A Stress Free Experience

I had a wonderful experience at Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon and highly recommend it to any bride-to-be. The intimate and quiet setting made the entire process feel so personal and special. I especially want to commend K’ehleyr for her incredible patience and expertise. She truly listened to what I was envisioning, always asking for my opinion first before offering suggestions or allowing the group to provide their thoughts. While I initially had a certain style in mind, K’ehleyr gently directed me towards a different silhouette that I hadn't considered, and it ended up being the dress! I never would have found it without her guidance. I also had a fantastic experience with Bethany, who helped me find the perfect veil to complement my gown. The entire team was professional and so helpful. Loved Lastrina Girls

Absolutely perfect!

I came into Lastrina Girls with an open mind, but a specific dress in mind. I tried on so many beautiful dresses and each of the styles recommended to me were the type of style I was going for. The day was perfect and so much fun!! We had our own private area, which made the day feel even more special. I ended up getting the dress I came for and it was perfect! So many compliments! I went back and got my veil from there as well which was also stunning! Defiant would recommend going to Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon for the whole magical experience! They have so many beautiful dresses, you’re bound to find your dream dress!

I found my dream dress at Lastrina girls. I was looking for something with straps, a simple top, and a fun bottom. And they had it! I loved that their shop is very size inclusive. Like the mannequins aren't even stick thin. It was great to be able to try on a sample and have it be close enough to my size to really be able to visualize what it would look like.

Amazing Experience

Lastrina Girls was the first and last salon I looked at for my wedding dress. I had my appointment with Katie and she was so sweet, kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with her right away and I never felt pushed while I was there. She made my appointment go smoothly and was able to find the perfect dress for me based off of what I described and respected my price range. Katie really helped make my experience exciting while shopping for my dress. I also got some of my accessories from the salon and my alterations were done there. Their professionalism and communication is top notch; no matter who I engaged with at the salon, all the women were extremely friendly and really made me feel special. I am very happy I got my dress from Lastrina Girls!

Wedding Dress Appointment

I cannot recommend Lastrina Girls enough!!! They did a private appointment so it wasn’t crazy busy which I can say was wonderful!! My consultant Holly was absolutely amazing, attentive, knew exactly which items to pull based on what I explained to her, most importantly she was amazing with my 2.5 year old daughter who wanted nothing more than to try on flower girl dresses!!! I can’t thank you ladies enough for a wonderful experience and for helping me to find THE dress!

Beautiful collection of dresses. Nice salon, professional staff. I called them multiple times when I was stressed about my dress and how it would turn out and they were very helpful in reassuring me! I will say in response to some of the comments left about the tailor -- she can be a little stressful to work with in terms of her communication but does a beautiful job in the end.

Amazing experience

I can not say enough great things about this place! As a plus size bride, I found it very difficult to find something that would fit my shape and make me feel like a princess for my big day! As soon as I walked in, I was instantly welcomed with open arms and felt very comfortable. I gave them all of my ideas but told them, I was open to trying a little bit of everything. I am not one to wear a dress but they opened my mind and I fell in love with an amazing Essence of Australia gown. Krista, the owner, was along for the ride and called to check-in and also be there to support me when I said yes to the dress!

Amazing, professional, and affordable

This is the best bridal shop in CT! It’s modern, chic and has a huge selection of dresses. I used them for my dress(bride), my bridesmaids and Mother of the bride dress. Krista, the owner, she is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and will always give you her honest opinion. Krista is so sweet and has been a pleasure to work with. Amazing! Highly recommend, positive body confidence

Ladies, I'm a bigger girl (normal dress size 16/18) and when it came to trying on wedding dresses I was nervous. This salon was amazing in what they have to offer! I actually got to try dresses on that I could fully zip! It made such a difference in the "finding a perfect dress" process to be able to get to see what a dress would look like actually on your body! Thank you!!

Also got my veil here and I'm obsessed with it! I was able to customize it to make it my own!

Friendly and very accommodating!

The ladies at Lastrina were so amazing and helpful! They were the first store I went wedding dress shopping at. I thought I had a silhouette in mind but everything that style I was trying on I hated! They started pulling me different styles. I found one I loved, but I didn't feel comfortable committing on day 1. I went to 2 other bridal salons and kept comparing everything to my dress I found at Lastrina. I called them and asked if I could come by that afternoon to retry on that dress. They fit me in!

