The process was better than I could have asked for, everyone that I worked with was so kind and helpful. A wonderful bridal shop

I scheduled 2 appointments on the same day to try on wedding dresses. My first appointment was at Lana Addison and needless to say, I cancelled my second appointment! The girls at Lana Addison were wonderful. They helped me find my perfect dress in what seemed like just a few minutes. They made the whole process very fun and very easy.

Found my perfect gown!

The team at Lana Addison was amazing! I found my perfect gown and was met with positivity and friendliness. They did not pressure me to buy but helped me reschedule an appointment when I came back for my favorite dress the week later. Alterations were also super easy to schedule and I loved the seamstress. Over all, I had a great experience and it was my favorite salon I went to. Would recommend to all brides!

Great experience

Working with Lana Addison and their sister store, Alexia's, was great--I initially bought my dress in late 2019 for my then April 2021 wedding. We ended up postponing the wedding a full year due to the pandemic and Lana Addison/Alexia's was super flexible in helping to store my dress and give recommendations on alterations timelines. All of the staff was so kind and professional as well. I can't recommend them enough!

Wedding dress shopping

I had the best experience wedding dress shopping at Lana Addison. They went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful and memorable. This was definitely the best experience for wedding dress shopping and made it easy to pick them as the place I found my dress. All of the staff was very accommodating and so helpful! Was even able to customize my dress and make something new! It turned out so beautifully! Highly recommend for wedding dress shopping!

Professional, upbeat and wonderful!

I cannot recommend Lana Addison highly enough! After searching several stores for my dress, I found myself wanting a more personalized experience in a more relaxed atmosphere. Lana Addison met that desire and more. My sales consultant, LC, really listened to what I wanted from a dress, and made me feel so listened to and cared about. The first dress she pulled for me ended up being the one, although every single one was truly gorgeous. We celebrated with champagne, and lots of smiles. If you’re looking for a bridal experience that feels special, personal and fun, this is the place for you!

Great experience!

I had the beat experience at Lana Addison! My consultant, Caroline, was amazing! She was patient with me and my group and picked amazing dresses within budget! She listened to what I was looking for and made the appointment so fun! I actually ended up buying the very first dress I put on, but tried on lots of other dresses and styles at my appointment to make sure it was “the one”. Lana Addison made me feel celebrated and it was the most perfect experience!

Best shopping experience EVER!

From the minute I walked in this morning, Shelby and Alexia made sure that my mom, bridesmaids, and I were all taken care of. Shelby did and AMAZING job picking out dresses- some I had seen and wanted to try on and others that she picked out for me. Both ladies went above and beyond making sure I found exactly what I wanted! I bought the dress on the spot! Thank you Shelby and Alexia for making my dress shopping experience so fun!!!

The most charming and intimate bridal boutique!

I first made my appointment at Lana Addison because they are one of the only bridal salons near me that carried my dream designer, Pronovias! It was my second day of looking for my wedding gown and as soon as I got to the salon and met my consultant, she helped me find the perfect dress within 30 minutes! She listened and truly understood exactly what I was looking for, which I think is such an important quality for a consultant to have. The salon is intimate and charming and made my experience exactly what I had always hoped for!

Lovely Experience

I went to many boutiques (and a few box store bridal shops) in the area before finding The One. My mother lives out of town so I wanted to recon dresses before she visited over the Thanksgiving weekend. My first visit at Lana's was wonderful and was immediately offered a glass of champagne. I didn't find a ton of dresses during that initial appointment, but I found one I liked enough to return to Lana's once my mother arrived. After I made the second appointment, I needed to reschedule, a bit last minute, and they were luckily able to accommodate me with no complaints.

When my mother and I walked in for my second appointment, Megan, the manager and our consultant that day, remembered what I liked from my first appointment and immediately pulled that dress. After talking with her more, she pulled some additional dresses. She was so sweet, helpful, and talked with both me and my mother. In the end, I chose a dress that was not my original pick, but made me feel insanely beautiful and made both me and my mother cry. Megan was so kind, walking me through some imagery of wearing the dress on my wedding day to make sure it was The One (more tears). At this point, our appointment was well over an hour, but she got my mother and I champagne, spent a tedious amount of time doing my measurements and being SUPER transparent about the size she was ordering and the potential cost of alterations, as well as taking our picture with their "say yes to the dress" sign. While some boutiques may have bigger selections, this shop is adorable, welcoming, and the customer service while purchasing was professional and transparent.

My only little complaint was the inability to take photos of the gowns while trying them on, especially when I was by myself during the first appointment. The reasoning was "it is against the designers' policy." However, another boutique, with the same designers, allowed pictures. But once we decided to purchase a gown during that second appointment, we were allowed to take pictures of that specific gown. This wasn't a deal breaker for me, though, as Lana was more than willing and happy to give out the dress information to look it up online (another boutique I went to wouldn't do this).

Please keep in mind this review is only for purchasing experience. Hopefully receiving the dress and going through the alterations is the same. :)

Loved my dress!

I found my dream wedding dress and veil at Lana Addison!! I worked with Morgan and she was fabulous! She helped me find the dress that fit my personality and body type perfectly and made me feel confident during my entire shopping experience. Adorable boutique with a great selection and great team!

