Professional makeup @ reasonable prices

Laura is extremely talented, personal and affordable. I was worried i wouldn't be able to find someone to do my makeup well for my wedding in Michigan, i would go back to Laura anytime!

Amazing service!

The girls were amazing. Very accommodating to any changes, the quality of work was top notch, and it was a great atmosphere to start the day in. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night.

Absolutely amazing!

Laura did makeup for my wedding for me and 5 of my bridesmaids in August. She was timely and kept us moving through the hair and makeup assembly line. I felt so beautiful, and not overdone that day. My makeup stayed on all day/night even with the high 80s humidity. She answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. So thankful for LC Make-up Artistry

I am so thankful that I had LC Make-up Artistry there for my big day! I had Janel for myself and my bridal parties hair and she did such an amazing job. My hair was one of the things I was most worried about and all I had to do was show her one picture and she made it look better than the inspo picture. Laura was who I emailed back and forth with about everything and she had great response times and was very helpful. I highly recommend LC Make-up Artistry!

Really Excellent Work!

Laura did my wedding makeup and she did such an awesome job. She is very easy to talk to and worked very efficiently. This was the first time I have had airbrush makeup before and it looked absolutely beautiful and stayed on the whole night. Definitely recommend her!

Boudoir Shoot - Hair & Makeup

Laura has an amazing talent. She did my hair and makeup for a boudoir photo shoot and I felt absolutely beautiful going into that shoot because of her. She was great to talk to and made me feel completely comfortable allowing her to decide how my hair and makeup should look. She has a great energy and I would highly recommend her.

Wonderful Experience!

Laura did my makeup and some of my bridal party on 8/3/19 on location at the doubletree in bay city. All of our makeup looked great and stayed all night! She is a pleasure to work with, super nice!

Bridal Hair

Through LC MakeUp artistry, we had hired Janel and Shelli to come on-site the morning of my wedding as our hair stylists. First off, these 2 ladies are SO SWEET and were a ton of fun. They have great personalities and everyone felt super comfortable. But more importantly they were very professional, and did an amazing job for everyone. All of my gals have very different hair types, and they did everyone's hair with ease and they all looked gorgeous. They arrived right on time, and were able to get everyone's hair done in the time we were going for. They got stuff done while not being rushed and the atmosphere was calming, which is definitely important the morning of a wedding! LC was extremely accommodating each time I contacted her with any time changes. Everyone was fabulous to work with, quick responses via email, very professional, and I was very pleased with the entire experience for myself and the girls! Always amazed by the quality

I have been a client of Laura’s for about 2 years now. She is amazing! Her attention to detail gives you exactly what you want. Honestly, I wish I would have found her years ago. She offers a variety of services. Myself and my daughters use her for all of our events. She seriously can make you look and feel like a super model! She’s very professional, great personality and makes you feel comfortable. There is a reason she gets booked 2 years in advance.

LC Make-up Artistry did my hair and make-up and the mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and the maid of honor and they did great! Laura did our make-up and she made sure everything was perfect and took her time. She also was great about showing up early and on time! Janelle did our hair and she also was fantastic. Our hair and make-up stayed all day even with it being 85 and humid! I highly recommend LC make-up Artistry. They made my day flawless along with doing a beautiful job. I also received so many compliments at my reception about the hair. They truly are the best!

Laura is the absolute best! Along with being an amazing make-up artist, she's such a kind hearted, understanding, soft spoken person. All of these qualities make her worth every single penny. She did all 8 of us total and everybody absolutely loved her. Our makeup stayed in place all night through crying at the ceremony, sweating on an ungodly hot day during pictures, and dancing the night away. She's the only makeup artist I will continuously go to for any event.

It was such a pleasure working with Laura as my makeup artist for my wedding day. We did a trial run first and Laura was so helpful to make sure I looked the way I wanted to for my wedding. On the day of my wedding she drove to the hotel that the girls and I were getting ready at and single handed did the make up of nine women before 1:15 pm. Laura was absolutely amazing and the girls looked so beautiful. I cannot thank her enough for helping to make my wedding day PERFECT!!!

