Amazing experience

The day I met Yinka, it felt like I had known her for ages. She was very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Because I made my appointment last minute, she had only 12noon appointment slot left and I was concerned about how long the make up would stay on my face since my party was at 6pm. Well I’m glad to say that the make up remained matte and FLAWLESS up until 3am the next day. I almost did not want to take it off. I will always recommend Laomiz beauty for any event and will continue booking her for mine😊

Attention to details and high quality work

I have been to Laomiz a couple of times now, for facials and make up application. I have been very satisfied every time. She pays attention to details and she tailors her services to your needs. My eyes are very sensitive to touch and she was very gentle with my makeup application to prevent any eye irritation. Very professional and punctual and a highly skilled make up artist and esthetician. I highly recommend her.

Outstanding MUA!

Yinka is tremendously talented and made me feel so comfortable. Her studio was glamorous and relaxing and I was blown away by the results. I captured my vision perfectly. I will hire her again and again!

Laomiz Beauty did my makeup for a wedding I attended on October 7, 2018. She was very professional, she knew what kind of products to use on my face and even advised what I should use to take care of my face. My makeup was flawless and I got so many compliments. I will definitely use her again!!

Yinka was amazing! She made me feel so beautiful for my wedding day! She made everything easy and stress free! Everyone loved my makeup and hair. She even helped with getting my dress on and adjusted to get the best photos for my photographer! She didn't need to, but she wanted to help. I would def recommend here for any events, big or small!

I love Laomiz' work, I keep coming back because of her top quality skill and professionalism. This particular event was for pictures and video and I have never looked better in front of the camera! I don’t know why I haven’t used Laomiz all these years. Hands down the most professional makeup artist I have used. She didn’t rush my make up. She asked me questions as she went along and let me know why she was using certain products. She was very interested in my skin and made sure she used the right products for my skin type. I was very clear in telling her what I wasn’t comfortable with and she listened. I will continue using Laomiz and I am looking forward to the next event. FYI you are in good hands with Laomiz.

She is one of the best persons, I have ever worked with. From the moment she walked into my hotel room, I knew things would be ok. I have worked with so many vendors professionally & personally, but LAOMIZ takes the cake! From my initial conversation with her about my vision, to beating my face to the gawds, to staying to the end of my photoshoot- she even drove me to the shoot when i realized i was going to be late, she blew my mind! I would use her again, & you would be doing yourself a disservice not to hire her!
She will go above & beyond her role as your Make Up Artist. This is an attribute people charge extra for.

Yinka is amazingly talented! I used my trial for my engagement photos and was so impressed with my look. On my wedding day, Yinka made me feel like the most beautiful person on earth. My make-up was GORGEOUS!!! She knew what looks would compliment my skin tone, and she was open to ideas and suggestions for personal preference. Not only did she make me feel amazing, she did a great job on my Mom and Mother-In-Law as well. They both loved their looks, and they radiated confidence the entire day. I cannot thank Yinka enough for completing my wedding look, and being an essential part in making my fairytale wedding dreams come true! I wish I could hire her to do my make-up everyday :)

So, I honestly don’t write reviews, and would rather share my experience in person, but I would be doing you all an injustice for not doing so. Excuse the long review. Laomiz Beauty was contracted to take care of my bridesmaids makeup needs. Her experience, value, ideas etc couldn’t be overlooked.

Ok. First off, Yinka of Laomiz Beauty equates to the epitome of humility and professionalism. She arrived at my venue, the Engineers Club in Baltimore, way before the contracted time (and at no extra cost). She offered champagne and fruit to the gals while rendering services. She did 4 girls in total. She did a fantabulous (if that’s even a word) on my bridal gals. People couldn’t stop complementing them and the pictures were amazing!!

Laomiz Beauty has expertise in both hair and makeup. I, however, saw over 400 reviews for “Up Do’s for I Do’s” and figured I would have them do my hair. You would think the more reviews, the better right? NOPE not true at all. So I paid almost $300 which is quite high for 1 person, but Up Do’s for I Do’s has a 4 person minimum and my bridal party didn’t have a need for hair services, just myself. I didn’t fully mind paying that much because again I was expecting top notch service (on-site). I wanted a Renaissance Braid, which is 1 huge classy yet loose braid to one side of my shoulder. The artist, Tionna, who was contracted to do my hair struggled and never was able to secure a good start let alone finish. She made excuses the entire time & with over 10+ attempts to do a simple braid, I asked to be excused as I was flustered & cried because Tionna couldn’t do the braid.

Out of nowhere, Yinka of Laomiz Beauty, noticed the issue and offered to help Tionna. After additional failed attempts, I kindly asked Yinka if she could do my hair, though she had my girls makeup to complete. Can I tell you EVERYONE especially me, was so IMPRESSED! I received so many compliments. Thanks so much Laomiz Beauty for making my wedding a day to remember!

