Laurie was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond in every way. she sent Nate and I detailed questionnaires (separately) which allowed us to both share our individual perspectives on our relationship. We weren’t allowed to share our answers with one another at first which made the entire process so much fun and meaningful.
Laurie took the time to truly understand us as individuals and as a couple. She put together a ceremony that was so intentional, personal and authentic. It was so far from generic because it really told the entire story of our relationship which felt so special.
She walked us through every single step of the whole process, from who’s walking down the aisle, who’s sitting where to helping me take the right steps in changing my name! She made Nate and I feel supported and prepared for our big day.
On our wedding day, Laurie delivered the ceremony flawlessly. Afterward, our guests could not stop talking about how amazing she was — how perfect she was at telling our story.
Laurie was truly born for this. Her warmth, excitement, and gift for storytelling made our ceremony unforgettable. I would recommend her time and time again without hesitation!

Laurie was absolutely incredible as our officiant. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process. She created a ceremony that felt so personal, intimate, and perfectly “us.”
Her presence was calming, warm, and professional, and she truly helped make our wedding day feel magical and meaningful. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and heartfelt the ceremony was.

The best of the best!
THANK YOU LAURIE!!!!! We are so grateful to have found Laurie about 6 months before our ceremony at Beach House in Anna Maria Island. From the jump, she was extremely kind and professional. After one phone call and a look at her beautiful website - I knew that she was the perfect match for our event.
Pros:
- Extremely organized, very timely and an excellent communicator: Laurie kept me on track with writing the ceremony, making edits, filing for the marriage license and following up after our ceremony to make sure all the paperwork made it to us. I am a procrastinator to my core and without Laurie I certainly would have fallen behind. She takes care of everything and talks you thru every step along the way.
- Very personal: Laurie sent us a questionnaire about 4 months prior to the wedding with detailed questions about our relationship. She took our answers and crafted a deeply personal, and perfectly balanced ceremony script. We elected not to write our own vows but her ceremony style gave the similar impact without the pressure that custom vows can put on a couple. She is in the camp of celebrants who believe that the couple should know the ceremony script prior to the day of which helped us keep our composure during the extremely emotional moment.
- Professional as can be! My family was blown away at the ceremony rehearsal when Laurie knew all of their names and guided us flawlessly thru our practicing. She was always on time and always on point. We had considered having a friend or loved one preform our ceremony but there is so much value in hiring a professional!
- Flexible & knowledgeable: We wanted to incorporate the "warming or blessing of the rings" into our ceremony. It was something we had never experienced before but Laurie walked us and our guests thru the blessing and it turned out wonderful! Her expertise was exactly what we needed.
- Your guests will love her! We had so, so, so many compliments on Laurie as the celebrant. Our guests made several comments about how beautiful the ceremony was and how amazing our officiant was.

Awesome April Wedding
We were so fortunate to have chosen Laurie as our efficient. From our first conversation on we knew she was the one. She told our love story as if she were right there with us as it blossomed. She takes great pride in gathering the details and presenting them. Laurie speaks in a heartfelt fashion with warmth and sincerity. Her professionalism is second to none. She processed and submitted our legal documents to the County. We feel she went above and beyond the call of duty and we are extremely satisfied. We highly recommend her for your wedding ceremony, she is a gem.

We initially spoke with a few other officiants (all highly recommended), but none felt like the right fit. The moment we found Laurie and connected with her over the phone, we instantly knew she was the one. Her process felt completely unique and deeply personal from the start.
Laurie had each of us complete thoughtful questionnaires individually, allowing her to truly understand our story from both perspectives. We loved this approach - not only did it help her capture us so authentically, but the questionnaires themselves have become something we’ll cherish and look back on forever.
She writes each ceremony from scratch, and when we received our first draft, we were absolutely blown away. She captured our story so beautifully and perfectly. It was an incredibly emotional moment for us both.
On the wedding day, Laurie arrived looking elegant and composed, bringing such a calming, warm presence. What meant even more to us was learning afterward that she had gone out of her way to learn several sentences in French, my husband’s and his family’s first language. Such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture.
The ceremony itself was absolutely perfect. Many, many "happy tears" were shed. We had so many guests tell us it was the best ceremony, and best officiant, they had ever witnessed and experienced. Many even asked if Laurie was a close family member because of how personal and intimate it felt.

