Choosing your wedding planner is the single most important vendor decision you’ll make in the wedding process — and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Lauren Miller.
We chose Lauren for three reasons:
1. She’s a tenured wedding planner with incredible relationships in the area and with other vendors.
2. She knows our venue, Ru’s Farm, like the back of her hand — a true expert.
3. She’s the sweetest, kindest, and most responsive person you could hope to work with.
Lauren can match any bride’s style or needs. If you want to take the lead, she’ll happily let you while serving as a supportive partner and sounding board. If you need more hands-on help, she’ll step right in and guide you every step of the way. I’m more of a Type A bride and wanted to own all the relationships with my vendors at first (with guidance from Lauren along the way), but what absolutely blew me away was how she handled the final 1–3 months leading up to the wedding. She took everything I had planned and brought it to life with such grace and precision.
Because of Lauren, I felt completely at ease and fully present on my wedding day. My husband and I even looked at each other that evening and said, “Is it supposed to feel this easy?” We were in awe watching her — and all of our vendors — work seamlessly behind the scenes.
A special shoutout to Lauren’s assistant, who made me feel so cared for and complemented Lauren’s expertise perfectly. I’m endlessly grateful to have planned and executed the event of my life with Lauren and her team. Lauren was the best planner we could ask for - she truly went above & beyond to make our day such a dream come true. We booked Lauren about 1.5 year before our wedding date, and from Day 1 she was always so patient and responsive to all our questions. From our walkthrough meetings to communications leading up to the big day, Lauren was so organized with everything.
On the wedding weekend itself, we didn't have to lift a finger! Lauren took care of everything and the day was absolutely perfect. She was there when we needed her, but also gave us space to enjoy the day. She is the utmost professional and we loved working with her! Highly recommend! -

Our daughter was recently married at Viansa Winery and Lauren was our event planner. She was incredible to work with! We appreciated her knowledge and deep experience planning weddings, her strong connections with many of the contractors/vendors we worked with, and her professional approach to working with the bride and groom as well as the parents. Lauren communicated effectively with all of us throughout the process and was very flexible in making sure this was the wedding we wanted. On the day of the wedding we were highly confident in letting Lauren coordinate with everyone and was able to fully enjoy being present at the wedding ceremony and reception without having to worry about any of the details. -

Lost without Lauren
What can I say!! I started scoping out wedding planners about a year before our wedding, and from the very start Lauren was professional, warm and inquisitive about my husband and I, and so helpful!! We chose Lauren for how special she made us feel, her robust services, overall demeanor and approach to working with her customers, and of course the fabulous reviews before that sang her praises. My husband and I live in New York City, but chose to have our wedding in California, and had folks flying in all the way from Australia, to London, to the East coast of the US. Needless to say, it was overwhelming to think about planning, and I truly could not have done it without Lauren. She was always responsive within minutes/hours, more than willing to offer up her suggestions or two scents when we became overwhelmed or discouraged with the natural frustrations of planning such a big, important day, and she pulled together the weekend of a lifetime that we'll never forget. She also was super helpful with planning details leading up to the day, the morning of, the after party, and the day after. She goes above and beyond!!
Long story short, don't think twice about booking in Lauren's services. She's amazing at what she does and our day wouldn't have been so special and relaxed without her. Thank you Lauren!! -

Lauren is the absolute best vendor and an even better person. She is such a joy to work with, she is calm, never ruffled, a problem-solver, and brings a warm energy to every situation. From start to finish, she exceeded every expectation, ensuring our wedding was nothing short of magical.
Our planning process was low stress, thanks to her professionalisn, organization, and the fact that everyone in Wine Country knows and respect hers. She were always available to answer our questions (which I had many) and offer advice, making me and my husband feel supported and confident every step of the way. She has good relationships with other vendors too, and it was so easy trusting her to handle the communications with them.
On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion. Her and her assistant, Abby were attentive and dedicated, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed. After the fact, we were shocked because literally nothing went wrong - and you never hear that about weddings.
Working with Lauren was the best decision we made and we can't recommend her enough!! -

