Amazing photos!

We are so happy with Lauren's photos from our wedding last June! Lauren was very easy to work with from the start - she made us feel so comfortable in our initial phone call and our engagement shoot (which she was very flexible about rescheduling due to rain!). She helped us come up with a great timeline for photos on our wedding day that accommodated our requests about not missing too much of the reception. She also got our photos back to us much faster than we were expecting! They turned out so beautifully and we are so grateful for all of the memories that she was able to capture!

So much fun!

Lauren did an amazing job from our engagement photos to our wedding. We had a blast, laughing the whole time. Our photos turned out so natural and truly captured our happiness. Her style was great for my husband who came into the photo experience not being the most comfortable as the center of attention. She put both of us at ease and it showed in the final product. Lauren was also phenomenal with communication and organization in the months leading to the wedding. We could always rely on her to promptly answer our questions in a thorough, professional manner. We could not have been more thrilled and highly recommend Lauren for any photography needs!

Fantastic Photographer!

Working with Lauren was one of the best parts of our engagement and wedding day. She is such a nice person with a great eye for photography! Amazing photographer

Lauren was easy to work with the from start. She worked with us on our somewhat non traditional wedding and created a package perfect for the event. Her communication was excellent leading up to the event. When we finally got to meet Lauren, she was like an immediate friend. We felt so comfortable and it was so natural having her there at our wedding. The photos came in a cute package and her work is phenomenal. The pictures far exceeded our expectations. The backdrops were beautiful and she captured the essence of our wedding. She took formal and casual shots. The in the moment shots were my favorite, you could see the true emotions shine through. I would 110% recommend Lauren to any couple looking for a photographer. She is a very talented photographer and our experience was an 11/10!

Amazing experience working with Lauren

We had spoken with many photographers and we didn't click with anyone else like we did with Lauren. She was very professional, responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. She was fun and quirky, making us both feel comfortable and the pictures turned out beautifully! We had all of our edited photos within 5 weeks of the wedding and she sent a sweet care package with the flash drive, some prints, and cute Mr. and Mrs. gifts. We really enjoyed working with Lauren and had an amazing experience!

Beautiful photos and a pleasure to work with!

Lauren was wonderful to work with. One of the first things I told her was that I hate photos of myself, and she said it was her mission to make me like myself in photos :) She was extremely warm and kind, especially during our engagement shoot when we were very nervous. She walked all over the engagement shoot location with us, and even humored me when I really wanted a photo of my ring on a flower with a bee. She is very down-to-earth and made us feel very comfortable. On our wedding day, I was so excited to see her that people thought she was a friend and not our photographer! She really took her time with my husband and me, and made sure we got plenty of beautiful photos around our venue. She has a great eye for lighting, even though people might try to move her location - she knows what she is doing. Everyone is raving about how beautiful our photos are. She has even been extra responsive and accommodating to make a few tweaks to our sparkler photos. I highly recommend Lauren both as a person and a photographer! Thank you so much!

Wonderful!

Lauren was absolutely wonderful to work with and my husband and I could not have been happier with our choice to use her as our wedding photographer. Both our engagement session and wedding photographs turned out beautifully. She captured our day perfectly and I could not be more grateful! Lauren made everyone feel incredibly comfortable and she was overall such a pleasure to work with. Amazing and elegant

Both fiancé and I were very nervous about having our photos taken. Both of us are a little camera shy, but of course on your wedding day it is important to have nice photos to document and cherish the special day. Lauren from start to finish made this process very easy. When we first met up she was very warm and welcoming and it was easy to feel comfortable. She was able to guide us in such a way where it felt natural. This was shown through her work from the engagement photos through the wedding photos. Lauren and her second photographer, Sarah, were both very professional and talented. The wedding photos taken are works of art. It was really difficult narrow down some photos for an album. I highly recommend Lauren.

Lauren is amazing!

Lauren is the absolute best. Without question we discuss frequently how lucky WE were as a couple to have found HER for our wedding.

1) She takes the time to understand you and what you're looking for from a photographer.

2) She very effectively organizes your day of timeline without making it too rigid.

3) She helped relieve day of wedding stress - even through the 30 family shots, pared down from 60 on the original list.

4) She gives very timely, warranted, and fair advice in a polite way to help you avoid day-of traps that will stress you out.

5) She is 100% part of the reason our day went smoothly.

