Hi Moya and team,
Thank you for making our Chinese American fusion wedding dream come true! Upon arriving at the Springfield Manor, everyone in the wedding party was stunned by your effortless floral setup in burgundy, blush and cream. We were so amazed by the bride and bridesmaids bouquets especially when they went so well with the burgundy bridesmaids dresses and both the ivory and red wedding dresses! We were so blessed to have you as our local wedding florist who worked within our budget but beyond our expectations!
Your table layouts spoke themselves when the diverse fall glasses complemented the seasonal flowers. No such magic can be done without your long lasting passion for wedding floral design, your artistic eyes and hands, your understanding of both eastern and western culture and your sincere wishes to us newly-weds! We don’t have to do too much on flower disassembly as most of the table flowers were claimed and taken away together with the vases by our guests, even the ones who were flying out of town.

Two years after Moya delivered a dream wedding for our daughter at the Meridian House in DC, I am just beginning to write a review. Not that i was displeased but I was so fraid of not doing him justice as a genius designer, resourceful, innovative, exquisitely tasteful , yet so humble, patient, and eager to please. Floral design is the greatest element of a romantic wedding. As an enthusiast of flower arrangements, I was so particularly detailed and very challenging to work with. I had talked to two other reputable floral designers in DC but Moya was the one that I found three weeks prior to the wedding date. I feel indebted to Moya for life because he gave our family and the guests a dream wedding beyond our expectations. Moya and his team are simply amazing and I cannot say enough of their artistic work and integrity. Thank you Moya and everyone involved in our wedding project for designing such a perfect wedding that we still revisit in our heart❤️ every day! Moya is my top choice from the beginning. I have been to a friend’s wedding where his team did the flowers and I was speechless. I asked for his info after months of searching for a good florist. He’s professional from the very first email to the last proposal. Since flowers are our focal point at our wedding, he made sure his proposal is fixed in a way that it’s closer to my wedding flower vision. He really tries his best to complete my requests such as changing his final proposal multiple times, searching for the right candle color, adding extra peonies because I love them, giving extra loose flowers so I can make mg bouquet ring later, etc. He’s so considerate, he even asked for my height so he can make the correct bouquet size for me. Everything turned out BEAUTIFULLY. All of the guests love the flowers so much I gave a bunch of centerpieces out at the end of the day. Moya is truly an artist, a master of his class. Thank you Moya and his team for making our day extra special! -

We hired Lal Moya to do the florals for our daughter’s wedding. We needed florals for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and full sit-down dinner reception, and we needed it in 4 weeks, AND our daughter was set on a jewel-toned color palette…in spring… Lal Moya came through! The team created gorgeous arrangements that were exactly what the bride wanted. They adjusted the number of arrangements, boutonnièrs, etc as our needs evolved. Their professionalism through the entire process was stellar. The price was quite good. I highly recommend choosing them for your florals. You won’t be disappointed! -

Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a wedding florist, I highly recommend Moya. He delivered beyond expectations for my wedding on 9/9/23.
Moya understood my vision right away. He was able to work within my budget to give me the wedding flowers I always envisioned.
He attended my wedding walkthrough three months before my wedding and was very helpful at explaining how he would arrange flowers at the various ceremony sites as well as the reception.
My ceremony flowers were unbelievable.
Moya stuck each individual rose into the ground lining the aisle and the arbor was just as beautiful. I had compliments from everyone including our wedding vendors and the owner of the venue. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected rain storm right before my ceremony. I could see Moya from the bridal suite, he stayed out in the rain and adjusted the flowers after each wind gust. My dad even made a comment about how hard he was working to keep everything perfect.
I was heartbroken when I had to move my ceremony inside, but Moya was able to decorate the indoor ceremony space quickly and beautifully. His experience, creative ability, and attention to detail make him an excellent florist.

Amazing & artistic florist!!!
Moya is a true artist!! I came to him with a few inspiration photos and very little certainty about what I wanted. He asked all the right questions and put together a standout proposal that checked all my boxes! On the wedding day, Moya and his team were prompt and created beautiful displays that our guests raved about! I loved my bouquet so much I took it with me on my minimoon. He also was very flexible and worked with us to fit beautiful flowers into our somewhat tight budget. Beautiful flowers and wonderful execution!
Lal Moya was wonderful from beginning to end! Very responsive and was patient when I explained my specific vision for my bridesmaid’s flowers and they absolutely delivered! Lal Moya did a wonderful job with our flowers. He was able to stay on budget, make beautiful flower arrangements, and listened to all my needs! My husband and I started our wedding planning process in 2019. We were one of the couples who did a micro wedding in 2020 (at a different location) and rescheduled our big party twice - once in 2021 and finally had the chance to have our party in 2022. Lal Moya did my bouquet & boutonniere for my 2020 wedding and all my flowers for our 2022 wedding. Once we got our final guest count, he asked if we could make bigger arrangements with less tables and it looked beautiful! Everyone loved our flowers and we can’t recommend him enough! I plan on keeping my bridal bouquet so I have it hung in our dining room forever! -

