We can't say enough good things about Leana! We planned our wedding from across the country and she was so organized and helpful every step of the way. We initially met with her virtually and were just in constant awe of her talent and professionalism! She helped plan our timeline, made great recommendations on how to make the day run smoothly, and was familiar with our venue and other vendors.
She shot our rehearsal dinner and captured such sweet intimate moments with our closest friends and family, and showed up right on time with her whole team on our wedding day ready to get the party started. My whole bridal party felt so comfortable with her, and everyone truly glowed in her photos.
She delivered our photos with 6-8 weeks during her busiest time of the year, and was constantly in touch and sending us stunning sneak peeks.
The results are more than we could have dreamt of. Our day was absolutely flawless and the photos capture so much love and joy. The hardest part is choosing which to print and frame for our home. If I could I would paper my walls with these photos, and the videos bring me to tears every time.
Our day was an absolute dream and Leana was a huge part of that! -

Leana was amazing all around, highly recommend!
There are endless amounts of good things I could say about Leana, first off if you’re thinking about hiring her, do it!! She was so amazing from the moment we hopped on zoom until now (3 weeks post wedding). She was so helpful offering vendor recs and timeline/planning support. We met in person and on calls several times throughout the planning process and really got to know her which helped so much in creating beautiful photos and candid moments.
Leana and I did a boudoir photo shoot which came out SO BEAUTIFUL and she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful the whole time. She even walked me through the process of making it into a book to give to
My husband on wedding day (a moment she captured beautifully in photo AND video) and gave me tips on how to design it myself so I could save a little $$ instead of her getting the book made (which she also offered.)
Fast forward to wedding week and rain suddenly appeared on the forecast 2 days pre wedding. As any bride would, I panicked and Leana talked me through it for two days straight, helped to adapt the plan, and gave suggestions. The rainy romantic photos turned out GORGEOUS. Leana offers a dual video/photography package and had an assistant videographer and photographer. She provided us with a sneak peak of both soo quickly. My husband and I were at a romantic dinner in Spain and could hardly look up from our phones since the photos were really that freaking good. They are beautiful, light, candid, and capture all the love that was there on our day.
If you’re considering hiring Leana, do it! You truly won’t regret it. Thank you Leana for capturing our day, we will cherish the photos and video forever. -

Warm, Fun & Captured Our Day Perfectly
Leana was warm & personable from day 1! We bonded over books & love stories, and she went on to do a wonderful job capturing ours, for both the engagement shoot and our laid-back, creative small town California wine country wedding. We have so many wonderful memories to look back at thanks to Leana! She was prepared for everything, a real pro, and our photos are perfect. We did not have a particularly fancy or expensive wedding - we prioritized photography in the budget, while DIYing a lot of other details, and I’m so glad we did! Couldn’t recommend her more highly. -

Saving Grace
I don’t think I have enough words in my vocabulary to explain to you how perfect and wonderful Leana is as a wedding photographer, but more importantly as a person.
When I say I did not have a good wedding day, that is the nicest way I can possibly put it. However, my wedding photos look like the whimsical, fairytale I had dreamed of. Leana managed to capture every beautiful moment all while regulating my coordinator who was determined to ruin my day and directing everyone seamlessly. She was seriously more like my planner and wedding photographer combined. She was also the only person who could make me feel better on (not kidding) be of the hardest days of my life. She was my wedding saving grace. My photos are perfect and I gained a treasured friend. I will now forever use Leana for any time I need some happiness captured. She will for sure be my lifelong photographer for all my future milestones. I.e., kids, birthdays, honeymoons - anything else I can possibly think of. I can’t sing her praises enough. She’s an angel 🫶🏼 -

