Delicious food, phenomenal pricing, quality service!

We used Laurenda's for our wedding and it was fantastic! From our initial consultation to eating at our wedding, we were highly satisfied with our food service and blown away with the quality we received for the cost of services. When we went for our consultation, we instantly had a feel for the small family restaurant. Then, we took a bite of their food and we were sold on using them for our wedding as their food is delicious. Laurenda's took care of the food, linens, china, water goblets, silverware, and buffet table floral arrangement. We received so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was! We had a semi-formal wedding and served BBQ, mac and cheese, potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls, and cheese biscuits. Our guests, my husband, and myself absolutely loved all of the food and were impressed with the quality of service from Laurenda's on the day of our wedding. Thank you!!

Amazing Service & Delicious Food!!!

Laurenda’s Crew was amazing to work with! Amber & Chad were so helpful & thoughtful throughout our wedding planning & the day of our wedding! They were great at communication & the most caring group of folks!!! I absolutely love Laurenda’s Restaurant & now I love love love their catering! I will definitely use Laurenda’s Catering in the future!!

Absolutely Amazing

The entire staff at Laurenda’s has been the most amazing group of people that I have had the joy of meeting. Every single detail was executed by Laurenda’s for my daughter’s wedding and the food was absolutely amazing. I am so grateful for everything that was done by the staff of Laurenda’s in making sure that my daughter’s wedding day was a spectacular day by providing the most amazing food. Amazed by everything

I was absolutely amazed by the ease of everything. From selecting the food to clean up every step of the way was covered. They were prompt and extremely professional when it came to the big day. The food was amazing and hot and there was plenty of it. No one left hungry. The cake was fabulous. So friendly and professional. They kept it going. The presentation was impeccable and matched our colors. You will not be disappointed

Quality Food and Amazing Service

From the food to the service to overall value, they were top notch! They helped us build our perfect menu. We changed our minds between the first meeting and our first tasting and they were nothing but accommodating. Their packages include items other places wanted to nickel and dime for. Even made sure their setup matched the rest of the wedding theme. Amber was most helpful and communicative. My groom and I opted for a private dinner and by the time we were back in the reception space for our first dance the crew already had all plates and trash cleaned up! Friendly and efficient.

Amazing food & service!!!

We absolutely loved having Laurenda’s cater at our wedding! They were highly recommended so we did our tasting and was SO impressed. Amber and her team were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better! The guest were raving over the food! We HIGHLY recommend for your next event!!!

Southern Style

Laurenda’s catering was spectacular!! Everyone of the staff members were just so polite and helpful, Laurenda herself cooked the food for our tasting. The southern style buffet with fried chicken, mac and cheese, squash casserole, green beans , and a few other delicious southern sides!!! Amber was very kind and helpful with getting everything set up for our big day!! Amber and Chad and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job from day one through our wedding day!!! Highly recommend this place, just go by on a Sunday lunch and you will see what the fuss is all about !!!!

Outstanding Service and Food

I could not have asked for a better caterer for my wedding in April, 2021. They did an outstanding job from the food to the table decorations that matched the rest of the décor. All of the servers were so pleasant, and Alyssa was SO easy to work with. She made all of the nerves go away leading up to the big day. I would highly recommend Laurenda's for anyone's big day!!!

Amazing Prices, Amazing Taste, Amazing People

This is one of the sweetest companies we worked with at our wedding. They were referred by my florist. Upon going to their restaurant I was truly impressed. However, you cannot judge their catering work based on this. They put all their time and money into making catering something upscale and special. They have so many food options! We did BBQ a whole pig! It smelled, looked, and tasted soooo good! This vendors prices are unbeatable. They also throw in flower arrangements for their tables! And FULL SERVICE CLEAN UP!! Wow! They were so sweet, and didn’t make me worry one time.

Amazing Experience!

The venue that was contracted for my daughter’s wedding closed unexpectedly one week beforehand leaving us without a venue or service. Laurenda’s catering not only was able to accommodate us on short notice but the apps and food were amazing. Standouts were the pimento cheese app w/ bacon jam, the spinach dip app, the marinated chicken breasts, prime rib with bearnaise and the roasted potatoes. We had so many compliments from guests on the food. Thank you Chad!

