Amy did an incredible job making all of our dreams come true for our wedding day, and we are so truly grateful for her!
Amy’s communication was great from the beginning. She was timely in responding and always answered every question, no matter how insignificant it might have seemed to someone from the outside. She always made time to speak with my mother and I when needed.
Amy genuinely cared about helping my now husband and I to design the day exactly how we wanted to from a venue perspective. She made the effort to really dig into the details and helped us make everything a reality, down to the custom garnishes we sourced for our signature cocktails. It felt so relieving to know that we had someone who cared and wanted to ensure our day was exactly what we wanted. Our wedding would not have been as special without her and all of the small touches made possible because of her thoughtful questions and attention to detail.
Amy went above and beyond the day of the wedding to make sure everything was running smoothly. I had absolutely no stress during my wedding because I knew everything was taken care of based on our previous conversations, and Amy’s role the day of. She even fluffed my dress for me the as I was walking down the aisle!
I highly recommend working with Amy and LWRGCC. Gorgeous venue, incredible food, reasonable prices and great service. What more could you ask for! -

I can’t say enough how amazing this venue is, we had the ceramony overlooking the lake with an amazing fountain, cocktail hour on the balcony which was so spacious and the grand ballroom for the reception, the decor throughout made for such an elegant wedding, incredibly the venue comes with a wedding coordinator and we had the best help with Hayley, she was interested in every detail and help tremendously along the way , she responded quickly to emails and calls and we had several meet ups, she troubleshooted if something arose which really not much did because she was on top of everything, she checked on vendors and went over every detail ahead of time, our experience with the venue and Hayley was a #10

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our big day than LWRGCC! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was going to be the perfect place. It is truly such a beautiful venue with beautiful views (especially during sunset)! There were so many great spots for photo opportunities. On top of it being stunning, it is in the perfect location (close to airports and many hotels), which made it convenient for our many out-of-state guests. The food was delicious and the staff were all so incredible! Hayley and Maxine were so welcoming and attentive. Hayley was easy to communicate with and provided so many amazing suggestions that helped make the day even more special. Nothing was overlooked! So glad we chose LWRGCC- everything was perfect! -

Our wedding was just yesterday and I knew I wanted to write a review as soon as I possibly could - LWRGCC made my wedding day absolutely unforgettable. Amy is incredible. Maxine is incredible. Every staff member we had an interaction with was amazing. Even with hiccups in our timeline, not caused by or to the fault of LWRGCC, Amy kept my now husband and I calm and collected, got us back on track and absolutely knocked it out of the park. I am not an easy person to deal with when I’m frustrated and Amy did not bat an eye and absolutely turned my day around for the best. She even went as far as bustling my dress for me! From the moment we booked our wedding date, to the date itself, the communication and attention we received was impeccable. Food is amazing, the venue is beautiful, and I would highly recommend this venue for any event. The attention to detail and eye for aesthetics the staff has is superb. I would get married again in a heartbeat, but only if it were at LWRGCC with Amy & Maxine! -

Best decision we've ever made!
I found out about Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club because of their great reviews and the moment my husband & I stepped foot into their venue- we fell in love.
Meeting Hayley on top of that has been an absolute pleasure. We are extremely lucky to have met and worked with her. She made the wedding planning process so much easier for us. She answered our emails in a timely fashion and with great detail. She handled my type A personality with so much grace! Their team is extremely experienced and made us feel so at ease with every step of the way. They also coordinated with all the other vendors we hired and we've heard nothing but great feedback from our other vendors about how organized and easy it is to work with LRGCC.
They provide day of coordination and food/ drinks once you decide to work with them. We did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at their venue and it made it so much easier for our guests.
We received numerous amounts of compliments about the wedding venue and food itself. It was beautiful and everything we could have asked for! The food was delicious- we got the herb crusted salmon and beef short ribs as our main entrees and it was PHENOMENAL!
My husband and I also come from different cultures (Filipino & Vietnamese) and we had specific requests for our program to accommodate for some traditions & performances we wanted. The LRGCC team handled it so flawlessly and made sure that we don't worry about anything come wedding day. It was truly so amazing.
We highly recommend them! It was the best decision we've ever made ! -

Hayley and all the service providers were exceptional. They were friendly, professional and incredibly accommodating . All of our requests were met with a can do attitude . It rained so we weren't able to have the wedding on the grass near the golf course but the staff quickly made an adjustment so that instead of having to go inside we were under a covering on the patio which turned out to be delightful . The rain and golf course were a beautiful backdrop for our incredibly special day .
The food and venue are top tier . The service was as if we were at the Ritz . We could not be happier with how the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club provided for our wedding. 🙏🏼 -

Wonderful venue!
When our original wedding venue had to cancel on us just days before the big day, we were in desperation. Thankfully, Hayley and the team at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club reached out a compassionate hand and not only accommodated us last-minute, but made our wedding day even more perfect than we could have imagined. Their communication was incredibly thorough, as they discussed every detail with us, even more so than our previous venue. On the day, the staff's professionalism shone through as they set up everything exactly as we wanted, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful, spacious, and inviting space. The guests were raving about how beautiful the venue was, and how delicous the food was! Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club truly went above and beyond to make our special day run smoothly, and I cannot recommend them enough. -

