  Phenomenal!!

  Wonderful in every way!

  We hired Lavandula Strings to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were absolutely amazing! From the beginning, Joy was so easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. We've never hired string musicians before so she walked us through the process and what to expect. During the ceremony, the quartet timed our songs perfectly and I can say with full confidence, there was not a single dry eye in the room. It felt so special to hear the strings as I walked down the aisle. During cocktail hour, the musicians played as we took photos outside. Our guests absolutely loved it and they enjoyed dancing to their music, especially the kids. We had the chance to speak with Joy and the other musicians afterwards and they were all lovely people and very accomplished. They all had graduate degrees and had performed all over the world as classical musicians - they had even performed at weddings for celebrities! It really made our ceremony special to have them share their talents with us on such an important day! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional musicians that go above and beyond!

  Wonderful music by wonderful people

  We had a great time with Lavandula Strings. They were responsive and professional throughout the entire process. If you need a classy, elegant touch for your wedding, look no further than Lavandula Strings! Joy is an angel on the violin, by the way.

  The Type of Music that Leaves Memories!

  I had a wonderful experience with Lavandula Strings. I felt nervous about the prospect of having live musicians and almost backed out and relied on prerecorded music. Thankfully, I changed my mind and I am extremely happy that I chose to hire them for my processional, before people were seated and during the cocktail hour. They create personalized, dynamic arrangements and can play ANYTHING. The group never made me feel dumb or like a nuisance and they somehow made me a fan of a few songs I did not initially like on the radio but loved as their original string arrangements! I recommend them for their skill hands down - but moreover, I suggest working with them because they are kind, genuine people who love to share their craft. Thank you Lavandula Strings for making me feel so lucky on one of the biggest days of my life.

  Amazing ensemble!

  We hired this ensemble for our wedding, and we had the most wonderful experience with them! They were very flexible and reliable, and the performance was beautiful! Definitely recommend!!

  Great performance, really flexible, and personalized service

  I first connected with Joy, the first violinist, in January 2019 after our wedding had been rescheduled twice due to Covid. Joy was so understanding and did everything she could to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. She wrote out a personalized transcription of my wife's favorite song and kept up communication as our wedding approached in August. The wedding went seamlessly and we received so many compliments on the string quartet's playing. They were also genuinely kind people! I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a great addition to their ceremony,

  Amazing and accommodating

  I knew I wanted to hire a classical group to perform at my wedding but I wasn't sure if I could afford it. Joy suggested a violin and cello duo to fit my budget and they were amazing! They performed the songs I requested with the perfect timing. They really made my day memorable and I would recommend them to anyone hoping to make their day special!

  An exprienced, kind, and professional team

  I can't recommend Lavandula Strings enough. I've worked with Joy before Lavandula was founded, and you can rest assured I'm going to keep working with her and Lavandula Strings for events. Their diverse experiences shows, and they're extremely adaptable. They're kind, professional, and an all ground great group.