6) She is extremely responsive even after you hire her, which is something to celebrate. For comparison, we only managed to get our caterer on the phone 2 times before the wedding, which was not ideal.

7) Do you really need 7 reasons? Hire Lauren now. Don't let someone else book her. Stop reading this. GO!

Lauren is just wonderful. I had contacted a number of photographers for my now husband and I to meet with and Lauren was our first scheduled meeting. After meeting with her, we canceled the rest of the interviews and never looked back! Even after just that first meeting, we immediately wanted to be friends with Lauren. Is that weird? She is laid-back and funny and both a science nerd and an artist. She always made us feel comfortable and wasn't bossy or over-the-top in her demeanor. Despite striking out on "good light" for both our engagement photo session and our wedding day (we had blasting sun and solid cloud cover, respectively), Lauren went with the flow and made it work and we absolutely love the resulting photographs. Her and her second shooter Rosie were very unobtrusive on our wedding day and captured so many moments that made us laugh, cry, and swoon over when looking through the photos afterwards. We have received compliments from the wedding party and every person who has viewed any of our photos. Advice to future brides - the wedding day goes by in such a blur, so do not skimp on your photography vendor! Lauren C Photography is worth every single penny.

Lauren did an amazing job photographing our wedding. We interviewed a number of photographers and felt that Lauren really worked to understand us and what we wanted out of our wedding photography, and struck the right tone between professional and friendly. When we went to Pataspsco State Park for our engagement shoot, we discovered that our planned location was flooded. Lauren was quick to adapt to the situation, found a new spot to shoot, and the pictures came out great. We were really pleased to see that when the unexpected happened, she did not panic but worked with the situation and turned out a great set of photos. We knew we would be covered if something happened at our wedding, which was great peace of mind.

For our wedding she was exactly as we expected. She was fun to be around without inserting herself into the day, dressed professionally, and got a lot of pictures without people even realizing she was there. Most impressively, when my large family wanted to get a full-family shot, she managed to get an amazing group shot with about 25 people in the photo. I’m not sure how she did it but everyone looks great, and I’m so glad to have a photo of my family from that day. We got one with my husband’s family too!

The photo quality is stunning, and as we looked through the photo gallery with our families we heard a lot of “it’s like reliving the day, I really feel like I’m there again.”

Lauren did our wedding shoot and did an amazing job! We didn't do a traditional wedding with all the bells and whistles, but Lauren was extremely flexible, put us at ease, and delivered gorgeous pictures. At no point did we feel like we weren't doing "wedding" right, and she was a pleasure to work with. I'd recommend her for anyone looking for a painless sure bet on beautiful wedding photos.

Lauren captured our engagement pictures and was so amazing to work with! The email correspondence prior to the shoot was professional but also felt like I was chatting with a friend. During the shoot, she was so incredibly patient and funny, which made the whole experience really comfortable. My husband accidentally got mud on his pants before we even started, and Lauren was so accommodating. She offered to reschedule, but luckily he had another pair and we ended up laughing off the incident and moving forward with the shoot. I love the pictures she took! We ended up eloping so I didn't have save-the-dates to use them for, but I'm planning on gifting framed prints to our families for Christmas. I'm so glad we ending up working with Lauren and I would recommend her to anyone planning their own wedding!

We were so happy with our experience and pictures with Lauren. Right from the beginning we knew she would be a great personality fit for us and my sister who is a professional photographer immediately loved her portfolio. Then when she did our engagement pictures we were so happy with them that we knew it would make for a perfect wedding day. After selecting a wedding venue & setting a date, the next logical step was to find a photographer who could capture the essence of the best day of our lives!
After creating a list of nearly 25 photographers, narrowing it down and meeting with 5- Lauren was an easy pick as the top contender. Whether over email, or in person, there was an instant ease with Lauren. She is personable, friendly, professional and knows how to be goofy which is exactly what the two of us needed when figuring out how to pose for pictures.

In addition to her awesome personality, Lauren is a stellar photographer. She has a way of capturing the light and color, and create a natural glow. Picture after picture you can see her skill as an artist. Her photos are soft which is the perfect manner to reflect what our relationship should be. You can feel the love in her photos!

