Laura is INCREDIBLE. She worked so hard and captured all the love, joy and details of our wedding so perfectly. We felt so comfortable around Laura, and appreciated how she directed us to pose in photos, and was open to ideas on specific shots I wanted to capture too. She is kind, funny, chill, and beyond talented at her job. We love our wedding photos so much, and are so grateful we went with Laura!! 100% recommend Laura as your photographer! -

Laura is an absolute dream to work with. Not only are her photos beautiful, but she did everything she could to help make my wedding day run as smoothly as possible and always went the extra mile to help where she could (she even helped me put on my heels - my savior!). We did engagement photos with her as well which she was fantastic at lightening the mood and getting us to be less awkward to capture some beautiful, genuine photos.
Laura is quick to respond and always has the best suggestions for couples picture spots or anything else you may need. I will only be working with her for any photography I need in the future. She is the best! -

You will LOVE your photos with Laura!
Laura is FANTASTIC. She shot our engagement and wedding photos and we have so many favorites, it is so hard to decide which ones to print! She is very easy to work with, she is responsive, listened to our ideas, provided direction on body position and helped our visions for both of these photo shoots come alive. She loves to be creative and adventurous. She captures colors beautifully and picked the perfect photos to be black and white. She also did a great job working with our dogs for our engagement photos. Laura did some double exposure photos for our wedding which turned out better than I could have imagined, she’s willing to try anything! I would highly recommend Laura to anyone for beautiful photos, she is the best!! -

When I started looking for a wedding photographer, I was worried about finding someone within my budget who had amazing pictures. I scrolled through Laura's gallery and was immediately impressed. After our first phone call, I knew she was the one I wanted to work with. She customized a package to meet our needs and our budget. Little did she realize that we would be the couple to drag her out of bed well before sunrise for our first look before our 8 am wedding. The images she got of us as the sun was coming up are simply amazing and some of my absolute favorites from that day. Overall, I felt like we were in good hands with her, that all the small moments would be captured, and that we had one less thing to stress about. It was a pleasure working with her (and Kendra, her second photographer for the early morning photos). -

After we were beyond impressed with our engagement photos, without hesitation, we decided to hire Laura for our wedding photos and once again she did not disappoint! Laura goes above and beyond, my husband and I feel rather awkward being photographed and she makes us feel and look like professionals. I am a rather picky and self conscious bride and Laura did nothing but work with me and ease my concerns. There was even a mishap with the fitting of my dress, she constantly assured me it would not reflect in the photos and that's exactly what she did, it looked amazing! Everyone we share our photos with are blown away! If you're in need of an amazing photographer, look no further :) -

I am so glad that I chose Laura as my wedding photographer. We wanted pictures that felt natural, and she did an incredible job helping us feel comfortable even during the posed pictures. She was so responsive and flexible during the event, and we captured some amazing moments. The pictures turned out better than I could have hoped - the colors were true to life, no "filters" like I have seen with other wedding photographs. They are truly something we will treasure for years to come! -

Laura was wonderful and captured us perfectly on our wedding day. She was a fun person to have as part of our big day on top of executing some unbelievably creative shots while still being affordable. Not to mention she turned around our photos in less than 2 weeks. Would HIGHLY recommend!!! -

Best Decision of our Wedding Planning
Many parts of our wedding planning were difficult but the choosing and working with Laura was the easiest and best decision we made. Among the pandemic we had to reschedule our June 2020 wedding and Laura was always responsive and patient. The day of the wedding Laura managed her time well and was able to organize our group - including 11 young children, toddlers, and babies. She was flexible in helping us attain the photos we wanted to remember our day and the start of our marriage. She had a great attitude and quickly we felt comfortable around her. We couldn't give higher praises on working with Laura - it truly was the best decision. -

Wedding Photographer
Laura is a fantastic person to work with for engagement photos and wedding photos. She worked with us as our plans changed due to COVID and even drove the 2.5 hours to our mini wedding venue when we rescheduled. She helped my husband and I feel comfortable being photographed and get through our shyness! We cannot wait to use her again for our non-COVID wedding "redo"! Plus, she got us our photos so fast and they are the most BEAUTIFUL way to relive our day over and over! -

Laura and her team were amazing, they were able to help keep the day flowing smoothly. They also helped us to keep things light when it seemed like things were getting a little tense due to timing. Laura is so easy going, honest , and flexible, with a great sense of humor. We really wanted a photographer that would help my husband and feel natural in front of the camera because we hate pictures! Laura met us for a beer before we chose her, and did everything she could to help us relax for our engagement pictures.
Additionally, Laura took pictures of our puppy and new home, and helped us create a love story video for our reception. It was the first time she’d ever done it and it turned out great.
And on top of that, we’ve gotten to see a few of our wedding pictures, and so far have turned out great. She fit in super well with our family and friends at the wedding. Laura went above and beyond and we are so appreciative of her! -

