  Best photographer ever

  Lauren and Mallory are the DREAM TEAM. We have used them for our engagement pictures, engagement party, boudoir shoot and our wedding and all the photos are better than we could of even imagined. For our wedding, we had a 24 person bridal party in addition to my husband and I (26 people total) and Lauren/Mallory made what could of been very stressful and chaotic a fun and perfect environment. They also give fantastic direction—instead of just letting you stand there not looking perfect, they give fantastic cues about what to do to make you look your best! They are so bubbly, fun and energetic and I cannot enough wonderful things about them. Also, thanks to them being perfectionists and paying attention to every detail, everyone photographed looks perfect. I cannot thank them enough for all the memories they have photographed for us in the last year, and look forward to them taking pictures of all our monumental life events forever!

  Best decision you will make!

  Hiring Lauren and her team was the best decision I made for my wedding! I cannot put into words the talent and beauty of her work. My wedding day went by so fast and getting the absolutely GORGEOUS photos, let me relive those moments and immortalize the most beautiful day of my life. Besides for her obvious talent, Lauren and her team are friendly, fun, extremely well communicative, and give easy direction. When I say Lauren was the best decision I made for my wedding (minus the getting married part!) I really mean it. She has a natural talent that reminiscent of the MVPs of fashion and editorial photographers. Check out her instagram and you’ll see what I mean! Huge thank you to her and her entire team.

  The Dream Team

  Working with Lauren and her team was a dream. She was responsive from the very beginning and worked hard to deliver our vision for our wedding. We had a few calls with her prior to our wedding and she was just as responsive after our wedding as well. The day of, Lauren and her team brought the energy and made sure that we got some great pictures even though there were some hiccups that were totally out of their control. They got some great creative shots and made sure our day was extra special.
  Lauren and her team really do above and beyond, whether it's making sure you have water, being your personal cheerleaders, or anything else you may need throughout the day they really are something special! We are so grateful that they were our photographers for our big day. I highly recommend Lauren and her team, you will be in great hands if you go with them and you will not be disappointed!

  Amazing! The best!

  I cannot say enough about Lauren and her team. From the moment they showed up at our home/venue, they took the time to look over the spaces, and get to know us as a couple. Day of, their team showed up with plenty of positive energy. They make you truly feel like a star! They bring water, fan you, and keep you going for all of your photos. I'm so grateful of their services. And their turn around time with photos was unreal! Lauren and her team are so approachable and easy to talk to. I cannot recommend their services enough. Thank you, Lauren and your team for being amazing, flexible, quick, and one of a kind.

  Best wedding photographer EVER!!!

  Words genuinely can’t do it justice…. Lauren and her team were the most incredible photographers I could have asked for, for our wedding. They were so fun, warm, and professional the entire day- it felt like I had known them forever. Lauren did anything it took to get the shot, she knew exactly what she was doing- stuck to the timeline, and took absolutely all of the stress out of the day. She made everyone feel beautiful, and her team has us laughing all day long. All of our guests were so complimentary! We are forever grateful to Lauren and her team for our incredible pictures and experience on the best day of our lives.

  Amazing Wedding Photographer/Videographer!

  Where to even begin!? Lauren is someone I've known for a little while now and we used her for Christmas photos a few years ago. We knew when we got engaged that we HAD to have Lauren Ashley Studios as our photographer/videographer. She also did our engagement photos which turned out AMAZING. They are hands down the best wedding photographers ever.
  
  Leading up to our wedding I reached out and asked questions and they were always responsive and helpful. They also sent us a checklist of things to remember to bring on wedding day that I would not have thought of! The day of they showed up to our venue earlier than what we had originally planned because I had asked them if they could come take a few getting ready photos because I got my bridal party matching zip up hoodies. They had no problem switching things/times around and were very accommodating.
  
  The team came in and they were ready to go! They split up and conquered everything you could think of. We got married on 230 acres and they made sure to scope out the place to see where they wanted to do what shots where. They were even jumping up onto roofs to see if there was a good spot to hang my dress for photos! Very impressive.
  
  My husband, our entire bridal party, and I felt so comfortable with the whole team! They are SO much fun to work with! What we loved most is that they were all so helpful with anything that we needed. They helped out behind the scenes with putting on boutonnieres, helping me with my bustle because my Mother was MIA, fixing the flowers that were in my hair when needed, brought me some apps and water to eat/drink quickly before we went out for more photos, and MUCH more.
  
  This team goes above and beyond and makes you feel so incredibly special! When it was time for the first look, they went out on a golf cart to look for the perfect spot and WOW did they accomplish just that. What a special moment that we will never forget!! From start to finish they were amazing and knew exactly what they were doing! Everything went so smooth. They even surprised us during the reception with a slide show of photos from the day!!!! Everyone was out on the dance floor crying, it was the most beautiful thing ever.
  
  When I first saw the photos, I started tearing up just thinking back on our day and how we will have these memories forever. So many emotions looking through all of them! And they're SO stunning! I cannot wait for our video to be done in a few months too!
  