I can’t even say enough about the fabulous experience we had with Laurenda’s !
The food was probably the best I have ever had. The guests at our wedding celebration just raved about the food and how delicious it was.
The staff was so very kind and caring yet professional in every way. They always responded promptly to questions .... and I had several!
They were clean and the decorations that came along with the food were so elegant.
They were also very efficient- they cleaned everything up so well and did so in such a timely manner.
I have highly recommended them to many and will continue to do so!

Super people! Delicious Food!

We are so happy we chose Laurenda's to cater our wedding. The decorations they brought for the buffet tables were lovely. The food was absolutely amazing and the people were super helpful, they even offered to help us watch our dog for a bit. For cocktail hour we had their pretzel bar which was a big hit! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and they were very understanding and flexible. Would definitely choose them again!

Highly Recommended

Laurenda's Catering went above and beyond to make my wedding perfect. With having to change the date and protocol due to COVID-19, they reassured me that everything would still remain safe and go according to plan. All the food was incredible,. I highly recommend the biscuits with strawberry butter and their vegetable lasagna. All the worked were professional and caring. Thank you so much!

From day one, Laurenda's was everything we could have asked for and more! We wanted the food at our wedding to reflect our personalities, and they nailed it! Their options/offerings are literally endless, and we were able to customize a perfect menu to fit our needs. Their staff was extremely friendly and thorough, and their presentation was beautiful and flowed perfectly with our wedding decor. Their reputation throughout the upstate and within the local community is immeasurable, as is their quality and service.

Best Decision!!

We couldn’t have chosen a better caterer for our wedding! Laurenda, Alyssa, and Chad were so easy to work with and helped us put together exactly what we wanted for our menu. Chad was so helpful in offering suggestions and including special items we wanted to have. They were so sweet and treated us like family throughout the process. Everyone kept saying how delicious everything was and it was such a nice touch to have the picnic basket to go at the end of the night! Perfect and delicious

I had the pleasure of working with Laurenda and her team for both my rehearsal dinner and my reception. Both experiences were perfect and my guests couldn’t help but go back for more. They were amazing!!

At a wedding, the thing a guest cares most about is the food they are going to eat, and we wanted to make sure that we got the best of the best! Laurenda's staff was incredible to work with, inviting us to their restaurant where we got to try plate after plate of different food options, working within our budget to create an amazing menu, and creating a beautiful display during our wedding reception. As soon as we met Laurenda we knew we would be in good hands, and we could not have asked for anything more! They even packed a picnic basket for my husband and I to enjoy once we got back to the hotel room after the reception, and finally getting to slow down and enjoy the full meal together was one of our highlights from the entire day! Laurenda's Catering is THE best bang for your buck. The most incredible food and most amazing people providing service. We worked with the chef, Chad, throughout the taste testing process and he tailored the menu to exactly what our preferences were and to match our budget. He was there to make the food and serve on our wedding day. He was so kind to our family and our guests, which we appreciated so much. We received so many compliments about the delicious food and the kind staff who came to serve with Chad. We couldn't have dreamed with going with any other caterers!

Laurenda's Catering - Delicious and Delightful

Laurenda's Catering did appetizer service and full dinner buffet for my daughter's wedding. From the tasting through to clean up after the reception - I cannot say enough good things about the people at Laurenda's.....and the food is wonderful. When was the last time you heard people rave about chicken at a wedding? Our guests did - it was so tasty and moist that our guests could not get over how good it was and spoke of it more than the filet! And the creamed corn is to die for literally. Chad, Alyssa and Laurenda were great to work with - took their time, replied to all our questions, offered suggestions when we were stuck and most of all - gave us an amazing night within our budget! We are super grateful and I would definitely recommend them again. Good - honest - God loving people.....they are family now!

Exactly like a cherished holiday meal and family gathering!