I had a wonderful experience at Lana Addison and would recommend it to any bride in the area! It was my second stop trying on dresses, and I'm happy to say my last! The team at Lana Addison--especially my fantastic stylist, Morgan--took what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience and made it fun and comfortable for my mother and me. Morgan greeted us by name when we arrived, asked about my wedding location and preferences, and really listened to me when picking a number of dresses to try on that would fit my location and style. The boutique was so cute and personal, and felt intimate as we had our own private room. I didn't feel rushed or pressured, and was so happy to find the perfect dress while there. I'm looking forward to working with Lana Addison throughout the rest of this process!

Gabriella’s is an adorable and welcoming boutique environment with a gorgeous, curated selection. I would recommend to anyone in NY or even visiting!

Loved My Dress!

My experience dress shopping at Lana Addison was perfect. After a day shopping at another bridal salon that didn't have *the dress* that had been stuck in my head for months, I called Lana Addison very last minute to see if they had it to try on. They were the only salon in the area who had it! They fit me in for an appointment 20 minutes later to try it on, and it was the one for me! The were very communicative when my dress was shipped. A great experience overall.

Beautiful dresses. Wonderful employees.

My mother and I were in town and had my FIRST bridal appointment at a different bridal salon. It was a terrible experience so I quickly looked up bridal salons near me when Lana Addison appeared! I immediately called to see if they had an opening to hopefully turn the terrible day around... Somehow Lana Addison fit me in!!! Needless to say the experience was wonderful and I found the gown after trying on just a few dresses! I’m so blessed they could fit me in and turn a terrible day around! Lana Addison started remodeling their location after I purchased my dress so I had to go to their sister store (Alexia’s) to complete alterations. Every employee I conversed with was wonderful and well trained!

Megan went above and beyond

My experience at Lana Addison was nothing short of incredible. My consultant, Megan was incredibly sweet and put me at ease immediately. She listened intently to everything I said when pulling dresses, and continued to pull more and change things up as I gave feedback throughout the appointment. We were immediately offered drinks when we arrived and then shown upstairs to a large private room that easily accommodated the 6 people I brought with me. Megan laughed along with us the entire time and gave honest, constructive, kind feedback throughout. Truly, she was amazing. The boutique itself is an adorable house that is warm and inviting and full of sparkle, frills, and generally beautiful gowns. I found a dress that I loved and made everyone in my party cry. Megan even stayed late at the salon so that I could come back after my appointment at a different salon to place the order for the dress since I live out of state.

Ultimately I bought my dress at a different boutique, only because it was a dress I had been eyeing for over a year that wasn't stocked at Lana's. To be honest, my experience at the boutique I bought my dress wasn't half as wonderful as my time at Lana's. Had it been available at Lana's I would have purchased there in a heartbeat.

I can't recommend Megan and Lana Addison enough. Go, I promise you won't be disappointed.

P.S. I'm totally going back to Lana's to buy my accessories :)

Excellent!!

I want to say how thankful I am for the wonderful experience that my mom and I had selecting the PERFECT gown. I could not have asked for a better day. It really was meant to be that they were able to fit me in last minute. I was telling my mom that I felt like I was trying dresses on with my best friends or even “sisters”. The entire team was extremely helpful and honestly if the other lady there was not trying on similar gowns, I would not have even known that there was anyone else in the store. They made us feel as though all attention was on us. Everyone was extremely encouraging and full of excellent advice without being pushy at all. That means a lot as the bride’s wedding day is such a big moment and start of a new chapter in our lives. I also thought I would share how important that day was to my mom. When we got in the car after leaving the store I asked her again what she thought and she immediately starting crying happy tears saying how special that day was for her. That made me feel so amazing to hear that as my mom is such an important person in my life and is always doing so much for me. I have already told many of my friends what an unforgettable experience I had and told them I will be posting this everywhere I can. Wonderful service and gorgeous dress!

I worked with Katharine at Lana Addison and had a wonderful experience! I found my dress on the first visit with my mom, future MIL, sister and SIL. I knew what I wanted, and I felt Katharine really listened to me and pulled a number of good dress options, but I knew immediately when I saw "the one"! Katharine helped me to customize it, which was a really cool experience. I wanted lace sleeves added to the dress, and Katharine even sketched them out for the designer! My dress arrived on-time, in pristine condition. The alterations process at Lana Addison went well, too. It was pricey, but I think appropriate for the high level of skill required to do the job right. When I first tried on my dress, it did not fit well at all, but the staff at Lana Addison assured me this was normal. After 4 fittings and many adjustments, it fit me like a glove, and I was thrilled. Lana Addison offers many beautiful dresses in a variety of styles at an attractive price point as compared to many of the higher-end boutiques in Raleigh; however, you never feel that you are getting anything less than top-notch service. I would highly recommend!

Lana Addison was my first and only stop for wedding gown shopping. Each bride is given one-on-one assistance for the entire appointment. I ended up choosing the second dress I tried on. They do in-house alterations with expert seamstresses, as well. My seamstress painstakingly customized part of my gown with the extra lace she cut from the hem. The dress was absolutely stunning and one of a kind!

I had an amazing experience at Lana Addison Bridal! The shop is located in a cute house, and I had a private room for me, my mom, and mother-in-law. It had a boutique-type feel, which I really enjoyed. I appreciated the privacy we had. My consultant was really wonderful as well. She listened to my wants, and wasn't pushy at all. They have an amazing selection of dresses from amazing designers, and the prices were affordable for the quality. I highly recommend shopping for a wedding gown here!