Krista and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and above all very kind! I wanted my fiance to help with my search for my wedding dress and they were very welcoming to him in the salon as well!

To finish off my look I went with a cape style veil instead of a headpiece veil that I also bought at Lastrina. My mother also bought her dress at Lastrina and looked beautiful!

Amazing experience with genuine people! I couldn't be happier!

Shopping at Lastrina was one of the best wedding planning decisions that I have made! Initially, I made an appointment here during a sample sale weekend, because I knew that my budget was on the smaller sides compared to what many bridal salons offer. They ended up having several regularly priced options within my budget, too! I found my dress within 30 minutes and I am so in love with it!

The shopping experience itself was amazing; the shop is really beautiful and felt very special just walking in. My consultant, Alyssa, was so kind and genuine. I felt so comfortable talking with her and she was also very interactive with my group as we discussed what we liked/didn't like about different gowns. She and everyone else in the salon were so wonderful and helped me feel really amazing and confident in my decision!

My gown has already come in and I had my try-on appointment last month. Krista, the owner, was right there offering information and input about alterations, answering any questions that I had and making suggestions to help keep costs down. I also accidentally got some make up on my gown (ah!) and Krista herself has worked to remove the stain! She has also been very responsive with any call or email that I make and is helping to schedule my alterations appointment with their tailor that they work with (all of this even during Covid-19 craziness right now!). I highly recommend Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon to any bride looking for an amazing and personalized experience!

Amazing! Dream come true

Where do I begin? Before my appointment I called the shop and the lady on the phone (I believe the owner) was so sweet and encouraging I’m a curvy bride so I was a little nervous and insecure about what would fit me. She gave me that boost of confidence and I went into my appointment enjoying every minute of it! We had the special appointment with snacks and champagne my bridesmaids had so much fun. Alyssa helped me try on dresses and she made me feel so comfortable and at ease, she was so knowledgable and at the end she knew exactly which style and dress I wanted. She helped me make sure the choice i made was the dress I loved and to not let anyone’s opinion alter my choice. I said yes to the dress here and I’m so happy with everything❤️

Beautiful and Classy

The girls at Lastrina were so accommodating! She listened to what I liked and what I didn't like, but had me try on a variety of dresses, even outside my comfort zone, in order to get a perspective on tons of different style dresses. They had a few designers and all the dresses are beautiful and very reasonably prices. They made me feel so beautiful. It was very intimate and my dress is stunning. Experience was a dream come true

After one visit to an off-the-rack store and one full-blown bridal appointment, I was getting overwhelmed. Thankfully, Holly was ready to come to my rescue. Her only request was that I keep talking, even when it was entirely unhelpful like “I don’t know, there’s just something weird about it.” She managed to find something that has every element and tiny detail I liked from the thousands of dresses I’ve looked at and 30+ dresses I’ve tried on, so my dress is this composite of all of my favorite things from all those dresses. I truly had that moment when I felt like a bride and a princess, and the whole store made me feel special and beautiful.

Another thing I loved about this store was that all the sample dresses actually fit me. There’s nothing worse than wanting to try on a dress but not even being able to get it on since the sample is a bridal size 6. The girls made me comfortable and actually promoted healthy body images by having a variety of sizes. I’ve been losing weight to get healthy, so alterations were a concern, but since they can alter down two full sizes, I feel better. The woman who measured me even told me that I don’t even have two sizes to lose, which felt incredible to hear and helps me feel validated for all my hard work. I can’t wait to shop here with Holly for a veil and other accessories!

The best wedding dress shopping experience!

My mom, sister, and I had the most amazing experience dress shopping at Lastrina! I had gone to 2 stores before Lastrina and felt discouraged since my mom and I both fell in love with 2 totally different gowns. Holly, who was AMAZING, listened to my thoughts and found the most perfect dress that my mom, sister, and I all fell in love with! They were super accommodating when I wanted to think about it, and even fit us in to come back later that day (on a really busy Saturday) to try it on one more time before I made a decision. They gave us honest opinions and took my feelings, my family's feelings, and my wedding venue into account. I am so happy to have found my perfect dress there and can't wait for the next steps!