Laurenda's catering was the hit of our pre-wedding reception. We had Laurenda cater dinner for 112 at our home in Clinton, SC on March 2, 2019. We had a southern menu for all our out of state guests. She made our family recipe for low country boil to perfection - the father of the bride had three helpings. Plus fried chicken, salad, rice pilaf, sweet tea, unsweet tea, and then homemade individual pecan pies and individual peach pies. Our guests were eating one of each and then having a second pecan. The pies were a hit. The pieces of chicken were huge. No one went hungry. Everything tasted fantastic. I had wanted to make one item for the evening so that I could feel like I made dinner, but in my wedding crunch time, I forgot to make cornbread for the event. So day of last minute Laurenda and her staff brought bread to go along with the meal! Her staff was incredible. They showed up exactly when they said they would - even though they had never catered at our house. Her team was so professional - the newness of the setting didn't phase. They set everything up with plenty of time to spare before guest arrived. They helped our guests with the buffet flow in the kitchen, they refilled, were never in the way, they cleared dishes so our families could keep talking and laughing. At the end they cleaned, washed personal dishes I had wanted used, and even took the trash as they left. I couldn't have be happier. The evening was a complete success. The setting made the bride and groom really comfortable to meet and greet with family and long time friends. Having Laurenda cater made it so that as the mother and father of the bride we could really mix and mingle with our guests. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. We are a family that likes to sit around the holiday tables and eat and laugh and then eat and laugh some more. Laurenda made this exactly like all those cherished holiday meals where families bond and memories are made. This was a truly one of a kind special meal and we couldn't have done it without Laurenda.

Laurenda's is the best!

I would highly recommend Laurenda's for any of your catering needs! I have 3 daughter's and she has done 2 of their weddings and will be doing the 3rd wedding in May! She even did the wedding cake! Very professional, prompt and reasonably priced. The food is delicious!!! We also go to her restaurant regularly, you can't beat the Sunday lunch!!

They are amazing

Laurenda's Catering is a family owned business that initially attracted us due to the significant amount of services they provided. They provide their own decorations according to your color scheme, their own linens, and additional food for the officiant, DJ, photographer, and any staff at the wedding. Beyond this, they were the kindest and most attentive people. They went as far as to check on my husband and I during the reception as well as to let us know that we are welcome to pack up any left over food we may want. If you are considering Laurenda's, I would encourage you to at least talk to them.

Everyone raved about it

One of the things we could the most compliments on besides our appearance and the venue was the FOOD. Everyone LOVED the food that Laurenda served and how beautiful they made the buffet table look! As most brides and grooms are spoken to and can’t eat much during the reception, Laurenda packed us a to-go basket with food in it! She was so sweet and made the process of choosing food so easy! 10/10 recommend♥️♥️

Laurenda’s Family Restaurant and Catering

Scheduled a meeting and Mrs. Laurenda & Chad we’re prompt. The tasting was great and I mean they had a spread for you. But most importantly they make you feel like family. I loved every bit of that. Mrs. Laurenda said I can tell you about my food all day long but you have to taste it for yourself! We had to have Laurenda and Chad after that! Amazing individuals!

When we went to Laurenda's to see if we liked them for our wedding catering. My husband and I talked a bit with the staff and tasted their food. We got the vibe of being at HOME. Homemade food, treated like family. He looked at me and said, this is it! Hired. Two thumbs UP!

We made the decision to go with Laurenda's six months prior to the wedding. My daughter and her fiance were able to taste test the food for the wedding and were given a price per guest quickly after discussing the menu. On the wedding day, the set up for the food looked like a 5 star restaurant. The servers were professional and helpful at all times. The menu consisted of sliced pork, chicken, mashed potatoes, and two types of salad. We also had a coffee/hot cocoa bar and mini cheesecake shots for dessert. The food quality was incredible. The presentation was perfect and the cost met our budget needs. We priced around before choosing this vendor, and by far, they were the most affordable. I was very pleased with the portion sized and could not have been more happy with the whole experience!!! Thank you!