I am less than a month away from my wedding day with a major dress crisis on my hands as things had fallen through with my original wedding gown. Wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL experience working with these women. I felt like a queen the entire time when I was there. Their email communications were professional, kind, and prompt. When I went to try on dresses, we had an initial phone consultation which helped narrow things down. My dress was absolutely gorgeous and the seamstress Maria was amazing - kind, nurturing, and made me feel great about myself. Most importantly, she made my dress fit me PERFECTLY and like a glove. I was blown away by Lana Addison. The space is so beautiful and intimate - I felt so special from the moment we walked in! The consultants spent a few minutes talking to me about my vision for my dress and my budget, and then they absolutely nailed it. The dress I fell in love with was the third one I tried on, and it was so beautiful that I started crying as soon as I put it on. It was like the picture in my head of my wedding dress became a reality. I ended up with a Pronovias dress, and since I bought the sample dress instead of ordering a new one, it fit within my budget. I wish I could wear that dress every day!

The Lana Addison Team was amazing in helping me select my gown. For every gown I tried on, the consultant would listen to what I liked and didn't like, and the next set of gowns would reflect her listening. We ended up being done within an hour due to her attention to detail.

When it came time to alterations, Maria was an angel. She had the gown perfectly altered after one fitting (which is needed when you're an out of town bride.) Maria also took a part of my grandma's wedding dress and turned it into a hair piece for the big day. This is a treasure that my family will hold onto for generations.

I originally bought an Alfred Angelo dress from another bridal boutique. Unfortunately, the dress designer filed for bankruptcy and I never received the dress. Good thing I was ahead with the wedding planning. I still had plenty of time to search for a new dress. I heard about Lana Addison from friends who purchased gowns there. The consultants at Lana Addison are extremely sweet and knowledgeable. They only have a handful of designers, which means that they know every detail about every single dress. I told them my vision and they were very patient in helping me find the perfect dress! I am an indecisive person and they offered truthful opinions. They did not pressure me into anything. The ladies at Lana Addison comforted me and were very accommodating in offering discounts due to the situation with my first dress. My fittings went well and they made good notes each time. The seamstress is so talented and great to work with!

I am so happy I choose to shop at Lana Addison! Two of my friends had recommended it to me and I have to admit I was hesitant. I wanted a nice dress but was on a limited budget. I made an appointment and immediately felt comfortable with the consultants. Everyone was so understanding of my needs. I gave them my price range and tried on three dresses. The third one being the one I fell in love with! When it came to look at the price tag, it was missing. They had to look up the price online and when they came back and told me it was out of my budget I was heartbroken. I left with a mix of emotions only to receive a call from Rachel the very next day. She called saying they could offer me the dress at my budget. I was THRILLED. I knew this dress was for me and I wouldn't be happy with anything else. I contacted Alexia's Bridal in Raleigh to start shopping for a dress, and they were kind enough to first send me to their sister store, Lana Addison, based on my budget. I figured I'd be a hard bride to dress because I'm a bit uncomfortable with my size and am not into fancy dresses. We tried on just about every style in the store before I settled on a dress that I was surprised to find was in my photos of sample dresses I liked -- the Pronovias Semilla gown. I had no issues ordering the dress and everything was in on time as promised. And the most amazing part was that I didn't need ANY alterations besides the bustle and adding bra cups! I think the dress was meant just for me -- they took it out of the bag and zipped it right up. The ladies there also helped me to decide on a veil -- I thought I'd go with a birdcage, but it just didn't look right, but the fingertip veil was perfect, and they gave me $100 credit toward it from purchasing my dress during my first visit. Also appreciated (and unexpected) was the handwritten note left on the dress that I found when putting it on the morning of my wedding. It was a lovely special touch, especially since my mother is no longer with us and I was feeling a bit lonely. Thanks to everyone for helping to make our wedding special!

When I went to Lana Addison, I had a very specific idea in my head of what I wanted my dress to look like. Turns out, what I wanted wasn't the best fit for me. The women at Lana Addison were awesome. They pulled a ton of dresses for me and listened to my feedback for each one without putting any pressure on me until I found the perfect, unique dress I was looking for. My experience with Lana Addison was perfect. My dress came in two months, the alterations were done in a timely manner, and they even stored my dress for 5 months prior to the wedding and I received it the week of in mint condition. They were easy to work with, and I would recommend them to any bride that wants a personal dress shopping experience.

Lana Addison helped me choose the dress I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. They took the time to listen to what I liked and pulled 5 gorgeous gowns for me to try on. As soon as I walked in the room and saw the dresses I was immediately drawn to my dress. I ended up buying the first one I tried on. I was floored with how quickly they helped me find the one!

Mikayla at Lana Addison was amazing. I was not thrilled about wedding dress shopping--nothing I saw online looked like "me." After my appointment at Lana Addison (the cutest little salon, by the way!) I found my dress. I was sure I'd find nothing, but after several hours (even though their appointment slots are only an hour and a half!) I decided on a gorgeous, classic Amy Kuschel gown. This was not AT ALL what I thought I was looking for in a wedding dress, but the second I put it on, I felt like it was made for me.

Lana Addison, sister shop to Alexia's in downtown Raleigh, was wonderful to work with. I ended up having my final fitting and official "pick up" from Alexia's. Brianna, at Alexia's, was so sweet and helpful as if I had worked with her from day one.