There are not enough great things I can say about Lauren. We got married at Viansa and the staff there recommended her. It's abundantly clear she does weddings at Viansa basically every week. They love her, the other vendors love her, my guests loved her, and of course we loved her. She was so efficient and so responsive and dealt well with Ben and I, both of whom are insanely Type A. I can easily see how we would have irritated or overwhelmed a lesser wedding planner hah. But she took it all in stride and was so kind every step of the way. Everything went completely seamlessly on our wedding day and I was so immensely glad to have her there. Worth every penny and more. -

I was thrilled the day my (now) husband proposed! I couldn’t wait to start wedding planning; however, as I embarked on the journey, I found myself baffled - this is the day I couldn’t wait to plan, yet I didn’t know where to start! Fortunately, a dear friend referred the wonderful and amazing, Lauren Miller, one of the best decisions I made during this process!!
I had cancer, surgery and chemotherapy the year before I got engaged. Mentally and physically I was still on the mend and I found myself easily overwhelmed and exhausted - insert Lauren to the rescue! Lauren was right by my side the entire way, offering many helpful suggestions and words of encouragement. She was quick to respond to my questions and offered her highly esteemed advice when I needed it most. Hands down, ten out of ten, Lauren Miller is the absolute best!
As I reflect back on one of the most important days of my life, I think about the joy and love that surrounded my husband and me. I didn’t have to worry about anything, the day flowed seamlessly and I was even able to enjoy the food (big thank you to Lauren and the caterers who made sure to set aside meals for the Hubs and I to eat if/when we had the chance)!

Hire Lauren, she is the ultimate wedding planner!
Lauren was the secret to my daughter's beautiful, personal and fun wedding at Viansa on Nov 11! We all felt so calm and ready to enjoy the day knowing that Lauren had everything under control. Lauren is super easy to work with. She is warm, and kind; just lovely to work with the entire time. She has lots of experience and it shows in her vendor relationships. Vendors respect her and it was obvious that they enjoy working with her. She is flexible, and responds quickly. Lauren was helpful and calm with last minute changes. She's onsite and with you from beginning to end. She does not get rattled! There is no way we would have enjoyed this special day as much as we did, without her. Lauren worked incredibly hard on our behalf to coordinate such a memorable event. We cannot thank her enough. -

Best Wedding Planner Ever!
Lauren was amazing from the start. She came highly recommended and when we had our initial meeting we immediately understood why. My husband and I knew nothing about planning a wedding and we were planning one halfway across the country. Lauren helped us every step of the way. She replied to all my ridiculous questions and emails at all hours, really going above and beyond to make sure we were all on the same page. Every vendor we worked with asked us who our wedding planner was and when we told them Lauren they all look relieved and stated they loved to work with her. Our wedding day, unfortunately, got rained out but Lauren went right to work re-arranging everything to move it indoors. We truly could not have pulled this wedding off without her and knowing she was behind the scenes on the day of the wedding making sure everything was perfect, made the day stress free. Hands down the best money we spent on the whole wedding was hiring Lauren. -

Lauren was the best planner we could have asked for. She went above and beyond to make our day run seamlessly and helped us throughout the entire planning process. In the months leading up to the day, she helped us vet different vendors, and was also very responsive to our concerns about staying within budget.
Our day ran so smoothly, and Lauren never hesitated when I needed help getting dirt and twigs pulled out of my dress, unpacking all the glow sticks we forgot about as guests were hitting the dance floor, and making sure we stuck to our timeline despite some longer-than-expected speeches. She had existing relationships with all our vendors, which helped us tremendously when last-minute changes needed to be made (like renting heaters the day before!). We loved that Lauren was highly organized, and responsive to all our questions (big and small), but also was very down-to-earth, flexible, and sensitive to our budget. Most of all, Lauren was fun and easy-going, and a great person to spend your wedding day with. We cannot recommend her enough! -