Laurenda's was my first and only choice for catering my wedding! From the very first time I talked with her and Chad to the night of the wedding EVERYTHING was seemless and perfect! They worked with us every step of the way and listened to what our ideas were while offering professional opinions to help make our ideas even better! The food was outstanding!!! We still have people telling us it was the best food they've had at a wedding! The setup was beautiful, the staff was excited and worked quickly. I cannot think of anything different they could've done - it was perfect! Do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding!

Picking Laurenda's was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. They made us feel at home from the very first meeting we had all the way through the day of the ceremony. The food was excellent, everyone loved it and there was tons left over. They constantly went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed everything and even sent us a picnic basket to take on the honeymoon. When we didn't have time to arrange our cupcakes, they stepped in and did that as well. Overall it was a wonderful, drama-free experience and I would pick them to cater any event in the future.

Both our florist and DJ suggested we use Laurenda's for our wedding! We made THE BEST choice in securing them to cater our wedding. The food is/was fantastic! They were patient with my bride brain and indecisiveness - and very helpful with ideas. I can not say enough great things about the staff at Laurenda's. Laurenda is amazing herself, but when you add Chad, P-nut and all of the other people, that we had the pleasure of working with, you have the winning team that CAN NOT be beat! You really should give them a try! I promise you won't be sorry!

Laurenda's Catering catered my son's spring wedding. She and her staff were so gracious to accomodate our non-traditional meal. My son and daughter in law's favorite food is mexican and that is what they requested be served at their reception. Many guests said it was best mexican they had ever eaten. Her staff was also amazing. They made our guests feel very special. Laurenda is flexible and willing to work with you to prepare whatever you want for your special day.

Laurenda's catered our wedding and it was the best choice we could have made. They treated us like family, and we still stop by for lunch just to see Laurenda and her team. The food was excellent and our guests were raving about how great it was. They were even nice enough to pack us a picnic basket of some of our catered foods so my wife and I didn't have to worry about getting enough to eat during the reception.

Laurendas catered our wedding and everything was so perfect! The setup was decorated to perfection to match our wedding colors, and they also went out of their way to bring extra surprises! There aren't enough words that I can type here to tell you how AMAZING Laurenda and her staff are! She catered our wedding on April 23, 2016 at Greer City Hall. Along with our decorator, Laurenda and her staff made the evening the best ever! The food was soooooo good! The presentation was very professional as well as the service. Laurenda's provided the catering for our wedding reception. I could not be more pleased with everything. Laurenda was so helpful and was willing to accommodate anything I desired. We went with the simple basic menu and there was plenty of it. Everything was delivered and setup on time and was ready when everyone arrived. All of our guests raved over the food and thought everything was so nice. I was never worried about a thing. I highly recommend Laurenda's for catering needs.

I would HIGHLY recommend Laurenda's to cater your event. Not only was the food absolutely amazing and everyone raved over it, but she was so willing to do anything to help and even made some additions to the menu a week before. She also had a surprise for us on our wedding day: an ice sculpture with our monogram on it! Laurenda's is the BEST...pick her as your wedding caterer!! You won't regret it!!

We got married December 3rd, laurendas not only came out the day of the wedding but the day before to help us set up so my wife could distress alittle,since she would be there to see set up. They were very responsive and always willing to discuss any tweeks or customizations we could make to our menu. And on a personal note, you can not help but love Mrs. Laurendas, I would suggest her over any caterer any day!!! Also don't just think she caters the meat and three she's known for, she can do any and everything. We did a pasta bar and it was absolutely amazing, she had something for anyone to eat and the pricing was super affordable and you get TONS!!! Of food.Noone went home hungry that night.