For top quality, designer gowns at a great value, I'd recommend Lana Addison without any hesitation (Amy Kushchel gowns are AHHHMAZING!) Despite Alexia's being the more high dollar shop, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them either, it's not stuffy or a place you feel uncomfortable. They were so great to deal with!

I love Lana Addison Bridal!

This was the first wedding dress shop I had been to and it was a great experience. I tried on 5 dresses and the 5th (the wildcard!) was the one! The services provided since day 1 was amazing! The first lady who actually helped me pick out my dress was very patient and kind. She listened to my desires and concerns very well. The 5th dress was a sample dress and the owner happened to be at the boutique that day, she offered a very generous discount! And they even gave me a day to think about it, great customer service! From there on, Jessica helped me with fittings. She's my favorite! Jessica is very sweet and easy to get along with. Since my fiancé and I were on a tight budget, I really wanted a sweet heart neckline but was afraid of the extra cost. Jessica discounted the alterations so that I could afford it! How amazing!

Lana Addison Bridal is an EXCELLENT place to find your perfect dress! The staff is friendly, attentive, and very accommodating to your specials needs. And the dresses are beautiful! One time, there was a mix up with one of my appointments, it was no big deal to be me but the staff offered a 10% discount off the alterations for the inconvenience! Lana Addison goes ABOVE and BEYOND to satisfy their customers, not many businesses do this!

I had a wonderful experience with Lana Addison. I was the fourth person out of my group of friends to find my wedding dress here. The boutique is so cute. You aren't overwhelmed when you walk through the door and all the dresses are very neatly hung on racks. They have fitting rooms that fit you and a few family members. I really enjoyed the relaxing and intimate setting. They were so patient with me as I tried on many dresses and really listened to what I liked and didn't like about each dress and then narrowed it down to the dress I chose. Before my appointment we talked on the phone about my budget, style, and fit so that when I showed up they had a handful of dresses pulled that met my criteria. It saved me from seeing a dress on the rack, falling in love, and then becoming depressed cause it was out of my price range. The great customer service continued throughout my fittings and when I came to pick up my dress. The only frustration I experienced was over the price for alterations. I think many people overlook including alterations in their budget for their dress and I was really shocked after spending $2800 for my dress that the alterations would cost $750. When I asked why the price was so steep I was told that since my dress was lace and had bead work that it would be more time consuming and detailed. The lace part I understood however the "bead work" through me off considering my dress had only small bead accents that were very scarce. I guess I learned my lesson and I shouldn't have assumed a budget for just the dress and not take into account that alterations and the cost to clean it would equal the price of another dress. All things said and done the alterations were done very well and I loved my dress!

My experience with Lana Addison was incomparable to other bridal stores in the area. I worked with Brandi, she was amazing. She listened to me very well and gave me a great variety to try on. The first dress ended up being the dress I said "yes" to! Although I continued to look I compared the dress to all and nothing including the experience at Lana Addison compared. Brandi made a point to come back for my final fitting which was very nice, since she usually works at their sister store, Alexia.

I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment to find the dress of your dreams. The store is cute and clean, they are very friendly, knowledgeable and tentative to the brides needs.

Thanks again! I can't wait for my dress to come in!!! :)

I had a wonderful experience with Lana Addison. The initial visit to try on dresses was the least overwhelming experience I had and I went to five different shops. The dressing rooms are beautiful and simply decorated with enough space to bring a few guests in with you. We were always offered something to drink upon arrival. Lauren worked with me initially and was very kind and helpful, but not intrusive. Once I decided to purchase my gown there, the process was very easy and straight-forward.

Cristina helped us during the several appointments leading up to the wedding and was very kind and helpful. Ruth, their amazing seamstress, was fabulous. She helped me with a very special project to sew some pieces of my grandfather, father and brother's fabric into my gown. It turned out beautifully and her work on my lace gown was perfection.

The entire experience was wonderful and I highly recommend brides to check out Lana Addison when you begin your dress hunt.

Lana Addison Bridal is a very affordable wedding dress boutique tucked into a historic home in downtown Cary, NC that is filled with unique designer gowns...definitely the best wedding dress shop! Not only were Cristina and Lauren professional and accommodating, but they also were also to answer questions I had regarding designers/dresses. I had a wonderful seamstress as well, Mrs. Ruth! I was extremely pleased with my visit to Lana Addison! I had been to another bridal boutique that was not helpful at all. After trying on dresses at 5 other stores in two states I began to think we'd never find a dress that everyone liked - I'm not just the girl that comes in with her mom and 4 bridesmaids, but I'm the girl that NEEDS her mom and 4 bridesmaids for a decision like this because I'm terribly indecisive ("simple, tailored, nothing special is fine for me," said no Mom ever). Regardless, competing philosophies aligned with an amazing suggestion by the owner that - a gorgeous dress in the perfect cut that incorporated the simple, tailored dress that I hoped to find with a little sparkle that my mom and best friends wanted. Of course, we bought it then and there after they took time to discuss the fabric and color options. I'll be glad to drive the 6 hours from where I live (in DC) to Cary for fittings and anything else this shop might offer. An incredibly comfortable (and absolutely cute!) house/shop with interested and thoughtful staff - amazing experience!

