Lauren & her team were EXCEPTIONAL from start to finish. A joy to work with every step of the way. I found Lauren through my Pittsburgh photography research and her work stood out from the rest. She and her team perfectly captured our beautiful day and now we get to look back on our day via 1500+ photos. What ultimately led to us choosing Lauren was our in-person interview where we could feel her excitement, energy & professionalism, as well as her shooting style (film). Her work felt so authentic and warm and ever since we met, we knew we had to secure her for our wedding day. We even took the additional step of hiring her for our engagement photos which I HIGHLY recommend so you can work with her before your wedding day to feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is an absolute gem and made my husband and I feel so comfortable throughout the entire process.
If you're considering working with Lauren, do it. We couldn't have imagined our big day without her and she exceeded our expectations. -

Lauren Renee Photography was recommended to us by our wedding planner and we could not have been more satisfied with our decision to work with her. Lauren pours her heart and soul into every event she is involved with and spends countless hours of physical, mental and emotional time with every client. It was not only her heart that drew us to her as the ideal wedding photographer, but also her honest and confident outlook on the product she provides. The level of service and quality of photography represent an exceptional return on our investment with LRP. Lauren and her team were the idyllic balance of comforting and authoritative on our wedding day to gather our wedding party and deliver stunning images. Lauren Renee Photography. Gosh. I have no idea where to start. Lauren is magic. She has a gift, and she uses it to BECOME a gift to her couples. Lauren is KIND. She sent a gift when we first booked her. She cared when we had to postpone our wedding. She offered to do an engagement session on what would have been our wedding day, and then she made what could have been a sad day such a wonderful day still worth remembering nevertheless. After postponing our wedding, we were sad. “COVID brides” seemed to have obstacle after obstacle stacked against them, but Lauren made us excited for our wedding again and so optimistic that whatever it ended up looking like would be perfect. She reminded me of that several times over the past months. Lauren was uplifting and considerate during a time when those two characteristics were impossible to find in this world. Lauren is TALENTED. Our engagement photos were PERFECT. I could not even pick a favorite, and more so I could not get over the fact that we had this Wonder Woman of an artist yet to capture our big day. She is professional and extremely detail-oriented. She wants to know how you met. How he proposed. Your family members’ names. The shots you care about. All your vendors. Your style. Lauren traveled the day before my wedding to photograph all my details just because she knew I had obsessed over them for over a year. Who does that!?!?!?! No one does that. Til Lauren. She makes you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. If you don’t love the camera, she will make you. If you don’t love yourself, she will show you your most beautiful you. She did that for me, and I would recommend her with every ounce of energy in me so other brides can feel that, too. Please, do not hesitate to book Lauren. You WILL NOT regret it. Her team is also incredible and SO kind. My dress and veil were.... a lot.... and not once did they hesitate to fix it and make sure everything was perfect all day. Your wedding pictures last a lifetime and, while Lauren might think the pleasure of capturing our days is hers, trust me... the pleasure is all ours. -

Lauren is a wizard at her craft. All seriousness, I could not love this girl more. She is not only just an amazing human being but an extraordinary artist and master at capturing raw emotion. From the minute we started doing our research on photographers for our wedding, Lauren was immediately the professional my husband and I wanted to work with. Her work just speaks volumes to the passion she possesses and provides for her clients. She has an undeniable ability to tell a story through her imagery - and a raw talent for bringing to light and capturing true expression. We were SO relieved when lauren was available to capture our special day. These photos are something you hold onto forever, so just know you are in good hands with Lauren. My husband and I will be married a year this coming September (sorry for the late review!) and I look at our wedding photos every day. We framed our photos in a gallery wall in our long hallway and I stop and look at them every time I pass. I couldn’t have asked for more perfection, professionalism, attention to detail and just an overall warmth and kind heart working with Lauren. She.Is.The.Best -

Lauren was my favorite vendor of all vendors throughout my wedding process. She is a consummate professional while also being extraordinarily warm and understanding. She was the only vendor who sent a small token as a thank you after the contract was signed, which left a big impact. She was highly organized, kind, intuitive, punctual, and a true master of her craft. After our photos came out my mother texted me and said "Tell your photographer she is brilliant. Truly a master artist." I could not agree more. I could not recommend her more. She was perfection. -

Absolutely the best out there
Lauren is HANDS DOWN THE BEST! I absolutely loved working with her! I couldn’t imagine my wedding photos and overall day with her to go any better than what it did! I am not a person who is comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL but Lauren made me feel so comfortable which made everything so much better! She’s incredibly easy to work with, sweet, and genuine! I want her to take pictures of me all the time 😉 -

We knew we wanted Lauren to capture our wedding the minute we saw her timeless, soft, and romantic photos - she was actually the first vendor we booked! Not only is Lauren an incredible photographer, but she was wonderful to work with and put us at ease leading up to and the day of our wedding (and she can really drive a golf cart!) Having done our engagement photos, she helped us relax in front of the camera so that we knew what to expect on our wedding day. Lauren kept everything the day-of running smoothly - making sure she captured all the details and family photos we wanted while getting us to and from the church with time to breathe! She even snuck us out after dinner for sunset photos! 💕 We could not have enjoyed working with Lauren more, and would work with her and her team again in a heartbeat! -

Needs more than 5 stars!
If I could put more stars down, I would. Lauren is AMAZING at what she does, she truly captures the moment and happiness of one of the best days of your life! She is amazing to work with and incredibly detail oriented, she is also assertive (in a good way) on the wedding day to make sure you get every photo you want and she doesn’t miss those important moments. I have been in my fair share of weddings and Lauren was by far the most professional photographer I’ve seen, she came prepared and ready to capture photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and the photos are AMAZING and I love that when I look through them I get to relive the best day of my life!

