We had Latin Raices catering company for our baby shower and I honestly couldn’t be happier. They were super responsive from the beginning, and Chef Ruby was amazing. She really worked with us to stay within our budget, which meant a lot.
At the tasting, the small plates were so good, and they were just as delicious the day of the shower. Everyone was complimenting the food! It was such a special touch to the day and took a big weight off our shoulders knowing the food was taken care of.

Made such an impact at my wedding!
I absolutely loved working with Ruby! We hired Latin Raices for our wedding in June. From the initial conversation we had, I noticed she was very laidback and receptive to what our goals were as far as a menu. She was able to create a custom menu which actually turned out better than our original idea and helped blend both our Peruvian and Puerto Rican roots. We had Pollo a La Brasa style chicken, Papa a la Huancaina, Pernil with a Guava based BBQ sauce, Lomo Saltado, Elote, Maduros, and Arroz Mampoestao. The cocktail hour included fruit skewers with a special sauce, Alcapurria, and Puerto Rican style Papa Rellena. The food was amazing during the tasting, and it was the same during the wedding as well, so no surprises. Everyone loved the food, there was basically none left at the end of the night.
All the servers and wait staff were so nice and looked very clean and put together.
Like I said, I loved working with Ruby, and we got along so well. She definitely has a talent for cooking, and I would recommend her for anyone's events.

Without a doubt, the best catering company in Orlando! Where do I even begin? From the very first day, Chef Ruby has been amazing. She took the time to go through the menu with me and offered so many options. She was incredibly patient, answering all my countless questions. When we did the tasting, we were blown away by the food—delicious doesn’t even do it justice! She was super accommodating with the menu; I chose an appetizer-style menu instead of dinner, and she gave me great feedback. On the day of the event, her staff was beyond professional—they absolutely nailed it. Everyone is still raving about the food, the variety, and how amazing it all tasted. Excellence all around, and I highly recommend them!

My Abuela APPROVED of all the food at our wedding...that's all I gotta say lol In all honesty I was very nervous at the beginning of deciding which catering service to use because I knew I wanted to pay an homage to my culture, but we all know that there are very few places that can make you feel like you are truly eating some home-cooked food and Latin Raices is absolutely one of them! Ruby is literally the sweetest and has had an insurmountable amount of patience with us as this was a whole new world for us. Ruby answered all our questions no matter how small they wereb and was super responsive. She never made us feel like we were being ignored. Ruby is literally the sweetest human being! You can tell that Latin Raices cooks with so much heart and passion because it is literally delicious and it truly does taste like a home-cooked meal. Latin Raices provided an excellent service from day one. Tasting was so good and we had no doubt since that day that you guys were going to provide an exceptional service and you did. Everything from the ordevours, dinner, buffet set up and decorations, service, packing of leftovers, and cleaning was excellent! You guys helping me figure out the lighting issue at the venue when the venue manager was MIA 🤦🏻♀️ was greatly appreciated!! Our wedding was Puerto Rico themed and probably the best vendor to our wedding was Ruby / Latin Raices. Her communication was excellent from start to finish. The day of tasting was fun and another great experienced as she created more of an intimate fun ambiance. The day of her and her team did an amazing Job & we had left overs! My husband, daughter and I were able to do a tasting this past week with Ruby. We all thought the food was delicious! We have a lot of mixture in our family with Cuban, Colombian, Italian and American so we want to have food that everyone will enjoy for our daughter’s Quince. Ruby was very kind and professional throughout the process. My daughter is very picky and asked for more salsa for the ropa vieja to make it more like her abuela’s. Incredible Staff!
Oh the baked ziti. And apparently the meatballs. These were just 2 of the major talking points from our wedding. We couldn't imagine having a vendor that was more accomodating, flexible, and who really delivered the goods (and the goodies) than Chef Ruby. She was lovely to work with each time we had a meeting with her or spoke to her on the phone. With all the craziness that comes with having a wedding in 2020 it would be easy for a vendor to be rigid and make the best decision for their business and not for their clients. Thank goodness Ruby is the furthest from this type of business owner. She constantly worked with us through the process and was an excellent communicator. Her staff was also very pleasant and were very friendly for our wedding. Then the icing on the cake to the great communication and wonderful customer service was that the food was so dang good. Us and our guests loved everything she brought out. Could not recommend Chef Ruby anymore for your wedding or special event.