Lauren at Lana Addison was fantastic to work with- I had just moved to NC from Florida and began planning my wedding- I didn't know anyone in the area, so I made an appointment and went dress shopping by myself! Lana Addison was my first and last stop- I ended up getting the second dress I tried on- Lauren was very helpful and honest when trying on dresses. I got a great deal on a sample dress, but it needed lots of alterations- the seamstress, Maria was AWESOME! She works magic- and with all the lace detail and everything. The girls at Lana Addison are top-notch! I had shopped and shopped for my perfect dress. We planned a wedding 7 months after our engagement, so that didn't leave me much time to find a dress and order it in time. I knew I needed to be looking at dresses off the rack also! I'm sure I tried on 50 dresses between my first two stops and then came Lana Addison's. I put it on, and that was it! Buying off the rack was perfect! Even though my dress had a few stains and some tears from being tried on, it was there and I didn't have to worry about when it would come in. I also got a discount. Then I could just relax, knowing that I could start alterations anytime I wanted to. Maria is an amazing seamstress! My alterations were PREFECT! I did go in about 4 times in total, but I really liked it that way! "Fixing" one piece of the dress at a time until it fit me perfectly! I can't say enough nice things about the staff at Lana Addison. From the moment I said "YES" to the dress and they offered a champagne toast, to the moment I picked up the dress and they carried it to my car and made sure I called if there were any problems, it was complete service! Please check them out for your dress! You won't be sorry! AND...I worked at another dress store in Raleigh, NC a few years ago that I cannot say enough bad things about, so take my word for it, not every store has such a great reputation. Go where you know you're valued and you matter!

Finding a dress is arguably one of the most important parts of the wedding planning process for brides, so it's very important to find a dress shop with employees that put you at ease and really listen to what you want for your special day. I found this very personal treatment at Lana Addison. I didn't know the proper terms for the dresses that I was looking for, but I had a very clear idea of how I wanted to feel on my wedding day (nothing too revealing, very comfortable and able to move). Cristina pulled the dresses that I thought would look nice and also continued to look for items that she felt might also fit my requirements - she actually ended up pulling out the dress that I ended up purchasing. This was only my second trip dress shopping and I felt so fortunate that I was able to work with such a sweet and knowledgeable salesperson. Lana Addison made my wedding dress experience special from the very beginning. The dress I purchased happened to be on sample sale, and Lana Addison helped me to schedule fittings and achieve the look I was going for with professionalism, and flare. Maria- the expert seamstress was wonderful and gracefully took all my feedback and worked her magic. Lana Addison has a selection of dresses in a large variety of styles but also has the feel of a small town boutique which was wonderful and made my experience feel very personal and special. My dress buying experience was great. Cristina really listened to what I liked/didn't like and pulled beautiful dresses within my budget for me to try on. My second dress was the one! Cristina and the owner of the salon gave us champagne and celebrated with us! After hearing alterations horror stories from many friends, I am so thankful for the positive experience I had. Their seamstress Maria was absolutely incredible! We changed the neck line quite a bit and made other big alterations to the dress that required a lot of work, and the final product was everything I had hoped for.

When it came time to shopping for my wedding dress, I knew the only person I needed by my side was my mom. We needed to stay within budget ($1500 - $2000), but also wanted the personalized service, which we realized would be hard to come by!

Our expectations were beyond what we had wanted at Lana Addison! We made an appointment and as soon as we walked through the adorable purple front door, we were greeted and offered a beverage (a purple champagne drink!) and a cozy seat. They had an excellent selection of wedding dresses that would fit any bride's style (I did not want strapless!!!). My consultant, Cristina, brought out gowns that I had pictures of and gowns that were similar to the style that I liked. The first one I tried on (of about 7-8) I knew was the one (Pronovias Gaudi), but there was no pressure to buy, in fact we were encouraged to be on the look out for trunk shows!

We came in a couple weeks later for the Pronovias Trunk Show and ordered the gown. This was in May '10, and I knew it would take several months to have the gown in my possession, but man was I antsy! The dress arrived in Jan '11 and I had my first fitting. I only had one other fitting after that and the dress was perfect by March for my May wedding!

Because of my amazing experience at Lana Addison, I have been telling brides and soon-to-be brides to remember to go here to shop for a wedding dress. Lana Addison fit my budget and style!

PS - A note about taking pictures in bridal salons: most bridal salons do not want you to take pictures of dresses before you purchase to protect the designer. The reason: they don't want you taking a picture of the dress then going to make it yourself (copying the design) or buying it from someone who copied the design for cheaper. Same idea as illegally downloading music or movies, or taking credit for a photograph or piece of art you did not create. Once you purchase the dress, you are welcome to take pictures of that dress!

The staff and selection at Lana Addison are phenomenal! I had a fun and relaxing consultation with a girl (can't remember her name!) who was extremely knowledgeable about the dresses I tried on. She knew how they would be altered and let me know what was possible and not possible to add/change to a dress.

I fell in love with a beautiful lace Pronovias dress for an amazing price (Pronovias has gorgeous dresses at really affordable prices). I had to get a custom hemline (due to the lace), take out some crinoline, and add straps, but the alterations were not time consuming or ridiculously expensive.

Each appointment was easy and I never felt pressured into a sale. The staff was always attentive (Christine especially) and their blueberry champagne is delicious!

They did not have the exact one (they will charge you a fee to have a dress they don't have shipped to the store for you to try on) so I tried on another one by that designer and fell in love! The dress was gorgeous!! It was also very reasonably priced. The dress looked like it cost 3x what it actually did. So we set up an appointment time for another day so my bridesmaids and mom could come. The shop is a cute and comfortable setting and the champagne they provided helped make it a celebration! The woman who does the alterations does a fantastic job. My only complaint is that my alterations cost 1/2 of what my dress cost, which I think is a bit ridiculous.