I highly recommend Laurie to any couple looking for an officiant. She was extremely organized, communicative, and greatly reduced my stress. She kept us updated throughout the whole process. I loved working with her on the ceremony, and she incorporated things that made the ceremony more *us* throughout. She did an amazing job with our handfasting ceremony and helped with the logistics of getting our license, and took care of mailing it in and tracking it. Our experience was wonderful. Wouldn’t want anyone else as an Officiant
Laurie was incredible from when we signed a contract 18 months ago and even after our wedding now. She went above and beyond the title of her job because she actually cares. She was very knowledgeable and invested into our relationship to give us the best outcome for being the officiant. She showed up day before wedding and also showed up early day of wedding to make sure our day was perfect. She did a non-denominational ceremony and it was lovely where she asked us questions months ago (which made it fun as we wrote letters to each other) and added these things into the ceremony. Laurie was an absolutely phenomenal officiant. Just over a month before our wedding, we unexpectedly had to find someone new, and we were incredibly fortunate that Laurie was available — and willing — to step in on such an expedited timeline.
From the very beginning, the entire process was seamless. Laurie was flexible, warm, and incredibly responsive, thoughtfully incorporating every detail we wanted to include. Her approach to crafting the ceremony felt completely tailored to us. It was clear she invested real time and care into getting to know our story — this wasn’t a generic template, but something deeply personal and meaningful.
On the wedding day, her delivery was heartfelt and genuine. We could truly feel the emotion she brought to the ceremony, and it made the moment even more special. So many of our guests told us how beautifully she captured our relationship and how much they loved the ceremony.

Joey Sent on 02/17/2026So many people said “That was the most beautiful wedding ceremony we’ve ever been a part of.” Laurie was absolutely the biggest factor in that!
Laurie made our wedding ceremony so incredibly special!! Initially my wife and I wanted to have an officiant that we knew personally. We decided to go with a professional, but we were worried the ceremony wouldn’t feel like us. We talked to a few different celebrants on the phone, but when we talked to Laurie, we immediately knew she was the one. Her calming energy and positivity was exactly what we were looking for.
During the wedding planning process Laurie checked in with us, had a few phone calls, and really took the time to get to know us. We filled out a questionnaire and a few weeks later, she sent us the draft to our ceremony. My wife and I started bawling the first time we read it. We couldn’t believe Laurie had taken so much thought into writing a beautiful ceremony. My wife is a former English teacher and it takes a lot to impress her, so that should say something (haha). We proceeded to make edits to the ceremony until it was perfected to our liking.
On the wedding day, Laurie was a calming presence to the both of us, which was very much appreciated given the nature of a wedding day. As the ceremony proceeded, Laurie spoke with confidence and intention. She gave our guests a better scope of our relationship from the way we see it. So many people said “That was the most beautiful wedding ceremony we’ve ever been a part of.” Laurie was absolutely the biggest factor in that. Amazing Officiant! Laurie is so great!
Laurie was amazing from start to finish! The first call was great, she is super easy to chat with and we talked like we knew each other. From there, she followed up and helped us stay on a good timeline. We are not the best emailers and she was super helpful with the nicest reminders lol. She worked with us to draft a great ceremony and was super nice about any little change we wanted to make. We planned from out of state and that wasn’t a problem at all! Meeting her in person was spot on for the same bubbly and sweet personality that we had experienced through phone and email! Our friends and family loved her and our ceremony! We loved having her throughout the wedding process and really loved our ceremony thanks to her! I would 10/10 recommend laurie for anyone’s wedding. We had the absolute privilege of having Laurie as our celebrant for our wedding on June 22nd, 2025! I knew from my first call with Laurie that she was the one! Laurie recommended us having calls with a few different officiants before making our decision to make sure we were making the absolute best decision for us, and if that doesn’t show how much Laurie cares about each couple she comes across, I’m not sure what would! Laurie was amazing through the entire process from getting to know us as a couple, putting energy and love into telling our story, and ensuring our wedding guests felt the love on our special day. We were a destination wedding and it was important for us to keep our ceremony outside (rain or shine) and Laurie was EXTREMELY flexible when we were given news that there was a good chance of rain during our outdoor ceremony. She adapted and still was able to convey our entire ceremony seamlessly and beautifully as the rain came down during our vows and last few minutes of ceremony. We truly, from the bottom of our hearts could not recommend Laurie more. Our family, wedding party, and guests had nothing but amazing things to say about Laurie and my husband and I are so happy everyone else saw what we saw in Laurie from day 1. Not only was she apart of the biggest day of our lives, but we know that Laurie will always be apart of our lives and our story in the future. I lucked out finding Laurie by a simple google search. My husband and I decided to tweak our initial Pennsylvania wedding plan to a simple, intimate Siesta Key elopement with just our two children. Laurie was immediately responsive to my request and to our absolute joy, available to do our sunset ceremony! She then continued to guide and support us through the whole process. From getting to know us more personally with questionnaires, providing steps and links for obtaining our marriage license, to meeting us in person before the big day, Laurie was the very best! Unforgettable!
Amidst all of the planning, invites, vendors, colors, flowers, family and all manner of wedding chaos, Laurie was our rock. The personification of love and sincerity, it’s quite possible that she was more excited for our marriage than even Mary and I were (….only slight hyperbole).
From the ease of the pre-ceremony planning, the sheer joy of the ceremony itself, and her proactive direction with all of the resulting name-change and marriage license details, Laurie was a joy to work with.

