. No drama no fuss and I was thankful for it. I received tons of compliments on my dress. The only thing: you cannot find out the designer of you dress (the dresses do not have designer tags). At the time I was annoyed because I wanted to compare prices but now I'm happy because it makes it harder for another bride to get my dress lol.

My husband and I are renewing our vows (20th Anniversary) and we are having a formal party, I wanted to wear a wedding dress for this special day and decided to go to Leggenda. I bought the most beautiful lace dress that is perfect for the occasion. Quality is magnificent and price is affordable. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!

My daughter and I found Leggenda quite by accident. We had gone to high end department store and a couple of other bridal shops in the Gables, and the service was not great. While waiting for an appointment time at a major bridal store, we found Leggenda and were taken aback by the warm welcome and personal service given to us. We found an amazing dress, at an amazing price. All along I worried that the final dress might not be as beautiful as the one she tried on, but the final gown was exquisite and the quality and workmanship were perfect. It far exceeded my expectations. As good as the dress was, the service for the fitting, alterations and pick-up were unbelievable. This group of people treated us with white glove service. It is the only way to describe it. They were phenomenal. I am so happy we found Leggenda and highly recommend it. The only point I marked them down for is for flexibility because I wish they were open at night on other nights other than just Thursdays. If you are looking for a dress and live in Miami-Dade or Broward county, or if you are coming in from the abroad, this is the place to go to.

I found my dream dress at Leggenda with Angie to assist me. She and I both knew it was the perfect dress as soon as I put it on. She was extremely helpful throughout the process. I did not find a dress similar or identical to mine at any other bridal store on the mile. I tried it on without knowing the price and I could've and probably would've paid double what it costs. It was truly beautiful. Angie was also great at providing discounts to everyone in my party that purchased a dress from the store. My mother, mother-in-law and six bridesmaids ended up purchasing from her and all looked beautiful. I received many compliments on my dress and so did everyone else.

Leggenda was the second bridal boutique my daughter and I visited shopping for her wedding dress. We were attented to by one of their sales rep, by the name of Rosy. She was absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable professional and so very sweet. My daughter tried many dresses including the one she "said yes to". We decided to shop around more, but at the end we came back to Leggenda and to Rosie for her special dress. It was such a happy and wonderful experience that we will cherish forever. I totally recommend this vendor.

I Bought an Allure Bridal dress at Leggenda Bridals. they were very helpful and made me feel very comfortable when I was trying on dresses. when the dress actually came in, it didnt fit me. it was too small and wouldnt close. I panicked a bit but they were able to fix it very easily withing a week.
The dresses at Leggenda Bridal are so unique and loook like a million bucks for a very reasonable price. Everyone said something about my dress about how beautiful and sparkly it was. I Dont think people had seen anything like it but where impressed.
The accessories are a expensive though. i bought a cathedral length hand beaded veil and paid $450. other stores in miracle mile had more expensive veils but i still think 450 was a lot. however, it was beautiful!

Mon Cheri in satin ivory w/ sweetheart neckline, mermaid cut.
($90 f/ alterations on dress, which included hemming and bustle.)

I tried various other bridal shops but they were either out of my budget OR didn't have a mermaid cut dress that wasn't made of lace. When I went to Leggenda's I actually tried on an oyster colored dress, which ended up being the one I bought but in ivory. So I never saw the actual dress and color until 7 months later! When I saw it on the hanger I was initially horrified and felt that it was a cheap looking dress, but when I put it on and the lady turned off the lights to show the "glowing effect of the dress" then I was totally loving my dress! I ordered my dress in August '08 and received it in April '09. Also, three days before my wedding I took it in for ironing and it was returned within an hour.

Leggenda has gorgeous dresses at incredible prices. That's the most important factor and why I do recommend them

Their service is friendly and efficient, but they are not very flexible with schedule. They are open until 6pm every day and closed on Sunday, so basically I have to schedule all my appointments on Saturdays or lunch time to avoid taking time off - which is not THAT big of a deal.

