Amazing florist

Laurie and her team did an amazing job with the florals at my wedding this past weekend!! Everything was stunning and perfectly executed.

The arrangements stayed super fresh the day after the wedding, so we were able to reuse a few for brunch as well as for a more intimate family dinner the following evening.

I would highly recommend working with Laurie. Thank you so much for making my wedding beautiful and memorable.

Laurie is the best!

Laurie was LOVELY to work with! She was on our wedding venue’s preferred vendors list and we completely understand why. Laurie was friendly, professional, and supportive from the start. We had a winter wedding just before Christmas and while we wanted to tie in the holiday spirit, we didn’t want the décor to look silly or tacky. Laurie brought our vision to life and then some. She made our venue look GORGEOUS with her floral arrangements and little touches throughout the space. The bouquets and boutonnieres she created were perfect. In the months before our wedding, she and I spoke several times over the phone as plans and visions came together. We also met once for coffee to talk about the final plan. She was enthusiastic, and made the entire experience a positive, fun one. She also understood where our budget limits were and helped create a robust plan that fell within our budget. Laurie also helped keep my wild ideas in check at times, when what I had in mind might be too expensive for us, teeter over the edge of silly, or just a big pain in the neck! Planning can be hard, but she was a superb person to have by my side. We don’t have our professional photos back yet, but I’ll try to update this review when I get them. I highly recommend booking Laurie – she’s worth every penny, friendly, upbeat, super talented, and brought our wedding dreams to life.

The best florist!

I could not have been happier with my experience working with Laurie on my wedding flowers. It was a very overwhelming task for me and she was so calm, friendly, and knowledgeable- helping to majorly lower my stress level. After one call with Laurie she understood my vision. She always made herself available to chat with me on any thoughts I had and knew how to bring my vision to life. My flowers were everything I could have dreamed of and more! I couldn’t even count the amount of compliments I got on our florals. If you’re looking for a florist I couldn’t recommend Laurie more!!!

The Most Beautiful Flowers

Laurie did an amazing job for our wedding! Flowers were a big priority for us and she understood exactly what we wanted. We wanted fun and bright colors with a pop of citrus and she absolutely delivered!

Stunning flowers!

Honestly the best florist I have seen in all of RI! I have seen many of the weddings she has done over the years on social media and knew that I wanted to book her for my wedding! She was the first vendor I decided on , and I am so glad I did! It was the easiest decision I made! The flowers were honestly out-of-this-world gorgeous!! I could not stop looking at my bouquet and many of my guests came up to me to comment on how beautiful the floral arrangements were. I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted. I just gave Laurie an idea of the color scheme and honestly nothing else and somehow the arrangements she made were EXACTLY what I wanted - actually better than I imagined! And as if that isn't enough, Laurie is so sweet and professional and really a joy to work with! If you can book Laurie, DO IT! Worth every penny and you will not regret it!! I will be recommending her to all of my friends and family in the future!

The flowers were outstanding. perfect for the venue and also for my daughter. Laurie is a pleasure to work with. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at what she does. Laurie is also passionate about what she does and strives to go well beyond your every expectation. I would not hesitate to hire this fantastic florist.

Newport Beach House Wedding

Laurie did an amazing job on the flowers for our wedding.

We got married at the Newport Beach House in September and she went above and beyond my expectations. I was pretty specific about what flowers I liked and disliked but didn’t have a real vision of what I wanted everything to look like together. Laurie took my list and created something I could never have imagined. Both my mom and mother in law are pretty opinionated when it comes to flowers and Laurie was able to exceed both of their expectations. They can’t stop talking about how great the flowers were.

I met with Laurie two times, we emailed a bunch and she called me a week before the wedding to confirm everything. I gave her our budget right away and she had no problem staying within it and at no point made me feel like we should spend more. I also really appreciated that Laurie only does one wedding a weekend. It gave me a sense of calm to know she would be focused on our flowers. (Especially compared to other florists I met with in the area. It was clear they tried to schedule as many weddings as possible.) Laurie was also very honest about what flowers she thought would be available at the time of our wedding and what would be too costly.