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. From the time we booked the venue to the very end of our wedding night, everything was absolutely seamless. Hayley was our coordinator and she was THE BEST!!! Her attention to detail, organization, communication, vendor recommendations, timeline, decor setup, customer service, the list goes on and on... was perfect. She helped make the entire wedding planning process as stress free as possible, answered any questions we had almost immediately, and made accommodations when necessary. Our experience were fantastic Amy and Maxine were my back bones…. To choose not to have a wedding planner and having these two on site an email or phone calls away was extra helpful and very important! They were to the point on everything, nothing was done untouched, they covered all basics for my wedding to become the talk of everyone!
Their punctualities, respect’s, team work, our goals together were phenomenal!
The venue was like a place in Hollywood, very clean, elegant, it was exactly what I was looking for!
My guests loved Amy and Maxine you guys made them so welcomed and invited, for that I thank you!
The decorations were beautiful, the weather was perfect, the food was tasty and great, the open bar was a plus for my Caribbean folks!
I love it all the way around!

The LWRGCC was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. We had a lot of out of town guests who found the venue gorgeous and convenient. We loved that the bridal party could get ready at the venue, have first look photos, and our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location. Guests enjoyed the indoor/outdoor event. My Dad worked as a bartender and his dad was a chef, so he is a tough critique when it comes to food and he LOVED everything!!! I highly recommend the short rib and sea bass.
THE BRIDAL SUITE IS AMAZING and we had the best time getting ready with our catered breakfast and lunch. The indoor spaces and outdoor spaces ( i.e. THE TUNNEL and golf course) provided GORGEOUS locations for our photos and everything was convenient. Our guests LOVED the food and are consistently complimenting the service.
Amy Stephenson SAVED THE DAY when she tied my now husband's bow tie!! Amy was a pleasure to work with and helped up create the wedding of our dreams. She recommended other fabulous vendors, as well. The champagne for guests while our ceremony started was a wonderful moment. I cannot THANK AMY AND THE ENTIRE STAFF AT LWRGCC enough for our amazing wedding. 10/10 recommend LWRGCC as a wedding venue. -

I cannot say enough great things about working with Hayley. I secured this venue about a year before my wedding, and I am so glad I did. It was pretty much a no-brainer because the prices were reasonable, they offered catering, and I loved that they had a terrace on the second floor and a large ballroom. We loved the smooth transition from our ceremony on the lawn, up the stairs to cocktail hour on the terrace, through the doors to the ballroom for the reception, and down through the main stairs to the sparkler exit outdoors. The grounds and the clubhouse are beautiful. I especially loved the cool shots we got from the Ivy Tunnel (I think that's what it's called?). The bridal suite is also HUGE and I love that you get a large private room that you can keep your things in when the wedding starts. I also appreciated that they provide a steamer and clothing rack. You also order your food for the morning/afternoon of (breakfast/lunch for bridal suite, lunch for groomsmen suite); we loved the food and the presentation of it. The groomsmen get a room on the ground floor which is called the "Card Room" and that's connected to an outdoor terrace which is great for pictures.
But anyways, enough about the venue... Hayley is a Catering Sales Manager at LWRGCC and she is THE BEST!!! Like oh my goodness, my day would not have been as amazing as it was without her. She has such an attention to detail and is so organized. We worked so well together. She and Maxine seriously saved the day at my wedding, because unfortunately, one of my vendors provided chairs that had visible ugly velcro straps on them. So they took care of this behind the scenes, and Maxine drove to go get chair pads from this vendor that covered the velcro straps. I am beyond appreciative, because they really went above and beyond their duty. In general, Hayley did so much more than a venue coordinator should do, such as helping to move my ceremony flowers to reception. I adore the team at this venue and I couldn't be happier. -

Dream Wedding!
You could not put a price on the experience we had at LWRGCC! From the second we walked in we were taken back by the beauty of this venue and the knowledge their wedding coordinator, Hayley, shared about the venue, vendors in the area, and all the need-to-know leading up to our day. Our wedding ceremony was supposed to be on the lawn but was unfortunately rained out. The relationship between the staff at LWRGCC and Oneco florist was unbelievable and I could not have been more thankful for their expertise putting together a beautiful indoor ceremony. From the rehearsal dinner to the end of the night, our wedding with LWRGCC was one for the books and we will forever cherish it being the best day of our lives thanks to the staff and Hayley. -

Our wedding day was perfect and planning was made easy by LWRGCC! We received almost all of our recommendations for vendors from the club and they were a hit. Hayley was extremely responsive and helpful in regards to planning decisions. Day of, the bridal suite was a beautiful and extremely functional space. The ceremony was gorgeous and well executed. At the reception, the food and drinks were delicious, the dance floor was packed, and the room felt spacious but well filled in. The team at LWRGCC made everything flawless. They were attentive to detail so that all of our plans came to fruition with their day of organization and we were able to just enjoy the day. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone! -