I LOVED my dress, thanks to Lana Addison!!! They have such a great selection. It's a smaller boutique shop but they have such a good variety. I had looked at so many places and different states and couldn't find the right dress. I was so happy I found Lana Addison as my dress was beyond perfect! The service was excellent both by the staff and the seamstress. They had good pricing and even better mine was on sample sale! I thought the alterations were a but pricey and higher than I expected but they did a fantastic job. In particular the bustle -- it was beautiful! Thanks for the perfect dress!

Beautiful dress within my budget

Had a great experience finding my wedding dress here. Morgan met with me one-on-one and pulled some dresses in my budget. She was able to find me a gorgeous Pronovias sample dress that I tried on first. I didn't really need to try on any others - it met all my criteria and was beautiful. Our wedding may be over, but I would go back and live in my wedding dress if I could! Lana Addison Bridal was the only boutique I visited, and after trying on a handful of dress I chose one, but wanted to make some custom alterations. They girls told me up front that their alterations tend to run higher than some of the bigger dress stores, and that was something I understood and excepted. I had a vision in mind for my dress, and with the help of Maria and the girls at Lana Addison, my vision was brought to life. It was no small task because we essentially designed an entirely new dress. It was absolutely perfect, and I feel like I have my very own custom dress!

The Lana Addison staff was extremely helpful and patient. They helped me pick the perfect dress and fit me in for a last minute appointment when my Mom traveled from Dallas TX to see my Dress! Their gown selection is beautiful and I cannot say nicer things about their staff. They listened to my wants and needs and worked with me to help me get the perfect dress (Amy Kuschell "Lennon"). At the recommendation of Lana Addison, I did go up two sizes and when the dress came in, it was huge on me, but I would rather it be too big than to small.

The only reason I didn't give Lana Addison 5 Stars is because of their seemstress. She did not speak to me during the fitting and then the estimated cost to get my dress tailored was over a 1/3 of the cost of the dress so I decided not to get my dress tailored at Lana Addison. I felt more comfortable somewhere else closer to my house and the cost to tailor my dress was significantly lower at the local seamstress. I did look around for tailors prior to making that decision and Lana Addison did provide recommendations for other tailors.

My dress turned out perfectly and I appreciate their help finding the perfect dress. I would definitely recommend that other Brides shop there!

The shop was super cute and they have a great variety of BEAUTIFUL gowns. They didn't make me feel guilty or bad that I had a more conservative budget for my dress. All the girls were so nice and wonderful to work with. I had so much fun trying dresses on there. I would HIGHLY recommend buying your dress from them.

However, DO NOT HAVE THEM ALTER YOUR DRESS!!!! They said my dress would cost over $850 for alterations and I was just getting it taken in and hemmed. I had no beading and it was a very simple empire waist. The dress needed to be taken in a lot but when I ordered the dress they said they don't charge extra if it needs to be taken in more due to wt loss. Which is why I ordered a size up which they suggested. Even though I knew I would be losing weight (which I did). If you have the budget to spend whatever on alterations then go for it. Maria is fantastic (know her from elsewhere) and your dress will be perfect. However, alterations DO NOT cost $850 for simple stuff. Especially when I bought the dress they quoted $400-500

Lana Addison is the perfect place to find a gown if you are looking for designer gowns in a more affordable price range. Lana Addison delivers amazing quality of service and a large selection of beautiful designer gowns at a more reasonable price than other upscale stores.
When I arrived at Lana Addison I was greeted immediately and my consultant, Lauren, came over and asked me what I was looking for in a dress as well as my price point. She looked at the pictures I had brought and she knew exactly what dresses to pick for me to try on, every dress she picked was beautiful and fit my style. I ended up with a beautiful Pronovias dress, veil, belt, and Martina Liana lace jacket. The jacket was just what I was looking for and added that extra classic beauty to every dress, with a high neckline and keyhole back and something to cover my shoulders.
My budget was $2500, Lauren did stick to budget well with the dresses, but I ended up going over when I added the accessories, I had a little wiggle room in my budget so it was okay for me but if you have a firm budget make sure you say you want to stay under budget with all accessories. With all 4 items and tax I spent $3165.
When it came to fittings Ruth, my seamstress, was absolutely wonderful, she had the bodice on my dress fitting perfectly after one fitting. The length of the dress took a few more fittings due to the fact that it has 12 layers, but by the time everything was done my dress fit and looked perfect. One thing to be warned about is that the alterations are expensive; I ended up spending $900 on alterations. So if you are on a tight budget know alterations will probably run an extra $500-$1000.
Lana Addison has wonderful service, wonderful staff, and tons of beautiful dresses (the whole house is filled with great dresses!). I would definitely tell anyone I know getting married to go see them first, they were definitely my favorite bridal shop that I went to.

I enjoyed every bit of my dress shopping & buying experience with Lana Addison.

When I first called to make my appointment, I got "the feeling" that I would find my dress there. The person I spoke with was so nice and asked several questions about budget and style so they could pull a few dresses for me before the appointment, which I thought was great!

The store is so adorable, it's in a little converted house in downtown Cary. It's clean and the dresses are displayed nicely, without being overwhelming. The dressing rooms are a good size too with plenty of natural light and large mirrors.

