Beautiful photos and a lovely person to work with
I hired Leah for my wedding last month and couldn't be happier with my decision. I was very anxious about taking photos and how they would come out but they came out beautiful. I love the emotion and fun she caught in her photos. She also is sweet as can be and was easy to work with. I would highly recommend!Leah Powell Photography's reply:

Both you and Steven were amazing to work with, I enjoyed every minute with you guys, Witnessing the day, I felt so much love and happiness between the two of as well as with all of your friends and family, this is where the heart of the images come from! Yes you need a photographer that knows light, composition and a complete understanding of the emotions that happen during a wedding but your joy is what ties it all together!

It is difficult to put to words how extremely grateful we are for Leah and all her hard work and investment in us as a couple. We got everything and more than we could ever ask for. I did not make a day of plan—my mistake, but Leah was able to step in far better than anyone should ever pay a day of coordinator for. Leah immediately scoped out the location, helped devise a plan with our videographer on who to shoot, where, and when. She was with us for a full 12 hours and respectfully let me know when she was taking her ONLY break—to eat! She knew everything we wanted and incredibly delivered so much more. They say the photos are the most important part of the wedding and they couldn’t be righter. Hiring Leah as our photographer was hands down one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. She was very inclusive, knew everyone, worked quickly to get every shot perfect, and fixed my hair when it was awry. We are so lucky we landed Leah for our photography! We had her do a beach shoot prior to our wedding and when we met the chemistry was perfect! Her balance of professionalism and fun in unmatched. She is so down to earth and perfect for guys who might be a little uncomfortable doing a photo shoot. She was everywhere the day of our wedding and didn't miss a moment. We got all the photos we requested and more. We are so appreciative for everything Leah, thank you! -

Kelly Sent on 12/06/2017Leah Powell Photography was absolutely wonderful! Leah and her partner Will photographed our wedding in Amelia Island, FL. We are from South Carolina, so she made sure that she regularly stayed in touch leading up to the wedding and by the time the big day came we knew exactly what to expect. Leah and Will were so professional and courteous and made everyone feel at ease during the group shots. Our wedding and reception was outside in late October, which meant that she had lighting limitations - but looking at the pictures you would never know. She used the afternoon light, sunset, and the reception lighting beautifully.
The images are breathtaking - she captured so many special moments and feelings throughout the day. Looking through the pictures, we're able to relive the day... the panic, the happiness, the hilarity, and all of the love. Her attention to detail and creativity shine through the pictures.

While they were everywhere getting every possible photo of our daughter's wedding day we hardly noticed that they were around. The photos are spectacular! We highly recommend them!

She travelled all the way up from Florida for the weekend to shoot our rehearsal dinner and our wedding, and the photos are absolutely incredible. Working with her was a pleasure.
