A lovely person and a talented photographer
We immediately clicked with Laura since we are avid animal lovers. My husband is an amateur photographer and really liked the type of pictures she took. She captures the moment....the emotion.....the joy....our pictures are lovely. The difficult thing is choosing which are our favorites. We highly recommend Laura. Jeannine & John -

Laura checked off all the boxes - the brightest spot to our COVID wedding
My husband and I got engaged in March 2019, and one of the first things I did was start my search for the perfect wedding photographer. My husband and I work as professional videographers. Properly exposed images with an emphasis on showcasing candid, intimate moments was a top of mind. Far too often have I seen brides share photos of their wedding that feature trendy filters and presets as the final edits. We knew we wanted a timeless look to our images.
In comes Laura! I stumbled upon one of her styled photoshoots in my online search and immediately dug deep into her website. I loved how each and every wedding in her gallery showed the true, natural colors of the setting. Every couple was beautifully captured in their own way. No two weddings looked the same, and most importantly, Laura shared examples of the candid pictures she captured at wedding receptions. With all the dark lighting and fast dancing, those can be the hardest ones to capture! I was also impressed with the amount of diversity Laura featured in her wedding albums. As an interracial couple, knowing a photographer could accurately capture our different skin tones in the same image was crucial to our final pick. Laura checked off all the boxes. We scheduled a phone call with her and booked her immediately after.
We were originally set to have our large wedding celebration on September 26, 2020. COVID–19 came in and ruined that plan. The summer was a nightmare of back-and-forth with all of our wedding vendors, but not Laura. She was one fo the first to reach out to simply check-in on our emotional status, and she was there for every single phone call after. Laura became much more than a wedding photographer for us. She transitioned (with ease) into the rock that kept our engagement joy afloat! We ended up throwing a minimony (just our parents in attendance) on our original wedding date, and we pushed the big celebration out a year. We booked Laura for both occasions! And we are so, so happy we did. No one outside of our parents were able to witness us get legally married, but we have an album full of breathtaking photos that outline the entire day - even into the evening in the dimly lit backyard of our parent's home when Laura recommended we share a first dance so she can capture it for us.
Please, book Laura Horner for your wedding. She's worth every single penny and will become a wonderful friend in the process. -

Laura is the best!!!
We were so lucky to find Laura early last year for our October 2020 wedding. Throughout the entire process of planning, she helped us every step of the way and with rescheduling services when our wedding day was postponed to February 2021. When we did our engagement photos in late 2020, it was such a wonderful experience being in front of Laura's camera. She was so excited to be there and give us direction, we knew her vision would yield the best photos and they turned out amazing!!!!
Fast forward to our wedding a few months later, Laura captured absolutely every detail that we discussed and was important to us, and helped keep things running smoothly the entire day. We had a very windy wedding day and had to improvise on group/wedding party photo location at the venue due to that. She had a plan b and plan c lined up for us and helped calm my bride nerves also! The guests absolutely loved her and she genuinely is the kindest person with such a great energy about her. Being a photographer for a wedding especially, there is so much pressure in that because it is a huge day, but Laura puts her heart into her work and it is so clear she loves what she does!
Our best decision was hiring her and putting her in charge of capturing our memories. We have such beautiful images to look back on now and I can't express enough how much it means to us. We hit the jackpot with her and cannot wait to have her capture all our future sessions!!!!! -

Couldn't be happier!
Laura was an awesome photographer! She made the process really easy, listened to all our wishes and contributed some really fun photo ideas. She was super flexible with scheduling and did a brilliant job and was so patient and nice throughout the entire day. She captured so much more than we could have thought possible from both our engagement and wedding photos! We absolutely love the gallery she created with all the photos...it's extremely easy to browse, share and download. We would not hesitate to work with her again for any photography needs! -

Amazing!!!!!
I love Laura and she is the sweetest person ever. She made me feel so comfortable during the shoot. I didn’t feel awkward at all. She also did such a great job taking pictures of my dog and would even make funny noises so my dog would look at her for the photo. I am so thankful she did my senior graduation photos. They came out so perfect and I am happy to have shared such a special moment with her. I would recommend her to everyone ever. She’s the best. -

Absolutely AMAZING!
Working with Laura was one of the best experiences we had planning our whole wedding. From the initial phone call, to engagement photos then finally the big day, Laura was amazing. She worked with us to figure out important shots we wanted to capture, a timeline and helpful tips and tricks for the big day! Every single picture turned out simply stunning. I can’t wait to continue to work with Laura for future life events to come!! -

Laura is fantastic!
With so many photographers in the industry, it was hard to know where to start. When we came across Laura's site though, it felt different. The images were beautiful and candid and the smiles and laughter that she can capture was exactly what we wanted. Not only is Laura a great photographer, but she is also a great friend! She reached out several times over the course of our engagement with ideas, encouragement, and positivity through the chaos of COVID. Our engagement shoot was so much fun with her and helped us feel comfortable and on the wedding day she made sure we got all of the shots we wanted.
I honestly can't say enough about Laura, other than she was one of our favorite vendors to work with during our wedding process and we are so happy with the pictures that we have thanks to her! -

My best friend when COVID cancelled everything!
Laura is more than a photographer - she is the sweetest and most accommodating friend you could ever meet. We decided to have Laura do our engagement pictures, and from the first time we met, it was like meeting a long lost friend. She made me feel so comfortable and I despise having my picture taken. When the pictures came back, my mind was blown. She knows how to make it work, even if you don't know how!
My wedding was supposed to happen in May 2020 and the venue had to cancel due to COVID-19. I was in panic mode and trying to decide if we should go ahead and have a small ceremony or wait to have the big wedding we originally planned. In the end, we decided to "elope" and have a small ceremony. Laura was there for me EVERY step of the way. We had several brain storming sessions, she was able to accommodate the new date we set, and the pictures are phenomenal. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Laura. Every part of the wedding I had been planning for almost a year was cancelled at the last minute, but she was my constant. And I am so glad I will have these pictures of what turned out to be the best day of my life. -