I tried on a few dresses before finding one I liked - the woman helping me saw my face light up and immediately went to get sashes that would help add the little bit of sparkle I was looking for. She was so patient while I tried all the different sashes on, and helped me pick the perfect one. Even after I had decided that was probably THE DRESS, she encouraged me to try on another I thought I might like, saying, "This will help you decide for sure." She was RIGHT! I put that last dress on and knew I had to have the other one!

At that point she got my mom and me a glass of champagne to toast and said it was OK then to take pictures (she had explained nicely earlier that no photos are allowed until you've made your selection, which I understood).

I was having a short engagement (4 months) so they even called the dress designer to confirm they could have the dress in time before I paid for it!

The alterations are expensive (mine were about half the cost of my fairly inexpensive dress) but they explained that up front so I knew what we were agreeing to. I felt I was getting such a great price on my gown and great service that the value was there on the alterations.

I had three fittings and each time the dress looked better and better. It fit me like a glove on my wedding day!

I loved my experience at Lana Addison! I worked with Kyle; she was so sweet and professional! This was only my 2nd time trying on dresses. Kyle spent a great amount of time listening to me and making sure she understood what I wanted. She pulled several dresses until we found the one I loved! She was patient with me and joined in our excitement when I found THE dress. Great experience! I love my dress! Also, it came in just 2 months!

Lana Addison is a cute bridal boutique tucked in downtown Cary. They have a wide variety of dresses that differ from other locations at Raleigh at a more reasonable price then their sister store in downtown Raleigh. Their hours are a bit difficult to navigate for fittings if you work a full time job, which is a downside. I also felt the alterations were extremely pricey, and no option was given to use our own tailor. My bustle repeatedly fell during the reception, and it took approximately 6 fittings to get everything right. My dress was beautiful and the staff is very professional and friendly.

Finding my dress at Lana Addison was an amazing experience! I had previously tried David's Bridal because I thought it was all that I could afford and left very upset and disheartened. After that, I found Lana Addison. Their website says their dresses start at $1500 and I decided that, although a bit above budget, it may be worth the money for a better experience. Lauren at Lana Addison was amazing. She listened to what I wanted and stayed within my budget. We ended up finding a beautiful Nicole Miller sample dress for 50% off! They even threw in a free veil! It was one of my favorite wedding experiences and I will recommend Lana Addison to all of my friends!

This was the first (out of two) places that I went to look for my wedding dress. I knew what styles I didn't want and I think that helped me to decide quickly (fourth dress) on what I wanted. After trying on what became my wedding dress, I rushed to there sister site downtown Raleigh just to make sure I wasn't picking without looking at other options. By the end of the day I gave them a call and placed my order!

The staff I worked with was always professional. Always offered my mom and I something to drink and just made sure we were okay and that our questions were answered. I also got my dress tailored there and the tailor was AWESOME...such a sweet lady and knew her job.

The only thing to be cautious of is the parking (there is not a lot of it) which is why they only go by appointments. And because of this it was sometimes difficult to select an appointment time that worked for both of us. This was frustrating at first but when I understood why and when I realized I would go in and get undivided attention I appreciated it in the end. I also didn't like that you couldn't pick up your dress on Saturday but in the end I understood why and I just went a few days before the wedding (when I already scheduled time off) to pick up my dress, veil and belt.

I'm in the process of selling my Amy Kuschel dress and one of their staff provided three places for me to go to do so. I thought that was extremely nice and helpful noting that they didn't have to help me at this point following my wedding.

Overall, I enjoyed the entire process of getting my wedding attire...except for actually paying for it lol :)

Love this bridal boutique! You get the true bridal experience, but in a more quaint, shabby chic, and calm setting. Great for a bride who wants to feel special, doted on, and not be overwhelmed by a 'bridal warehouse'. They have a sister store in Raleigh (that is a bit higher end) and can collaborate with them if you aren't seeing what you're looking for at their Cary store. They also do in-house alterations and their seamstress is amazing!

I am so glad I found Lana Addison! They created a very relaxing and stress free environment for choosing a wedding dress. I did not feel pressured at all, which really helped me feel comfortable making my decision. The prices were fair, the customer service was great, and the overall experience was wonderful. The seamstress was amazing too! It wasn’t difficult to schedule fittings, but I did have to wait for some time because the previous appointment was running over. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning.

I ended up purchasing two dresses from Lana Addison. I bought the dress I wore on my wedding aalmost 1 year prior to the actual event due to a military deployment. I was in a crunch and found the perfect dress on the weekend my mom was in town. They were able to make an incredible deal involving alterations that was just too good to pass up. I ordered the dress and upon its arrival they held it for me for over 5 months before I returned from the deployment. The seamstress is amazing and worked to create a great fit with details such as creating a new neckline.

I ended up also purchasing a second dress that was previously a sample dressed and marked down quite a bit. My wedding dress was a pretty fun and extravagent dress but I normally wear slinkier satin dresses for formal events rather than a larger ball gown type dress and was concerned I would be uncomfortable the whole evening. I purchased the sample dress about 4 weeks prior to the event and they were able to get it fitted just in time.

The staff was great throughout the entire experience and their seamstress is a a sweet highly skilled woman.