Working with Lauren was a dream!
I can't say enough positive things about working with Lauren!! We got AMAZING photos and met a truly wonderful and kind person all in one. I cried when I saw the photos, they were so beautiful and timeless. You will not regret working with her. She is incredibly fun and made us super comfortable when taking our photos. I would definitely recommend doing your engagement photos with her as well because she teaches you so much about posing and being in front of the camera. She was also really responsive and gave me great advice when planning out the details of the day and wanted to make sure she captured the things most important to us. If you want high quality photos, you have to commit to the investment and it was the best money I spent on our wedding!! -

I knew exactly what I wanted when I began my research for wedding photographers. I wanted a beautiful, bright, light, and classic look that would not be extremely over edited or too cliché. I happened to stumble on Lauren’s Instagram one day while scrolling through the explore page. I believe it had to be fate! I instantly fell in love and every single picture was everything I had dreamed up for my own pictures! Once contacting Lauren, I had fallen in love with her too! From our first meeting up until the wedding day, we hit the jackpot. Lauren is so genuine, honest, determined, and her professionalism is one that is so hard to find. She was willing to meet at any point throughout the planning process, extremely accessible to contact, and truly was a wealth of knowledge! She provided us with so much information that allowed us to remain at ease! I believe you have to feel comfortable with your vendors, and not only were we comfortable, we were confident. I never once felt that I needed to worry about how the pictures would turn out or how the day would flow. Throughout meeting with Lauren she provided us with plans of how the day would run and even went to our ceremony location days before to become familiar with it! Not only is Lauren an amazing person to be around and work with, her pictures are truly works of art! To this day, I do not believe there is anyone else that could have captured the essence of our wedding day the way Lauren did. She took the time to really get to know and care about us as a couple, which I believe really shined through in the pictures. It felt like she was one of our best friends there with us during the day! Wedding days can become stressful trying to fit everything in, and Lauren was always stress free, calm, and took her time to make sure everything was perfect and she always captured the perfect shot! Everyone that has seen our pictures have said that they are the most beautiful, elegant, and magazine worthy pictures. I even find myself going through them and looking at them day after day. Not only do I love them, but they leave me speechless. The photos are timeless, breathtaking, and something we will be able to cherish for the rest of our lives. Photography was the biggest and most important aspect of the wedding vendors for me, and we could have not have been luckier to have worked with such a talented, creative, and amazing photographer who has now become our friend!

Working with Lauren was an absolute dream from Day 1. We first spoke as I was in the very early stages of my research on photographers. After loving her website and our first call together I knew I didn't need to look any further. For our engagement photos Lauren went above and beyond. She was more than willing to travel 5 hours out of state so that we could have our session on our alma mater's campus, making it such a meaningful and romantic shoot for us. On top of that, she quickly got us gorgeous proofs to use for our Save the Date and even helped me with outfit advice leading up to our session. In the months before our wedding Lauren was always quick to respond to any questions we had and also provided tons of helpful information so that we felt organized and ready. Everything from extended family shots to the smallest detail shots like the all-important wedding accessories were covered in her provided lists and then captured the day of. Lauren came to my parents' house where the bridal party was getting ready and it truly felt like she was another one of my friends helping me get ready. She was so much more than a photographer but a friend and supporter. She was consistently detail-oriented, making sure that shots I wanted didn't get lost in the shuffle during the pre-ceremony buzz. The ceremony shots Lauren took truly captured everything and are some of the most sentimental shots of the day. Because of a rainy forecast on our wedding day, Lauren had multiple plans prepared to make sure that we got everything we wanted in between our ceremony and reception, regardless of the weather. We took stunning photos in the natural light as well as beautiful shots under the rotunda of our cocktail hour area. The whole day was beautifully captured and really we couldn't have asked for more. Our new home (and offices, and phone screens, and mantels. and refrigerators) has her stunning work everywhere and I am grateful every day that we put our wedding photography in her hands. -
Abby Sent on 06/26/2018Our experience working with Lauren/Lauren Renee Designs was nothing short of 5 star. Lauren is extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented. She really went the extra mile with every last element of the planning process, checking in frequently and responding to calls/emails almost immediately. There was no detail left unaddressed, which made the wedding planning process seamless and stress-free. She is very well-versed and professional in working and collaborating with the other vendors involved in putting together an event. Lauren was a true professional but also fun and personable to work with and be with throughout the day of our wedding. She had a preview of our photos ready to go the day after the event, which was so exciting to be able to share with our family and friends right away. The rest of the images were ready just a few weeks after, and we were so excited to have them that quickly. The photos speak for themselves, they are timeless and elegant images that I am sure will withstand the test of time. I chose Lauren knowing that I would be able to look back on our photos forever and never regret the style of the photography. I would highly recommend working with Lauren, and investing the time and money in these fine art photos, as they are the one thing that you get to take with you when the night of your wedding or event is over. Thank you Lauren for exceeding all of our expectations!
