Any professional wedding photographer who knows what they’re doing will take nice photographs of your day, what Lauryn gives you is freaking ART. I stumbled upon her work while planning our moody fall wedding and thought her aesthetic would be perfect for the vibe we wanted to capture. And, it was. My husband and I literally gasped at some of the pictures as we were going through our gallery. Truly gorgeous shots that look like they could be in GQ or an upscale wedding magazine, but that still capture the emotion of the day. She also did a great job handling our family for portraits including a squirmy almost-two-year-old, and was willing to hike up under a bridge to take our engagement photos. I had considered cutting our budget around the photographer investment early on in the planning process and I am so, so happy I didn’t go that route - your wedding goes by so fast and some if it will be just a blur, trust me, you’re going to want the best photos you can possibly get. You can’t go wrong with this lady! -

Loved working with Lauryn!
Lauryn was an absolute dream to work with! She is so professional, creative, and talented. We felt so comfortable with her right from the start of the day and just enjoyed the whole experience. She captured the day so well, and it has been amazing to relive our wedding day through looking at the pictures. We are so happy with our photos and would highly recommend working with Lauryn!

Lauryn photographed our wedding in February 2024. She is an absolute dream to work with! We knew right away that we were in good hands from the the first consultation. Lauryn was thorough in the details, clearly communicated with us, and ensured that our vision for the big day was aligned. On the actual wedding day, she was delightful to be around. It was pretty chilly that day, and she ran all around Philly to all of the locations that we requested to capture our photographs, all while keeping us happy and comfortable. She was amazingly organized, stuck to the timeline, and kept everyone else on schedule (no easy feat). When we saw the actual finished products, we were blown away. They are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier. When thinking back on the day, we recognize that we love how our photos turned out because of Lauryn's ability to make us feel so comfortable posing for photos. It really translates into the photographs, and we are forever grateful to Lauryn because it's something we will look back on fondly for years to come. Do yourselves a favor and book Lauryn as your photographer! She's an absolute gem! -

Lauryn is so amazing!
Hiring Lauryn was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. We just got our photos back and I cannot thank her enough. She was a joy to work during planning/on our wedding day. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable and relaxed. Lauryn has a great personality and is just an amazing person all around. Hire her for your wedding,engagement pics, etc. as soon as you can. -

We used Lauryn for both our engagement photos and wedding day photographer. She was absolutely amazing! From helping us pose, to helping organize family photos (with kids included), she really went above and beyond. It rained on our wedding day and Lauryn helped us to just roll with it and the photos turned out AMAZING! Definitely highly recommend Lauryn! -

This is a criminally late review, but one that I could not let myself forget to write!
Simply put, Lauryn is not only the best photographer we have ever worked with, but she is simply one of the best PEOPLE we have ever have had the pleasure of working with!
Driving from Philly to Boston, Lauryn showed up to the hotel early, and just hit the ground running. She introduced herself, infecting everyone with her fun, bubbly personality. So effortless were our conversations, we didn't even realize she had been snapping pictures the moment she entered the room. When it was time to get going, she yanked out the schedule we created, and moved the bridal and groom parties around like she was a day-of coordinator, which we already had 2 of!
I have never seen my wife on time for anything, but Lauryn got her from Point A to Point B like the pro she is! She made sure neither parties crossed paths before we got to the aisle, nailed every single shot we wanted (and ones we didn't even know we wanted!), and kept us all on time, with some to spare.
By the end of the night, we all just wanted to be friends with her!
We will recommend Lauryn to any and everyone! We wish we could rate her even higher! It is a genuine hope that we can work with her again in the future!

Lauryn is the BEST!
Lauryn did such a fantastic job with our wedding. I knew from the moment we hired her that she was going to be super organized and keep our rowdy bridal party on time the day of the wedding. She did that and everything more, not to mention her photos come out beautiful. Lauryn was so easy to work with and she led us through this entire process effortlessly. I would highly recommend Lauryn to anyone looking for a photographer! -

Incredible!
Lauryn went above and beyond our expectations for a photographer. She was outstanding, quick to send teasers and out photos back and truly gave a personal touch through our our wedding day! She stayed with me and even helped bustle my dress. It was as if she was an additional bridesmaid. We would recommend her 10x times over and plan to continue to use her for future photographer sessions; family shots, etc. We love our wedding shots and they will forever be the best items for us to look back on our amazing day! One of the big reasons we hired Lauryn was because she said she was big on capturing candid shots. It wasn't something that we knew we wanted until we talked to her, but she said she liked capturing the feeling of the moment and we were sold. And boy did she do that for our wedding. Every time I turned around on the dance floor, she was there making sure she got the fun we were having on film.
In addition to this, the staged shots were phenomenal. (Didn't know how much I loved the look of a bouquet dropped at the side until I saw what she sent back to us)! Honestly, cannot say enough good about her and the pictures she took! -