Finger licking good Puerto Rican cuisine

The empanadas sealed the deal
I cannot say enough compliments of our experience. I liked Ruby the moment I met her at our tasting. She listened to our requests and helped to create a menu which would be tasty and appealing for all our guests.
Due to the pandemic, several changes had to be made - changes in venues, reception times, guest count etc. Ruby was extremely responsive every time we reached out to her.
Our guests could not get you enough for the wonderful food that was served at the wedding. People were raving about it! Several families stated that it was the best food they've had at a wedding in ages. The empanadas were AMAZING! If ever I should have need another event catered or have a friend need an event catered, I will use this company again!

Ruby and her team are the most professional & helpful catering service ever! We stumbled upon their website on Wedding Wire and knew right away we needed to contact her and we were lucky enough that she had our wedding date available. She took the time to give us a tasting, and gave us so many tips, advices and ideas. We are very grateful for your work on a day that was so significant and so special to us. Flavorful Catering , wonderful price
Ruby did a wonderful job helping us come up with a menu that showcased both our Mexican and Puerto Rican backgrounds. So many guests gave compliments on the empanadas! She also made sure that the groom and I got our plate before our guests and that we got to try a little of everything that was on the menu. The food was just as I wanted, flavorful and not the typical bland wedding food that I normally see at weddings. I truly enjoyed the arroz con gandules and prok. I also heard from guests that they went up for seconds because they liked the food. She also made sure the leftovers were packed and ready to go at the end of the wedding for us! I defnitely recommend if you want out of the box wedding food and appetizers, one of my biggest goals for my wedding was making sure the menu was not stereotype wedding food and she made sure to make this happen!

The food was amazing. I totally recommend this catering for any type of event. My favorite food was during the cocktail hour we had some beef empanadillas. The price was affordable, they were very organized, they got everything prepared on time before the wedding started. Ruby was amazing in serving us food and always asking us if we need anything else.

We were so lucky to find Ruby and her excellent catering services! We were looking for a caterer who specialized in Latin and Italian food for our daughter’s wedding. I was surprised to find Orlando, lacking in quality Latin Catering until I had the pleasure of attending a tasting with Latin Raíces. The food was delicious, full of so much flavor, I jokingly asked her if she had a grandmother cooking in her kitchen! The Italian food was just as good. We chose a spinach baked ziti with roasted Italian vegetables as a side. It was divine!! We chose two Latin dishes, including a roasted pork with rice and pigeon peas that was truly authentic, served in an elegant setting. Ruby and her crew were true professionals!!

Wedding Reception
We were looking for an affordable catering that would provide food for both the Latin and Anglo palates. We searched several places until we found Latin Raices, They were excellent in their service and very affordable. They gave us the opportunity to taste the food beforehand and make recommendations. It was a great experience dealing with Latin Raices. The contract included an excellent bartender. Latin Raices kept us informed about all the details of the catering. Their set up and service at the reception was exceptional. Everyone at the party raved about the quantity, quality and great taste of the food. Working with Ruby was a delightful experience. Amazing catering and very professional
Amazing wedding December at the Heaven Event Venue, Ruby was able to accommodate all of our needs. Everyone loved the happy hour where she served amazing appetizers. I never have the time to leave reviews but this was definitely worth sharing.. Highly recommend.

Where do I begin with this catering company? Ruby was AMAZING & her food was definitely made with love. I had someone tell me that it was “the best wedding food” they’ve ever eaten, & I had people go back for seconds, we opted for buffet style. Ruby and her team were fantastic! We couldn’t have had a better caterer for our wedding! The food was delicious, and she went above and beyond to help us, even with our event being the day before Christmas Eve, she had the greatest attitude and helped make this moment even more special!!

We did the corporate award night and one of the best things of the night was Latin Raices. The food is delicious, the crew is very professional and Ruby is awesome!!! Thank you for making our Award Night a success. We ended with an amazing "asopao". We have a date for next year's party. Thank U!

Rubie was so nice and accommodating! I kept either changing my mind or adding and changing things and the entire time she was just happy to help and finding ways to make everything work! Of course, the food was delicious!!!

Ruby was amazing to work with! Everyone at my wedding loved the food and couldn't stop talking about it. If I had to do it all again, I would pick Ruby and her team in a heart beat. My husband and I are so glad we found her!

I called so many places and Ruby got back to me immediately. Menu packages and pricing were perfect! Once I met her for the tasting I knew this was the caterer for my event! Delicious food!