The guys at Lal Moya are miracle workers. They had never worked at our particular venue before, but their arrangements fit the space so perfectly that you’d never know it. They showed up early and thoroughly improved every room they decorated. I didn't realize until the absolute last minute (2 months before!) that I needed a florist and some lighting for my New Years Eve wedding. Lucky for me, I reached out to Moya and he was available! Our venue had a brick wall that is usually covered in ivy, however the ivy dies off in the winter so we desperately needed some sort of greenery to dress up the space, as well as some soft lighting to help with our evening ceremony. I had no idea what I wanted or needed, aside from a general "vibe", but I was able to explain this to Moya - who immediately understood and executed better than I could have ever dreamed. Our wedding looked absolutely incredible, and Moya was an absolute joy to work with. I hope everyone is as lucky as we were and gets a chance to work with him! -

Moya turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! I chose a unique color scheme and he took my ideas and turned them into the most beautiful floral arrangements. I was so delighted when I saw my bouquet in the morning and when I walked into my reception hall, the decorations absolutely took my breath away!! He was extremely responsive and flexible throughout the whole process and even brought additional decorations on the day of the wedding that I hadn’t requested. Hiring Moya was one of the best decisions I made for my event. Moya did the flowers for my wedding and he was an absolutely pleasure to work with. He was very professional, friendly, flexible, and responsive throughout the entire experience. I told him what I like and he made suggestions that ended up matching my vision perfectly. I trusted his expertise and he executed beautifully. My bouquet and centerpieces were gorgeous. He even honored my request to add bling to my bouquet! I received so many compliments. Absolutely amazing!
Two words.......HIRE HIM!! On my lists on "musts" for my wedding, flowers was one of my top priorities(and one the the last priorities for my husband) . I found Moya on here in the beginning of my planning. I then followed him on Fb to get a feel for his work, and quickly realized he was the florist I needed for my wedding. Moya was so sweet and flexible throughout my planning process. After showing him my inspo pictures I only told him 2 things. No sunflowers, and surprise me. After a visit to our venue Moya sent me an email basically saying to trust him and that some things would be tweaked. If this happens to you, DO IT. Moya and his team blew my husband, myself, my guests, and even my planner away. He accommodated any extras I asked for no problem, and even threw in some extras. And always replied within the day to any email I sent. You absolutely get what you pay for with Moya and MORE!! -

The best florists ever!
Moya is a true visionary and an artist. He truly takes the time to understand your vision and will make sure it's executed to perfection. Going into our wedding planning, we had a very particular concept of what we were looking for and Moya delivered it above and beyond. While our venue was naturally beautiful, Moya's arrangements elevated the entire venue. He added big and little details for the areas of the cocktails and reception. Compliments are still flowing in of the sweetheart table he created. Shall I also say, I was balling my eyes out when I saw his creation on my big day because it was that beautiful. His artistry is an a class if its own. I highly recommend Moya and I can't thank him and his team enough for making our day perfect. -

Amazing Wedding Flowers from Moya
Moya is not just a florist. He is an artist who knows what he is doing and he pays attention to all the details. He did a wonderful job for my wedding back in November. Moya is so humble and his prices are so reasonable compared to all the other florists in the area. He did my flowers for both the Ceremony at Church and the Hotel Reception as well. The bridal bouquet was stunning and the centerpieces and all the other flower arrangements were so beautiful. Moya is so friendly and whenever I had a question for him, I would text him, and he responses right away. I would definitely recommend LAL MOYA flowers for anyone who is looking for a florist! This guy is amazing! -

He met with us to find out our vision and from the little we gave him to go off of he created our dream wedding. When you hire a vendor for your wedding you do so putting so much trust in their vision. We hired Moya and his team to do the flowers at our wedding when the original plans of going to Mexico was not going to happen so with four months to plan we hired Moya to provide flowers for our backyard wedding. He came to visit my parents house to get a feel of what flowers we needed for decor and had such great ideas. Flowers for our wedding was extremely important to me and we instantly hit it off. I completely trusted his vision and he completely understood what mine was. He far exceeded my wildest dreams with the flowers. You have to hire Moya and his team. They arrived early for set up and even came back at the end of the ceremony for take down. You will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. -