I can not say enough good things about Laura! I am a DJ, I work very long hours and sometimes in very hot conditions! I have my make-up and hair done very early in the day. They will both last all day and well into the late hours that I work. The make-up is beautifully done in every style she does, whether it is a natural or dramatic effect. Looks great in pictures and very clean up close. This is the only company I use for work and personal events or photo shoots! I always recommend L.C.!

I've admired Laura's work for quite some time, so when it came time to book a MUA for my photography clients I new exactly who to call. I feel like I can call on Laura for any type of client I have. Whether it be weddings, seniors or boudoir I know she can rock it all! I come to her with absolutely no vision and she seems to be able to pick apart my rambled ideas and put together a look that kills. Her work is absolutely flawless. After living in Florida for a few years, I had the pleasure of having my makeup done by some pretty amazing make up artists. Needless to say when I moved back to Michigan and began planning my wedding, I was not willing to hire just any makeup artist. I was looking for the best of the best. I searched high and low for someone with the style I was looking for. I came across Laura's page and loved what I saw! Even though she was on the opposite side of the state, I had to book her! Laura listened to everything I had to say and accommodated myself and my bridesmaids in every way possible. She and her amazing assistant Tori drove all the way to Grand Rapids to make us gals look and feel beautiful. Laura knows what she is doing and knows how to make each and every skin type look beautiful. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about my wedding makeup, Laura is worth every penny:). All of my bridesmaids as well as mother and mother in law were so happy with the results. I wish I could afford to have Laura do my makeup everyday! I booked Laura for my wedding to do me, my mom, and all of my bridesmaids. She traveled to the site which made it way more convenient to get ready for the wedding. She was professional, friendly, and very helpful if someone had a concern. The makeup looked awesome! I felt pretty and it was light weight and lasted all night.

I found LC Makeup-Artistry here on Weddingwire.com. I was hoping to find someone who would travel to the location of our wedding to apply makeup, would be flexible and understanding of what I wanted as well as willing to apply the makeup for my teenage step-daughters. Lauren of LC Makeup-Aristry went above and beyond to accommodate us and our experience was far above all my expectations. I was so happy with her work and felt beyond beautiful on my wedding day. I have been going to Laura for makeup and eyebrow shaping for years, so it was never a question that she would be my choice for doing my makeup for my wedding. I even checked her availability before finalizing our wedding date. Laura is a total professional and worth every penny. She not only did my makeup, but two of my bridesmaids’, two hostesses’, and my mom’s makeup as well. None of us ever wear a lot of makeup and came out looking stunning - not overdone or fake. She’s the real deal, ladies Prior to my wedding, Laura did my make up twice for weddings that I stood in and twice for a boudior photo shoot. She made us all look and feel gorgeous. I would trust her with my face any day.

I absolutely love LC Make-up Artistry and would highly highly recommend!! I had Laura do my make-up for my wedding day and it turned out better than I ever imagined. I was nervous about getting my makeup professionally done as I have never had it done before and don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, but it turned out great! I felt so beautiful and the way the makeup looks in all of my pictures is incredible! She really understands how to apply makeup so that you look beautiful in photos as well as in person. Her services aren't cheap, but I would say it is definitely worth it! You won't regret it when you're looking back on all your wedding photos! I also had my hair done through LC Make-Up Artistry and it was equally as awesome!

Laura was the best make up artist I could ask for on my big day!
She helped with extra things and gave myself and my bridesmaids all the time they needed and really made me feel amazingly flawless. Laura is a true professional. I've worked with her on photo shoots that I've shot as well. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my makeup for my big day. She always knows exactly how to make you look and feel your best! I felt amazing on my wedding day and my makeup held all day! I didn't want to wash it off at the end of the night!