  If there's one suggestion I could give you is be sure to read the email that Lauren Ashley Studios sends you about Formal Family photos. I must have missed that one (oops!), so it was a little hectic trying to get my entire extended family together. BUT it wasn't too bad, as Lauren was sure to help get everyone together.
  
  The entire day/night was phenomenal and SO perfect! Most of our guests gave us compliments about Lauren Ashley Studios as well. This team was liked by EVERYBODY! :) If you're having any doubts about hiring them, don't!!! Just do it! You won't regret it, I promise.

  So talented

  Lauren and her team are complete ROCKSTARS! I am still in shock at how stunning our wedding photos turned out. This team is so unbelievably talented and creative, words cannot express how thankful I am for them. Lauren and Mallory are so personable and fun to be around, it felt like I was hanging out with friends. Lauren even helped me bustle my wedding dress, she’s truly a sweetheart!! Lauren is the type of photographer you want with you on your wedding day, she’s the perfect hype woman, and makes you feel so confident and beautiful. They were all so great with kids as well, my nephew who was the ring bearer is typically shy in front of the camera, but Lauren really got him out of his shell, and I appreciate the time she took to make him feel comfortable.
  Believe me, I understand how important it is to hire a wedding photographer you trust, and you know does great work, because this is a day you will remember forever and will want to look back on. With that said, look at her previous work like I did, and you will see going with them will be one of the easiest decisions you will make. Hiring Lauren and her team was hands down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Seeing her photos of me gave me chills and brought me to tears.   Lauren is incredibly talented, a must have for any wedding

  Lauren and her team absolutely made our day complete. It rained all day on our wedding but you never would have known it. She had all of the details covered and used her creative talents to capture each moment with an element of surprise. From reflections off bar tops to veil tosses I cannot tell you how amazed we were with the photos we received!! Thanks Lauren and Team for making our event complete

  Absolute Magic. Book Lauren Ashley Studios RIGHT NOW

  Booking Lauren Ashley Studios for our wedding was the best decision we made about our day - only after saying yes to each other of course :) Seriously, just book them, don't question it. You won't regret it!
  
  Lauren and Sam were beyond easy to work with - it was like hanging out with friends (with really, really nice photography equipment). Lauren was with me in the morning and Sam was with my husband and his groomsman. They both went above and beyond in multiple instances - Lauren brought a fur shawl just in case (it was a winter wedding) and Sam brought hand warmers (so perfect when we were wading around Lincoln Park). We did our first look at our house - which of course they perfectly staged and perfectly captured. After that we drove just north of downtown Chicago to Lincoln Park to get some outdoor photos before the sleet/rain came (something both Lauren and Sam were diligently tracking because they knew how badly we wanted outdoor photos) - at a beautiful location that Lauren scoped out prior. We were so excited to see where they picked at it was gorgeous. Our last stop was Union Station to catch some amazing shots there as well, it was so much more glamorous than I ever imagined we were possible of being. Finally - the main event - we ventured back to our house for our COVID safe, small, indoor ceremony. Lauren and Sam did such a great job capturing all of the special moments despite being cramped on space (can't grow a house no matter how badly you try!). We emphasized our desire for candid photos over staged and HOLY SMOKES did they deliver. Some of my most favorite shots are candid shots from our ceremony. We did catch some formals - definitely have a list ready folks because it goes by in a blur - and got photos during dinner and speeches - but best of all was the end of the night. Our family surprised us with an outdoor fireworks show and wedding send off, and it seemed only natural that we surprise them by moving our first dance outside to the middle of the street, in the middle of the most fluffy, beautiful snow you've ever seen. Lauren and Sam didn't miss a beat - running outside with all their gear and dishcloths to keep their cameras from getting overly wet. In the videos we have of those dances - you can hear both of their reactions to how awesome that experience was - it was like our joy for that day was theirs too.
  
  Planning (and replanning and replanning) a wedding during covid was a struggle to say the least and part of me was worried the day would feel like a bastardized version of what my husband and I wanted - but at the end of the day it was absolutely magical and completely perfect. I can't imagine anyone better suited to capture the emotion and pure joy of that day than Lauren and Sam and the rest of Lauren Ashley Studios.

