5 stars truly doesn’t even scratch the surface. If you’re considering Lauren Kearns Photography, just book her. There is no better choice.
Lauren not only delivers jaw-dropping, stunning photos, but also provides an experience that goes far beyond what you’d expect from a wedding photographer. She is kind, professional, hilarious, and made us, along with our families and friends, feel completely comfortable throughout our entire wedding weekend.
You can genuinely tell how much she loves what she does, and it shows in every moment she captures. Being in front of her camera never felt intimidating. It honestly felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. She brought such a fun, energetic energy to both our Costa Rica wedding day and our Tallahassee, Florida engagement session, and truly felt like the perfect third wheel on our date, making everything feel natural, effortless, and so us.
And oh, the photos!! Every single image felt like a true reflection of who we are. When we received our wedding gallery back, my husband said, “Wow… that was really us. We had the best day ever, and Lauren captured it exactly how I remember it, but even better.” That alone says everything.
What a gift it is to be able to relive our wedding day so vividly through Lauren’s lens. These are the kinds of photos that bring you right back to the feeling, not just how it looked, but how it felt. We are so beyond grateful and truly cannot recommend her enough. -

I had been following Lauren for several years before I got engaged. I gave her a call a few days after our engagement before any of the wedding planning started. She was incredible from the start! So helpful in sharing insights on venues, syncing with me on open dates and timelines for church vs venue wedding, and anything else she could share. This is just one example of how Lauren goes above and beyond and all before we officially signed our contract. Lauren was an integral part of our wedding from day one. She was extremely flexible in scheduling with us for our engagement shoot, made us feel so comfortable, and spent a lot of time with us never making us feel rushed. Lauren’s level of detail and organization shows up in everything she does from her incredible work to all the information she will share prior to your wedding day to make sure everything is seamless. Fast forward to our wedding day, we have too many good things to say to summarize into one review. It was raining on and off all day and we were so impressed with Lauren. Our family and friends loved her. She got every shot and more- including family shots with six kids under 5. She worked with us all day going inside and outside because of weather to get all the shots (and more), she made us feel calm and minimized any stress, and we couldn’t believe how amazing the pictures came out with and without rain! I can’t imagine going through this process with anyone else, if I could do it all over, Lauren would be the first vendor I prioritized investing in. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with her, is truly lucky! -

Lauren Kearns is the best of the best at what she does on all fronts. She made everything easy, stress-free, and enjoyable, from our engagement photo shoot in NYC to planning our wedding day timeline, to photographing us on our wedding day in NJ. My whole family was impressed with her professionalism and efficiency and was struck by her kindness and the quality of her photos. They were breathtaking. Lauren goes above and beyond to ensure the important details are beautifully captured. She is also extremely flexible schedule-wie. We were based in Michigan planning an engagement shoot in NYC and a wedding in New Jersey, and she worked with our travel plans and limitations with ease. On the day of our wedding, she communicated seamlessly with the other vendors, such as the florist and videographers, to ensure she had what she needed for certain shots. Other vendors raved about her and said they always love working with her—she has a great reputation for being easy to work with. She worked with us to make a detailed timeline of the day, and she ensured everything ran smoothly and according to schedule; this was impressive, because we have a big family, and she made sure we photographed everyone on schedule. If you have little kids (i.e., ring bearers and flow girls) who will be in your family portraits, Lauren is fantastic at making them feel comfortable and coaxing smiles out of even the shyest kiddos. Our photos turned out FANTASTIC. Thank you, Lauren! The beautiful person you are behind the camera even shines through the photos you take. -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lauren! She is an incredibly talented photographer and was a joy to work with. She is a veteran of the wedding industry and knows how to capture the most beautiful and memorable moments of your day. She gets to know your family and all those important to you and captures every moment so authentically. She was organized, efficient, patient and nimble/flexible, which is very important because I guarantee your timeline will have to adjust on the day. Just too many cats to herd, ha. She has great vibes and made all the photo sessions feel effortless. She guides you through it all, it’s impossible to “mess up” a photo/moment. She’s a true professional who loves what she does. From the engagement session to our actual wedding Lauren went above and beyond. There was an emergency flash flood warning in NYC on the day of my wedding and Lauren came with smiles and an amazing attitude. She made us feel so comfortable and happy. She was amazing to work with and even took photos of our dog and baby on the wedding day as well. Her whole team was professional. We loved the way all the photos came out- timeless and really captured the essence of the wedding. Cannot say enough great things about Lauren! -