Lauren creates such a personal touch, not just with the photography itself but with her communication and follow up. Rather than just sending out an email with a link to pictures post-wedding, she mailed us an adorably creative gift box and had prints from our wedding in there. There's something about sifting through real picture prints versus just an online gallery that feels so personal.

We love Lauren so much that we instantly referred her to my husband's brother and his fiance who will be getting married next month. Not only are we excited to see how their pictures turn out, we are excited to spend time with Lauren again because she truly is an awesome person in addition to being a brilliant photographer.

Lauren shot our engagement photo session, and it was one of the best decisions I have made in the wedding planning process! She was professional and provided enough direction to create beautiful photographs, but she was sweet and funny, keeping us completely relaxed throughout the process. She was flexible and accommodating when the weather did not cooperate on our original date. The photos were absolutely gorgeous, and I cannot stop looking through our gallery months later. We purchased Lauren's top package which included 10 hours with two shooters, photo book, online gallery and an engagement session. For our engagement session, Lauren was willing to stop by our home first to ensure we captured a few shots with our dog before heading to a downtown area for shots of the two of us. She made both my fiancé and I feel super comfortable through the whole experience and we ended up with some really fantastic shots despite the frigid morning. Lauren again braved the weather for us on our wedding day. She expertly handled the day, staying in the background to get the action shots and stepping forward firmly when needed to corral friends and family for required portraits. My husband and I were thrilled with the final product - we have > 1,000 photos from our wedding capturing all the best moments. From the details in the room, to action dancing shots... from portraits of the bridal party to family photos, each photo is better than the one before it. Lauren and her second shooter Anna were absolutely wonderful to work with and we would recommend them to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

The owner, Lauren, photographed our engagement photos in Old Town Alexandria (2014) and our wedding in Arlington (2016), and we could not be more happy! From our very first conversations, Lauren was always professional, attentive, and accommodating when it came to our vision and our requests. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. The photos exceeded our expectations (which were already quite high), and we were so happy to have such a great collection of photos to share with our friends and family. Lauren will literally climb mountains for you! Working with her was an absolute dream! Lauren coordinated closely with my fiancee to photograph his proposal and a surprise engagement session and eagerly and easily navigated the terrain of Great Falls National Park to capture that amazing moment for us. She then totally topped herself for our wedding day with gorgeous shots at every special moment, including a breathtaking "First Look" session at Swallow Falls in Garrett County, Maryland.

In addition to the incredible shots at Swallow Falls, Lauren also captured gorgeous "action shots" during our ceremony and reception. She didn't miss a beat, including during our first dance that had a lot of spins and twirls all over the dance floor. She zipped right along with us! Lauren is very skilled at blending into the background when needed, which creates a relaxed atmosphere making for even more beautiful shots.

Lauren is a wonderful person and a balance of easy-going and efficient -- very important qualities for keeping things organized during wedding elements that can easily turn stressful. Lauren photographed my husband and me for both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. I still find so much joy in looking through the lovely moments she captured on both of those occasions. I consider the money spent on hiring Lauren to do the photography for our wedding some of the best spent money on our wedding. Every exchange I had with Lauren over the 8 to 10 month period of time I booked her and then through emailing after our wedding, was so professional but at the same time, Lauren has a personality that just makes you immediately feel comfortable ,which I believe to be so important when you know this person is going to be with you during some of the most special moments of your life. I also especially appreciated the perspective and advice that Lauren provided. There's so much to consider when you're planning a wedding and understanding the impact that one decision has on so many other areas of your planning. Whenever I had a question for Lauren that I knew would have an impact on the photography in some way, she was so helpful in providing her perspective. She never shared her opinion in a way that made me feel obligated to make a certain decision. Instead, she just provided things for me to consider but always assured me regardless of my decision. Aside from Lauren being such a pleasure to work with, her product (the photos she produces) are absolutely beautiful! I was so impressed with the artistry that was shown in her photos. I've received so many compliments from people that have seen my wedding pictures. And I don't just mean the typical, "your photos look so nice." No, people have commented specifically on the exceptional job that Lauren did in finding beautiful angles, backdrops, poses, etc. for all of our photos. Lauren is a childhood friend of mine and I always knew that when I got married that she would be the one to capture our Big Day! Lauren is the sweetest and made us feel totally at ease during both our engagement photo shoot and wedding. We were extremely nervous to be the center of attention and be part of a profession shoot, but she knows just how to get that perfect shot (or hundred) that you can't wait to display in your home. After talking to Lauren on the phone for the first time, my husband and I knew that she was perfect photographer for us. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel relaxed (not easy for two people not used to photos), and they turned out beautifully. At our wedding, she was super flexible and worked with us to make sure everything was done efficiently (important when it's incredibly hot), and creatively. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and she handled changes and impromptu photos amazingly. I can't wait to see the final results, and I feel so lucky to have had her as our photographer!