With a November mountain wedding, snow will undoubtedly make an appearance. A few days before our wedding a huge storm hit our venue. Laura knew we loved outdoor photos... even if there was the snow and hurricane force wind. She came with boots and was ready to go! We took our family photos indoors and went on our adventure. I can not be happier with how the photos turned out. This is just one small example of how great Laura was to work with. You will not be disappointed! -

We were thrilled
First of all, the price of LD Photography is unbeatable. It's an incredible value to get Laura and a teammate for basically the whole day. She was easy to communicate with despite our living in a different state and having to plan to afar, and accommodated all of our requests. On the day of the wedding, Laura made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera and coordinated our first look. Our plan for a location fell through and Laura managed to come up with a perfect alternative. I felt like I was in great hands the entire day. We couldn't have been happier with how our photos ultimately turned out. From getting ready, to the first look, to the ceremony, and into our sunset session and group photos, she captured everything and more. We would absolutely recommend Laura to any Colorado brides. -

My husband and I spoke and met with many photographers but couldn't seem to find the right one......until we met Laura! Laura and her assistant Kendra created the most emotional, colorful, intimate, candid moments and it was EXACTLY what we wanted!
The pictures are a BEAUTIFUL story that others can relive and it warms my heart when they recognize the talent of these ladies! I'm tearing up writing this review because they are just PERFECT! I truly can relive our wedding day over and over again with these MAGNIFICENT photos! And what a joy to work with, they are so detailed, communicative, funny, and always smiling! I'm so glad they both were apart of our big day! Even after the wedding Laura has been GREAT! She sent a couple of preview pictures because I was getting antsy and she was happy to do so. From our first meeting over coffee to the delivery of the wedding photos, my experience with LD Photography was amazing. Laura is incredibly easy to work with. She's flexible, accessible, calm and friendly, but also knows exactly what it takes to get the best photos. My fiancé and I were so happy with our engagement photos- and then we got our wedding photos and we were blown away! Laura excels at using the natural light, helping all of us with posing, and most importantly- capturing the special moments. We’ve had so many friends and family reach out to compliment our photos, and our photographer. We will treasure our pictures forever and cannot say enough wonderful things about LD Photography. -

Laura was completely awesome from the very first email communication. She was always super responsive and enthusiastic. When the day of our wedding event came around, we got less than stellar weather with lots and lots of rain. No bright sun, no squinty eyes or shadows to deal with which was optimal even though some of us, the boys, we’re soaking wet! Laura kept us all
motivated and excited and found amazing ways to take creative and awesome pictures! And when the sun came out… She made the absolute most of it! It truly turned out to be so incredibly memorable... and I have countless beautiful photos to remind me every day! -

Great photos capturing our most memorable day!
Laura is terrific. When my fiancé and I first started looking at photographers for our wedding, I stumbled upon her website when looking for "affordable photographers in Denver", and low and behold but as I was clicking through her gallery I saw some familiar faces! A childhood friend of mine had used Laura for their wedding as well. They had nothing but good things to say about Laura, so we set up a meeting and she was so relaxed, down to earth, kind, and easy to chat with. And her price was very right for our wedding budget, so we went ahead and booked. We did an engagement shoot with her as well to get a feel for her photographing style, and she was really flexible to what we wanted, which was very non-traditional. I wish that we had broken the ice a little more with the engagement shoot, maybe had a couple beers first to relax, haha! But regardless she was really flexible and responsive and got some great photos for us and sent us her edited prettied up versions within just a week or two. Then on top of that, she agreed to do a shoot with me and my bridesmaids for the Maxfund as a way to promote donations in lieu of traditional wedding gifts and the pictures turned out beautifully! It was better than I could have hoped for. Her pricing is great, her skills behind the camera are great, she is simply great. Day-of for our wedding we did have a hiccup with late arrival due to her car having troubles, which did result in us missing some portrait shots with the wedding party that I would have liked and wished we could have gotten, but what photos she did get of our wedding really captured a very memorable day and were delightful. Thanks Laura! -

When we received our finished photos, we were extremely pleased with the quality of her work and her attention to detail. We feel that Laura was able to capture our special day and deliver a product that will last a lifetime. Not only are all of our photos exceptional, we also received many more photos than we ever expected, which was a great surprise:)
Although we could say much more about the photos themselves, we were even more impressed with Laura. She is communicative, focused, and authentic. It was clear to us that she has an adventurous and kind soul and on our wedding day, she had a calming yet inspiring presence.
Laura was also flexible with our specific requests for a second shooter for a portion of the day. She was helpful and honest with us during the process of determining the number of hours to hire a second person. She chose another talented photographer to join her, Aleisha. They worked well as a team to get the best shots possible.
We are grateful to have worked with her and we HIGHLY recommend working with LD Photography if you have the opportunity. One of our best decisions was having her take our engagement photos in addition to the wedding day. It was an excellent way to get to know her before the big day and see a preview of the excellent images we could expect.