Laurenda's was wonderful. From the first meeting to the last, our suggestions were listened to with attention and interest and our questions were answered with ease. Laurenda goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and satisfied with your wedding day meal. Each time that we met with her, we were offered a free meal even though we offered to pay and not take advantage of her hospitality. She would not hear of it, saying that her wedding couples eat for free. She was open with suggestions and willing to make accommodations with planning the meal and the table setup. She offered many of her own decorations for our use if we were interested, which were a complimentary addition. She has many options to choose from including wood slices, lanterns, vases and more. Laurenda also has many albums full of pictures of her work, so we knew what we were getting before the wedding day arrived. On wedding day, the catering was flawless. Not only had Laurenda and her crew done what we asked, but they had gone above and beyond. They had added a few extra touches to our decorations with flowers and flower petals, and they served punch, an item not originally on our menu, which ended up becoming a hit with our guests, especially for the toasts. Laurenda was also gracious enough to lend us a cake knife, server, and cake stand so that we did not have to worry about buying them. The staff immediately came to my aid (the bride) and asked me what I wanted to eat, bringing my food without me having to even go over to the buffet, which I thought was very sweet of them. If I had to do my wedding fifty times over again, I would pick Laurenda's to do our catering every single time. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was fantastic and the staff paid attention to every detail and gave us such a wonderful experience. I never felt nervous or worried about anything with Laurenda's, and I would suggest them to anyone who asked about catering. Thanks Laurenda and team!

Hire Laurenda's! Hands down the best food and best people. They are professional and at the same time down to earth. We received numerous compliments on the food at our reception and people are still talking about how good the food was! Laurenda is very sweet and easy to work with. I met with her a couple of times for consultations and she covered everything and made sure everything was perfect. Her prices are also very fair which is hard to find when it comes to weddings. At the reception her staff was great! They have wonderful personalities and they made sure the food was perfect. I also hired a bartender through Laurenda's and she was amazing. I will definitely hire them again for my catering needs.

Laurenda and her staff are amazing! They went above and beyond to make my reception amazing. We had an outdoor wedding in the middle of July and I had forgotten to assign someone the task of putting water bottles out at the ceremony. Turns out I didn't need to worry about it because they had taken the initiative and put them out for me. I was so thankful. Everyone raved about the food. Especially their roasted potatoes. The picnic basket is an amazing keepsake and I love it. We went to an event a couple weeks later and they were the ones catering it. The food was just as good and the staff remembered us from my wedding. That speaks volumes to me. You could not ask for easier people to work with. It is obvious that they are passionate about what they do and I am so very thankful I found them.

The food that Laurenda's catering provided was outstanding. I have had so many people comment on the delicious meatballs that were served during our cocktail hour. Laurenda and her staff are all wonderful to work with! The food was outstanding (and is at every wedding where I've had her food), and the price is absolutely affordable. They will work with you to build your perfect menu for your desired budget, and when I called her the week before to ask if she could bring extra plates for cake she offered to bring them at no charge! Her crew is experienced and friendly, and can set up and clean up quickly. Overall, Laurenda's is awesome to work with! We didn't go anywhere else!

We have known Laurenda for many years and had no question who we would use when it came time to find a caterer for my wedding. Laurenda is the best of the best! Not only is the food always outstanding, but Laurenda and her team are the best to work with and make the process easy; they are a family. AMAZING. The prices were the best around town, and then the day of... the food was to die for. We heard people say it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Laurenda let us use one of her cake platforms instead of me having to rent one. She goes above and beyond to make your event special. (Ask about the mice on the cheese display!) She also has a very unique table cloth for wedding cakes. One of my friends said it made our cake table look like a work of art. Use Laurendas' for your event. You will not be disappointed! Bonus: You eat at her restaurant for free when you come to discuss your event. Even when you go to return a table cloth that you "accidentally" stole from the reception! Also, the picnic basket packed for the bride and groom is a wonderful keepsake!! I'm going to miss having a reason to go and meet with Laurenda!

Laurenda's Catering Services is beyond phenomenal, fantastic, and frugally workable. We were able to not only taste-test the foods to be served at our wedding, but more, and all for free, because we were paying them to cater our wedding! When the wedding day arrived, the food tasted top-notch, the servers were patient, sweet, and kind, and the guests were extremely pleased. It was a banquet fit for kings. Laurenda's was communicative with us, along with being very flexible. Laurenda herself recommended the venue, Lyman Lake Lodge, to us, which looked spectacular! We intend to visit the family restaurant again, and intend to tell our friends about it, often!