Hiring Lauren was, hands down, one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She came highly recommended from everyone we spoke to, and from our very first conversation I could tell why - she really is as awesome as everyone says! She helped guide us through everything, big and small, and was so patient and kind along the way. Working with Lauren felt like having an incredibly organized and caring friend or big sister help you plan your big day - you could trust that she always had your back, would share her honest feedback, and took the time to talk you through all of your decisions (both big and small) which goes to show you how much she cares that it really is your perfect event.
Days before our fully outdoor wedding, we heard there was a chance of a major storm. We cannot express how thankful we were to have Lauren on our side, leading us through all of the last-minute changes. She navigated everything perfectly, giving us a heads up without panic, explaining how/what might need to change, and creating and sharing back-up plans quickly so we could get a sense for the new day’s flow. She shared photos of past rain weddings to give us ideas, coordinated changes with the vendors behind the scenes so nothing felt like a back-up-plan (like updating our floral decor and rentals to match the new spaces), and was just so incredibly calming. She’d check-in each day leading up to the event with updates and ideas, and I always got off those calls feeling relaxed and reassured knowing that our day was in great hands. We ended up moving our entire event to different locations throughout the venue, and the guests not only couldn’t tell, but gave us so many compliments about our attention to detail and how smoothly everything went, which really was hugely thanks to Lauren. We originally hired Lauren as our wedding planner for a June 2020 event, which was ultimately postponed to August 2021. We just finally wrapped up the wedding weekend in Sonoma and could not have done it without Lauren. After years of working together, planning / re-planning multiple events, meeting multiple times at the venue, rental showroom, etc. we finally had the wedding of our dreams. We even moved out of state during the process and Lauren was so accommodating of our schedules when meeting with us both virtually and in person. I have no doubt there were a million things going on behind the scenes that Lauren and her team dealt with / took care of to ensure everything went smoothly day of. And it did - it was PERFECT. No element was missed, no detail overlooked. We cannot recommend Lauren enough for all of her help during our long wedding planning process. She's an expert in her field, is well connected in the industry, she knew our venue (Cornerstone) so well and was so helpful in helping coordinate everything - a lot of which was brought in from offsite. Lauren was a dream to work with — warm and friendly, super responsive, detail-oriented, and awesome at working with vendors (many of whom were her fabulous referrals) on our behalf. Our rehearsal dinner and wedding were BEAUTIFUL and logistical masterpieces thanks to Lauren. We worked closely with her to weigh in on what we wanted, and she managed everything so we could be fully present with our friends and family on the best weekend of our lives! Best Planner Ever!
Hiring Lauren as our wedding planner was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. We were planning the whole year of COVID and Lauren was positive, professional and confident the whole way too - making us feel great about our wedding day no matter what size it was going to be. We ended up being able to have 70 guests and she made every detail, and moment special. She was there for all of the set-up and helped us navigate through decisions. All of her vendor recommendations were spot on - she's amazing and we love her! Do yourself a favor and hire her for your wedding! -

Made the Impossible, Possible!
We came to Lauren after we had postponed, and then eventually canceled with another venue in Carmel, CA. We were recommended to her by Vintners Inn. I was apprehensive about hiring a planner at first, but Vintners required it so I obliged. Looking back we truly could not have done this day without Lauren. Not only did she plan and coordinate this wedding safely and under all COVID policies/restructions, she went above and beyond to make sure this wedding was as close to our vision as possible within the parameters of the county/venue. Did I mention she did this all in 5 weeks? True miracle worker. She is full of recommendations and has a robust knowledge of the industry, with tons of contacts and relationships with other vendors- making this process seriously so easy. I showed her what I wanted, she chose the appropriate vendors, I approved- that easy! Throughout the whole process, she was attentive, caring (even when I broke down many times, thank you COVID), and always responsive- even over the 4th of July weekend, even when I was being a crazy sending multiple page long emails per day! I never felt like I bothered her and she was always willing to take whatever I threw her way. Weekend of was no different! Lauren was professional and able to wrangle my rowdy bunch at the drop of a hat. She was such a calm presence, and by the end of it felt more like a big sister and friend. Definitely the most underrated vendor by a mile! Looking back, I do not know how people do this without a Lauren of their own. I am so grateful for her efforts and I cannot imagine the day without her!!! I cannot wait to plan another event with her soon! -

Hiring Lauren as Wedding Planner for our daughter's July 2019 wedding was hands down the best decision we made! Lauren was an absolute joy to work with through the entire year long planning process! Lauren exceeded all of our expectations as our wedding coordinator. Lauren worked patiently and professionally with us to plan our special day. Lauren referred us to several vendors in all categories that she has worked with and then some she had not, and then let us interview each so that we could find the perfect matches who shared our vision. Lauren was never afraid to share concerns if our ideas didn't completely give with the venue or other logistics for the event. She kept us on a safe timeline and seemed just as excited as we were for all of the festivities, and never 'over it' at any point. Her communication was constant but never overbearing. Lauren was the bomb! -