Wonderful experience

This was such a wonderful experience. They only book one appointment per hour so it was quiet and easy. Alyssa was an excellent attendant and found me the perfect dress. They also had several dresses on sale, so it's easy to find something at your price point. The store was beautiful and immaculate. Can't wait to go back for my fitting- would definitely recommend!

I went to 4 different bridal salons and this was by far the best most personal experience and had the best up to date dresses! The consultants really understood what I wanted and guided me to my dress! It is stunning and quite affordable! Under 2,000! I really recommend lastrina girls! Had a great experience finding my dress at Lastrina Girls! The shop is beautiful and the staff really helped me to explore many options without getting overwhelmed. When I went there, I also had bridal appointments at 2 other dress shops and ended up cancelling because I walked out of Lastrina girls with my dress in hand 45 minutes after I walked in. I also bought a stunning headpiece there and used their recommended seamstress, Pina at Flavia's tailoring. AND I used their drycleaning services with great success. Would absolutely recommend Lastrina Girls, they definitely know what they are doing!

Krista has been amazing. I flew in from another state to spend the holidays with family and Krista made time for me to come in the day before Christmas. I told her what I was looking for and she had a great selection. She ended up pulling out a dress that was not what I thought I was looking for but she asked me to try it on anyway. She said she had a feeling about this dress and she was right. It ended up being the dress that I picked and I can't wait to wear it for my wedding. Because I am not local she spoke with me at length about what I needed to look for in a tailor from hidden fees to the fitting timeline. She always responds to emails and phone calls immediately. I can't say enough good things.

I went to Lastrina Girls on another local bride’s recommendation. Amy found my perfect dress on the first try. She had asked me to show her pictures of styles I was thinking of trying and my price point. I was willing to try different styles to see what might look best on me. She stayed within my modest price point and the first dress was perfect. I tried on a few more to be sure, and I was temporarily torn between 2 similar dresses, but the price and fit of the first one won me over. I went with a strapless fit-and-flare with a corset back, which worked out well for my constant fluctuations in size. The entire process was stress-free and easy. I did all of my fitting appointments at their tailor’s shop instead of in the salon due to my schedule, which was wonderful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Krista, Melissa, Pina and the rest of their team at Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon! I worked with Melissa during my appointment, and felt like royalty. The salon was empty during my time block, and I appreciated the intimacy and quiet environment while we discussed my wedding and shared ideas of gowns I was looking for. I'm so thrilled to say the very first dress I tried on was the one. I traveled to another appointment at another high-end salon that day, and was appalled at the hectic environment and the lack of knowledge of the staff. Needless to say, none of the gowns compared to the styles at Lastrina Girls. I'm so grateful that I not only found the gown of my dreams at Lastrina Girls, but that I was able to experience such a warm and welcoming environment. Krista, Melissa, and Pina treated me like family and made me feel like the most beautiful bride. I would highly recommend that Lastrina Girls is on every bride's list for both bridal dresses and bridesmaids dresses. My bridesmaids got their bridesmaids dresses from Lastrina Girls and the girls looked so fabulous in them. It can be hard sometimes to pick dress that looks good on different heights and body types, but Krista had so many options to choose from. So many guests at our wedding complimented how beautiful the dresses were and what a perfect color they were. When I visited Krista I knew I wanted a "natural" color, but wasn't sure what color to choose - it can be a pick choice and it determines a lot of the details at the wedding. Krista was so knowledgable about what color looked good in pictures and with different tones and her recommendations were on point! I cannot thank Krista and her team enough! She is such a doll to work with and super professional - always answering all my emails and phone calls timely and patiently! Thank you again :)

Lastrina Girls was the first place I went to look for my dress. From the minute we walked in to my appointment they were so welcoming and we were the only people there. It was nice being the only bride with an appointment you really got that 1:1 attention from all the wonderful ladies that work there and they make you feel so special. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted which was and A line. They put me in every style of gown to try and see what I liked and ended up picking a fit and flare. They really knew what they were doing and made me feel so special during the process. When I kept going back to the third dress they dressed me up with a veil and flowers and I ended up purchasing the dress. Going back for alterations and fittings was painless, they were flexible with when I could come and always welcomed me by name and really made you feel special in your pick. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a more quiet place and has really nice gowns of all styles. Mine was a Stella York. I wish I could do it all again!

