    Remarkable

    StacyAnn is an incredibly skilled wedding planner and coordinator; she is highly organized, proactive, easy to work with, and helpful. Our wedding went flawlessly thanks to her. StacyAnn is also the most caring and warm person. StacyAnn truly made us feel like family, and I could tell how important it was for her both professionally and personally that our wedding be the happiest day of our lives. She made us feel like queens on our wedding day. She took care of every last detail. We knew we were in good hands and were able to just be in the moment and enjoy the day. She worked with us extensively leading up to the wedding, giving us knowledgeable advice. She took charge by contacting all the vendors ahead of the wedding, and created a detailed schedule. She loaned us helpful wedding supplies that made our wedding beautiful. The whole event went off without a hitch. It felt as if there was a whole team of talented people running the show but it was just StacyAnn being incredible.

    Best decision

    We contacted Stacy six months prior to our wedding. She was very responsive. She set up a free consultation. I gave her my vision and she executed it! she was very detail very transparent, she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. One of the big thing that I like about her is that I could contact her any time and she was right there to relieve my stress. Words cannot express how thankful I am to connect with Stacy. Thank you a million times you’re the best!!!

    Exceptional professionalism! Top-shelf! The very best!

    Lamey's Event & Staffing represents the highest standards of excellence, professionalism, polish and perfection! I will certainly call upon them again and again for all of our upcoming parties and events, and recommend them highly to our friends! Stacy-Ann and Garfield arrived early, were dressed professionally and came ready to get to work to make sure our 60th birthday celebration (with 50 guests) went seamlessly! They were meticulous and made sure every detail of our event ran smoothly -- even making excellent suggestions and recommendations to ensure our evening went flawlessly! Their warmth and attentiveness made our guests feel special and cared for. They greeted our guests, performed coat-check, served beverages, attended to our guests, kept our buffet looking fresh at all times, among other things! They certainly made sure our event was a magical evening, and it was!! I was able to relax and enjoy the evening stress-free, knowing that our event was in such capable, conscientious and highly-competent hands! I highly recommend Lamey's Event and Staffing! They are the VERY BEST!!

    This experience was amazing and so classy ☺☺☺☺

    StacyAnn was absolutely AMAZING. I got in touch with her quite a few months before our wedding. Whenever I had a logistics question during the final months of planning, she was quick to respond and always had the answer.

    When it got to the actual month and weeks before the wedding, she was beyond amazing. The week of the wedding, she met with my mom, fiancé, and me to go over final details and to finalize an incredibly detailed day-of schedule. She contacted all of the vendors to make sure that everyone was on the same page and that they knew the schedule. I didn't realize how much work that would be until I saw everything that she was doing. She was also a wonderful presence at the rehearsal, keeping us all on track and making sure that the wedding party knew what they were doing the next day.

    StacyAnn goes above and beyond. It was really helpful to know that I had someone who was going to make sure that everything went the way we wanted it to. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone we know. Hiring her was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. She let me enjoy the final days of preparation and enjoy being a bride, instead of going crazy with all of the details. Words can't express how thankful we are to have you.

    One of the best decision we made for our event

    Lamey's Event & Staffing proved to be one of the single best decisions we made when we decided to host a baby naming ceremony & reception to welcome our daughter. We held this event two weeks after the arrival of our new baby and honestly, we don't see how we could have hosted a successful event without Lamey onboard. StacyAnn and her crew came in got an overview of our vision for the day and executed the event coordination and setup perfectly.

    Unbelievable wonderful, everygirls dream into a reality on that special day

    Ok, where can I start! Words cannot express my gratitude for Lamey’s Event & Staffing. My wedding was something out of a magazine! It was the PERFECT!!! and I owe it all to them. I came to them with a simple idea and they worked their magic and brought it to life. Stacyann was very attentive and professional, she responds to email and calls at all times, sometimes I wonder if she takes a break. If you think you don’t need a wedding planner, think again and if you think you can go with just anyone THINK AGAIN! My husband and I recommend Lamey’s Event & Staffing 110%

    Best decision I’ve made

    I hired Lamey’s for event setup, serving staff, decorations, food pick-up, and day-of wedding coordination. It was definitely a one-stop shop, which made things very easy and convenient for me. StacyAnn’s goal is to ensure you are a happy customer. She was readily available, and very prompt in responding to texts, emails, and voicemails. There were a couple of hick-ups with regard to decorations, and missed communication. This may have been due to different tastes and style, and just a lot going on. However, on my wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better. The ceremony was on time and well executed. For our reception, the venue was beautifully decorated, the serving staff was exceptional, and everything was done in a timely manner. All-in-all I was a very happy bride.

