Laura was an absolute dream to work with and played such a huge role in making our wedding day both incredibly organized and genuinely enjoyable. From our engagement session through the wedding day itself, she truly made our vision come to life. Her planning, guidance, and calm presence allowed us to fully enjoy every moment.
She has an incredible eye for capturing everything - from the smallest, most meaningful details to the biggest, most emotional moments. Looking through our photos feels like reliving the day all over again; the emotion, joy, and love are all there so vividly.
Laura is extremely talented, and we are beyond grateful to have her photos to look back on for the rest of our lives. We couldn’t imagine our day without her and can’t wait to hire her again in the future. -

Laura did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. From the start, she was calm, organized, communicative, and covered all the bases. She listened to all our requests before the big day and remembered them all day of! She knows Johnson's Locust Hall Farm like the back of her hand and had so many ideas for photo locations. We had an unexpected thunderstorm during our wedding day, and she handled it with ease - while capturing the most amazing shots. Turnaround time for the full gallery was faster than anticipated and she even posted a few pictures the night of the wedding! I'm so glad we chose Laura - don't think twice! -

Laura was a phenomenal photographer for our wedding. She was with us the whole day, made us feel incredible comfortable (we're both quite awkward in front of the camera!) and was able to beautifully capture the day and the joy and excitement on that day. My mom still references how efficiently she got through all the family photos. Her professionalism on the day, quick turnaround time, and stunning photos make me confident in saying that I cannot have picked a better photographer for such an important day. -

First impression of Laura during out initial phone call was that she is extremely professional and thorough. Laura is knowledgeable in her art and personable. As the big day got closer, we touched base and I was in between flower options. Laura gave suggestions and also sent inspo photos for me to look at to make my final decision! Laura has great communication. Day of the wedding Laura arrived on time, dressed professional, and got straight to work. I could not have imagined a better photographer for our wedding. Sneak peak pictures were given that night as well which were stunning!!!! I would 10/10 recommend Laura, simply amazing! -

Working with Laura was an absolute dream come true.
I have to admit, everything was pretty chaotic leading up to our wedding day – that is everything aside from Laura. She was a calm force, who took in all of my ideas and needs for our wedding day and worked absolute miracles.
During our check in call before our wedding, Laura walked me through every scenario that could occur during our wedding. She prepared me for what was realistic and made a very detailed schedule showing the timeline we planned together for the big day.
While she did an amazing job keeping to the schedule on the day of, she also took interruptions (like a downpour of rain during when I planning to do a huge family photo) in stride. Laura and her second photographer were incredibly professional. They blended in during our wedding, while capturing each and every moment. Our entire album is FUN and joyful, just as she promised, not over posed, but also a perfect depiction of how our day felt. I cannot recommend Laura enough – and I look forward to working with her again!

Working with Laura was a fantastic experience. Initially, photography was not a top priority for our wedding. However, after meeting with Laura via Zoom, her approachable demeanor and clear understanding of our vision for the wedding day quickly put us at ease.
On the day of the wedding, Laura and Stephanie excelled in making my husband, our bridal party, and myself feel comfortable in front of the camera. We wanted to enjoy our special day with our guests and each other without being frequently pulled away for photos. Thanks to their professionalism and efficiency, we were able to do just that.
Upon receiving our photos, I was so impressed that I immediately ordered an album. Laura captured our day beautifully. I highly recommend Laura Leigh Photography! -

Laura Leigh Photography was such a pleasure to work with! Our wedding was a fall wedding in September 2023. From the beginning stages of wedding planning through the day of our wedding Laura was extremely helpful. You can tell she has such a passion for her work, and it truly shows. She pays so much attention to every little detail. Her experience as a wedding photographer is impeccable. Laura also has a ton of experience with doing weddings at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm. We did first look photos with our two huskies, and she knew how to capture those special pictures with them paying attention to her. Laura saved the day for us when we had to change our ceremony from outdoor to indoors, she knew exactly what to do to capture stunning wedding moments for us. I was pretty bummed out I was losing sunset pictures with rain and clouds. Laura made up for that by creating the most stunning end of evening images in the old barn on Johnson's farm. Throughout my day, Laura would frequently check in with me to make sure she was capturing every moment we wanted. Laura is also so kind and down to earth. Our images our just stunning and we couldn't be any happier with them. We will definitely be using Laura in the future for other events. -

First off Laura is incredible!! From the beginning she was organized and responded quickly! When it came to the wedding day Laura was amazing. We had terrible wind and my shoes fell off 100 times, she didn’t even flinch we just adjusted and kept going. Laura got us our amazing pictures back way faster than we’d ever imagined with sneak peaks the night of the wedding! Laura and our second photographer Abbey took amazing pictures! They were everywhere at once and captured every moment of the day! There are pictures I didn’t even know they were around taking and that’s some of my favorites! You are the best! Thank you so much for everything!!!! -