Lauren C is the absolute best! My husband and I were so fortunate to have landed such a professional, generous, and laid-back photographer - in a sea of hundreds of photography options - on our wedding day! Lauren was extremely buttoned-up and responsive to all of our questions leading up to the big day. But most importantly, she made two camera-shy odd balls feel super comfortable the entire day! Being an out of state bride, it was difficult to decide who we would use for our wedding vendors. I had to rely off of a few friends for word of mouth, but mainly the knot and wedding wire. I stumbled across Lauren's portfolio and was AMAZED at her talent and beautiful pictures! After reading a ton of positive reviews, we decided to book her. BEST DECISION EVER!! Lauren is so sweet, professional, talented, easy to work with...the list goes on and on! And we absolutely LOVE our wedding photos!! Lauren is the best!! It was so much fun to work with her for both our engagement pictures and our wedding. I can't wait to see the final product! Throughout the entire process Lauren was professional and communicative and especially on our rainy wedding day she was super flexible. I think due to her creativity we got some amazing shots in the rain. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to have been our wedding photographer. I can't say enough nice things about her!

I initially saw Lauren at work at my friend's wedding. My friend's photos looked amazing, so I got in touch with Lauren. Not only is her work amazing, but she is a lot of fun to work with! Lauren took the time to meet with us to go over different packages and worked with us to tailor a package to meet our needs. Our engagement session turned out beautifully despite a crazy, windy day. She knew just what to do to set the scene for a perfect picture!

Leading up to the wedding day my inner bridezilla was starting to come out ;) Lauren took the time to meet me at our venue to select backdrops and come up with a game plan to put me at ease. The day of she was so flexible and really went with the flow of the day. There were some impromptu photo opportunities that arose and she was able to get all of the photos we wanted.

We just recently got our photos back and we love them! Lauren definitely takes the time to put the finishing touches on all of the photographs. We loved working with her!

Lauren and her second shooter, Anna, did an amazing job the day of the wedding. Both before and during the wedding, Lauren was organized, communicative, and easy to work with. Even though it was boiling hot the day of (they literally were dripping!), they were both energetic and friendly. The photos were perfect and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came out! All of the guests loved the photos, and she really captured the vibrant colors and the beauty of the venue. The turnaround for the photos was fast and they even came in an adorable care package! Finally, the price was quite reasonable, especially for everything that we got (8 hours, a canvas, and second shooter) and the quality of her work. I would definitely recommend Lauren C!

We absolutely loved working with Lauren for our engagement & wedding photographs. She is super easy to communicate with and makes you feel comfortable in the whole process. We were really nervous when we had our engagement session but working with Lauren is like working with your friend. We all had a blast taking photos on our wedding day and Lauren captured the most amazing pictures. A couple of days after our wedding, Lauren posted a few sneak peaks, then a couple weeks later she posts on her blog some of the highlight photos, then only about 5 weeks later, we got all of our pictures! It was nice that we didn't have to wait the entire time without seeing some of them. Lauren's price point is extremely reasonable as well. It took my husband some convincing to spend ANY money on pictures, but he said our photos were worth every penny. Our friends and family couldn't say enough good words about Lauren's work. We recommend Lauren to everyone we know who is getting married!

I found Lauren through a friend and when we met Lauren she made us feel really comfortable. We first had our engagement pictures and learned all of the couple poses, which was a really fun day. On our summer wedding day it rained all day and I was very nervous about the ceremony(it was occurring outside under a tent) and pictures. She came prepared with several umbrellas and a shower curtain to stand on in the wet grass due to the earlier rain. You can't even tell I am standing on a shower curtain in rain boots! The pictures were beautiful, we had so many to choose from, and she caught so many special moments that I had forgotten about. Our photos came in a box filled with mementos and it was such a nice personal touch. Any questions I may have had during the planning process were answered right away and she gave us great suggestions for maximizing our photo timeline. I loved working with Lauren and would recommend her to everyone!

