  Stress-free and Amazing

  Hiring Keri as my wedding planner was a dream come true. She made sure all my needs were met, all my questions were answered, and must importantly, my wedding day was everything we dreamt of. I always get asked how stressful was it to plan a destination wedding, and I reply back, "my wedding planner basically did everything, so it was super easy."
  My husband and I flew out to Costa Rica a few months before our wedding and Keri made sure everything was lined up for us to sample food, see our decor and rental options, see the venue, villas, etc. She even went above and beyond to help find us another airbnb villa when one that we had booked for our wedding party was unexpectedly canceled.
  She is simply amazing at what she does!
  10/10 would definitely recommend!!!!

  Best Wedding Planner Ever

  If I could give Keri 10 stars, I would. She is absolutely amazing. I shared some Instagram and Pinterest pictures, and she brought our dream wedding to life. On top of being an amazing planner, she is also incredibly sweet and down to earth. You will just love her! She will make your wedding day the best day ever, so hire her!

  Maruja is amazing!

  Fortunately, we were referred to Maruja by another wedding planner. Maruja was attentive, flexible, and had amazing recommendations and ideas. She helped perfect our vision. We truly had a perfect day and couldn’t have done it without her! By the end of it, she didn’t just feel like our wedding planner, but more like a lifelong friend. We can’t recommend her enough!

  Fortunately, we were referred to Maruja by another wedding planner. Maruja was attentive, flexible, and had amazing recommendations and ideas. She helped perfect our vision.   Pura Vida Wedding

  We were put in touch with Maria of Lat10 weddings by our venue, Sugar Beach Hotel.
  
  From the beginning, Maria was incredibly communicative, willing to hop on a call anytime and very responsive to emails. This was comforting as we had not visited the venue and although very excited, still a bit nervous.
  
  She really shined on the day of the wedding. All of our little touches we wanted went off without a hitch, and on a few occasions she read our minds and was quick to take action moving the evening's schedule around so we could maximize time on the dance floor.
  
  She truly bought into our day and clearly communicated the whole way through.

  Couldn't have done it without her!

  I was very on the fence at first about hiring a wedding planner, but am very glad that we did! Maruja was invaluable to us, leading up to the wedding and especially on the wedding day. It truly was a stress free experience and she took care of everything, even little things that I didn't even know about until afterwards. Her experience and knowledge of the area and local vendors helped us out a lot when planning. She helped give me confidence in our decisions and I am very happy we chose her to help us on our big day!

  From the initial phone consultation to execution at my wedding, I couldn't be more pleased with Keri. Planning a destination wedding is no easy feat, yet meeting and working with Keri, she really made me feel so at ease recommending local vendors to work with even helping us find our dream venue. She is so responsive and will do anything in her power to help make your day everything you could dream of and more. Not only was she resourceful but she is so sweet as well! ;)

  We knew Keri and lat10 weddings was a good fit for us, right from the get go. While we sourced a few different wedding planning providers, we instantly clicked with Keri. From our first chat, she was an attentive listener and immediately understood our vision. She also asked great questions without us feeling overwhelmed. We felt that we could trust her and she delivered!
  
  Leading up to our day, her proactiveness, sound referrals and organizational skills, provided a stress free wedding planning experience from Canada. If we had questions or ideas we wanted to run by her, Keri always responded promptly and with consideration and always encouraged us to keep in touch. Her creativity, local insights and eye for detail provided a bespoke wedding experience for our close family and friends.
  
  The entire process was truly enjoyable because we were in Keri’s good hands- I can’t say enough good things about the services provided by Keri and lat10 weddings.

  Maruja is a wonderful wedding planner! She has so much experience and is very helpful. The day of the wedding she makes you feel very comfortable and ensures everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend working with her!

  Stay away from her

  Do yourself a favor and stay away from Maruja Roldan. She stole our money, and set us up in contracts with the most expensive vendors in Guanacaste. When we asked for alternatives, she wouldn’t suggest any because she only works with expensive vendors that pay her commission, all on top of the expensive fee she charges. She is also extremely unresponsive and rude. She also broke her contract with us and proceeded to not give back the retainer we gave her. DO NOT USE HER. She will scam you out of your money.

  Regarding the money issue, is very important to highlight that She is the one that has withheld money from me. In fact, this person has come to the first meeting with much less cash than what the 50% contract required. However, as we have good manners, we've accepted to meet her.
  
  I have planned more than 400 weddings and never had this kind of client or lived in such an embarrassing situation.
  
  This is the first time in my wedding planner career that I receive a claim related to the quality of my services. All the vendors she has hired are those I've introduced her to.
  
  Said that I wonder why she keeps planning her wedding with all those vendors if they are expensive or are scamming her money? All the contracts and costs were submitted to her in advance (video, photo, DJ, Rental 2 different Venues.. etc)
  
  I hope she has a great wedding even having this awful way to treat the people around
