The Larkspur wedding venue in Vail was an idyllic mountain setting for our daughter’s Fall wedding on September 24, 2023. Now that the wedding festivities have all concluded, we
look back and know this venue exceeded our expectations! This is due to the picturesque surroundings, the venue décor and the outstanding service of the entire Larkspur team.
The sales and event team, Isabel and Sadie, ensured that all of our needs were met and coordinated to make Heather and Chris’s wedding a flawless event. The food and beverage were exceptional, and the cake was amazing! Our guests said they loved the venue and the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding!
A special thanks and shout out to the Larkspur team for making our family’s heritag, of three generations married in Eagle county an, endearing event that we will remember the rest of our lives! Anyone looking to do a destination wedding should consider the Larkspur—it was outstanding! -

I LOVE the Larkspur!! I'm a wedding planner and get to work with all kinds of venues and staff, and these guys are some of the best! From the very beginning, Sadie and the team were responsive and insightful. They made everything so easy to decide on and kept everything organized and timely for our clients. We hosted the rehearsal dinner and welcome event at The Larkspur and it was such a hit! Their food is amazing, the quality of their service is even better, and all guests and family were glowing with happiness and appreciation- thoroughly enjoying their experience. I cannot recommend the Larkspur enough!! -

The Larkspur exceeded our expectations in every way for my daughter’s wedding. Isabel and Sadie were responsive and so helpful in designing a menu that worked within our budget. Multiple guests commented on the beautiful venue and excellent food. Several guests said the dinner and cake were the best they’d ever had at a wedding! I had such confidence in Larkspur’s professionalism I didn’t worry at all about execution. Service was flawless! We visited many options in Vail and truly believe Larkspur offered a unique wedding experience that was worth every penny. -

We had our rehearsal dinner at Larkspur and it was fantastic! The location is perfect and very easy to get to plus has a very picturesque backdrop. The service and food were spectacular and our guests truly had a great time. Highly recommend! -

We cannot express enough how incredible our wedding weekend was in Vail, and how amazing Larkspur Events & Dining was in every possible way - we have received so many compliments from our guests on the location just at the base of the mountain, the service (seriously incredible), the food (y'all, the food is seriously so incredible, our guests still talk about it), the drinks (the Larkspur Lightning was a HUGE hit), the s'mores... I could keep going on! Isabel was incredible to work with from the beginning and incredibly accommodating, especially when COVID hit and we had to postpone. The whole Larkspur team really brought our entire dream and vision to life - we will cherish our memories from that weekend for the rest of our lives without a doubt. -

Dream Vail wedding venue
As a Colorado Wedding Photographer I always love to come back to Larkspur Dining and Events to document beautiful Colorado weddings. It not only provides a gorgeous view of the mountains during your ceremony, but also hosts several wedding reception options. If you have a more intimate wedding the Larkspur restaurant is an ideal location to host your wedding. But if you are looking for a bigger wedding the vast Larkspur grounds allow for a tent setup. And a tent wedding provides you lots of options to make your dream wedding come true. Not only are the ground and views ideal, but also its location in the heart of Vail. With access to many hotels in the area your guests will have lots of options to choose from and will be able to plan their perfect wedding weekend getaway. One of my favorite things at the Larkspur is their catering and their staff. Vendors are provided with excellent meals after a long day of hard work with a lovely catering staff. And it’s always nice to see that vendors are appreciated alongside the wedding itself. Hence, I absolutely adore the Larkspur. If you are looking for your dream Vail wedding I can only recommend the Larkspur after having shot there for several years in a row now. Let your party planning begin here! -

We work at several venues for both floral and wedding planning and we love working at the Larkspur! Especially in 2020. They were able to accommodate several couples that had to choose a new venue because of COVID restrictions. The food is amazing, the staff is professional, and the venue is gorgeous. I would highly recommend for couples looking for a wedding venue! -

We booked Larkspur a month from our wedding date and they could not have been more professional, accommodating, and just straight up EPIC. Food is amazing. Views are amazing. Service is spectacular. We had a plated dinner and our guests are still raving about the food. Thanks to Larkspur for working one of the best/most epic weekend of our lives!!! -

Beyond Expectations
Larkspur did an amazing event. Even though this was very small (25 people) Meredith and Isabelle made us feel important and were extremely responsive. They arranged fabulous locations for the ceremony, reception and dinner. And the food was really gourmet (and we are NY foodies). Everyone, including The waitstaff, was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Larkspur for helping us host the perfect wedding! -

Wedding Reception Location
Larkspur did an amazing job for our wedding reception. The location is beautiful and offers a variety of options for the ceremony and reception. They are comprehensive in the services they provide to include food, beverage/drink, cake, accessories for wedding (i.e dance floor), etc. The food was amazing and everybody at our wedding could not stop talking about how good it was. The cake was perfect and they worked with our florist to decorate the cake to our liking. The staff were absolutely professional and ensured all of our needs were met. We were so happy to have our wedding here and were able to enjoy every second of the night! -

My daughter had to make a last-minute change when the Vail Wedding Deck was cancelled (COVID-19) and the Larkspur team graciously accommodated our party of 30. In hindsight, I wish we had just booked the Larkspur to begin with. We used the outside grassy field, which had a gorgeous backdrop of the Gore Range, and we had a backup indoor great hall if the weather was bad. The staff provided water and light snacks and discreetly made themselves available when we needed anything. I would highly recommend the Larkspur; easy access from Vail Village, plenty of parking and right at the base of Gopher Hill, the Mid-Vail gondola is a short walk away. Our photographer took the wedding party up to Mid-Vail for pictures that were outstanding. All-in-all, I highly recommend the Larkspur for wedding events. -