Laurie was absolutely amazing! Once we had our initial phone call with Laurie we knew she was the perfect choice for our big day. Laurie was such a dream to work with. From our first phone call, my fiancé and I locked eyes in a way that nodded to 'yes'. We knew right away she was going to officiate our wedding. Laurie is so sweet and kind. Her forté is writing personalized vows to tell your story. We are more on the private side and asked her to keep it short and sweet to our style, and she worked with us to create exactly what we wanted. Laurie showed up early to our rehearsal and our wedding. She was extremely reliable, responsive, and well spoken. The ceremony went perfectly. She thinks of the smallest details, even stepping away before she said, "You may now kiss the bride" so that she wouldn't be in the photographer's shot. From our first phone call all the way to the wedding day, she kept constant contact, delivered promptly on her timelines, and kept the process very collaborative while also providing the guiding expertise you want in an officiant. My new husband and I are pretty quiet people who mostly keep to ourselves. We are not public speakers. When we got engaged, the one part of getting married that we were worried about was our ceremony. We got so lucky when we found Laurie. Let me tell you, choosing Laurie was the best decision we made throughout the wedding process! Laurie is unlike any other celebrant. She was the most professional, put together, knowledgeable, and personable vendor we spoke to. Usually when you go to weddings, the ceremony is the most dragged out/boring part, but not at ours. Laurie told our story, filled our guest in on our personalities and shared some of our future goals. Our friends & family couldn’t get over her story telling capabilities. One person said “she didn’t even stutter, not once”. Another friend said “I barely saw her look down at the paper, it was like she was telling a story, straight off of memory”. Aside from the incredible ceremony she put together, the steps leading up to the wedding is what really blew us away. I threw together my small, intimate ceremony in a little over 2 months. I found Laurie by Googling wedding officiants in Siesta Key, and BOY did we hit the JACKPOT!! Not only did Laurie make our ceremony so personal to us and our love story, but she went above and beyond to help us with all the steps involved with getting married (i.e. marriage license, how to write your own vows, how to change your name, what vendors I could use/how I could find them). We streamed and recorded our ceremony for family and friends back in CT where we live, and Laurie has gotten rave reviews from all viewers! They were all amazed at how perfectly she told our love story-the ceremony was truly about us & our love. Amazing Officiant!!
Laurie did an amazing job from start to finish. She sent us multiple drafts of the ceremony to make sure it was perfect for us and put a lot of time into making it a very personal ceremony. After the wedding she sent us a nice packet with our vows, marriage certificate, and ceremony for our keepsake. Hire her!!
Laurie was amazing from day 1. I booked her 11 months in advance because I knew that our wedding date, 2.22.22, was going to be busy in Siesta Key & it definitely was! She makes sure when she’s writing your ceremony that it’s exactly how you want it to be. Because we’re from Michigan & we would be traveling 1400 miles, I debated on a few different locations & she went out on her own time to send us videos of each location I debated on & I LOVED that about her. She truly cares about your day. On the day of our wedding, our ceremony spot was taken an hour before our wedding was supposed to start so she helped move our guests further down on the beach & communicated with me every minute up until the ceremony. She’s literally so flexible & “goes with the flow” & that’s exactly what I needed in an officiant because again, being out of towners, we knew something wasn’t going to go to plan. Absolutely incredible!
Laurie was absolutely incredible! She created a ceremony for me and my husband that was so personal and heartfelt, sharing our love story with all of our family and friends. The ceremony was so memorable and we received so many compliments from our family and friends, being told it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. Laurie had worked with me and my husband leading up to the wedding to create the perfect ceremony for us. She was very responsive and always just an email away for any questions we had. She used a questionnaire that my husband and I both answered separately to being our love story to life from both of our perspectives. She was also very flexible with me and my husband, especially if we needed more time to work on the questionnaire or our vows. She was also so helpful in assisting with how to write vows and how to obtain our marriage license! She is even sending us a keepsake copy of our ceremony, which will be so nice to have. I couldn't imagine having had anyone else officiate our wedding. From our first conversation over the phone, I knew Laurie was the right match for us and would recommend her 1000 times over! -