Krista is absolutely awesome. She helped me pick out the perfect wedding dress. It was gorgeous and our wedding guests are still talking about it. Krista is very honest and kind--I always felt comfortable and appreciated her insight. She will not let you walk out the door with a dress that doesn't look perfect on you. I highly recommend LaStrina Girls!

I had stopped at several places for my dress. I really just didn't feel pretty in any of them - until I went to Lastrina's! By far the best place! Every single dress in that place was absolutely stunning. All the woman in there were so helpful and truly cared about your big deal. They made me feel special and respected my budget. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Every Bride knows that the dress is a MAJOR thing. Not only do you want to feel special and beautiful but you want to feel 100% sure of your decision.
Lastrina Girls offers a VIP type appointment where you are the only bride in the store and get treated like a princess basically. I went into my appointment very nervous about my body type and with a very specific style in mind that I hoped I love on me as much as I have seen on the models. Krista was able to make me feel at ease and comfortable in my own skin while she put me in multiple dresses that fit what I was looking for. She would ask me what I specifically liked and didn't like of every dress I put on so that she could figure out EXACTLY what I wanted. It only took us 5 dresses to find THE ONE.
From the very start, through the 2 fittings, to pick up everyone at the salon was amazing.

I could not have had a better experience with Lastrina Girls! Krista was amazing to work with. She helped me find the perfect dress and was so reassuring throughout the entire process. Lastrina Girls was the only bridal salon that I visited, and would highly recommend for any bride to be. I was drawn into the store from our jeweler as well as their summer allure trunk show. When I arrived with my mother, future mother in law and sister in law we were seated and spoke with Krista about my wedding, dress budget, venue, and likes/dislikes. Both Krista and her staff pulled 5 or 6 dresses, the first being what I thought was the ONE. It wasn’t until Krista herself pulled something that on the hanger did not look like something I would have chosen. Well, it ended up being the dress! From that day forward I was updated frequently on the status of my dress, and booked easily for my fittings. I did use the in house tailor without any issues – although I did not require many alterations because I was fitted so well! She also offers many sales throughout the year including one for veils in which I was able to try on the sample dress and veil together. Krista’s salon is a hidden gem – both herself and staff are extremely professional and easy to work with. I will miss my visits there as they made me feel like the one and only bride to be!

Wedding dress shopping can be stressful but this was certainly not my experience at Lastrina girls in Middletown, CT. We were a small bridal shopping group, just my mom and I, and Lastrina was one of four salons we were visiting in the few days she was up visiting from New Jersey. As soon as we walked into Lastrina, we were greeted by Krista and felt immediately at ease. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly kind. Her goal was to learn about me so that she could help me choose the dress that would fit my personality and expectations. Rather than immediately showing us dresses, she sat down with us, asking how I wanted to feel on our wedding day, what our ceremony and reception was going to be like, and other details about the day. Her final question was about our budget and she never brought me a dress that was over that amount. There also was never any pressure to purchase a dress and she understood that I was still in the process of shopping around. I fell in love with dress there but had one other appointment that afternoon. After that appointment, and having not found any dress or any other experience we loved as much, we returned to Lastrina and Krista! We purchased my dream dress and I could not have been happier with my first experience shopping there and the subsequent alternations that followed. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, Krista and the other staff at Lastrina remained incredibly warm and friendly. I was so happy with my dress the day of the wedding and loved every minute of wearing it!

I ended up starting off my dress search at Lastrina girls because my best friend had such a wonderful experience with her own dress last year. As soon as I got there I felt relaxed, Krista the owner is amazing. She asks you all about your wedding, and how you want to look and feel on your big day. I spotted a dress I wanted to try as soon as I got there, and that’s the first one Krista pulled! She pulled a mix of all different ones that were so beautiful! I never ever thought I would feel so beautiful in a dress. The first one I tried on that Krista picked was mine. I knew it, and didn’t want to take it off! I tried on all the other pulled dresses and even tried on a couple my Mom and Sister pulled. I put the dress of my dreams back on and begin posing for pictures with my family. It was such a fun and relaxing time. Krista really makes you and your family feel so important. We had the entire salon to ourselves. She told us where to take good pictures, and jacked me up with a veil to really get the “OMG its real” feeling! Since my sister was there, we even had time to try on bridesmaid dress and see how a couple looked up against my dress to get the full effect. Krista really has an eye for this stuff; my mom was so impressed with everything she started to tear up a bit. It was such an amazing experience I look forward to every appointment I have with them! Truly a magical day for me and my family, it’s everything you want when dress shopping for your wedding dress!