Hiring Lauren as our wedding photographer was one of the best and easiest decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Her pictures speak for themselves, but what you can't see on Instagram is how wonderful the person behind the camera truly is. Lauren is personable and funny, and makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Right from the beginning, Lauren helped us draft our day-of timelines based on sunset for our wedding date. She even mailed us a 'Welcome Wedding Guide' with wedding tips and a list of recommended vendors which we found to be so helpful. Lauren went above-and-beyond every step of the way and curated the perfect and most organized experience. She was always quick to respond to e-mails and texts, quick to deliver sneak peaks and albums, was always very flexible and accommodating, and never made us feel rushed. On our wedding day, she prepared a detailed plan to capture all highlight moments and family formals, and made sure that we stayed on schedule. She's not a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, but at times it really felt like we had that level of support. Lauren is a classic, timeless wedding photographer, and we love how her pictures tell a story and capture raw, genuine, and authentic emotion. She truly listened and took time getting to know us which we really appreciated, and I know that we will be in-touch with Lauren when we need a photographer for other important milestones. -

We’ve been telling our friends that a good wedding photographer can take great photos, but an amazing one can do that plus understand the bride and groom’s emotions at any given second, direct the groups effortlessly so the wedding stays on schedule, and more. Lauren Kearns is an AMAZING wedding photographer.
From the moment we met Lauren for our engagement photos last July, she made us feel so comfortable, really leaned into our photogenic strengths, and created engagement photos that were beyond what we could have ever dreamed of. We instantly had no doubts that she would be just as wonderful to work with on our wedding day, and we were right. From the very beginning of our wedding day prep, through first looks, group photos and party photos, Lauren and her team were right by our side getting the most amazing shots and keeping our group on schedule throughout the process. We never felt that her team was in the way of the wedding, yet they managed to capture every moment perfectly. We cannot thank Lauren and her team enough for our incredible first batch of wedding photos and we are so excited to see the full gallery in the coming weeks! -

Lauren is simply the BEST and we can never thank her enough for capturing our engagement and wedding day so perfectly. She is so talented and her photos come out beautifully, on top of that she is super organized and reliable, and just so easy to be around and get along with! Lauren did our engagement shoot in GA where my parents live; she had never been to the location before but after just a few minutes of scoping it out, she knew exactly which backdrops would make for the best photos. When it comes to actually taking the photos, she really makes you feel confident and natural in what otherwise could feel awkward never having done it before! We felt so at ease on our wedding day too knowing we could trust her to get all of the shots we wanted (along with ones we didn't even know we wanted!) all while keeping to the schedule. She is able to take charge and be directive while maintaining such a sweet and calming presence. Our families and wedding party made so many comments to us about how amazing she was on our wedding day. We received several photos the morning after our wedding, a large preview gallery a week later, and then we had ALL of our photos within a few more weeks! Lauren is incredible and we could not imagine our wedding day without her!! Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend her more highly!!! Lauren is above and beyond the best in the business! Her work is elite. I work in the wedding industry and I have encountered many many photographers who are good, but Lauren is exceptional. When I got engaged I booked her as soon as she told me she was available! She sets you up for success from the moment you book your date. Her process ensures that she gets to know you as a couple so that you are comfortable with her and in front of her lens. She is meticulous with details which is one of the things that makes her images so special. She notes what people/things/pets are important and makes sure to lovingly capture them in her images. I especially appreciated her timeline which maps out your whole wedding day to make sure you get every photo you need AND stay on time to actually enjoy your entire wedding. She also turned around the images so quickly (during PEAK wedding season)! We were looking at the first set of "preview" photos while on our honeymoon a week later and the full gallery was available in less than 2 months! Wedding photos are the physical memories and absolute treasures of that day - Lauren not only captures the moments, she also captures the love and the emotion of the day. She is a dream to work with - easy going, upbeat, efficient, creative, genuine, and the hardest-working vendor of them all! Book her asap!! -

Incredible photographer and person
The best wedding photographer out there. Lauren photographed my sister’s wedding in 2019. When looking at wedding venues, we narrowed it down to where we were getting married and there were 2 Saturdays open in July. Lauren was only available for 1 of the Saturdays, so that made our decision easy! Yes, Lauren is so good that you would want to choose your wedding date to make sure she is the photographer. We had so much fun doing our engagement shoot with her, and the best time during the day of the wedding. She is funny, calm and has the absolute best energy. I thought I was going to be nervous during pictures before the ceremony/wedding, but she kept it so fun. The bridal party all loved her. The guys even enjoyed taking the pictures AND 8 kids in our wedding all under 10. Other guests even commented on how funny and nice she is. We then started to receive pictures and words don’t do it justice for her work. We are forever grateful for the images she was able to capture of our special day. I cannot stop looking at them, almost a month later. Lauren is so organized, lovely to work with and captures stunning images. I could not recommend Lauren enough.

