I’ve been holding off on this review because I honestly don’t know what to say. Laurie is just absolutely incredible. Our guests are still raving about the beauty and love portrayed throughout our ceremony. Everyone assumed Laurie was a member of our family because of the passion and joy she brought to the day!! Working with Laurie was a pleasure, together we worked and reworked the ceremony until we felt it was perfect. The entire process was so much fun for my husband and I, it allowed us to revisit so many of our old memories! Family and friends commented that they learned so much about our relationship from the stories that Laurie worked into our ceremony. The amount of work that Laurie puts into each couple is mind boggling, she truly commits herself to her couples and it shows in the final product. If you want the most incredible and special ceremony, not only for you but for your guests, you need to stop reading reviews and call Laurie right now! The Perfect Sailboat Ceremony
Me and my Husband did a sailboat elopement ceremony and had Laurie do our ceremony for us. She was PHENOMENAL. She took so much time getting to know us and really personalize our ceremony to make it special. She was always very responsive and flexible for us. We loved working with Laurie as our officiant! Laurie was very detailed as far as every aspect of our ceremony. She provided a questionnaire to both my husband and I to complete to assist her in writing our ceremony. She handled all of the details from there, including adding some religious aspects. Additionally, Laurie gave guidance on how to write our own personal vows which was incredibly helpful. We honestly couldn’t imagine our day without Laurie. All of our guests commented on how beautiful our ceremony was and how great of a speaker Laurie was. If you are considering booking her, do it.Laurie Chandler Celebrant's reply:

Such an amazing experience Laurie provided for our special day. She is organized, professional, extremely personable, and her communication skills are absolutely stellar. Not to mention, her friendly demeanor makes you feel so comfortable on a very happy yet potentially stressful day. Pre Wedding preparation, She goes out of her way to make sure to include everything that is important to you, to be included in the ceremony. Being from out of state, she provided so much information about the proper paperwork needed, so we were well prepared on our wedding day During the actual ceremony, she interacted with everyone, and made us all feel special. She has an amazing ability to speak very clear, while projecting a joyful aura. After our wedding day, she provided so much detail on the follow up process of changing the brides last name and other details that will be helpful. I can’t stress enough how amazing Laurie is. Absolutely fantastic officiant!!
Wow, Laurie is so amazing at her craft! We were so lucky to have met her and chosen her to officiate our small, intimate wedding of 25 guests. Every step of the way she made it so easy and romantic! Our ceremony was so very personal to our story and everyone at our celebration told us she did a phenomenal job at telling it. Our families were surprised to learn we had only met Laurie 5 months prior, and yet she knew us so well and could speak about us as if we had been life long friends. What an amazing ceremony thanks to Laurie! She made our ceremony feel perfect! We hired Laurie to be our wedding officiant and would do it over and over again! Laurie was incredibly knowledgable about the wedding ceremony and helped us with everything leading up to it. We wanted someone to officiate that we felt told our story in a personal way, and Laurie did that and more! She really helped with so much when it came to planning the ceremony and relieved so much stress on that side! Laurie made our wedding PERFECT!
Laurie was the absolute best choice we made hiring vendors for our wedding. From our first phone call all the way to the wedding day, she kept constant contact, delivered promptly on her timelines, and kept the process very collaborative while also providing the guiding expertise you want in an officiant. She wrote our entire ceremony and was very receptive to tweaks/suggestions, wanting to make sure it was curated perfectly for us as a couple. She has the couple fill out an extensive questionnaire so she can make the ceremony very personalized and unique. She makes the effort to learn your family names — she even took a moment at our rehearsal to share with my mom some of the things I had written about her in the questionnaire, and it was a very emotional moment. We had the pleasure of having Laurie officiate Our Wedding! One of the best decisions we made in vendors. She is very informative and responsive. My new husband and I are pretty quiet people who mostly keep to ourselves. We are not public speakers. When we got engaged, the one part of getting married that we were worried about was our ceremony. We got so lucky when we found Laurie. She somehow managed to take a few very non-descriptive sentences and turn them into an absolutely beautiful love story. I don’t know how she was able to write a ceremony that spoke so perfectly to us, but she did it. I’ve been to a few weddings before, and I know a lot of guests are usually just waiting for the ceremony to end to get on to the party, but not this time. After the ceremony, my guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was and how Laurie had managed to find so many perfect details to put into the ceremony that fit our specific story. I am so grateful to Laurie for being a part of our wedding. It wouldn’t have been the same without her. Let me tell you, choosing Laurie was the best decision we made throughout the wedding process! Laurie is unlike any other celebrant. She was the most professional, put together, knowledgeable, and personable vendor we spoke to. Usually when you go to weddings, the ceremony is the most dragged out/boring part, but not at ours. Laurie told our story, filled our guest in on our personalities and shared some of our future goals. Our friends & family couldn’t get over her story telling capabilities. One person said “she didn’t even stutter, not once”. Another friend said “I barely saw her look down at the paper, it was like she was telling a story, straight off of memory”. Aside from the incredible ceremony she put together, the steps leading up to the wedding is what really blew us away. Laurie was extremely detail oriented, helped us with our marriage license, and communicative. Last but not least, she looked the part. She came to the rehearsal, and wedding dressed to impressed, and we LOVED that. I would recommend Laurie to anyone & everyone who’s getting married. Perfect Ceremony!
Laurie wrote an amazing, personalized ceremony for me and my husband. She worked with us from across the country, meeting over FaceTime and listening to our story. She was so helpful with our wedding license, and she sent us helpful resources along the way. Months later, I still get compliments about our ceremony from friends and family.