Krista and her amazing team helped me through my whole wedding process. From helping me with all the details of my dress, which I had cut in the front to see my cowboy boots, alterations, belt styles, fittings, to all of my bridesmaids, they were amazing and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. Krista responded within a day whenever I changed my mind on color or had a question about a bridesmaid. She knew my name every time I walked in and checked in with me during the whole process. The type of service and detail Krista and her whole team provided was so personal, they didn't treat my wedding party and me like just another wedding party. We felt special and important and taken care of. Lastrina Girls definitely raises the bar when it comes to customer service and they made wedding dress and bridesmaid dress shopping fun and relaxing.

Krista is simply amazing. She knows best how to pick dresses that look great on any figure. She found the perfect dress for my body type, and I couldn't be any happier. Her boutique is beautiful, and the appointments were always private, which added a special touch when trying on gowns. She is friendly, accommodating, and very easy to work with. She met all of my needs and was always happy to help. She also helped my sister find her wedding gown 3 years ago. I am so impressed by her and would recommend her to anyone.

This was my first and only stop for my wedding dress! My girlfriend was looking for bridal shops close to my wedding venue and found Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon. Krista, the owner, was very friendly and patient. She offered advice and suggestions in a very gentle manner. I returned to the store with my mother who also thought Krista was delightful. It was very easy to schedule appointments and fittings. If I had any inquiries, Krista got back to me right away. I had purchased a veil elsewhere without having my dress. When I tried them on together the colors were not a match. This was about 6 weeks out from the wedding. I needed loops in my veil instead of a comb and Krista checked with the company she uses for veils and they said they could accommodate my request. I completely left the veil selection up to Krista. I trusted her and I knew at this point she knew me and she knew my style. She picked the perfect veil- I loved it!! It was such a pleasant experience working with Krista!

Lastrina Girls has a great selection of beautiful dresses. So many in fact that I had a hard time choosing between a few of them. Krista, the owner, was so wonderful and helped me throughout the process. I was definitely not an easy customer - I went back and forth and changed my mind a lot. She was so patient and sweet and never made me feel pressured to make a decision right away. I ended up buying an absolutely stunning dress for an incredible price. I'm so happy I went there!

I was more than satisfied with my wedding dress purchase from Lastrina Girls Bridal. The owner Krista went above and beyond to help me with the dress and finding accessories. I was constantly at the bridal shop to try on the floor sample for friends and family and she never made me feel like I was a nuisance. What can I say? This was the most important part of my wedding to me (other than my husband) and Krista was such a blessing. I wore a La Sposa gown that I never would have even tried on if she hadn't pushed me and I fell absolutely in love with it. She was so helpful right up until the day of the wedding with every detail regarding my dress and I couldn't have gotten through the process without her. I went to Krista a few years back when she first opened in a little shop that she shared with a tux/suit shop. I am so glad my wedding was put on hold because I got to go back to Krista when she moved and had a much better/bigger selection of dresses to choose from. Krista's new shop is beautiful. Krista and her staff were phenomenal! I fell in love with my dress the moment I put it on. Appointments were always prompt and the staff was always friendly. My only complaint I would have was that the seamstress who did my bustle didn't do a good job. My dress ripped as soon as the bustle was put together so I spent my whole night carrying around my dress. I would recommend Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon to anyone looking for a bridal dress!

I visited about 8 different stores when looking for a wedding dress and Lastrina was my favorite by far. The store has a good variety of styles without being huge and overwhelming. Krista was very helpful in choosing a dress, professional yet friendly. She was one of the few shop owners who did not make me feel guilty for not wanting to spend a fortune on my dress. She also helped me choose bridesmaids colors and was very flexible with the bridesmaids about coming in for fittings. She called me later to let me know that all my girls had not ordered their dresses yet before it had to become a rush order. I highly recommend this bridal salon!