I do wish they had been a little more responsive over email, but once you call or get in the store, they were very helpful and informative.

The location is great to try on dresses. It had wall to wall mirrors and stepping stools to get the whole effect. It was a little pricey but they do have a lot of different types of dresses for most budgets over 1000. I asked for a few alterations with a shawl i wanted and their seamstress couldn't make it so I wouldn't get alterations (other than hem ) there.

I found my wedding dress at this vendor They have an great selection of dresses within all budgets. They are however, a bit overcrowded at times which may make it difficult to find "the dress" among the chaos i sometimes encountered. Appointments for fittings were at times a bit difficult to get. However, the staff was very helpful at helping you achieve the look you have in mind. Special orders ( longer train, sizes, ect.), like mine, were not a problem. My dress arrived in time for pitures. The staff was also very helpful and promptly drycleaned my dress that got dirty during the pre-wedding photo session. Overall a recommended vendor

the boutique is beautiful, they were really nice to me....until they increased the price of my dress on me out of nowhere. I thought that to be unprofessional and it put a sour taste in my mouth. I had already tried on the dress and when I went to try it on for a second time a few weeks later, they told me that the price of the dress was 200 more!

I loved my dress, this small boutique has so many selections to choose from and they dedicate time for you and no one else. The only thing I have a complaint about is their flexibility, they are not very flexible when it comes to ordering the dresses and they take a long time to arrive. If you are a last minute shopper beware it will cost you major bucks to get the dress in time. Other than that they are excellent, i was very happy with their services.

Does not offer alterations

I emailed with an employee and made an appointment to get my dress altered here. I explained that I bought my dress out of state, but she said to come in anyway. When I arrived to my appointment, the owner came out and said since I didn't buy the dress there, that they wouldn't alter it. I told her that an employee from her store confirmed it was okay. She said that is not their policy. That's fine, so I asked where else she would recommend and she stated that "all bridal shops only alter their own dresses" and said there's not a single possible place in the area where I could get my dress altered. It was a waste of time and the owner was very unhelpful.

Very poor and unprofessional customer service provided by sales person, Olga . Not proficient, difficult to understand, unknowable, does not inform client of product details and trends. Store owner Yanitza is completely condescending & unwilling to take accountability for any mistakes her makes. Four girls tried on a 2 in the store, one tried on a six and they fit perfectly except one was a bit big- we ordered 6 dresses, four of which came in 4-5 inches too small around the bust. When I spoke with Yanitza she told me she cannot authorize a refund or exchange, I asked to speak with the person who could and she said you can send an email to the generic inbox for the store (which I'm sure goes to her) I said I would be pursuing this and she told me "i wouldn't if I were you, I don't know if you are religious but you don't want this type of negative energy around your wedding" that is a wildly inappropriate statement to say to someone. If I had enough space I would include all of the other offensive things she said to mes to her. Bottom Line, don't go to this store, they mark up their prices & you can find the same dresses much less expensive else wear and not deal with Yanitza

Avoid this place!

This review is way overdue. I had the worst experience here and wish I could give them zero stars, they ruin the experience for me of buying the perfect dress. Their business model is to sell to travelers so they never have to see them again for any complaints so if you are from here like me don’t go to this place, they don’t care about you finding the perfect dress they just want your money.

I wish I had seen the red flags from the moment I came to the store and the first question Olga asked me was “when is your flight?” I thought it was odd but I didn’t think much of it. I said I was local, I was not traveling. Then she proceeded to show me some dresses on sale. Of course she didn’t mention those were final sales.

She never asked me what I was looking for, what kind of dress I liked, which I didn’t know since this was the first store I went into looking for dresses. I just wanted to find the perfect dress and it didn’t have to be on sale either.

Olga was really pushy and was making me feel so uncomfortable. After trying five dresses, which were all between sizes 8-12 when I’m a size 4 at most, she had to place multiple pins and said the alterations were going to fix it. The alterations were not included but according to her they were not going to be that much.