The best vendor
I hired LAL MOYA WEDDINGS&EVENTS just 4 days before my wedding. My previous florist cancelled on me very last minute and i reached out to Moya right away. He was extremely nice and responsive. I was a bit nervous but when i saw my flowers on my wedding day, i was blown away by his work. He's not just a florist but super creative and talented. He knew exactly how i wanted and every single details was phenomenal. I still can't beleived his company can do the whole wedding flowers in just 4 days before. Could not have been a better experience
Not only was Lal Moya affordable and so flexible, but our flowers turned out perfect! We had originally scheduled our wedding for May 9th, 2020 at a venue but due to COVID, we decided to push it out a week and get married at home. With all the uncertainly we had going on with our personal lives at the time, Moya was able to get our flowers ready with little notice and they were GORGEOUS! Of all the vendors I worked with to plan my wedding and then with required cancellations, he was the most gracious and professional. -

Lal was hired about a month before our wedding. After going through various decorators that had various issues with product pricing, correct contact info, reliability, billing, and product availability, Lal came through at the last minute. I have to say, I was blown away. He had everything and more. From the arch, to the center pieces to everything in between. His kind demeanor, his quick email response, his availability, and following through with everything made our day even more special. Lal Moya is an absolute treasure. When we were planning, I'd just go crazy and email him like 4 times and he was soooo patient with me. He had great ideas and suggestions. Moya did a phenomenal job with our flowers. Throughout the process he was very responsive, helpful, and flexible. About three months before the wedding, I changed the colors that I wanted him to use, he was very accommodating helping me to figure out which colors would work well and providing me multiple examples so that I knew exactly what he was thinking. On the day of the wedding, the flowers looked gorgeous. He had crafted some arrangements that were above and beyond anything we had discussed. Given his flexibility and quality, you would expect that he would be charging much more, but his rates are extremely affordable. Moya is also just an extremely kind and hard working person and you can tell that he finds a ton of joy in designing and creating floral arrangements. -

Stunning Arrangements!!
We were so happy Moya was a part of our wedding! He was kind, thorough and thoughtful. His arrangements were stunning!! At our first meeting, I had a very vague idea of what I wanted. Moya took that and put together the most perfect arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres. Moya was also very flexible. I had a few last minute requests (up to the day of our wedding) and he was quick to oblige without hesitation. He was so personable and easy to work with. He even sent us a Holiday card! I HIGHLY recommend hiring him :) -

Moya was an awesome florist to work with for our wedding! We planned our wedding in just about 2 months and he accommodated an in person meeting and countless changes in our floral desires. He even reassured me a week before ordering our flowers when I was worried our styles would clash. His prices were great as well. Our guests raved about our flowers and he even donated the left overs at the end of our wedding to a retirement home. Would 1000% recommend Moya to anyone! -

We spoke with multiple florist in preparation for our wedding and Lal Moya was by far the best florist we interviewed! He was able to bring to life just what my fiancée and I envisioned plus more. His creativity in bringing together a beautiful selection of arrangements alone was enough to win us over. But what sold us was his passion. Moya is an absolute delight to work with. He is professional, incredibly talented and you will not find better prices anywhere, guaranteed. I love supporting local businesses and he is seriously awesome. His talent is remarkable. He responded very quickly to my initial inquiries and had ideas and answers for anything I presented. He was very flexible in any changes and did his absolute best to create what we had envisioned for our day. I found him because of the awesome reviews he had and now I can see why!! I really wanted to have succulents in my bouquet and he worked so hard to be sure that I did! (Real ones would not have worked within the bouquet, so he used artificial ones, but you can't even tell!) We had absolutely no issues with him delivering on time and providing even more than what we had envisioned. I absolutely recommend; especially with how expensive flowers can be, you will not go wrong with Moya. -

With a short timeline and a busy schedule, he was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. He even went as far as to check out the venue alone to make sure the design matched the aesthetic of the location. I came to him with a "feeling" of the wedding vibe I was looking for and he brought the most beautiful design, much more than I could have envisioned. I wish WeddingWire would let me upload more photos because every single centerpiece was unique.
Even with the unexpected rain, Moya quickly adjusted and was able to have our entire indoor space beautified and decorated.
Moya went above and beyond and made us feel like our wedding was the most important project to him. I just told him my style and what I liked and let him take creative liberty with the whole thing. Every few weeks he would touch base with me and bounce ideas around which I appreciated so much. I felt like my wedding was a priority for him the entire year, dispite knowing he had a very busy schedule. I would recommend Lal Moya to anyone wanting a beautiful wedding or party!

Karina Sent on 08/30/2018I think I'm in love. Lal was the best! I talked to different florists before him and they were fine, but working with Lal was definitely the best choice. First he had the best prices, second his personality is so charming, his happiness and excitement is contagious. He was very responsive and I could have not asked for a better person to create my wedding vision! He did the most beautiful arch for my ceremony and people at the wedding kept telling me how they have never seen a most beautiful reception.
