I hired Laura for my September 2024 wedding after she arrived back in the Virginia/DC area. She was very professional, organized and kind throughout the entire wedding planning experience. I wanted more of a timeless, natural/very soft glam look and she delivered! I felt beautiful and confident on my big day and I would definitely recommend her! -

If you're lost on who you should hire to do your hair and makeup, don't look any further because Laura is your girl. She did my hair and makeup, my mom's hair and makeup and some of my bridesmaids' hair. We all loved our results!
We had our wedding in March in Virginia (which she was an angel for willing to fly out to!) so the weather was not on our side that day (cold and windy). Laura was able to be there to make sure my hair looked as best as it could on a very windy day. Both my hair and makeup looked amazing and stayed all day, up until the last song of the night! I was really sad to wipe off the make up at the end of the day because I loved it so much.
Laura is very professional and really takes into consideration what you want and what she thinks will look best for you. I'm not very knowledgable about makeup so I didn't really know what kind of look I wanted, but Laura knew what would suit best for my features and skin tone while also still looking good for pictures.
I loved having Laura as one of my vendors and would 10/10 recommend!!! -

Laura is an absolute rockstar. She is so incredibly talented and did my makeup for my engagement photos and my wedding photos. I felt AMAZING. During my trial, she somehow perfected the balance of natural and glam, and I’ve never felt as pretty as I did on my wedding day. She also did makeup for my 10 bridesmaids and 2 moms, and they all looked absolutely stunning.
I cannot say enough good things about Laura. She is super responsive and so amazing to work with. Such a sweet and genuine person! -

I chose Laura for my makeup on my wedding day as she does a lot work that looks like you but better. I don't wear a lot of makeup most days and really wanted to look and feel like myself on the day. All of my bridesmaids and mothers of bride/groom looked so natural and amazing - she asked what each of my girls had envisioned for their makeup and I loved that. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with Laura. I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day. If you have the opportunity to work with Laura, say YES! She is the sweetest person and I am so honored to have worked with her! -

Book Laura for your wedding or special event!!!
I used Laura for my engagement photos and wedding. She did my hair for both and my bridesmaids make up for my wedding. She did an absolutely incredible job and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for hair or make up services for a special event. She was so easy to talk to, knowledgeable of what I could do with my hair, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was happy.
When you're sitting there on your wedding day you want to be surrounded by people that are going to lift your spirits, make you feel like your best self and be easy to talk with across yourself, your family and friends. Laura and her team were that and more. My wedding day would not have been such a success without her. Thank you Laura!! I am so appreciative of all you did for me and my wedding! -

I wish I could look like that every day!
Working with Laura and her assistants was an amazing experience. Laura was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process of figuring out hair and makeup for myself, all of my bridesmaids, a best woman, and both moms. While we were a large group, we were ready with time to spare and looked amazing. I knew I wanted to work with Laura ever since she did my makeup as a bridesmaid for a friend’s wedding, and I stand by that decision. She is incredibly talented and did amazing work bringing out our natural beauty. -

Perfect hair & makeup, hire her!!
We postponed our original out-of-state wedding in October 2020 and decided to have a small one in VA, which led me to having to book hair & makeup for myself late. Luckily Laura was available and the booking process was super smooth. And she did my hair and makeup perfectly for the wedding! She was SO nice and a super calm presence to have. I loved chatting with her, she's just the sweetest and really made my morning peaceful for what is a very jittery time. My hair and makeup held up even overnight (when I forgot to take it off lol). I highly recommend booking her, and now wish I could have her do my hair and makeup for my rescheduled wedding!! -

Stunning Makeup Artist
Laura was recommended by my wedding day hairstylist and I loved the way she made me look flawless but also maintained a natural look while highlighting my eyes and other features as requested. She was sweet and professional, helped me learn more about wedding day makeup at our trial (I typically do not wear much makeup), and made me feel like a complete showstopper on the wedding day. She goes above and beyond, and even took into account my allergies when selecting makeup. She was patient, kind, listened to my preferences, and I would recommend her to anyone needing a makeup artist. She also did the makeup for my mom, maid of honor and a bridesmaid and they all felt incredibly special and absolutely loved the way their makeup looked. Communication with Laura was also very easy, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend! -