I've been photographing weddings for 3 years now and when I saw Laura's makeup skills I was BEYOND amazed. It was clean, not overdone and the lashes were GORGEOUS. Not only that, but it lasted all day. I normally have to do editing to my bride's faces, but with Laura's application I didn't have to do a thing.
I was so happy with Laura's work that I have her work on my models and clients for various photoshoots. If you think you will save a couple bucks having your friend or sister do your makeup, spend the money on this PRO. You will be very pleased.

As a bride, I wanted to feel and look beautiful on my big day. LC Make-Up Artistry did just that. Laura is absolutely wonderful and she did a more than perfect job on my bridal make-up. I contacted LC Makeup for my wedding and engagment photos in March. I had never hired a professional make up artist before and was a bit unsure. After meeting with Laura I was very excited to get the process started. I met with Laura for my trial run and due to my senstive skin she made adjustments to some of the make up she used. Laura had great knowledge of the skin and sensativities. I was so pleased with the trial run and on wedding day Laura and Janelle her hair stylest came right to the house and did all the girls hair and makeup right as we were all getting ready in the comfort of my home. After viewing my engagment photos and wedding photos, I will never and I mean never have professional photos done without professional makeup. Laura has become my makeup artist for life. I would never do even family photos wihout professional makeup! It made that big of a difference, it lasted all day even through sweating as I danced at the wedding. The makeup never caused any type of reaction on my sensative skin! That is all do to Laura's education and superior knowledge. Her team is absolutly amazing! She is a wedding must have!!!

Laura is absolutely phenomenal! I am a professional photographer so I know how much of an impact make-up can have on a portrait. I highly recommend Laura to all of my brides. She did my make-up as well as my mother's for my wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results! Laura is friendly and professional. I even had to find a new hair stylist a week before my wedding and Laura saved the day by contacting one of her stylists for me (who also did an awesome job). Totally worth the money. If you need a make-up artist Laura should be your first call hands down!

I was referred to Laura by a good friend. I was getting married and really wanted to look perfect for our special day. I didn't really know what to expect since I had never had my make up done by a professional. Laura did not disappoint! My make up was amazing! I contacted Laura last minute to do my make up and she was very accommodating and fit me in even though she had a busy day. My make up looked great and made me feel beautiful. I got so many compliments on how nice it looked and it stayed on great. My face is usually shiny and the air brush makeup kept my skin looking perfect all day and night, even after hours of dancing. I was a bride coming from Arizona and I had never met laura until we did the trial run for my makeup. I instantly felt comfortable with her and could tell she was very knowledgeable about makeup application. She was very open about trying different looks but I was super happy with the first one she did. On the day of the wedding she came to the hotel and she was very calming on a day that can be a little hectic. I was so happy with the results and I really felt for airbrush and the makeup application it was so reasonable. I would recommend her to any bride getting married in that area.

I would recommend Laura to anyone for any special occasion. She did my make up for my wedding and I couldn't of been more satisfied. She did a great job and all everyone kept telling me was how beautiful I looked...which is exactly what every girl wants to hear on her wedding day :-) excellent

I contacted Laura only a couple of months before my wedding and she was able to work with me in order to get me in for my bridal makeup even though she had another wedding party to do that day. She was wonderful to work with and I got so many compliments on my makeup! The airbrush makeup really is amazing and is very much worth the price. I met Laura when I was doing a boudoir photo shoot as a gift for my future husband. I loved her work but wasn't sure about spending the money. My mom saw what an amazing job Laura did and had me book her for myself and my mother right away! She also did my pre-wedding waxing. She is extremely friendly and professional. I got as many or more compliments on my make-up as I did on my dress. I am SO glad I made the decision to book her. My make-up survived all day and night and through the next day, despite a 90 degree July day!