It is so hard to put into words how lucky we feel to have found Lauren for our special day! From the moment we hired Lauren, we knew we had made the best decision. My husband and I are not photogenic and rarely take photos, and Lauren made us both feel confident from our first shoot with her (our engagement shoot). She is such a calming presence and so much fun to work with. She is so efficient with time, willing to work with any specific requests, and truly made our wedding day so perfect - and the photos are absolutely stunning!! Her and her second shooter, Barb helped capture the small details of our day that made it so special, and made all of our friends and family feel comfortable in front of the camera. Hiring Lauren was definitely one of the best decisions we made! -

Lauren Kearns was simply the best choice for a wedding photographer that I could have ever asked for! From the very beginning, she was easy to talk to and I felt comfortable reaching out to her with my many wedding related questions. Like many others, my now-husband and I had to make some changes to our wedding due to Covid, and Lauren could not have been more flexible. What someone may not realize is that on their own wedding day, their photographer is truly the person they spend the most time with, so it is so important to have someone that brings a fun and relaxed vibe to the day! Lauren was just that and so much more. Between her and her second shooter, Barb, they had us smiling and laughing all day. The night of our wedding when we got back to the hotel, Lauren sent through an email with some "sneak peak" photos from the wedding day and we absolutely loved sharing those with our friends and family at brunch the next morning. The remainder of the photos were turned around in such a short amount of time. My husband and I looked at all the photos together and I think we have over 100 "favorite photos". Lauren's style is classic, natural, and timeless. I know her photography style will never look "trendy" when we look back on photos for years and years to come. -

Extremely talented, dynamic photographer!! Thank you for capturing EVERY MOMENT!!
Our decision to hire Lauren as our engagement and of course wedding photographer is easily the best decision we made! She stuck with us over a 2-year engagement, through COVID uncertainty and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable throughout the entire process! We were definitely "photo newbies" when we hired Lauren for our engagement shoot July 2019. She drove all the way down to Longwood Gardens in PA, where I used to go all the time with my grandmother growing up and where Nick and I still visit every Christmas. It was nearly 100F that day, and she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and braved the oppressive heat for nearly three hours, through countless locations around the grounds and two wardrobe changes. Not only did we have so much fun with Lauren, the photos were of course beautiful! So we just knew that she would be with us on our wedding as well!
The day of the wedding was crazy to say the least, but Lauren was amazing in the weeks leading up, giving specific tips and instructions that helped us get and stay organized. She spent actual hours going over a minute-by-minute plan for the entire day, which made me feel so calm. She and Barb (photographer for the groom) worked seamlessly as a team to capture literally every moment of the day, as well as the gorgeous venue from all of its angles! Lauren is a true professional. Our guests still tell us today how infectious Lauren's smile and positive attitude was, and I know the groomsmen all had a BLAST with Barb during the getting ready photos. Lauren checked in with me all night, worked with our videographer (different company), and somehow managed to keep in touch with the venue staff, coordinators and the band leader and M/C all night to ensure we didn't miss any moments! Without her guidance and experience, we would never have been able to relax and just enjoy our day. Lauren's ability to capture emotion and special moments so quickly really helped us move through our huge family portrait list, and still fit in a beautiful couple's portrait session even without a first look (our preference) and a ceremony that started 45-min late!
One last thing: if you are a bride who is curious or nervous about boudoir shoots, my 1:1 session with Lauren was not only one of the best experiences I've had, but also helped me get to know Lauren more and feel more comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera.
I could go on and on, but just want to say if you are still looking for a photographer, look no further! Lauren is the best, and I can't wait to work with her again!! -

If you are looking for the absolute best wedding photographer, look no further. From helping me plan the wedding day details to minutes before I walked down the aisle, Lauren made us feel as though we were in the best possible hands. Lauren’s personality and professionalism shine through when you work with her, and her work speaks for itself! The day after our wedding, Lauren sent us a sneak peek and within a week we had our full “sneak peek” online album. The only difficult thing about the photos, is trying to pick our favorite because it’s nearly impossible, they are all simply that good. The compilation of beautiful memories she captured from that day exemplify the talent that she has, and I promise that no one would regret choosing her to be with part of their big day! -