    Well, the only wedding day I had but thanks to Stacy-Ann of Lamey’s Events, it was perfect from start to finish. She was friendly and easy to reach and I felt I could trust her from our initial consultations. She has a very fun vibe and it felt as if I was planning the wedding with a girlfriend. She took my requests seriously but also had tasteful ideas and suggestions. Her handling of the various vendors was masterful and professional and her decoration of the wedding venue was so beautiful. She was also helpful dealing with some “challenging” family members and keeping the wedding day events on time and on point. Their staff looked sharp and was very professional. I am so happy I got my fairytale wedding day.

    My Fairy Godmother gone bad

    I chose Lamey’s Events, and StaceyAnn specifically, to be my wedding coordinator because she was personable and eager to support me. Immediately after I reached out to her, via email, StaceyAnn scheduled a phone conversation. During each conversation, she consistently stated that that her goal was to take away my worries and be my “fairy godmother.” I believe that she has a desire to be an amazing wedding coordinator and she wants to support brides and make events great, but what I also know is that she is not currently equipped with this skillset or manpower to do this.

    With less than a week to my wedding day, things began to truly crumble. Vendors suggested that the timeline that she developed was inefficient and didn’t include pertinent information and/or timeframes. The wedding venue coordinator also immediately began raising concerns about appropriate communication.

    She then became sick with covid, 5 days before my wedding. I recognize that this was an unexpected occurrence, but she contacted me and told me that she was sick, couldn’t do my event, and would reimburse me the money that had been paid. She provided me no options, she made only one effort to contact someone who could step in for her, and literally left me with no back-up plan.

    I do hope Stacey Ann is able to use this mishap as an opportunity to explore ways to not just give lip-service to her brides, but to actually support each bride by perfecting her craft, seeking innovative and creative ideas to best support her clients, and to, perhaps, become a part of a network of coordinators that she can use for guidance and to support her and her business. I truly hope she is able to make some changes, to better ensure that no other bride has to experience the disappointment and stress that I had to endure 5 days before my wedding day.

    As a wedding planner, I am keenly aware of the trust and confidence my clients put in me to plan, support and execute the long held dreams for their wedding. It is an honor to help realize such dreams and a responsibility I take seriously. I seek to not only provide standard support but to also exceed their expectation and become that "fairy Godmother" who by definition brings unexpected good fortune to the bride and her entire wedding party.

    However, it was with great sadness, fear and pain that I found myself unable to provide the services that I agreed to per my contract and the internal joy I typically experienced when I exceeded a bride's expectation for her special day--- her wedding day. I remember that moment when I had to admit to myself that I could not fulfil my obligation. You see, I too had succumb to COVID. It totally blind sided me. I never felt so ill. I could not take care of myself or my kids but was struggling to try to fulfill the obligation I had to make this bride's day come off without a hitch. Well, unfortunately the illness got the best of me and blunted my ability to provide a good substitute and/or alternative option. For this I am truly l sorry. I was also a bride and fully understand how my client felt. Unfortunately, COVID and my body's response to it caused other issues. So again, as the designated "fairy godmother" to the brides I serve and will continue to serve, just know that good always triumphs.

    To my client who I hurt by not being able to fulfil her dreams for her special day I am so sorry. I understand that you are bitter now but hope that in time you will be able to forgive and understand my dilemma. And yes, experiences come so that we can learn and grow and I will continue to do so in my business and personal life. So thanks for hearing me. Thanks for choosing me. And again I apologize and wish you nothing but the best in your marriage and future!! Shine on!