Lauryn was beyond perfect! We booked her for both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and she nailed it! Not only did the pictures absolutely blow us away, but she made every step feel fun, laid back, and like we’ve been friends for years.
For our engagement shoot location she gave us an amazing list of nearby recommendations. She got us the pictures in record time and made us feel like we were pros.
Our wedding day was beyond perfect. She pulled off some magic and kept some cute surprises I had planned for my husband a secret, and made sure she was perfectly placed for the reveals! The schedule she had laid out for us made everything flow seamlessly.
We already can’t wait for the next big event in our new life together that we can ask her again to freeze in time. -

Lauryn was amazing! I loved working with her. From the moment we met for an initial meeting we hit it off. I had some family emergency issues right after we met but she was so sweet and held our date until I was able to send a deposit. Due to covid we had to cancel our original wedding date in June, by late July we quickly planned our end of August wedding. Lauryn was flexible and open when we rescheduled. Even though we didn't have an engagement photo session, it was so easy to work with Lauryn. Thank you Lauryn! -

We had our wedding in the middle of this global pandemic, and Lauryn was the only choice that didn’t change. She was flexible, understanding and really fun. If our wedding day wasn’t already the best day ever, she made it 1000x better! She will laugh and cry with you from behind the camera, while capturing each candid moment and perfect memory effortlessly. She hiked up a mountain for us literally and figuratively. The best!!!
Lauryn is an absolute rockstar!! She is kind, reassuring, and extremely accommodating! Lauryn shot our wedding on 2/29 at The Valley Green Inn. It was freezing for our outside ceremony, and she really worked with us to make everyone comfortable that day. She was so personable that the guests raved about how kind she was after the wedding. Her talent is absolutely breathtaking, her style is timeless, and you can see the dedication that she puts into each and every photo. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!! -

Stop looking for a Wedding Photographer and Book Lauryn!
For the people who scroll through reviews looking for facts:
-Pictures = I cannot describe how beautiful they are. They are BEYOND. Beautifully edited and she captures the perfect moments. Our fist kiss picture? I cry every time I look at it.
-Professionalism = 100 out of 10. Lauryn responds to every question and concern.
-Timeliness = I received my pictures back in two months (AND it was the holiday season!)
-Price = fit perfectly in my budget and was significantly below other photographers.
-Style = Shes prefers candid photos as opposed to staged photos. Which was a win in my book. But she also works with you to create any image you have in mind.
-Should you book her? YESSSS!
I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Lauryn. Her contagious positive attitude, creativity and talent are just a few of the reasons why you should hire her. -

Just the best!!
Lauryn is such a gem and truly one of the MVPs of our wedding day. Her work is stunning, and I am obsessed with every single one of our photos. But on top of that, she is an amazing person to have with you on a day when you may be, as I was, a little insane. She is super sweet, fun, and genuine, while also being an incredible people-manager. We had a tight timeline with multiple locations throughout the day. Lauryn got every shot (and then some), wrangled my unruly family and my husband's large one, dodged traffic in a Wawa parking lot (yes we took pictures there), and just generally made everything happen, while also being incredibly flexible with whatever last minute ideas I came up with. I never felt rushed, but I also never felt like I had to worry about getting everything in because she had everything in hand. During the ceremony and reception, she was like a fly on the wall, catching things I didn't even know were happening, and then suddenly appearing to help with things like getting a plate for the cake cutting when the catering staff forgot to bring one out.
Lauryn was also so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, from sending me vendor recommendations to finalizing our timeline, and she definitely wins the title of Fastest Email Responder. From our first phone conversation, she was reassuring and just so lovely to work with. She's really the whole package, and one of my favorite vendors that we worked with--I couldn't recommend her more!! -

Amazing to work with!
My now husband and I met Lauryn on a brewery tour a week after we got engaged and instantly hit it off. I found out she went to the same college as I had and we knew right away, we had to use her for our photographer! I looked at her work and loved everything, especially the candids she took and how the pictures weren't all the, "typical" wedding photos. Lauryn's prices were reasonable and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect before the wedding day and day of. I am a very anxious person and Lauryn answered any all and my questions in a timely manner and constantly put me at ease. Day of, she was right on time and took all of the pictures I requested. She even helped me put on my shoes and carry my dress at times! Just this week, we got out pictures back and needless to say, I am beyond happy with them! Anyone that has seen them so far is so impressed as well. I highly recommend using Lauryn for your event! -