Laura did our engagement and wedding photos. Amazing work and wonderful price. She is also very kind and helped us feel comfortable in front of a camera, which usually we aren’t!! Would hire again when we eventually have kids too 🥰 -

Besides getting to marry my amazing husband, Laura was the next best thing about my wedding! We love her photography style where the pictures look natural. When we were shopping for wedding photographers, we seemed to find many who seemed to overly edit the pictures where the colors looked “fake.” Laura arrived early to our wedding at the Red Agave Resort in Sedona, which gave me the chance to show her a few of the must have photos that she was perfectly captured. Laura is full of energy and she was biggest help, for example, when the groom forgot his suit, she made sure to send one of the bride’s friends to go break the news to the bride before the first look so the outfit change wouldn’t be a surprise! Laura really went above and beyond to get the exact pictures that we wanted and even helped coordinate pictures/ timing with our DJ the day of the wedding which was one of my biggest worries. She is really easy to get along with and was a life saver when family/ friends wanted different photos than the bride and groom. She is able to politely make sure the bride and groom get the photos they want, along with pleasing the guests with her great personality. You will love having your photos taken by Laura on your wedding day. Our friends and family are still talking about how our wedding photos look like they are out of a wedding magazine. -

Perfect! Laura did an amazing job at capturing our engagement, wedding, and every life event since! We love her for all of our photography needs.
Laura has done a phenomenal job at capturing my families most significant moments. From my engagement to my wedding, the birth of my daughter and numerous birthday/family photos, they have all been perfect! Best wedding photographer
Laura is the BEST! She’s creative, she’s fun and she’s willing to go the extra mile to make your day so special. Even if that means jumping in an airplane! (Literally ✈️) Her work is just beautiful and super professional. Some days y’all think you also hired a wedding planner too! I really don’t have to talk about her photos because her work speaks for itself 📸
To give you a honest story, my parents weren’t able to make it to my wedding. It was a hard day and everything changed without them! She understood and was right there for me. I didn’t thank her enough but she found a way to still make my day special. I promise you won’t regret having her as your photographer. ❤️📸 -

Laura was truly such a delight to work with from the first call to receiving our wedding gallery. She is professional, talented, and such a lovely person. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable during our Engagement shoot and during the Wedding day. She and captured our day in the most beautiful way and the photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. Picking a photographer to document your day can be stressful, but let me say, if you hire Laura it will be one of the best decisions you make in your wedding planning process. -

I cannot rave enough about how much my husband & I truly LOVED having Laura as our photographer! We hired her right after getting engaged for engagement photos and we loved her fun and easy-going personality. She makes taking photos so easy and is really good at directing couples on how to pose and takes the most beautiful candid photos.
We chose to hire Laura because the photos she takes really capture natural beauty and look so timeless that way.
My husband and I had to postpone our wedding due to covid and she was so understanding and made it incredibly easy to book a new date with her. We even re-took engagement photos and loved them even more the second time around.
Laura is so organized and pays attention to every detail. At times she felt like my wedding planner too!! Laura created a seamless timeline for our wedding day and made it so enjoyable to take photos and enjoy the day. She essentially helped plan every minute of the wedding and I truly believe she was a HUGE part in making our wedding day absolutely perfect!
Everything about working with Laura was easy and enjoyable. She responds to emails and texts so quickly, she's flexible and kind, she was very involved in the wedding planning process, her website is incredibly easy to use, and above all...her photos are STUNNING. I will be going to Laura for Christmas photos, baby announcements, family photos, and everything in between in the future! -

Best Photographer!
Selecting vendors for your wedding is beyond hard. There are plenty of photographers to pick from but I knew from our first conversation Laura was the best! Laura has a way of getting to know you and understanding what you need as a bride. She is very knowledgeable, professional and I promise will become your friend. Which is very important, pick a photographer you want to spend 8+ hours with! At one point, my husband asked if we will still be friends after the wedding :)
Prior to the wedding, Laura created our timeline and gave many tips and ideas to make our day seamless and special. She truly made a big impact in how great our wedding day went!
On our wedding day Laura kept everything moving and captured all of the moments along the way. Outside of how amazing she is as a person, her pictures are just as amazing. She has a way of capturing the moment how I remembered it in my mind. Her photos are timeless and beautiful.
I highly recommend hiring Laura as your wedding photographer!!! -

Laura was my absolute favorite thing at my wedding (well, except my husband of course)! She was the only vendor of mine who took the time to personally reach out to me when I had to reschedule due to COVID in 2020. She maintained open lines of communication and is really such a gem. My husband and I are pretty low-key people who are prone to feeling awkward, so we weren't sure how we'd feel posing for engagement and wedding photos. Laura, however, really felt like a friend from the beginning! We felt comfortable with her the whole time. On top of all that, our photos came out phenomenally--natural, colorful, and timeless. Hire Laura, I promise it'll be the best decision you make! -

Hire her! Laura is the best!
Words can not express how absolutely amazing Laura is. I'm so grateful to have found her in my search for a photographer! Throughout the entire process she's been so communicative and has offered support in any way she possibly could. She did an amazing job making us comfortable during our photos, and even on our wedding day, I was sad when she had to leave at the end of the night because of how much we loved her company! Her eye for a beautiful shot is unmatched and her light and airy editing style is so romantic and dreamy. My husband and I will be using her for any of our photo needs going forward, and highly recommend you do the same!! :) -