I cannot recommend Laura highly enough! She is SO knowledgeable and talented. She took her time during my trial to make sure I was happy with my look. On my wedding day I felt beautiful! The makeup looked good in person and photographed beautifully! My mom and bridesmaids loved their makeup as well! -

Laura was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! I told Laura going in that I wanted to look like a more dressed-up version of my natural self. I'm not about adding so much makeup that I no longer look like me. Laura did an AMAZING job and my bridesmaids and I got so many compliments throughout the day! She did such a great job that one of my bridesmaids said she was looking at booking her for her own wedding day too. :) I couldn't be happier with Laura! I highly recommend! -

Laura is not only incredibly talented, but so kind, caring and very professional! I hired Laura to do my wedding makeup and I am so glad I did! From my first inquiry through the day of the wedding, she made the process fun, exciting and stress-free. On a day-to-day basis I do not wear much makeup and was unsure what I really wanted my wedding day makeup to look like. Laura was able to take a couple pictures I liked and create my dream wedding day look! Having a trial before the wedding was so helpful and also took away all my worries away when it came to makeup on my wedding day. Laura not only created the perfect look for me, she also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and mothers! Everyone still talks about how much they loved their makeup today! On my wedding day, Laura was so calming and kind while she was putting my makeup on with her small talk - I appreciated it so much - and my makeup turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Laura is the best and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a makeup artist! -

Laura was so great to work with for my wedding! The makeup trial was a great opportunity to get to know her, and for her to get to know me, my makeup preferences, and how I wanted to look on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she was ready to do makeup for me and three others and did a truly beautiful job. The makeup lasted the whole day and evening and looked stunning in photographs. Her little touchup kit that she leaves behind was barely needed. I highly recommend Laura! -
Lauren Sent on 08/02/2018Where to begin... Laura is AMAZING! She did my makeup, as well as 8 other girls in my bridal party and everyone looked flawless!! I had her do my trial and she kept notes regarding what she used on my skin. I am not much of a makeup person, and told her I wanted something natural that showed my freckles, and she nailed it. The day of the wedding (it was in the summer), I was much tanner than at the trial, but she easily adjusted what she had to do. I have never felt or looked so beautiful in my life!
The day of the wedding, she was all set up ready to go by the time the bridal party arrived. She brought a second makeup artist (Emily) who was also great! Laura was calm, cool and collected the whole time. My mom (who doesnt wear makeup ever) was so happy with everything! The makeup barely felt like it was there- no caking, no heavy feel, my skin didn't breakout after I took off the makeup. It was amazing! You can't go wrong with Laura!! -

Victoria Sent on 11/14/2017I fell in love with Laura's make up through Instagram searching and she is worth every penny! I brought a couple inspiration pics to the trial run where we were able to nail down what I wanted as I didn't know at the start. She mixed her own lipstick colors so that we could get exactly what I wanted. Come day of the wedding, she was able to give each bridesmaid their desired look and everyone was obsessed with our make up, everyone looked so good. What I liked the most was her lash application, I didn't really notice they were there the entire time and I have had problems in the past with fake lashes. In addition, they were really fun to get ready with. Our make up lasted all evening, even through the hot weather. I would definitely recommend her to a friend, she did an incredible job!

This is my second time having Laura do my makeup. The first time was in 2016 for my own wedding and the second was for my brother's wedding in late February. Laura consistently does an excellent job highlighting your best features and will make you look even more beautiful while still looking like yourself.
She made me feel the most beautiful on my wedding day in 2016 and even though there are things I would change about my wedding, I wouldn't trade Laura for anything. A week ago Laura did bridal makeup for my now sister, and I can't even count the number of compliments and people reaching out to me saying how beautiful she was.