I absolutely loved having Yinka as my MUA for my traditional wedding. Not only was she on time (read early) but myself was running a little late. She kept a smile on her face even then. My bridesmaids were running late and family and vendors were raging my phone but she kept me focus. Kept me smiling. Sane really. She is a true professional but her warmth makes her feel like part of the fam. Her aim is to not only make you look beautiful but to make you feel special as well. For her it was mission accomplished. Even the photographer was jealous that she was able to get me to laugh out loud. You will not regret using her services.

FYI She also does Beauty treatments and ties gele (Gorgeously)!

Yinka was very professional, arrived early to the venue with plenty of time to prepare for my performance. She also took great pictures of me and touched up my hair for me which was not in our original agreement. I appreciate her for going above and beyond the call of duty. Laomiz hooked me uppppp! Lol.. felt so beautiful and chic, classy, awesome, elegant, with so much grace. Had acne issues and she worked on my skin for weeks to get a clearer and more healthy skin by the wedding day. My blemishes were almost non existent. The services I utilized were for use as a wedding guest and included makeup, eyebrow shaping, lashes, and gele tying. Yinka was an absolute pleasure and a joy to work with. I must say I never do reviews but, I have to tell everyone about Laomiz. I have used Laomiz Makeup Pro many times and everytime I walk away happy and looking my best. The owner of Laomiz is a true professional she takes her job very seriously. She really take the time to listens to her customers beauty and makeup needs and wants. She does a great job at executing her work and I must say she is a true perfectionist. I used Laomiz this past August for my wedding and they did a great time. They arrived at the venue on time and ready to work. All my bridesmaids looked phenomenal and my makeup was gorgeous.They stayed with me up in tell the wedding started to make sure I looked flawless and even give me a touch up kit. I would most definitely use them again and again in the future.

Yinka I cannot even begin to speak of how highly impressed I was at her service. I was looking for someone to tie my gele when I called her. But it was a joint package with makeup. I did not want to wash my face off last night. It still looked great at 1am. She's a sweet person, felt like I knew her for years. Book her for your glam needs. You will NOT be disappointed. I am not very good at writing reviews so please bare with me. I started searching for a make-up artist for my wedding back in December 2014. Since then, there has been consistent communication regarding information for the contract to the actual event. She answered any question I had regarding make-up and there was also a payment plan set up that worked for me. I was beyond happy the day of my wedding, my bridesmaids looked amazing and they loved their hair and make-up and I was speechless. Laomiz Make-up Pro is one of a kind, she was very punctual the day of (unlike my caterer who was 3 hours late the day of my wedding) and got the job done. If I could give 10 stars I would because it is well deserved. I will be contacting her again for future events, trust me. Can't thank her enough, her services are a gift and I'm so happy I choose Laomiz to make me pretty for my wedding. Thank you!!!!

Let me start by saying Laomiz make-up pro by Yinka is AMAZING. Yinka did my hair and make-up for my wedding on Nov 1st. Her work can be described in one word...Perfection. I knew I was in great hands after our make up trial and I never once worried about anything. Yinka is very talented and creative and she took her time to DOLL me up.

Yinka is a beautiful person inside and out. She was fun and easy going. She was one of the best decision I made when it came to my wedding.

I had previously used Laomiz Makeup for a friend's wedding and she blew me away with her amazing skills, wonderful down to earth personality! I knew at that moment she would be the one doing my makeup/hair styling and gele tying for my wedding. On the day of the event, she made sure my mother and I looked exquisite with our makeup and headtie . She was very attentive to our needs and even went beyond what we agreed to, just to ensure we looked our best. Laomiz is wonderful and had provided me with the best makeup and headtie I could ever ask for. I had many trials with other people and ultimately couldn't decide what I wanted. Nothing seemed perfect. I asked around and found Laomiz. Her reviews were outstanding, so I decided to give her a try. Luckily for me, she was available. She worked with my mom and I .Gave us a look we dreamed about in our heads and we LOVED her makeup application. I am not sure if words can truly express how great I think Laomiz is. She exceeded my expectations in every way and went far and beyond. From our first meeting, I felt so comfortable with her and I just knew she would be amazing! I decided to book her to stay with me until after the ceremony and pictures, and I have to say it was the best decision I had made. On the day of my wedding,she showed up early smiling with excitement! Her bubbly personality and caring nature instantly eased my nerves. Not only did she do my makeup, she did five of my bridesmaids makeup absolutely beautiful and flawless, she was my best friend for the day! I love Laomiz make up. The fact that she does makeup and gele head tie (Africa wrap head-tie) is a rating of five stars. Laomiz is very patient and friendly to what I wanted, never judgemental, she would make helpful suggestions, without making me feel overpowered. Mrs. Omisore did my makeup around this time last year for prom and graduation and her work was absolutely stunning! I loved my makeup for both occasions. She is patient, kind, and professional. Her prices were very affordable, especially for students. I would highly recommend her for any event that you need a makeup artist.