  We hired Lauren Ashley for our October wedding in 2020. Even in the unpredictability of the year. She worked with us on timelines/payments/details given the unknown. Not only was she very detailed, organized, and straight-forward, she was kind, fun to be around, and really is a bride whisperer. She and her assistant even stuck around briefly after their scheduled time to capture a moment that was running late. In regard to the work....AMAZING!! I continuously get compliments on our photos and am always asked who took our photos so our friends can book her for their event. It was very difficult to find a picture we didn’t like. Thanks again, you’re a pleasure to work with and would hire again in a second! :)

  We first found Lauren Ashley Studios and noticed their creativity right away. Their photos are classic yet different than any other photos we've seen before. We booked them as soon as we could. Through a pandemic, they were so helpful and so accommodating with everything. On the wedding day, we had Lauren, Sam, and Nicole. All of them were absolutely wonderful! Not only were they creative and great at what they do, they quickly felt like friends. This is important since you spend most of the day with them. They worked so hard to get all of the shots that we wanted and those we didn't even know we wanted. They turned out AMAZING. Truly better than we could have imagined. We did not have one photo we didn't like. They also worked really hard to get our photos back to us sooner than expected. Honestly, they are incredible individuals and incredible photographers. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Not only were they incredibly talented, but they were incredibly kind, creative, and I truly believe that there is no one better than them out there.   To start, my fiance’ and I had originally planned to get married in South Haven, MI on the same date. Due to COVID-19, we were forced to cancel that wedding and had to plan our new location wedding in about one month. We decided on a super intimate, 30 person wedding in Michigan City IN. However, we were anxious and nervous about finding vendors so last minute that would fulfill our hopes and dreams for our big day. I read reviews on Lauren Ashley, and gave them a call to see if they were available. The initial phone call that I had with Ryan was such a confidence booster for me. He was informative, kind, gave me direct information about the company, asked questions about what I was hoping my day would look like, gave advice-all before I even booked them. After that first phone call, I knew I had to book them. Immediately after that first phone call, Lauren Ashley called me herself to talk to me and tell me how excited she was about our big day. It was so warming to hear personable vendors that truly cared about your big day. To this day, they are my favorite vendor that I had at my wedding and my day would not have been nearly as successful or perfect without them.
  
  Something you should know about my fiancé and I is that we had never taken professional photos before. We are the epitome of “newbies” in front of the camera and were nervous that we would look awkward in front of the camera. Let me tell you-WE DID NOT. We had SO much fun (even my husband, who HATES taking photos, had a blast taking the photos with Lauren and Ryan). They give INCREDIBLE, explicit direction for each photo, and you will feel comfortable and genuinely have a great time while doing it. The places Laure and Ryan found for us to take photos are breathtaking-I don’t even know where to begin with my favorite photo because there are so many. We took photos on the beach, on the dunes, at a park, in the church, on the side of buildings (literally, we jumped up on the side of a building and the greens and vines around us look like magazine photos) and felt like royalty the entire day while doing it.
  
  I will be using Lauren Ashley Studios for all of my future photography. I do not think any other photography business could measure up. I know that sounds crazy to say, but after you book them you will understand what I am talking about. You need to book them right now-I’m telling you-it will be the BEST DECISION you will make for your wedding.   Captured the moment perfectly

  Lauren and her team (Yuma, Hiue, and Ryan) were amazing!! My husband and I first met Lauren when she was shooting my best friends wedding, My friends pictures turned out amazing and she was able to capture the moment in such an unbelievable way that I was obsessed and she did it in -11 degree weather! When my Husband and I were ready to plan our big day we kept comparing other photographers to Lauren's and we knew we had to book her and her staff! When the day was here she was amazing! She was so prepared and knew where the best lighting would be and she paid attention to the very small details that were important to us as a couple and what this day really meant for us! Her and the team are all so invested in the couple and they get emotional with you! even though they have probably shoot a million weddings they find the tender and special moments in everyone's love story and they take it to heart! My husband loved getting ready with Ryan and Hiue, they made him feel relaxed and that him and his groomsman could act themselves (which made the candid pictures show exactly who they are!) We can not say enough good things about this company and how beautifully they captured our day!   My wife and I worked with Lauren & Chris to cover all photography on our wedding day, and it was great to work with a husband/wife team that clearly know each other’s strengths so well.
  
  Chris normally works as a videographer but started out in photography, and his skills definitely came out in his work as he followed my groomsmen and I during the preparation. As a former model Lauren showed that she certainly knows how to frame a beautiful shot, as she worked with my wife and her bridesmaids throughout the morning.
  
  Both Lauren & Chris have a strong enthusiasm for what they do, and this came out all along the process. Chris was happy to meet in person for the initial consultation, with samples of their work and details of what could be included in the package (including image rights and RAW files). Lauren met with us in person a week before the wedding to go over final details and allow us all to get to know each other a little better before the big day, which certainly helped.
  
  On the day, both Lauren and Chris were at our respective locations in plenty of time to capture preparations, the church service (while keeping a respectful distance, as requested) and finally the various stages of the reception. We had time between the ceremony and the cocktail hour to shoot some photos with our wedding party in Grant Park, and this was again where the couple's enthusiasm really came through.
  
  Despite a fairly laid-back style of communication in the weeks leading up to the event, in the end we feel that people care most about what happens on the day, and what the photographs look like, and on both fronts we were very happy. We were also pleased that the turnaround time for the edit was surprisingly quick (just under 5 weeks in our case, although it may vary with workload).
  
  The resulting pictures are artistically gorgeous, and tell the story of our day wonderfully. We're very happy to recommend Lauren and Chris to anyone looking for high quality photography!