Highly Recommend
Leana shot both our engagement photos and our wedding and I will just say we felt undeniably lucky to have found her. Not only were her photos lovely, but it's clear she really cares about the people she works with. She was so invested in everything along the way, from helping me pick out outfits for our engagement shoot to the timeline for the wedding. I could text her anytime and she was incredibly responsive. We interviewed several other photographers, but no one felt as warm, genuine or as enthusiastic as Leana so we went with her--- and our instincts were right. After our wedding, I told her that it felt like a friend was there taking our pictures, not just a vendor. If I could do one thing differently I would have planned ahead and booked more time for a bridal shoot or something else! I would highly recommend. -

I can say that I would hands down suggest anyone to have Leana take your pictures! She was absolutely amazing in all aspects. She helped accommodate in every way she possibly could for our wedding. Once we had chosen her she instantly was on the ball and made sure I understood everything within her contract and answered any questions I had quickly. She reached out to me about going over the wedding day plans! She spoke with me several times before the wedding to make sure everything would go smoothly! Day of she arrived early and was the sweetest person ever! She helped me manage the wedding day craziness of my family and made sure she got every picture I wanted beautifully. Her time management was perfect and made sure we took all pictures at the times needed. Not to mention every single picture she took was breathtaking! I was beyond pleased with Leana in every single aspect! -

Leana and I met on very unique circumstances!
I had booked a photographer for my engagement/wedding photos and 3 months before the big day...she found out she would be unable to take our photos due to having a medical procedure done. Scrambling to find another, I found Sasha with Somewhere studios who agreed to take on the task...only to find out she was unable to be there the day of as well, BUT she could connect me with Leana and I'm so glad she did!
Leana is INCREDIBLY sweet, professional, and attentive. She made sure to reach out to me before hand to ease any worries I might have had with the day approaching. She showed up early on the day of, made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride on earth with endless compliments and captured our day from beginning to end!
Although she did not do the final edits on my photos, she offered to give me backups in case I wanted extra!! At the end of the day I got 1000+ photos to go through and I seriously couldn't be any happier! And that's not saying enough; my entire bridal party LOVED her and continued to compliment and praise her to me even after our wedding!
I think for someone to take on not one, but several brides last minute is saying A LOT about who Leana is as a person and professional. I would 10/10 recommend her over and over again -

We had the most amazing experience working with Leana. She is the nicest, most talented, professional photographer out there! We did both an engagement photo shoot as well as the full day for our wedding and we’re so thrilled with our pictures. My husband and I are both a little camera shy and she helped us feel so comfortable and get us out of our shells. By the time it was our wedding day it felt like having a friend be there to support us through the craziness! And our pictures are just incredible. She listened to what style we liked, what we were looking for, and delivered it flawlessly! On top of our gorgeous pictures, she was very responsive and super supportive throughout the whole wedding process. For each session she sent sample pics to us as she was editing and kept us updated throughout the entire process. On top of that, her prices are incredibly reasonable for the level of service she provides! I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience. We truly cherish our photos- so seriously stop your search and book her! -

Rachel Sent on 05/14/2018From day one Leana was so wonderful to work with. She is very responsive to emails and I never felt left in the dark about anything. She is also the sweetest person. Now let's get to the photos. They are AMAZING!! I wish I could upload them all here because it is so hard to pick a select few to showcase how talented she is. I was blown away by how gorgeous the images are. Leana is also very non-invasive-I never even noticed her during the ceremony and she made everything quick and painless for family and bridal party photos so we could enjoy our reception and our guests. She also whisked us away on a golf cart to take sunset photos at some secret spots at our venue. We love you Leana! -

The quality of service she provided is more than I could have asked for, especially given the circumstances in which she was given to shoot!! She stepped in for us last minute as our wedding photographer....literally, the morning of. On a whim, she drove down the coast to save us! Nevertheless- she gave us 110% of her effort, heart, talent, and support. I wanted to review once id gotten the pictures back because I valued the reviews that can speak to both quality of the day of experience as well as photo quality. Let me just tell you.... THIS is the experience you want from your photographer. Image after image of happy memories and beautiful expressions of our love. She was able to capture the brightest moments from the day and the most true emotions of my heart. I am so forever grateful for these images and they will forever bring a smile to my face.
Leana played an invaluable role that day and I am so grateful for her. In the midst of the rush that was our wedding day, she helped me to stay present and be able to fully soak in the day, and i bet she doesnt even know how wonderful she was! I will definitely be using Leana for any photography needs in our future and would without question recommend her to any friend or bride looking for a great all around photographer. -