I had Laura and Janel do my makeup and hair for my wedding in February and they did an awesome job once again !!! My daughter also had them do all the girls and herself for her wedding last October so I had no doubt I wanted them for my own wedding. I wouldn't think about having anyone else do it. As soon as I had an idea when my wedding would be I contacted Laura and she was so great about getting back with me and working with me. I consider both Laura and Janel like family members, they are both so sweet !!! I would recommend them highly for anyone who wants to look stunning for any occasion !!!

We had Laura and Janel come to my Mom's house for wedding day makeup and hair for pretty much our entire bridal party, about 7 people, and they arrived right on time, started beautifying, and got us out the door as close to on time as possible....my lil sis decided to get makeup last minute of course and we still ended up being on time. What really impressed me about Laura and Janel is their willingness to work with me to find the perfect hairstyle and makeup. Janel spent so much time trying to get my hair the way I wanted to, she even went with me to pick out hair extensions, she colored them for me to make sure they matched perfectly, and setup a second hair trial so we were ready for the big day. Both were very professional, provided great service, and are VERY VERY talented at what they do. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Laura did an amazing job on my wedding day. We did a trial and she did exactly what I asked but then after thinking about it I decided I wanted to go on the lighter side and 4 days before my wedding she did another trial! It turned out beautiful and had nothing to worry about on my wedding day! She did my bridesmaids, mom, and my aunt and we all looked so beautiful!! Book Laura, you won't be disappointed!!

Laura did an awesome job with the make up for me (the bride), my maid-of-honor and one of my bridesmaids. The morning of the wedding was busy, I like that she came to us. Laura did an amazing job on my makeup for a Murder Mystery Dinner!! I dressed the part of "Princess Pop" and Laura was able to create the perfect look to make my blue eyes sparkle and flatter the bubble gum pink dress I chose.

The foundation amazes me, how she creates such a "Perfect palatte" to start with. My make up lasted all night and I never had to touch up, when I got home, it looked exactly like it did when I left :-) Thank you for your professional touch to my exciting night! I will recommend you to anyone looking for the "best!"

I am SO happy that Laura was the one to beautify me on my wedding day! Booking was a breeze and I got all of my questions answered. I didn't opt for a trial run, so luckily she was able to get a sense of what I wanted and executed it perfectly the day of. Her personality was just what I needed to calm my nerves and feel confident about my makeup. It lasted all day, I got tons of compliments, and the photos turned out awesome. Thank you Laura!

Laura did a great job on the makeup for my wedding. All the girls in my wedding party looked beautiful. She was very personable and fit in with our group well. She does airbrush makeup which is what I wanted because I don't have perfect skin and wanted to make sure I looked good all day on my wedding day. The makeup really did last all day. I was sad to take it off. I would recommend hiring Laura. I would also recommend paying the balance up front so you don't have to pay the $100 booking fee.

My whole experience with Laura was absolutely amazing. She is such a sweet, sweet person and so talented. She made me look and feel absolutely beautiful for my Wedding Day. Out of all of my wedding vendors, this is the one that could have been most improved. While the work completed is acceptable, Laura is not very tactful or professional. On 2 occasions Laura did not respond to my phone calls/e-mails promptly. She also said that she would e-mail me a breakdown of bridal party costs following my hair/make up trial, which she neglected to do. When she mentioned that a bill would be sent, that also did not happen. She blamed technology for these things not happening, but I feel that with the number of times that things happened, it was only an excuse. None of my bridesmaids that got their make up done were entirely pleased with the outcome. One even mentioned that it was similar to how she does her make up everyday. My maid of honor, and sister, was offended when Laura condescendingly remarked on how terrible her skin looked. I feel that this was very unprofessional given that we were all paying a high rate for a service only to be insulted.

On the other hand, our hairstylist, Janelle, did an excellent job. Everyone was very happy with their hair and the styles held up well all day. Her service and personality were a bright spot in the morning as we got ready.

Overall, I have reservations about recommending this company based on the level of professionalism as well as the steep, steep price.