I could not recommend her enough!

Perfection

Laurie did an amazing job with our wedding flowers and decor. We got married at the Newport Beach House in Rhode Island and she created the most beautiful bouquets, wreathes, and arrangements I have ever seen. We discussed colors, flowers, bouquet styles, etc. and she brought it all together perfectly. She paid attention to every last detail and it was truly breathtaking to see. Everyone raved about her work and I could not recommend her enough. She's experienced, talented, and on top of that a joy to work with. Laurie is there every step of the way to make sure that the day of the wedding is everything you envisioned and more. I can't thank her enough for all of her hard work and how beautifully everything turned out!

Laurie’s work is beautiful! I didn’t have my heart set on any floral look- I just chatted with Laurie about colors, textures, and seasonal choices. We had initially envisioned some high and some low table arrangements, and she helped us decide to go with all low arrangements to keep within our budget and vary the look from table to table. It was stunning! The variety of texture within each arrangement drew the eye in and was remarkable. Thank you, Laurie!

Laurie was wonderful. The floral arrangements at our wedding were just gorgeous; really breathtaking. We received many compliments. Moreover, Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very warm and personable, and her experience and taste were evident from the start. She understood my vision and I appreciated her creative suggestions that helped to round it all out. Laurie is a talented artist and I would highly recommend her to any bride or event planner!

Thank you Laurie! From the initial meeting to our big day, Laurie was responsive, professional, personable, and so accommodating. Most importantly, she made the most BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements for our wedding! She really picked up on exactly the look we were going for and I cannot describe how gorgeous the flowers were, we wished we could have saved all the arrangements after the wedding! Laurie was so great at guiding our vision, and making suggestions to help fit the space and our budget. Working with Laurie was so easy! Her sweet and professional attitude had me at ease from the start. She provided great suggestions when I was at a loss and delivered the most gorgeous bouquets/arrangements I have ever seen! Even the staff at our venue commented on her work/flowers being exceptional. She was prepared for everything.. even bringing along an extra flower girl basket & ring bearer pillow "just in case". After the wedding, our house was filled with flowers for WEEKS.

If you are looking for gorgeous flowers at a resonable price... look no further and book Laurie while you can!!

Laurie Marshall is incredible! She is the sweetest lady and she is so talented! Laurie is extremely busy, but makes ample time for all of her clients. She communicates often (in-person meetings, emails, and texts) throughout the process to ensure that she fully understands your ‘vision.’ She is very detail-oriented and made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it on the big day. Our wedding was at Rosecliff, which requires lots of elaborate arrangements to fill the grand space. Nevertheless, Laurie worked within our budget to create our dream wedding! Everything was beautiful – I would highly recommend her!

Laurie and her team were amazing. Flowers were beautiful - but not overdone. She delivered exactly what we wanted right on budget. So easy to work with. Do not hesitate for even a second. I recommend you book her to do flowers for your wedding before somebody else does.

Laurie did all the flowers for my wedding a few weeks ago and I just cannot say enough good things about her. She truly cares about making each client happy and giving them the wedding that they pictured. The wedding was at my home, and so it was very important to me that she have arrangements that made the location look special and warm. I knew she would be great, but she really exceeded my expectations - from the centerpieces, to the garlands, to the flower boxes and pots, she transformed my home into a gorgeous setting for our ceremony and reception. I have received tons of compliments about how spectacular the floral arrangements were! She also is a lovely person who will go the extra mile just to make sure that you are happy. It was wonderful to work with her, and I can't recommend her highly enough!

Laurie is absolutely fabulous to work with! She is a great listener with a wealth of experience and solid creative vision which she is able to actualize beautifully. I could not have been more pleased with her work - the flowers were stunning! I can't recommend her highly enough!!!