She kept asking me which one was going to be the one. Her face was starting to look annoyed. I didn’t know I had a limit to try dresses and I felt pressured that I needed to choose on the spot. Unfortunately, I fell for her pressure and ended up buying a dress which I regretted soon after.

The dress was not cheap either, it cost around $1,800. I tried it again at home and it just felt wrong that I paid so much money for a dress triple my size. For that much money, I could have gotten a much more beautiful dress that fit me better and would not need so many alterations.

I took the dress to various locations near home to see how much the alterations were going to be and they all said the same thing: the dress was too big on me and it needed a LOT of work. The top almost had to be redone. The quotes I got were between $600-$1000.

I went back to Leggenda and explained the situation to the owner, another person that does not care about you finding your dream dress. She said that unfortunately the dress I bought had no returns because it was a final sale and she could not do anything about it, but that if I did the alterations there it would look perfect on me.

They couldn’t even offer to look for another dress closer to my size that I could be more comfortable with. Needless to say, I was not going to give them more money, not to mention the fact that I didn’t even trust them at all after what they did to me.

I ended up paying around $700 for the alterations and it still didn’t fit very well.

I also discovered later through Leggenda’s website that they do complimentary wine tasting for the bride and family while she chooses her dress. Of course Olga was not going to mention this to me. She saw the perfect opportunity to sell a dress when she saw me coming alone to the store with no one else that could persuade me into not buying the dress yet.

She took away the opportunity for me to bring my friends and family and enjoy this experience. If I had known, I would have waited.
Anyways, I hope you learn from my mistake and avoid this place.

Disingenuous and unethical.

If I could give it a zero I would! I never leave reviews, but given the tactics of this shop I feel compelled to warn others.

The owner and sales personnel have no regard for the client except to rush you out with a dress with their bullying sales tactics. They make up the prices as they go, provide vague answers, and then increase the price of sale.
For example, they originally quoted me for a fitting appointment for hem of $100 then when I called to call confirm fitting apt, they quoted me $150 for the hem and additional $150 for small stitch adjustment at the shoulder.

Most disappointing is that I suffered a bad fall in the dressing room that left a scar on my chin, sprained hand and breast contusion. During and after the incident I never received a call to ask how I was doing. Instead I was pressured into taking a dress. All they cared about is the sale.

I will go out of my way to encourage everyone to find another shop. There are too many shops to settle for this overpriced and over rated shop. Do not let the bling of the shop full you. The owner and sales people are dishonest.

Charging more than double for dresses

Please do your research on the dresses you want to purchase before completing your purchase here. I made a deposit on a dress from this shop and was pushed into it by the sales associate stating that they only carry 2 of each design. I purchased the dress at $975 pre tax a special occasions dress for my sisters wedding and after leaving the store decided to look it up by style online and to my surprise was able to find the same dress on many other retailers for $341. I tried reaching out to the store and was told that the price is due to the area they are located in and the service they provide but a retailer in the same area has the dress priced well below half the price that they are selling it. Please please go somewhere else and always look to see if the prices match or are similar. after several emails and calls with the manager who is actually the owner, we were able to get a refund but only because we did not accept the terms of her price match. The owner was trying to silence us and did not want to allow us to put reviews on google or other websites and when we refused she decided that a refund was the best option which is what we were asking for all along. I understand there is a price for service but it's not fair for them to price gouge this way and charge well above the MSRP given to them by the designers.
Edit:
Even though they have updated their website to include prices they are well above the average prices online and in many other boutiques that just like them are verified resellers by the designer. They like to cast fear of purchasing online or from any one else but the online retailers are certified and also deal directly with the designer wich in our case was terani. They offer the same thing all other bridal salons offer and alterations were going to be an additional 175 so not included in the super high prices that were being charged . We were made out to be the difficult customers and we’re even told that to our faces by the manager(owner) when we just wanted to not feel like we got taken advantage of and to pay the fair price for the dresses.