I have no idea where to start because I have so many wonderful things to say about Laura! First off, she is very easy to work with and very organized, which helped relieve a ton of stress while planning our wedding! She helped me and my husband create a detailed wedding day timeline, and the survey she sent us 2 months out from the wedding really helped us stay organized and think about a lot of small details we would have otherwise overlooked. On the day of the wedding, Laura went above and beyond for us! We ended up being a good 20 minutes behind schedule because our limo bus driver was late to pick me and my bridesmaids up to take us to the ceremony. It was a stressful situation, but Laura stayed cool and calm throughout the whole thing, and was able to take all our formal family photos after the ceremony very efficiently. Because of her quick work, we were able to gain back the time we lost and take all of our desired photos before the sun went down! Laura is also very quick with editing and getting your photos out to you; we received 10 sneak peek photos at 9AM the morning after our wedding, and our entire photo gallery was sent to us in 2.5 weeks! Our photos are SO beautiful, we received them yesterday and I can't stop looking at them! I'd recommend Laura to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She is the best of the best. Where do I even begin?! Laura exceeded our expectations and then some!! She captured every little detail efficiently and had such a calming energy that made me feel at ease and I knew I was in such good hands!! I highly recommend Laura for your wedding photographer. She did an awesome job for my sister’s wedding a few years ago, and now again for mine! She is truly a pleasure to work with. Laura is patient, sweet, creative, responsive, thorough, and genuine. She listens and follows through with any specific requests you have. All you have to do is smile and leave the rest up to her! Directing 17+ people isn’t easy, especially if the partying has already begun, but she succeeded and made transitions between shots seem effortless. Also, her turnaround time was unexpectedly fast, I assumed getting my pictures would take months. Thank you, Laura, for the beautiful pictures you shot!

Laura did our engagement photos and then our wedding. Our pictures are BEAUTIFUL! Laura is super easy to work with, and everyone has commented on how much they love the photos. On the day of the wedding, I didn't even notice her taking pictures-- which we liked. I didn't want someone in my face all the time, and she was the exact opposite. She captured so many great moments that I didn't even know about. Highly recommend!!!! -

She got great candid shots throughout the day, as well as amazing details and posed pictures. My husband and I are both super awkward in front of cameras, but Laura made everything effortless. Her direction was exactly what we needed and the end result is incredible. We were also really surprised with the amazing variety of shots she got as we didn't even notice her moving around! We couldn't have asked for anyone better to have captured our day. -

Christine Sent on 11/05/2017We had Laura do both our engagement photos and wedding photos and couldn't be happier with how they came out. For our engagement shoot, we got to practice working with her and she even let us go a little over an hour to do some extra "fun" poses. We got the photos in a week and had so many to choose from for our wedding website.
The day of our wedding, she arrived on time to our hotel room for bridesmaid photos. Laura worked well with our videographer, who brought 2 assistants. I was worried about there being too many people and everyone getting in the way, but they were pretty good at planning things so that our videographer didn't show up in the background of all the photos. We were able to go through bridal party photos fairly quickly while staying in the shade the whole time (it was a very hot Fall day). I was a bit concerned about the lighting because the sun was very bright that day, especially outside of the backup ceremony location - a covered patio which was completely shaded. However the photos came out great and Laura was able to make the ceremony photos look soft and kind of ethereal/dreamy in style - it's hard to tell that it was full shade on the patio. My favorite photos from the day are the ones we did at sunset - those were really beautiful! There are some great dancing shots too, our bridal party loved those.
We received the wedding photos a month later and got a custom USB in the mail. It came in a nice keepsake box and was nicely packaged. Overall, we definitely recommend Laura Leigh Photo to anyone who needs a wedding photographer! -

So not only is she talented but her packages are definitely budget friendly, especially for New Jersey. She’s professional and knows what she’s doing. We had our pictures from our engagement session really quick, like within 2 weeks, I think. And the sneak peek from the engagement session and wedding were up on her blog within a couple of days. We don’t have our album yet, obviously (we just got married on 7/9/11) but I expect it to be awesome! She doesn’t know it yet but I expect Laura to photograph every major event in my family from this point forward. -

Laura is very receptive to your wants and needs. I wanted a more ‘moody’ style and she accommodated us even though that is not her normal style of photography. I also wanted more retouching and she also accommodated. That was nice because some photographers will not accommodate you because they have a specific style they don’t want to stray from. Laura is also very in the background during the wedding which is nice in one sense because she is never in the way or distracting! There were pictures I was surprised she got because I had no idea she was there! She takes a bunch of pictures in a short period of time. We didn’t do a first look so we had very limited time to take couple shots, but Laura got so many! In total we had 865! Also, we were specific about the types of shots we wanted and she was always checking her sheet to make sure she was taking the ones we wanted. She even had some pictures printed out that I had sent her from Pinterest. Lastly, I will say that she is a great value! We had 9 hours of coverage and an engagement session for under $3k! This is VERY hard to come by nowadays!
CONS
I will preface this with the fact that I’m pretty picky in general about photos and somewhat traditional. If you like staged photos where everyone’s bouquet is at the same height and everyone is looking at the camera, Laura may not be the photographer for you. I loved the majority of our photos and I understand that it is hard to direct a large group of people; however, we have some photos where people are not paying attention and one person has their bouquet down and the other has it in the air. It would have been nice for Laura to direct the girls to place their bouquets down in front so everyone looked the same. Again, this may not be something that bothers you; however, to me it is annoying when everyone looks good expect for one or two people in a photo. Overall, like I mentioned, I thin -