Lauryn is so talented, and so much fun to work with! There are so many amazing photographers to choose from that it was a process to whittling down who we wanted to work with for wedding photography. It's the most high stakes vendor to hire, in my opinion, as the photos are what we will look back on for years and years to come.
We are so pleased with Lauryn's creative vision, and expert skill. My husband and I really wanted to have the photojournalistic style of wedding photography - we wanted a few posed pictures for our first look and family photos, and after that we really wanted Lauryn to capture the day as it unfolded without pretense and staging. She had so many ideas as we went that showed she really was focused on having her photos show the best representation of our wedding day.
We cannot recommend Lauryn more highly as someone who will work tirelessly to capture, edit, and deliver the best possible photos. She's a true gem! -

Beautiful style and a joy to work with!
We couldn't be happier with the service Lauryn provided, and the beautiful photographs that perfectly captured the feel and emotion of our day.
From our first meeting together, Lauryn made us feel like we were interacting and working with an old friend. She is relaxed and casual but very professional at the same time, and communications with her were always prompt and direct.
On the day of our wedding, Lauryn took charge of the bridal party shoot and made it through all of the many iterations of the party that we wanted. Her directing was subtle but effective which allowed us and the bridal party to concentrate on each other, and she captured all of the organic smiles and laughter that resulted from the atmosphere she helped foster.
We are tempted to make this review way too long because of how happy we are with every single one of the photographs she captured, but we'll cut it off here and end with a 10/10 recommendation.
Lauryn, thank you so much for capturing every aspect of our wedding day so beautifully, and for being a joy to work with- being able to see the hundreds of little moments throughout the day of all of our friends and family is something we will value forever. -

Brooke Sent on 06/19/2018Absolute best part of my wedding day was my photographer! My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Lauryn for our wedding day. We had contacted over 20 photographers - based on budget, we interviewed about half of them over the phone. We wanted more candid shots for our wedding and when we spoke to Lauryn, she really seemed to understand our vision and was successful in capturing several weddings in the way we were hoping. We wanted to capture the reality of the wedding – happy tears, stage frightened children, and eye rolls, which she did perfectly! Her passion for photography and her personality match her talent.
When the wedding day arrived, there were so many different directions I was being pulled in and I am so glad my pictures were not something I had to stress about. I spoke with Lauryn prior to the wedding day about certain shots I wanted and she made sure to fit all of them in throughout the day.
As I was getting pictures with the wedding party, Lauryn was very flexible with all the different ideas we came up with on the spot. My husband isn’t into pictures much and she did a phenomenal job making him feel comfortable and capturing some extremely special shots of the two of us.
I would highly recommend Lauryn to anyone looking for a stress-free photography experience. By the end of the day, she felt more like a friend than just a photographer we had hired for our wedding. My pictures are stunning. Her work stands out by a mile, in fact, I have already had multiple people contact me about who I used because of her unique work. Highly recommend!!!!! -

Diane Sent on 12/01/2017Lauryn is incredible! I booked her almost a year before our wedding because her shots just looked so beautiful. We skyped with her in the very beginning, she was so extremely responsive to emails and we just knew this whole process was going to be perfect.
It was just Lauryn there the day of, but dang, you didn't feel like she needed an assistant AT ALL. Every time you thought "Oh I need a photo of this" she was there! Climbing into bushes, running around; we loved it! She had amazing ideas to make us look our best when we did our first look, and organized all of our rowdy families and wedding party to make sure she followed our shot list to a "T." My husband and I just kept looking at each other going "This woman is amazing! I am so happy."
After an incredible day where we really bonded with Lauryn, we just knew the photos would be brilliant. And there was no chance we were going to be disappointed. She got us over 1000 shots, SO MANY retouched, in I kid you not, less than 2 months! We were in shock. I told her that when we received her email that they were ready, and that she had put some up on Facebook we jumped up and down in our kitchen with excitement before running over to the computer.
I am so utterly in love with every single photo she took and edited. They are gorgeous. The venue DID NOT LOOK LIKE THAT! Her editing skills are even better than we expected. We had to show everyone! I immediately went to make albums for our whole family. Everyone is so impressed! We had the best experience from the reassurance beforehand, to her showing up at the salon early with us all, and providing us a service that went above and beyond our expectations and my standards as a amateur photographer myself. And after all that we gained a new wonderful friend! We love Lauryn!!!
Please hire her! There is no chance you will regret it. She made our day SO special. -

The photographer is one of the most important parts of your wedding, capturing every detail of the day; but you do not need to spend what other photographers charge for their services. Lauryn is professional, cheerful, accommodating, knowledgeable, and an all around amazing person (she even left us a card in our card box). We had a vision for our wedding but did not have any set pictures in mind. She guided us around, explained her vision and reason for her shots to make sure every detail was captured beautifully. She felt more like part of our wedding party than a hired vendor. She literally was everywhere and yet we did not feel as if we had a camera hovering over us. We could not have asked for more. Do yourselves a favor....hire her now! Thank you very very much, Lauryn!