Lauren helped us make our ambitious dream wedding happen in Sonoma county. From the first days of working together, months before the big day, Lauren spent time with us to clarify our vision and to provide much-needed insider information on vendors and resources available in the area. She helped us understand which details would be easy to achieve, and which ones would be more work. And she provided very clear and helpful guidance for understanding our timeline of when each phase of the wedding needed to be planned.
Throughout the planning phase, Lauren was very responsive and helpful, giving us feedback on our vendor contracts and all of the tricky details that we wanted to fall into place. She always treated us with warmth and respect, and handled our needs as a gay couple beautifully.
On our wedding day, we asked Lauren to arrange a particularly complex set of events, including multiple family photo shoots, surprise video screens, a rolling glow party, and precisely-timed rollout of food items. Lauren was more than up to the task, with a down-to-the-minute timeline prepared well in advance. During the reception, a member of the wedding party became ill, and Lauren was more than able to navigate around the issue and help everyone have an amazing time.
The day was unforgettable, and I am so thankful we were able to spend it with Lauren at our side. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to put together a magical wedding. -

AMAZING - Lauren is an absolute gem!
Lauren was hands down the best decision we made with wedding vendors. My husband and I keep reliving our big day, and we can't stop talking about how lucky we got by finding Lauren. I can not express enough how amazing it was to work with her - I owe her all the credit for the flawless execution of our wedding.
Scope of work - Technically we hired her as a "partial" planner, as we had already found our venue (Ru's Farm) before we hired her. But Lauren was engaging and immensely valuable throughout the 18 months we were planning every other detail of our wedding. Wedding planning is a cluster of design choices and moving variables, and she works to ensure that the process is done in non-overwhelming chunks that make sense and are easy.
Flexibility - She was never over bearing, but always available for questions, and would go above and beyond to see anything through to resolution. As an example, we were trying to sort out a shuttle for guests from the hotel block to the venue. Lauren proactively gathered quotes, was informed on the differences between vendor options, knew the specifications of what was allowed vehicle size wise at the venue, and provided insight on how large of a shuttle to book, and how many runs back and forth to make, etc. Despite me changing my mind multiple times about how many guests I thought would take the shuttle, her estimate was correct and the shuttle worked perfectly.
Experience - Lauren has done this a million times over, and it shows. She has immensely valuable insights that allow her to see where things might get sideways before they actually do, and she proactively resolves them. I made our seating chart on my own, and because I waited until the last minute she didn't see it until the wedding day. She quickly reviewed it, and noticed some mistakes I had made (I accidentally assigned the wrong table to one guest, and left another off). She ensured there was someone onsite to identify the guests and make sure they went to the right table.
Taste & Design Advice - Lauren was able to take a smattering of pictures I had grabbed off pinterest and extrapolate the themes and design choices from them, and quite honestly created the wedding I was struggling to articulate that I wanted. I can honestly say there was not a single thing I would have changed from the table settings, to the decor, to the flowers, etc and that was all driven by the work she put into it.
There is no review that can do justice to the fabulousness of working with Lauren. 100% work with her. She is AMAZING. -

Lauren was amazing to work with for our wedding at Tyge Williams! The entire planning process can be extremely overwhelming, but Lauren was ALWAYS there to answer any question (big or small) we had. From our initial venue walkthrough with her, to securing rentals and recommending vendors, Lauren was essential in our planning process and making our vision come to life.
The day of the wedding, we did not have a worry in the world because we knew we were in good hands. Her detailed timeline kept everything flowing the entire day/night. Lauren is amazing at her job and was such a joy to work with. Highly recommend! -

We truly felt like she was with us every step of the way during the planning process. Weddings are so stressful and Lauren was always there to answer our questions and give us advice (and she always responded to emails so quickly). She has great relationships with vendors in the Sonoma area and provided us with quotes from vendors that worked with our vision and budget. She is extremely easy to work with and has a very relaxed but extremely professional demeanor. I have a very type- A personality and was worried about turning everything over to someone on our big day. But Lauren exceeded our expectations! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and it was all thanks to her and her assistant. On the way to the ceremony, my husband realized the seat of his pants hadn't properly been sewn by his tailor and Lauren and her assistant had them fixed in no time! She was so calm the day of, which really helped me, and made sure every item (on my long list) was attended to and executed just the way we wanted. She made sure the timeline flowed (even when dinner ran longer than we thought), and every time she approached us it was always so discreetly and calmly. We didn't have to worry about a thing! We cannot recommend Lauren enough!