I had the most wonderful experience with Krista at Lastrina Girls. She has a beautiful selection of dresses, a very large and comfortable dressing room, and I was the only appointment scheduled at that time (I don't think she books more than one at once) which allowed Krista to focus completely on me. I needed a dress with hardly any time before my wedding and she had a beautiful sample gown that flattered my body and fit my venue and image for the day perfectly. She also carries many sample dresses in larger sizes than a regular bridal shop because she understands that so many brides are not waif-thin -- and those dresses are flattering to curves!! Krista has a great eye for curating her dress collection and was super sweet and helpful.
Half a star off for value because we found afterward that a formal dress we purchased off-the-rack was sold in 2 other stores for cheaper. The gowns appeared to be priced well and reasonably.

Great Experience at Salon but Avoid the Tailor!!!

Lastrina was the third (yes, the third) bridal salon in hopes of finding a dress and they definitely delivered! I was very happy with my whole experience with finding a dress, to being informed when it was delivered and scheduling fittings. The customer service at this salon was outstanding.

I will also add that I highly recommend using a tailor other than the one they recommend (Flavia's) because I spent over $800 in alterations and only had my dress taken in .5 inches on each side! I definitely feel like I got ripped off by the recommended tailor!

Amazing to work with and a great selection

Everyone at the Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon was very nice and welcoming and I immediately felt like they truly cared about helping me find the dress for my big day! The bridal consultant I worked with was so enthusiastic about helping me and was able to find amazing options based on what I was describing that I wanted as well as the vibe of my wedding. All of the dresses are beautiful and accommodate a variety of budgets, which was nice. Also, the layout of the space is great- big open windows, and plenty of seating and room so no one felt squished- these things really make a difference! The dressing room is also very spacious. And then finally when I found my dress I felt like they were celebrating with me and were genuinely happy, and did a great job of explaining the terms of the purchase. I would definitely recommend them! They’re amazing and I look forward to working with them more moving forward.

I had a great experience at Lastrinas Bridal Salon! Katie was our bridal consultant and she was so sweet and knowledgeable and so amazing through the dress shopping process! Katie made me feel so comfortable and beautiful with every dress I tried on…she was so helpful when I was stuck between two dresses and was patient with me as I decided between the two. I ultimately ended up with my dream dress! I’m so excited! Thank you Lastrina! The first girl I worked with found a lot of the dresses I showed her from my phone. The dress I picked was the 4th from last dress I tried on. A little pushy on asking me if it was the dress but I new I loved it so there was no problem there. Great people to talk to and a pleasure doing business with.

Beautiful Dress

Lastrina Girls was my first wedding dress shopping appointment and the consultant pulled a beautiful, unique dress just a couple of dresses into the appointment. It became the dress to beat all day at my other appointments and when I called the next day to come back and try it back on and finalize my decision, the staff at Lastrina made it happen. My dress arrived earlier than expected, and the rest of the fitting and tailoring process went seamlessly, though I didn’t need major changes. Everyone was professional and efficient. Quality dresses for reasonable prices, but poor customer service

Lastrina definitely has a gorgeous selection of dresses for reasonable prices, however, I did not have a good customer service experience a single time I visited the shop. During my initial appointment, my consultant had zero personality and my best friend ended up selecting my dress because the consultant was no help. When I went back to try on my dress for the first time after it came in, once again I was met with meek consultants who basically peeled my delicate dress off of me. When I went back a third time to do my first fitting alone, I had no help getting in or out of my dress and basically had to coach another consultant into helping me get my shoes on. I am pretty laid back so I did not let these poor customer service experiences phase me too much because I was happy with my dress, however, I do think that this could upset other brides so I wanted to share my honest experience. The owner (Kristina?) is sweet and bubbly, but I had little interaction with her. Lastly, the seamstresses and tailors who they work with do fantastic work. I had no problems with them, however when I had to switch my first fitting appointment and reschedule with Lastrina, Lastrina never called them to inform them I had switched dates so it appeared to them like I was a no-show and Lastrina also did not clearly communicate with me how I was supposed to pay for my deposit so I came unprepared to my first fitting. Overall, nice dresses and good prices, but I felt like there was zero customer service as well as poor handling of my precious wedding dress -- especially after it was paid for!

I cannot say one bad thing about Krista and her bridal salon! They were wonderful. The only problem I encountered was with the tailor recommended to my bridesmaids and their dresses needing to be revised the day before the wedding! They did get their dresses from Lastrina as well so I just wish the quality of service was reciprocated by the tailoring afterwards.