Lauren is a must! Lauren was amazing throughout the process from the beginning to the end. She was super accessible prior to the wedding. The day of she got wonderful shots but was not obtrusive. Lauren photographed our engagement pictures as well as our wedding. We were soooo nervous but Lauren put us at ease and within 5 minutes we were laughing together and having a fantastic time. Going into wedding planning I knew I wanted an excellent photographer because at the end of the day you remember your wedding by looking at the pictures. Like many brides I spent hours going through photographer’s blogs when I happened to find Lauren’s. While stalking her posts I came across an old co-worker’s wedding that Lauren did whose pictures were amazing. Coincidence?!
Lauren was my favorite vendor to work with. She is very detail oriented and on top of her email which I really appreciated. She honored my picture requests, sought out the perfect location for pictures, corralled our families to get family pictures over in less than 10 minutes, went above and beyond to get the perfect shot (including running around a small lake, blocking a road etc. ) and handled a difficult coordinator. She is very easy to get along with and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Lauren!

Lauren was THE BEST! As you can see from the other reviews and sample pictures, she is talented and very professional. We were nervous going into our engagement photos because we aren't naturals at posing for pictures but Lauren definitely eases any nerves and we felt way more at ease on our wedding day knowing she was going to be behind the camera. She also has a great eye for picking out good locations in unexpected places. We had our engagement shoot in federal hill but the best shots of the day came from the rows of trees by the side of key highway that she found as we were walking to our next location. Looking at the pictures you would think we were in some enchanted forest! So even if it seems crazy in the moment, she is willing to take risks to get the best pictures. From the first meeting with her to receiving our final photos, everything went very smoothly. She makes sure she is prepared with the schedule before the big day so she knows what is going on and where she needs to be. I also love that she adds a personal touch by actually getting to know your story as a couple and doing a write-up in her blog when she posts the pictures. Which, in addition, is a nice way to share a snippet the pictures with friends and family. I will also add that she is super quick with editing and getting photos back to you. She's super nice and a ton of fun to work with, I would recommend her to anyone!!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Lauren! She worked with us to customize a package to fit our tight budget, and made the entire process very easy. She was so helpful on our wedding day with coordinating the photos, setting up a timeline, and helping us figure out how to pose (not our strong suit!). The resulting photos are absolutely amazing!!! We love love love them, and I recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer!! I will absolutely choose her for any photography needs I have from now on! Lauren is an amazing photographer and so easy/lovely to work with. I could not recommend her more highly. I must have looked at a thousand photographer blogs when we started planning our wedding. We eventually came across Lauren’s blog when we were researching wedding venues as she’d photographed a wedding at a venue we were considering. Boy am I glad we found her! We immediately fell in love with her photos and set up an appointment with her. After meeting we knew she’d be the perfect photographer for our wedding. She has a laid back and friendly personality which really made us comfortable with her. She is super talented and really knows what poses and lighting make for great pictures. It was very easy to work with her. On the wedding day she was calm, professional and efficient and made sure to get pictures of EVERYTHING. One thing I really love and appreciated from Lauren was the fact that she was able to accommodate our schedule, especially in the first part of the day. We wanted getting ready photos of both bride and groom, separate bridal party photos and photos of the ceremony and reception décor before the start of the ceremony because we weren’t doing a first look. We were working with a limited timeframe to get it all done, but she was able to get all the shots we wanted. In the end, we will have photos that we’ll treasure forever. I recommend her 100% to anyone looking for a photographer in the DC/MD area.

