Langtree Plantation Reviews

Pre-COVID, we were planning a two day Indian-American fusion wedding with 350 guests. Many venues we toured in Charlotte that could accommodate this capacity were outside of our budget, but Langtree Plantation was very well-priced for the services provided. They allowed us to provide our own alcohol (assuming we obtained appropriate licensing for the events), bring in 2 caterers, and use some of their linens/decor. On top of all this, the property is beautiful - especially during the spring! The grass was freshly mowed the day of our event, and everything was set up as planned. We utilized the plantation house for getting ready on both days, the arbor outside for our ceremony, the Boulder room for our cocktail hour, and the Pavilion for our sangeet and reception. Lisa was super helpful and quick to respond to emails/texts with venue related questions. She even allowed us to store items in the venue in advance of the wedding for smoother setup.

We had our wedding at Langtree Plantation on 9/1/19 and it was beautiful! We used all 4 spaces they offered, the house to get ready in, the barn for the ceremony, the boulder room for the bridal party, and the pavilion for the reception! The staff was so great and let us rehearse 2 days before and let us store all of the decorations there until our wedding on Sunday! They did a fantastic job coordinating with us and were very responsive with questions asked! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Lisa and the owner at Langtree Plantation were so amazing to work with, they answered every question, were so attentive to details and truly made our day so unique and special. For the price you get about 5 different places on site to host an event and being the only ones on site that day made it so special and feel so elegant. We originally planned to get married on the lawn but with pouring rain that morning Langtree let us wait until only 2 hours before the wedding to change our minds and get married in the barn. We were so impressed by their willingness to work with our needs and flexibility to do whatever we needed that day. The house is absolutely beautiful inside and all staff on site were great to work with. I would recommend Langtree to anyone getting married in the Lake Norman area!

Beautiful private spacious venue. Grounds are gorgeous. They give you the property for the entire day, and go out of their way to not only accommodate, but also to assist, in helping everything run super smooth. Highly recommend

Langtree Plantation is a beautiful spot and was a fabulous place to have our reception. We had our ceremony at a local church, but their ceremony space (usually the barn) is really great if you want to keep things all in one place. My bridesmaids and I had fun getting ready in the old house on the property. It has a renovated kitchen space that was great to keep our lunch and snacks throughout the day. Langtree also provides a "house mom" to make sure you have everything you need on the day of.

The main reception space (the Pavilion) is only a few years old and kept up very well. The space is open, but nicely finished, providing a great canvas for whatever your style might be. You aren't limited to a rustic look like the name of the venue might suggest. The only suggestion I have is to keep past floor plans on hand. If brides could use these as models to give direction to the Langtree staff for set up, that would make the process a little easier. Overall though, no complaints, only compliments! We would definitely recommend Langtree to family and friends who are getting married.

Langtree is a BEAUTIFUL place and it was a perfect dream come true on our wedding day. We had a beautiful house to get ready in, a fire pit, huge modern reception hall great cocktail hour location, beautiful filed for the ceremony and big clean restrooms. The staff is wonderful, especially Lisa. She will take care of you. I do not recommend trying to do an all inclusive package with them no matter how enticing the price may seem. It is not worth the stress is actually causes. The grounds are breathtaking ! I HIGHLY recommend them. On our wedding day Lisa and the owner (Rick) were there to make sure everything went smoothly. Rick even drove my husband and I back to our hotel in a trolly! I had my bridal pictures done there too. They were SO accommodating for the rehearsal and set up. I wish the night didn't end!