I tried my hardest to give this salon a chance, I honestly did. But from the moment I walked in, I was made to feel like my day was not important to them. I am a bride and went there to buy dresses for my bridesmaids and my mother.
...they gave my mother absolutely no time! Wouldn't even pull dresses for her, I had to do the work and help her into the dresses myself!!
Then I found a bridesmaid dress I liked but needed a dress for my junior bridesmaids as well. They informed me that the dress I picked could not come in junior sizes so they showed me the only 2 dresses in the store that could come in a junior dress. I hated both picks but reluctantly settled on one that matched with my other girls....
Fast forward 10 weeks, my junior bridesmaid dresses came in, and they were each 4-6 sizes too big!!!! My mother, a 43 year old woman who has had 3 children could fit in one of the dresses! The dress even had boobs! Even the bridesmaid dresses which they measured in their own store weren't even close to fitting the girls.
I called the store to see if they could help this monstrosity of a mess, and they just keep saying it's my fault that my girls were too thin for their companies sizing!
Instead of apologizing for misleading me and helping to compensate my girls for this disaster, they kept insisting that the dresses they ordered for my junior bridesmaids were in fact junior sizes and fit most girls so they didn't understand why the dress didn't fit... Please save yourself the headache and the embarrassment on your wedding day and go somewhere else!!!

Unprofessional - would not recommend

Lastrina Girls carries a great variety of dresses. This was the second store I looked at and instantly fell in love with my dress. I had a great initial experience and impression of Lastrina Girls. However, once my dress arrived, things changed drastically. To start, they ordered the WRONG SIZE dress. They remeasured me and told me I gained 5 inches (but only in my hips, no where else). The owner (Krista) was rude and not easy to work with. We brought the dress to a recommended tailor and the owner was still talking poorly about me to her own tailor!
Thankfully, her tailor worked her magic and I was able to wear the dress and didn't let this ruin my wedding. If I could go back, I would DEFINITELY NOT go here, nor would I recommend this place.

Horrible experience

Honestly... I thought my bridal party and I hit the jack pot by supporting a local business when buying our dresses. First off.. every dress is freaking wrong. Something is wrong with my dress, my bridal parties dresses, and my MIL dress.. now we all tried to calmly fix our dresses without going into anger over board. Their seamstress is utterly rude, she told
Me I need to walk and loose weight before my first official fitting..... I was so upset
I called my mother and she went and got my dress and she was utterly rude and disrespectful to my mother.I called to express my feelings I get told “Let me make this clear I talked to our seamstress and she never told you to walk walk walk to fit into your dress” right then and there the owner tried to make me, my mother, and my mother in law all liars when my mother was basically screaming at the seamstress for how disrespectful and rude she was. In my eyes if you wanted to better your business don’t ever be that rude to a bridal to be or her party. None of us is happy with any dresses from them. The experience was horrible. I ended up having to buy a brand new dress at David’s bridal and the girls there made me feel absolutely beautiful and was wonderful and listened to my horrible experience at Lastrina and my experience at David’s was so amazing that I felt like a bride. The girls are snotty and think they know everything when in the end they can’t measure anyone right, I think there needs to be professionals who know how to actually measure girls to their true size... the girls who measure are clearly there just for a paycheck. Because if they knew what they were doing our dresses wouldn’t have so many problems. & Their dresses are shitty material, they are just rude and unprofessional. At first I thought we hit the jackpot and now with my wedding in 18days I needed to buy a whole new dress. Do not even waste your time or money going to this bridal salon. All they care about is the money you spend, they do not care about sending you off with happiness. No bride ever should go through any of these problems. My dress from David’s fits ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So if I could rate them a 0 at lastrinas I would too bad google doesn’t allow you to.... imagine just imagine having a dress with snags and not fitting you when you are the bride and getting utterly rude feedback from the salon and seamstress.... not the way a bride should imagine her experience. Don’t waste your time with this salon,
Go to an actual bridal salon who will make you feel like a bride and have a huge selection to try on... and will make your party and mothers feel beautiful too. Like I said.. don’t waste your time or money going to this bridal salon. Go somewhere who knows what they are doing and how to treat the brides to be and the bridal party. They only care about making money at this salon.