I can't say enough about the wonderful, amazing job Lauren did on our wedding. Immediately after meeting Lauren, I knew she would be our photographer. She was super excited about shooting at our wedding venue (the AVAM) and provided some shots she had taken previously around the location. Leading up to the wedding, she was very responsive and was very detailed in making sure that our schedule and types of pictures we wanted were on point. On the day of the wedding, she was absolutely fantastic. Not only did she handle some of the rowdy groomsmen with great humor but she was also very accommodating with some of our requests and the pictures turned out amazing!!! Within a few weeks of the wedding she had a preview of pictures posted on her blog with some funny commentary and had a nice little package out to us with some nice pictures already printed along with a thumb drive of all the pictures. Where do I begin with Lauren? From the very first day we met her, I knew she was going to be amazing. Over a year before our wedding day, I spent hours and hours scouring the internet for a photographer. My husband and I were very picky--we didn't want anything too staged, we wanted it to not be cookie-cutter, we wanted high quality and we wanted someone that we got along with well. We'd heard so many horror stories of crazy and rude photographers that ruined the day--and we weren't having that! In my searches on The Knot, I came across Lauren. I checked out her reviews and her blog and I was floored. I screamed for my husband to come into the room and look at my computer, and we both agreed that we had to have Lauren do our photos! We chose one of Lauren's packages that included a second shooter and an engagement session, but we had already had our engagement pictures done, so Lauren was flexible enough to give us an extra hour with her on our big day instead. Not many photographers would do that. Lauren met with us over coffee several months before the wedding and ran us through her process and even helped answer some of my planning questions. Lauren always stayed in touch up until the wedding day, and on our big day, she arrived early and all smiles. She immediately cheered me up while I was crying because I thought my hair made my head look square. Lauren was constantly catching details and I didn't have to worry about a thing while getting ready. Meanwhile, her second shooter Melissa was over with the boys. Lauren and Melissa followed to the church and kept family pictures rolling, we were done in like 10 minutes! They followed us to our photo location and kept it moving, they had a sense of humor and were joking along with my bridal party. They then came with us to the reception location and spent the night catching every moment while having fun.. All of my family and friends commented on how polite and funny Lauren was, and I couldn't have picked a better photographer to share our special day with! I cannot wait to see our pictures! I found Lauren because I was stalking other brides' pictures at my venue (Hunt Valley Golf Club) and she had done another wedding there. I instantly fell in love with her pictures and blog. She was my first choice for a photographer and I was able to book her for our big day. I am so glad I did!! Her packages were very reasonable, and she is organized (which I am kind of an organizational freak, so I really appreciate anyone that gets back to me right away, tells me what they need from me in advance, etc.). Lauren did beautiful engagement pictures - and then my wedding pictures. Just WOW. She loves her job and you can tell in every picture. I already look back at my pictures and know she caught every moment, every emotion - perfectly. She bought a second shooter the day of the wedding, and they both made my husband and I feel so comfortable. We both on slightly camera shy, and she got us to really open up. The best decision we made regarding our wedding was having Lauren as our photographer for our big day. If I had to write a review with just three words, I would say "Lauren is awesome!" Finding a photographer that was in my budget and that both my fiance and I liked was a task. A lot of photographers are too pushy, too in your face, outrageously expensive, or just aren't good. I can honestly say that we hit the jackpot with Lauren because she was none of those things - she is incredibly talented. Her sense of humor and infectious laugh are what every bride needs on her wedding day. She even had the patience to deal with a family member photographer that 'got in the way.' ;-)

She also helped us a lot with making sure we were in flattering positions and gave us suggestions for poses, which I really appreciated. She had our pictures to us in a timely fashion and they were amazing. I highly recommend her to anyone.

We picked two photographers to interview based on their online pictures and their prices. We wanted to ensure we ended up with good pictures but really didn't want to pay a fortune for the pictures. When we met with Lauren she was just really nice, laid back, and we really liked her work. She was great to work with and was very responsive. At the wedding she was very patient, especially when trying to coordinate all of our family photos. She is definitely a great and easy person to work with.

We really lucked out finding a photographer like Lauren. Lauren was our photographer for both our engagement pictures as well as our wedding. She gives great direction and always finds the best and most unique shots. She definitely has that artistic eye! On the day of the wedding, as the bride, I was most concerned about time and even though I felt stressed about getting the pictures done before the wedding, she always maintained a level of calmness that definitely put me at ease. I cannot stress enough how excellent her time management skills are, which was great for the day of a wedding. Lauren is extremely professional, but she also has a great sense of humor that makes the sessions more fun. We will definitely be using her for our future family photography sessions as well!

Lauren was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She shot the ceremony and did before and after shots. She was very patient with the children that needed to be photographed. She took beautiful shots of my husband and I after the ceremony. I love the way she touched up the photos so that we would have black and whites as well as color photos. Finally, we didn't have to wait months to get the pictures. .

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Lauren. We could not meet Lauren in person before our wedding because Hurricane Sandy got in the way of our plans, but Lauren made herself available via phone and email. I even called her the night before the wedding to confirm the location of the "first look" since I was unsure about whether or not we would be able to use the location we had planned on.