Laurie Marshall is the best in the business, there is absolutely no comparison. Her work is exquisite and detailed. Laurie goes the extra mile. Numerous people at my wedding told me that the flowers were the most beautiful they had ever seen. Laurie went so far as to loan me two blue wooden chairs, from her very own kitchen, to complete the color theme at our sweet heart table. I've known Laurie for years although this is the first time I've been her client and the experience was like a dream. She took my color requests and turned our vision into reality. Her work is truly breathtaking. Laurie makes you feel like the most important bride in the world, who doesn't want that?

Laurie went above and beyond anything I could have expected for our flowers! She really knows what she's doing and how everything will come together. She convinced me to use these red/orange roses that I initially didn't think I wanted. I wanted to go with more minimal colors; but I love those colors in flowers so I had her incorporate into them into my bridal bouquet and minimal amounts in our centerpieces. A fantastic decision and a wonderful idea from Laurie. I adored our flowers - all of them! We got to take a lot of them home after the ceremony and I would stare at them all the time in their beauty until we finally had to part with them. Absolutely beautiful work! She works with your ideas and what you are looking for while also suggesting her own ideas from her experience and knowledge. And she stays in budget without loosing the look of what you are going for. She really knows what she's doing. I would recommend her to anyone!

Laurie did a fantastic job on the flowers for our wedding. I never had a change to meet her in person until our wedding day but we spoke several times on the phone. She nailed our vision and we received so many compliments. Laurie went above and beyond to help keep our numerous and extravagant ideas on budget. There were so many details and random things that I requested from Laurie outside of our bouquets and centerpieces. She never batted an eye and did a beautiful job and made our vision come to life. We had spoken with many other florists to receive quotes nothing was as reasonable as Laurie especially considering everything we requested. I would highly recommend her!!

Laurie was such a pleasure to work with, and she created the most gorgeous, stunning arrangements for our wedding day. Laurie did a fantastic job on my bouquets for the wedding! I called Laurie in a panic when I needed to secure bouquets for my myself and my bridesmaids and even though she had a very large wedding the same day, she accommodated us and our budget! Laurie even met us for coffee to talk about the types of bouquets I liked! She was so flexible with our last minute requests. Her flowers were stunning!! The bouquets came out exactly how I wanted them to. Just perfect!! They even looked great the next day when we went to pick up our things from our venue. Thanks Laurie!

Laurie was a joy to work with. Every single person commented on how beautiful and one of a kind the flowers were at my Wedding. She was extremely talented, experienced, and helpful. I couldn't have been more pleased with how the arrangements and bouquets came out.

Laurie Marshall did an incredible job. She really understood what I wanted my wedding flowers and decorations to look like. Working with her was just easy. She is so nice! I showed her some ideas of flowers, colors and decorations and she ran with it. She created this beautiful lace, and ribbon backdrop for my ceremony. Everyone is still talking about the flowers from my wedding. They were so fresh and so pretty! The day of I wanted to see everything before the guests arrived. I walked upstairs and saw my vision of exactly what I wanted my wedding to look like (but even better than I imagined). It made me cry. I would highly recommend using Laurie Marshall as your florist. She really made my day special.

Laurie Marshall Flowers was hands down the best vendor for our wedding in terms of value, gorgeous product provided, and customer service. I cannot possibly say enough how thrilled we were with Laurie Marshall Flowers. Every person loved our flowers; they were so stunning that I am not much of a crier but my eyes just absolutely overflowed with joy. It was the perfect way to start my day. Two of my bridesmaids also got married this year - when I told one the cost of our flowers her mouth literally fell open. She spent twice as much for so much less in an area of the world that is much more cost friendly.