Lana Addison was the only place I looked for wedding dresses. A friend had used them previously and recommended them. I just fell in love with the 3rd dress I tried on. All the girls were super friendly and tried to be helpful. My only complaint is the alteration service. It is extremely expensive and while the seamstress was very friendly and I liked her, I was not 100% pleased with the work done, especially for the price. The dress had several small picks and you could see the bustle stitches from the outside of the dress.

Lana Addison has a beautiful collection of dresses and Christina was very nice to work with. Prices start around $1600 and up to $4000. My dress was $2000 for a Coco Anais 2010 collection which I think was a fair price. Expect 4-6 months for deliver of the dress. Their alterations are over priced and they only have times available durng weekdays. I would suggest shopping it, but Lana Addison did a good job otherwise.

I had several close friends who had purchased dresses at Lana Addison/Alexia Bridal and knew it was one place I wanted to visit. I was paying for my wedding dress myself so budget was important to me. My first visit with Christina was fun as I tried on many dresses. I did find one that I liked a lot but wasn't quite ready to commit. I came back about 2 weeks later after visiting a second boutique in Raleigh that just couldn't compare to the Martina Liana Style 424: Vintage lace wedding dress features a detachable lace illusion jacket. Silk under-dress is a strapless trumpet silhouette.

It was beautiful and the price wasn't in my original range but wasn't a deal breaker. After ordering, my dress came in earlier than expected and the alterations went smoothly.

One of my bridesmaid has now found her dress at Lana and I have referred it to several other friends. Christina did a great job and was very professional. I was always taken back on time and in and out for alterations pretty quickly. I would recommend Lana Addison to any bride!

I found the wedding dress that I wanted at 2 different shops for the same price, but I decided to go with Lana Addison because they were closer, and as a full time veterinary student, I knew that my time would be limited and wanted the convenience. I have to really thank Rachel for being so understanding and flexible with me. Initially, my dress came in weeks after it was supposed to have arrived, and when it did arrive, time was short and my rotations were not very flexible. I called and before getting a chance to talk to Rachel, was not getting much help in the way of rescheduling or understanding the nature of my schedule. I eventually got to talk to Rachel and explained my situation, and from that moment on, she was instrumental in making sure that I got my fittings, regardless of how hectic my schedule was. Wedding planning in itself is stressful, and doing so while in vet school only added to that. I'm so thankful that Rachel was there at Lana Addison to step in, relieve some of that stress, and make sure that I was 100% satisfied with my dress before my wedding day (regardless of how many fittings and seamstresses it required). Both my sister and myself got our wedding dresses from Lana Addison. After my sister's wedding we recommended friends and family to Lana Addison so it was a no brainer that I would go there. I immediately fell in love with a dress picked out by a very sweet worker, and we knew it was the one. The boutique is in an adorable renovated old home and the dresses are great (great value too!). The only negative to my experience was when I got my alterations done it became EXTREMELY stressful! At one appointment, no alterations had been done, and it was still pinned from the previous fitting. Then, once it did get altered the bottom of the dress did not look right at all. HOWEVER, the store owners were AMAZING and worked rapidly to make the corrections. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn't have been more pleased with the customer service despite the "hiccup" in the alteration process.

I loved my dress from Lana Addison! I bought a sample dress off of the rack and worked with a seamstress to make my dress one-of-a-kind! I ultimately chose Lana Addison because they had an in-house seamstress and with my idea for a dress, I knew I needed a talented and trusted seamstress. And I was not let down! My seamstress was AMAZING! She did a wonderful job on my dress and transformed my dress from a simple sample to a gorgeous lace gown. The staff at Lana Addison was hit or miss. Some of the ladies were great to work with and very friendly. Some acted like you were a small burden. It just depended on when you went in I suppose. Overall, I loved my experience and they were very helpful with pricing and helping us to choose to best design and fabric possible.

Dress was beautiful

The dress was beautiful and wonderful quality but was disappointed with the quality of alterations. The alteration quality was not up to the quality of the dress. The ribbons used for the bustle were starting to shred the time the ceremony was over (dress had only been worn maybe an hour and a half by then) and making it very difficult to get the dress bustled. The numbers written on the ribbons were on the end that unraveled first so unreadable after they started shredding. The ribbons will have to be replaced before the dress could be used again. For the extremely high alteration prices I expected better quality to go with the beautiful high quality dress.

I have mixed feelings about Lana Addison. First, they have a beautiful selection of designer gowns. My shopping experience was great. It was calm and relaxed and I felt no pressure from the sales associates to purchase. I ended up buying my gown on my first appointment. The sales associates were always very nice and professional. My disappointment was with the store as a whole. I ordered my dress in September and was told that it would be in in January. However, it did not arrive until Mid-March. Once the gown did arrive, I had to wait until the end of March to schedule my first fitting- (6 weeks away from my wedding). Apparently, they only schedule fittings on Thursday's and Friday's. As a result I had to cancel my bridal portraits. I was asked to reschedule my fittings on two occasions because they were double booked. I finally received my gown two days before my wedding. I expected better service from a boutique type salon.

A beautiful selection of dresses in a medium price range! The boutique is quaint and charming especially while sipping their champagne! I purchased a Martina Liana gown and Paris by Debra Moreland veil (after I purchased a Jennifer Leigh veil that I ended up not liking in person). While the staff was sweet, they were young and I noticed quite a bit of turnaround. I recommend visiting their sister store in Raleigh. Alexia's is classy and sophisticated from start to finish but in a higher price range.