Megan Sent on 07/29/2016Leana is a dream to work with and I couldn't have chosen a better person to capture my wedding than her! Leana, who runs Looking Glass Wedding Photography, rocks! She is beyond kind and personable, always willing to help, and has the most creative eye for wedding photography. She was extremely easy and helpful to work with along my wedding planning journey. She met with me in person months before the wedding, was quick to answer emails, and was always willing to chat on the phone.
On the day of the wedding, Leana took my shot list to heart and added layers to my requested photos that I never would have dreamed of! She kept both my husband and I laughing and relaxed while we took photos. Taking photos with Leana never once felt pushy, posed, or a nuisance. She handled all of the shots, whether with 40 of my family members or just my husband and I, with professionalism and fun. She was great to work with! She also does a sunset photo shoot that turned out spectacularly. It allows you and your husband to have more time during your cocktail hour and allows the two of you to sneak away for a moment while your guests are dancing the night away. The sunset photo shoot was the most magical time for my husband and I and the photos that Leana captured at that moment truly showcases that magic.
About a week after the wedding, Leana posted her "sneak peaks" of the wedding day. Wow! They were absolute masterpieces! She captured my husband's and I's authentic love and joy from that day, along with showcasing our gorgeous venue. I cannot wait to see all of the wedding photos that Leana captured!
I would highly recommend Leana and Looking Glass Photography to capture your special day. She will do it with grace, kindness, professionalism, and ease. -

I wanted to give her full range of her artistic ability because that is what I am paying for. Anyone can take a picture but the way Leana uses light and her special touch makes incredible photographs. We challanged her and she kept up with all our ideas. When we looked at the finished pictures we were astounded ! She truly was able to capture the mood and exciment of our wedding an brought out the beauty in me and my husband that we never knew we had. Thankyou so much ! -

I was drawn to her booth because it was cute (she was giving away tiny succulents) and her photos were beautiful and full of life, not stiff like alot of wedding photographers. Her books are amazing and beautiful and her prices were very reasonable so I booked her on the spot! That was the best decision I ever made. I am an Art Director and have very colorful, eclectic taste and from day one Leana understood what I wanted and gave me that. We did an engagement shoot with her a few months before the wedding and I cant even explain the amazing feedback we got!! She captured our personalities and did exactly what we wanted! I loved her work so much I had her photograph our rehearsal dinner as well. Our wedding was this past weekend and she already got the images uploaded to me!!! She also does photobooths- ours was amazing and a favorite of the guests! I would highly recommend Leana! She did an amazing job on our wedding and I know she would on yours as well! -

Kimberly Sent on 03/25/2013We chose Leana to shoot our ceremony because we were looking for more of an artsy approach for our pictures in Cayucos at the Cass House. Her charismatic personality, knowledge, and sense of humor helped us enjoy capturing our best ceremony moments instead of rushing around to get mundane standard wedding photos. She was well organized, kept to our schedules and yet adapted the day's events to our needs and whimsical wishes, including hopping in the bathtub for a bridal shot. She allowed us to orchestrate our obligatory family photos and managed to make them painless and efficient. With her spontaneity and calculating photographic eye, she enhanced our pictures along the beach, under the pier, with the fountain, among the garden flowers, and in the swinging hammock with beautiful and creative backdrops. Her guidance with our wedding album and huge selection of wonderful pictures to choose from put the sparkling finishing touch to such a significant day in our lives. She made photographing the ceremony seem so effortless to both us brides we wonder why anyone would ever not choose to have this incredible artist photograph their wedding. We were incredibly lucky to find such a treasure at the Madonna Inn Bridal Expo among the other qualified but ordinary photographers.