We loved Laurie right from the beginning. We were impressed with her professionalism, warmth, and knowledge, but what really sold us was every time we tossed an idea out, Laurie would consider it and make a few additional options that made every idea better. We loved her creativity! I had several unique ideas, like using memory photo charms and the lace from my christening gown in my bridal bouquet, and personalized photo charms for every one of my bridesmaid bouquets and in the three mother corsages. They turned out fantastic and resulted in the perfect amount of tears from my loved ones who now have a great keepsake. We met with Laurie three times in person, including once in the parking lot of my tanning vendor where she kindly met me to pick up my photo charms. In terms of flexibility and customer service, you won't possibly find better. She also did really clever things like an adorable ring bearer boutonniere, gorgeous touches in the groom boutonniere, and adorable flower girl bouquets. When my guest list went down from 150 to 105, which wasn't too surprising given 98% were traveling and I'm military, some vendors were difficult to work with on adjusting. Not Laurie at all! She used the flowers we'd ordered for the extra guest tables to make three gorgeous head table centerpieces, and other amazing touches we'd cut out due to budget.

I live in California but my wedding was all the in Rhode Island. You can imagine the headache in planning a destination wedding; I heavily relied on reviews on yelp, the knot...etc. We hired Laurie after reading the great reviews she received online but also because I discovered that she made flowers for a different couple who had their wedding at the same location I had my wedding. Laurie was super easy to work with. We communicated via phone and email and she truly helped me feel comfortable about my choice of flowers throughout the entire planning process. I sent her a few pictures of what I wanted and she well exceeded what I showed her.
The details in how she decorated the flowers was absolutely phenomenal. We LOVED the flowers. (I wish it was possible to keep my bouquet frozen or alive for a year!) Anyway, on the day of the wedding, she showed up well in time to decorate the chapel and the reception area. Everyone raved about the flowers and her price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend Laurie to anyone intending to have their wedding in the New England area.

I could not say enough good things about Laurie and the beautiful flowers that she provided for our April wedding! She understood my vision and followed through with all of my ideas. She also provided candles and table numbers that completed the look that I envisioned. So many of our guests praised all the different small, large, short, and tall flower arrangements around our reception and ceremony location. Thank you so much for making our wedding so beautiful!

I have known Laurie for some time and when it came to our wedding I didn't speak to anyone else, I knew for years she was going to be my girl. She worked within our budget creating a stunning ceremony and center pieces that people are still talking about. I only wish I delayed my honeymoon so I could have enjoyed them for longer too! She took my inspiration and made it a reality. She is also very creative and brought some amazing ideas to the table that executed flawlessly. The flowers lasted 2 weeks after the event allowing everyone to enjoy them for longer. So easy to work with and I cannot brag about this woman enough!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Laurie Marshall! We knew after speaking with her and seeing her portfolio, she was the one for our April 2014 wedding at The Towers in Narragansett. Laurie was always available to talk and meet, and had great ideas to capture my vision for the flowers. Laurie understood our budget and still was able to give us everything we wanted! We could not be happier with how beautiful they looked, especially our cascading centerpiece on our sweetheart table!

She understood our vision for the flowers and did an amazing job executing every detail from my bouquet and the bridesmaid’s bouquets, down to the flowers hanging from the pews and windows. Thank you Laurie for making the flowers and centerpieces at our day everything we could imagine and the talk of our guests!

I wish there were 100 stars to rate Laurie Marshall Flowers -- but that still wouldn't be enough! Reading what the other reviewers wrote, I feel the exact same way!

From the beginning, Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to what we wanted and the ideas I had, but also shared helpful knowledge of different flowers/colors/etc. based on the season. I was so happy I listened to her because the flowers she used were beautiful and did not wilt at all. We even used a lot of the centerpieces at the brunch the next morning, and they still looked perfect!

I will never forget the moment when Laurie arrived with the bouquets on our wedding day, it was truly like stepping into a dream. They were more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined! And then arriving at the reception later in the day was another amazing surprise -- there were beautiful flowers everywhere. I received so many compliments on the flowers throughout the day, in fact, my guests are still commenting how they were the most gorgeous wedding flowers they've ever seen!

Laurie is truly talented and knowledgeable. I wish we could do the wedding weekend over again so I could see the gorgeous flowers just one more time!

I highly recommend Laurie if you are getting married in the area. She will go above and beyond and make your special day magical!

Laurie made our wedding a dream come true. She went above and beyond with the flowers and bringing together the entire look of the wedding. It would not have been nearly as fabulous and gorgeous without her.