Of all of the people we worked with for our wedding, Laurenda was BY FAR the BEST! They were flexible, accommodating, and very professional. Not to mention the food is incredible!

I could not be more pleased with choosing Laurenda's to cater my wedding reception! From the beginning Laurenda and Chad were always available to meet with me and answer any questions I had! They were very prompt answering my emails and extremely flexible with me changing the menu, adding items, etc. I have never had so many compliments on food as I did that night. It was absolutely delicious! There were plenty of leftovers, and most caterers would have thrown out the leftovers, but Laurenda's allowed my mother to take it home. She was able to use all the leftover food to make lunch box's for all the shut-ins at her church and even they complimented on how wonderful the food was! Laurenda's even set up a hot cocoa bar for me for a great price and let us borrow items for my smore's bar. Not only was the food amazing, but the presentation was gorgeous as well. Laurenda's worked so hard to make the presentation just as beautiful as the wedding! At the end of the night Laurenda's packed a picnic basket full of food and cake for my husband and I to take back to our room! If you are looking for a caterer at a reasonable price with delicious food and wonderful service please look no further. Laurenda's is the caterer for you!

Our daughter wanted fried chicken and the fixins for her wedding reception in downtown Greenville SC. In spite of a few hurdles with the venue, Laurenda's came through like a dream and was so flexible. Also, fried chicken for >200 guests is not easy to provide offsite, but we had so many compliments on how juicy and tender it was. Everything was delicious plus... they provided beautiful decor for the buffet tables to coordinate with our wedding decor. I would definitely recommend Laurenda's for catering.

Laurenda's was wonderful to us during our wedding planning and even treated us to a free meal the day we set our menu. The food was fresh, hot, and super amazing and they even boxed up our left overs for us which most places throw away food. Amazing staff and resturant. Would use them again for other family events. AWESOME PLACE

Laurenda has just got it going on! She is an angel. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to cater my wedding. She went above and beyond to have the food I wanted. Her employees were awesome too. The food was absolutely delicious, I believe the guest talked more about how good the food was more than the wedding. Thank you Laurenda for all you did! Also, I must add. My papa passed away just a few weeks ago and I walked into my grandmas house to find tons of food on my grandmas kitchen that she provided for our family! Thanks for all you have done for me and my family! I would suggest her to everybody!

We hired Laurenda to do our catering! Her & the chef met with us twice & fed us both times anything we wanted! On the wedding day her and her crew were very good at keeping thing moving without being seen! She made a plate for my husband and I to eat so that we wouldn't have to stand in line! She gave us all the left over food! She also packed us a basket to take with us on our honeymoon! The food was AMAZING! We would hire her again for a big event!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Laurenda's catering. My daughter's wedding was perfect in every way, including the excellent food and service that they supplied. Laurenda, Chad and Peanut were awesome and a joy to work with! Everyone raved about the delicious food and the gorgeous wedding cake that Laurenda created! We also had enough food left over to feed many out of town guests that came to our house to enjoy the delicious food again! The bride and groom loved the basket full of goodies that they took with them on their wedding night. This staff is a special group and I truly loved working with them! I highly recommend Laurenda's for all your catering needs!!

Laurenda, Chad, and the whole team were wonderful! They were so professional, friendly, and welcoming. They worked with me throughout the whole process and really understood what I was looking for! The food was AWESOME!!!! Everyone raved about how great the food was! The setup was so beautiful! The cake was EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect cake! Laurenda's Catering done a fabulous job catering my wedding reception. Before the wedding, they were great at keeping in contact and making sure I had everything I needed. The food was amazing and I could not have asked for a better caterer. I am still getting compliments about how great the food was. The display was beautiful, as well. They were also very professional. I definitely recommend them if anybody is looking for a catering service!

We were stuck in a bad situation with another caterer and Laurenda took us in and helped us out so much. I'm sure she coul tell how upset we were the day we came in and made us feel at home. She is the sweetest lady you'd ever meet, and the food was perfect. Everyone talked about how delicious it was all night. Laurenda and her head chef, Chad, were both so helpful with any questions and always willing to meet with us and make sure everything was perfect for our day.