We just celebrated our 20th anniversary and decided to renew our vows on the beach in Naples, FL at sunset. Laurie created the most beautiful and meaningful ceremony for us. We were very lucky to have found Laurie as an officiant for our wedding in Indian Rocks Beach, FL in April 2021. We are from Wisconsin and wanted to get married on the beach so we were planning our wedding from out of state. Laurie was so responsive with all of our questions and super accommodating!! She wrote our whole ceremony using a questionnaire that we filled out so it felt very special and super personalized. She sent several drafts to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. All of our guests said they loved that our ceremony was so unique to us and that they had happy tears the whole time. We had a larger wedding party so wanted to do a wedding rehearsal the night before and she was totally accommodating and did really well instructing our large group. Where do I even begin..Laurie was absolutely incredible. She helped guide me every step of the way. I planned our elopement in a month & a half, it was very small but any questions I had concerning the ceremony, our license, other vendors, etc, Laurie was there to help. She was so kind & upbeat, happy, she really made me feel so special & I could tell how invested she was in our wedding. The morning of our ceremony, we met for coffee & I felt like I had known her for years. She wrote a beautiful reading/vows & did an amazing job. It was so intimate & perfect. She even included our two best friends in the ceremony & they as well felt like they had known her forever. She gave us a copy of our ceremony & our questionnaire answers in a folder with her special touch. Something I will treasure forever & will look back on to remember our beautiful day. Wedding with Laurie
If I only had one word to use to describe Laurie it would be INCREDIBLE. She helped us plan our wedding in 10 days on the beach at Siesta Key. She gave us the questionnaires and with our answers wrote the most beautiful vows that couldn’t have represented our feelings for each other any better as if she knew us for years. She found the spot on the beach doing her own drive around and found the best parking for our family. She gave us the most meaningful ideas for our wedding and incorporated everything we wanted. Her personal experiences brought so much into our wedding. Every time I sent her a message or email she responded almost immediately. Her joy and happiness for us showed when she read our vows. She kept us all calm when our family was running late. She came to the hotel where I was getting ready to make sure I didn’t have any other questions and that all was well. She directed us with all of the paperwork and took care of submitting the license for us. Laurie THANK YOU for making our wedding day beautiful smooth and left us with complete joy and happiness. -

We feel so lucky to have found Laurie. I joke that other than my husband Laurie was the best decision I made ;) She is everything one could want in an officiant. She listened to our wants and desires then even had her own input which paralleled our vision.