My wedding flowers were straight out of a scene on My fair wedding with David Tutera. Laurie Marshall is extremely talented and provided me with the flowers of my dreams. I asked for an all white bouquet that was big enough to break my arm and she gave me just that (although my arm was in tact at the end of the night)! Laurie set up the most beautiful display at my wedding reception, the compliments have not stopped flowing! Laurie provides exceptional value and I would recommend her to anyone, she was able to provide me with everything I asked for all while staying within my budget. We cannot thank her enough! I am not usually the type of person to score someone as perfect on a review, HOWEVER, Laurie is beyond wonderful at what she does. She does not only provide fresh, unique and personalized bouquets and arrangements, but she creates a comfortable and personable relationship with you as a person, a bride, a groom, etc. She asks questions, keeps in contact and is always up-to-date with new and innovative ideas. She is accommodating, helpful and passionate about her job, which is turn is her forte in life. I could not have imagined our wedding day without Laurie's personal touches. She and her flowers were the finishing touch to our wedding and we feel beyond blessed and grateful to her for everything she has done for us.

I cannot say enough about Laurie, her flowers, her creativity, punctuality, and value of product. Not only does Laurie pride herself on completely fresh flowers, arrangements, and bouquets, but she dedicates herself on the importance of overall quality. She was more than accessible; we were always in contact with one another, sharing ideas, thoughts and concepts.

Most importantly, Laurie is personable. Working in the wedding industry can hinder a professional's sincerity on the importance of a bride and groom's wedding day. She never forgets the significance of marriage, which is exhibited in her one of a kind floral arrangements. I have referred her to many friends and she never ceases to amaze.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience dealing with Laurie. We were looking for a vintage feel to the flowers and she nailed our vision spot on. The flowers she provided were of the highest quality and freshness. In fact, the flowers we brought home lasted over a week for us to enjoy. I can't begin to express how vital Laurie was in creating our picture perfect wedding! With little direction, (because I wholeheartedly trusted her abilities) she created not only beautiful floral designs but added touches that were everything we could have hoped for. Laurie Marshall did an absolutely amazing job! I had a 200+ wedding at a private home on Ocean Drive in August. Not being from R.I., I was a little overwhelmed with selecting vendors and I am grateful for finding Laurie! Before the wedding, we met once and she really listened to my vision and suggested flowers that were in my color scheme and in season. She was very knowledgeable and stayed within my budget. Everything she created was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She went above and beyond to help make the day special. I would highly recommend her.

Laurie did an absolutely amazing job on the flowers for our wedding. I gave her a base idea of what I was looking for an let her make suggestions and do what she thought would look the best as she has far more experience than I do ! The arrangements were breathtaking - the bouquets arrived right on time and were beautiful. Love that she had us do a spare bouquet for tossing so mine didn't get ruined. Lovely !

Loved every bloom and branch!

Laurie was absolutely wonderful to work with when planning the floral for our wedding! All I knew was my budget, I wanted a lot of baby's breath, greenery, and white flowers, and absolutely NO ROSES. Laurie just got it, I sent her just a couple pictures and my Mother in Law collected blue and white china pieces for the vases and Laurie worked her magic. The floral was 100% everything I wanted. There was a chance of rain for the day of our wedding, so Laurie and I stayed in touch to make sure our outdoor ceremony plans would stay the same, she waited to make the floral for the ceremony until we were confident in the location, it would have been two different designs depending on location, and it was perfect.
It should also be said, the floral lasted a VERY long time, we came back from our honeymoon and still had living flowers in their vases a week later!
Thank you Laurie, we loved every bloom and branch!

The wedding took place at a lovely, but old boat club on the water. The venue is old, and a bit worn, but the setting is beautiful. The flowers integrated really well, and transformed the room to fit the outdoor setting.
Personal flowers and bouquets were so unique and very fresh; standing up to a very sunny hot afternoon.
The warm and personal service added to the professionalism of Laurie and her team.
