Our tour experience at Lavender on the lake was incredible. The reception room, with the high ceilings and breathtaking views of the lake had us sold as soon as we walked in. The cherry on top was how sweet Shelley and Jason were during the tour. We felt we were becoming part of the Lavender family, not just another couple. They were truly engaged in hearing our story and sharing their story. We can't wait to have our wedding there! -

As a photographer, I absolutely loved working at this venue! Every part of the property is beautifully designed , from the getting ready suites, to the outdoor ceremony space, and the reception area. It made capturing every part of the wedding day so easy and enjoyable.
I also had the opportunity to work personally with the owners, and they were incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Florida weather can be so unpredictable, and they handled last-minute changes and fixes seamlessly, helping the entire day run smoothly.
I truly look forward to photographing more weddings here in the future and would highly recommend this venue to both couples and fellow vendors!

I found Lavender on the Lake on social media and fell in love with the pictures! The sunsets are amazing over the lake and the venue is spectacular! The wonderful owners gave us a tour and we booked immediately! Coming from an event background I recognize the the thought process behind the placement of everything! Such attention to detail! We can’t wait for our big day! -

My Experience
This venue is not completed currently but it's beautiful and the vision they have for it is great. I fell in love with this place as soon as I went to tour it. I originally planned to have a 2 day Indian wedding at this venue.
If you are looking to book this unit, I would say there are a few concerns as there are a lot of promises of getting things done on time which seem close to impossible in a little over 2 months (June 1st is their first wedding). The biggest reason I did not go with this venue is the Owner's Wife Shelley. She was very sweet during the tour, but she is frazzled very easily. She was not open to sending a contract for review before giving a verbal yes, she provided incorrect information regarding the ability to bring home cooked food for the Hindu ceremony and did not mention the day of coordinator requirement that is in their contract. Although these might seem minor, the situation that caused me to run in the opposite direction of this venue is Shelley's comments. I had sent an email regarding possibly having only one of my events at their venue and asked if the pricing provided was dependent on doing both days. She then called me, so I asked her the question and her response were "Yes" and then later said "No." That caused confusion so I asked the question again. She then responded with, "I will not be bullied into an answer." That statement threw me completely off and was extremely uncalled for and rude. It's her job to be able to provide those answers or state she will get back to me. At that point on, I asked for a sit-down meeting to also ask a few other questions and she stated I had to email so she could consult with an attorney. That seems very extreme regarding basic questions around the venue and contract.
In all, I DO NOT recommend booking them as they created added stress around something that should be exciting as an engaged couple. If she acted like this prior to booking, I could only imagine the hardships I would have if I booked the venue.