She is very down to earth and we connected immediately with her sense of humor. She made us feel very relaxed and gave us direction while we had our pictures taken. She reminded me to keep my back straight and noticed cell phones popping out of the guys' pockets. At the same time, she took pictures throughout the day without being intrusive.

The church where we had our ceremony had somewhat strict rules about photography and Lauren was able to appease the pastor and still get beautiful pictures. After the wedding, many of our guests commented on how hard she was working throughout the wedding. Before the wedding, she asked me to complete a checklist of photos I wanted during the wedding and she got all of them and much more. We appreciated that she took a combination of different pictures that were both candid and not.

Lauren also sent us the DVDs of our wedding photos in a customized case using one of the pictures from the wedding. She also had it wrapped in a box that made getting our wedding photos even more exciting, especially since she did all of this before Christmas!

My husband and I are so happy with all of our wedding photos. We are so grateful to Lauren for capturing all of the memories that we will be able to keep for years to come.

I had lost my photographer 2 months before my wedding and by a combination of luck and fate I was able to find Lauren and she was available for my wedding date. I am one of those women that hates just about every picture that is taken of me but, somehow Lauren found a way to change that. My wedding pictures are gorgeous and everyone that I have shown them to comments about how amazing they are. The album she put together was so unique and honestly a work of art. Lauren was flexible and worked with me to make sure I was getting exactly what I was looking for. She was a pleasure to be around and I never once noticed she was taking our pictures. She found a way to take amazing shots without disrupting the moment. I would recommend her to anyone that is getting married and I can't wait to book a maternity shoot with her one day. There are not enough words in the English language to describe how pleased I am with Lauren's work and there is not a single person that has seen my wedding photos and has not had something fantastic to say about her work. I have no doubt she will soon be one of the most sought after wedding photographers in the area so make sure you grab her while you can!

I can't recommend Lauren enough! She came out to meet us beforehand, took a look at our colors and wedding decor to get an idea of the feel of the event, and even played with the dog since he was our ring bearer. Her photos came out awesome and we hardly noticed her for the majority of the day : ) great personality and it really shows in her photos!

From our first meeting with Lauren at Starbucks, to receiving the final prints in the mail; Lauren was just so sweet and extremely personable. She was easy to talk to, easy to work with, easy to get in touch with; she just made it such a pleasant experience. She wanted to hear about our love story, she was interested in all of our details, she even personalized our package of prints just for us. Besides her being a doll to work with, her photos were absolutely stunning. Looking through the pictures with my husband was like reliving the whole wedding experiance all over again, we both got choked up. She has such an eye for detail, she didn't miss a thing. I would definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer, my husband and I just adored her!

Lauren was so wonderful to work with! She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and also was great at managing our large bridal party and families. I felt like we got a lot of variety in the pictures from both our engagement session and wedding day - all beautifully edited as well. Since photography is not Lauren's full-time gig, it did take a little longer to receive our pictures (about 2 weeks for engagement photos and about 1 month for wedding photos). However, both we're certainly worth the wait.

Our wedding planner introduced us to Lauren, and we are so happy she did! One of the main reasons we decided to go with Lauren is her chill personality. I'm an anxious person, so my husband thought (correctly so) that Lauren might help keep me be more relaxed during the process. We had never been professionally photographed before, so we were a little nervous during the engagement session, but she put us right at ease. The photos came out AMAZING, and we knew we made the right decision. She also went well out of her way to accommodate our desired engagement session location, and we were very appreciative of that. Our wedding photos are lovely; it's a year later and I still look at them all the time! We got a very nice photo album as well with our package. Highly recommend Lauren! She's great!

Lauren was very flexible with our needs and knew what she was doing - I hardly knew she was there! She took the reins when she needed to in order to get things done and stepped back when she needed to so we could focus on our wedding day. When we received the package with the photos, we were so surprised and impressed with the entire presentation - so much more than we expected. Also, Lauren did a great job with making some of the not-so-picturesque venues look fabulous.

We were overall very pleased with Lauren's photographs of our wedding. The wedding day itself was very hot and that made it challenging for her to photograph us for long periods of time. The photos turned out beautifully, though. I would recommend to any bride to consider a second shooter - there were some instances where a few different angles may have led to a better photo.