She is incredibly prepared, detail oriented and proactive, thinks of everything and has great taste. She helped us make the right decisions, balancing achieving our vision with practicality and managing our budget. She knew where to save and where to go for it, which details would really make the difference. She is also just a pleasure to work with, and even when dealing with last minute guest list changes, vendor contracts and timelines, she does everything with an amazing attitude that really permeated our whole wedding planning experience and the weekend of. I can't say enough things about Lauren, and wish I had more girlfriends getting married in this area so I can enthusiastically refer them!

Sandy Sent on 12/28/2017Lauren was the wedding coordinator for our Sonoma November wedding. She was simply amazing to work with! Even during our initial phone conversation, I knew that she was super organized, detailed, and just loved her job in general. Our wedding right after the Santa Rosa/Sonoma/Napa wildfires (venue was a block away from the evacuation zone - so imagine the panic) but Lauren stayed on top of communication with us to make sure everything was ready to go. Lauren made schematics of the wedding venue to make sure we knew where everything was going to be and made recommendations to help with the wedding flow, including tweaking the timeline to maximize efficiency. Her vendor list came in very handy as she's worked with so many vendors in the area and knew which reliable ones to suggest. As we booked Lauren two years in advance, she made extra efforts to touch bases with us multiple times throughout the planning process, including meeting us after contract finalization and again during the month-of site visit. We are so thankful Lauren was our coordinator as she made our big day effortless! I didn't worry about a single thing on our big day!

As our Sonoma wedding was destination, my family members all asked where/how I found such a wonderful planner - her presence, while behind the scenes, made all the difference. She's somehow super professional yet super casual/easy to talk to at the same time. A quality that I think is very rare and VERY necessary when planning a wedding. I've been at a lot of friend's weddings in the past few years and seen how easily a wedding planner can make or break the day. Lauren made everything feel so light and easy and never once did I feel stressed, even when things came up that might have made one feel stressed. Michelle Sent on 03/12/2017I can't even begin to express how amazing Lauren was! We are so happy that we chose her to coordinate our wedding. From the planning to the day of the wedding, Lauren was incredibly responsive, full of great ideas, and so so thoughtful! A couple of examples of her awesomeness:
1. We had a February wedding, with hopes that we could have our ceremony outdoors on the lawn at Vintners Inn (we had a backup indoor option in case of rain). I relentlessly checked the weather forecast every day for 2 weeks before the wedding, and it kept going back and forth between rain and sunshine. Two days before the wedding, the forecast showed sunshine, but the day before showed rain. So Lauren said we should make the decision by 9am the morning of the wedding just in case the grass was too wet, and she would coordinate details based on what we decided that morning. Luckily, we were able to have our beautiful outdoor wedding, and we were so happy that Lauren offered to let us decide the morning of our wedding. She was so flexible and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day!
2. We were STARVING after the wedding and hadn't had a chance to eat much during the reception. We went back to our room, ready to order a pizza, and we thankfully found two to-go boxes with leftover dinner and cake from our reception along with all of our presents and cards safely in our room! So amazing and just what we needed!

We interviewed Lauren as she was recommended by our venue, Vintner's Inn, and we could not be happier with our choice. Though we hired her for day-of coordination services, Lauren went above and beyond that. She kept in contact with us a year from our wedding day and always responded to our emails, millions of questions, and phone calls, thoroughly and promptly. She is organized, caring & sweet, and attentive to details. She was on top of everything for our wedding, kept us on track when planning, coordinated with our vendors, and helped and gave advice with decor and other little details. On the day of the wedding, we knew we had nothing to worry about. Lauren would check in with me, kept me calm, and always had a smile on her face. We had A LOT of decor to give her, and she set it all up beautifully. The ceremony site, cocktail terrace, and the reception looked phenomenal due to Lauren. She helped turn our dream wedding into a reality, and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

I am SO happy that we booked Lauren! She was so professional, organized, flexible and easy to work with! I cannot say enough about her. Another big selling point is that with all that she did for us, she was affordable! You don't need to pay a fortune for a fabulous wedding coordinator, you just need Lauren!