Having Lauren capture our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy but Lauren was so comforting, professional, responsive and flexible throughout the entire process! When my fiance decided that he was going to propose he reached out to Lauren a few days before and asked if she was available to take some photos. From the moment I met Lauren on the most special day I knew that I needed her to be there for the big day. Lauren went above and beyond at the surprise proposal to where I had no idea that she was even a photographer setting up to capture the moment. Since December of 2018 we have shot with Lauren three times and each time I'm more amazed than the last. She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the photos always come out amazing. I cannot wait for our wedding day and to have Lauren there with us! Lauren is absolutely AMAZING. Hiring her as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. She is so incredibly talented and the pictures that she captured in both our engagement session and wedding were more beautiful than we could have hoped for. It was seriously so hard to pick our favorites to use- which is the best problem to have! On our wedding day the beach where we were doing our first look was windy and drizzling and she still somehow made our pictures come out stunning.
Not only is she the best photographer, but she is the kindest person. She was so calming to work with and really made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable for us and our entire wedding party.
As for the planning- Lauren is SO responsive and helpful. She truly does go above and beyond from helping to recommend other vendors to setting up happy hours for past and future brides to meet!
We can't wait for our family members/friends to use Lauren at their wedding in the future so we can work with her (& hang out with her again - she's really that awesome). We HIGHLY recommend choosing Lauren as she will take the most stunning pictures whether it be at the beach, mountains or golf course- she just has the eye for the most beautiful spots regardless of where you are!

From day one Lauren has been such an amazing and calming energy. Our first meeting was in Mantoloking, NJ for our beach sunrise engagement shoot. For whatever reason, it ended up being one of the windiest days we’ve ever seen and of course Lauren somehow made us look incredible. That’s when we knew we booked the best.
The morning of the wedding was of course a bit chaotic but the second I saw Lauren walk in my nerves truly faded. She was able to orchestrate the bridal party, our parents and Scott and myself in such a seamless manner and even gave us a little preview of the photos during our dinner!
In our opinion, the photographer is one of the most important parts of your wedding day. They capture moments you want to remember, don’t remember (!), and maybe even missed! Lauren was such a big part of our day and we are so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her and can’t wait to work with her again in the future. -

We Recommend Her Whole Heartedly!
For us, choosing a photographer was probably one of the hardest parts of planning a wedding, and it only made it harder having artists and photographers in the family. Not only are you concerned about the quality of the images that you’ll have for the rest of your life, but you’re also worried about being comfortable enough with the photographer to be able to relax, have fun, and actually feel good while getting photographed. From day one, we felt that connection with Lauren. We were so nervous about our engagement shoot, but one hug from Lauren made those worries go away. She told us exactly what to do, where to stand, how to look, etc., which took all the pressure off of us and made the whole experience enjoyable. The pictures came out amazing, so we knew we made the right choice for our wedding. On the wedding day, Lauren outdid herself. She captured all the shots we knew we wanted, stuck to the timeline, nailed it with the kids (ie. sang songs to them while photographing them), and absolutely delivered on capturing the best day of our lives. Everything Lauren touches has such thought and love poured into it! We can’t say enough good things about Lauren and neither can all our family and guests. We recommend her whole heartedly! -

I worked with Lauren at a photography studio as an intern one summer, with a pro photographer who was trusted to take my family's photos for years, so I knew she learned some tricks from one of the best. When she left to start her own studio, I knew who my wedding photographer would be before I knew who my husband would be. She is so sweet and fun, makes people genuinely smile in photos, and knows just how and where to place people to get the perfect shot. The photos from my wedding in May were fantastic, even though it was raining pretty much all day, and I was ASTOUNDED by the quality and amount of prints she sent me in a GORGEOUS box along with digitals. I have gotten SO many compliments on my photos as well as the fact that it felt like Lauren and her assistant got so many wonderful photos without feeling "intrusive" on the day. Plus, you won't find a better value for the quality when you go with Lauren. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone getting married in her area! -

Lauren was one of the first vendors we booked when we began planning our wedding almost two years ago. From our first phone call, Lauren was a calming, organized, and laugh-inducing presence. During our engagement session, she was patient with my fiance and our dog as we awkwardly navigated taking photos in NYC on Sunday afternoon (we brought wine- at her suggestion!). Planning our big day became easier as we got closer to it, because Lauren was so proactive and helpful- especially in regards to creating and adjusting the timeline of our big day. During the wedding day itself, Lauren was such a pleasure to have around and she even helped me decide which earrings to wear! Aside from Lauren being the kind of girl that you'd want to grab a drink with(Lauren, can we be friends??), her photos are STUNNING. I've received endless compliments on photos from both our engagement session and our wedding day, and at the end of the craziness that is planning a wedding, you're left with your photos. I can't imagine if mine were from anyone but her! -

Before meeting with her, I had very little idea of the ebb and flow of my wedding day, however I left our first meeting with a very concrete plan and itinerary. Lauren's organization and attention to detail was evident throughout our entire series of interactions. The day of our wedding, she was both flexible and patient, yet still kept us, the wedding party and families, on schedule to ensure that we had the beautiful pictures to reflect the magical day.