Our wedding guests cannot stop talking about this venue! We were a COVID couple, so we hired the Club as our venue back in 2019, for what became a 2021 wedding. The whole time we were struggling with planning and postponing, our original coordinator was so supportive in helping us navigate a terrible situation. Our wedding was passed to Hayley after our original coordinator left and she was so great to work with the whole rest of the way. The beauty of this space speaks for itself, but the support we received from the whole team made it worth every penny. On top of the food being incredible! And the ceremony space just cannot be beaten - our guests are still raving about my entrance down the spiral staircase into the ceremony. It made my procession unique and unforgettable. The entire club is perfect for any romantic, bright, open, and airy weddings. Thank you Hayley! -

Absolute perfect!
Our day was perfect and this venue is beautiful! The staff was great and the food was delicious! All the vendors they work with were great and local so they are there often and have their routines down but above all was Hayley the wedding coordinator! SHE IS AMAZING!! Our wedding would not have been as smooth and flawless as it was without her! From start to finish she was there. She follows up and has timelines and always asks if I needed anything. I NEVER once stressed about the wedding, not even on the day! We had a 6 o’clock(pm) wedding and got there at 9 o’clock (am) to get ready and take pictures before. We were there all day and it was all perfect! Hayley was the best!!!!
There is not one thing I regret about using this venue. -

I absolutely LOVED this venue. I have passed down the recommendation to several other brides as well. The service is wonderful, the staff is amazing, incredible food, and a spiral staircase, (I mean come on). I will say the most amazing part of the whole experience was Hayley the coordinator. This was a beautiful location to hold our rehearsal dinner (wine room), wedding ceremony (lawn), cocktail hour (patio), and reception (ballroom). The staff is so professional and accommodating, particularly as our expected guest count changed due to COVID. Even with a change in coordinator part way through planning, the transition was seamless and the planning made easy. They were so easy for our band, florist, and string trio to work with, and parking is convenient for guests. They truly went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly. Our food selections received rave reviews as well. We looked at numerous venues including the Ritz Carleton in Sarasota, the Vinoy in St. Pete, and several resorts in Clearwater, and all were significantly more expensive without greater value. With such a high quality venue and excellent service at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club, I don’t think we could have had a more beautiful wedding elsewhere. My husband, family, and I would highly recommend this venue. -

Where to even begin?! Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club made all of our wedding dreams come to LIFE. With Hayley as our Captain at the helm throughout our entire journey, my husband and I experienced the most unforgettable day of our lives with every detail more beautiful than the next. Firstly, the absolutely stunning venue: we each had Bridal and Groom suites to get ready with our loved ones on the day of, and the entire property was meticulously breathtaking inside and out, from the ceremony grounds, cocktail hour, ballroom reception, photo/video backdrops, everything was an elegant fairytale. Secondly, the food and beverage was phenomenal. From appetizers to meals, Chef did the most incredible job, all 168 guests raved from beginning to end...and even in the beginning of our planning, he sat with us to convey the quality of food, care, service, EVERYTHING. We were so impressed and touched.
Thirdly, and most importantly, the team, the people, the very foundation of the Club - we owe it all to them, from servers, to dining managers, bartenders and most of all HAYLEY- there's not enough characters to convey our immense gratitude and love. We were absolutely blown away by Hayley, in every part of our wedding journey, from planning to execution, she went above and BEYOND to not only bring our vision to life, but add, and ask additional questions, provide her depth of experience and attention to detail to make sure every little part of our wedding day was truly perfect. Even if you are the most organized person and think you have it all sorted, no matter what, there will be details you forget in the rush of things, and Hayley, knowing this, was our superhero who guided and supported us throughout, always two steps ahead with the biggest smile on her face. Hayley not just professionally, but personally, was a dream. Her passion, warmth, genuine excitement and fun loving attitude shone through every step of the way. They say a picture says a thousand words, and this photo captured during our last dance, says it all. We brought Hayley into a huddled hug, a moment of intimacy and the purest celebration- you can see the joy and bond. Honestly, Hayley is the wedding planner turned best friend of your dreams- and the entire family of Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club will forever hold the most special place in our hearts.
P.S. special shout out to Meghan and Holly for all their support as well, from pre-ceremony support to continuously checking in with us, family and friends throughout the reception, and even afterwards, when coming back to the venue to pick up our belongings, they made sure everything went off without a hitch. I cannot say enough about Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. We used their ballroom for our wedding reception and it was the absolute perfect place to celebrate our marriage! I was able to have use of the venue all day from getting ready early in the morning with my bridal party until our reception ended. All of the meetings and food tastings were very professional. I wanted a mix of elegance but a place where we could enjoy the party and they exceeded my expectations! The Ivy Tunnel was also an area I knew would embody the elegance of this venue. I could not have asked for a better venue or staff! We also had our rehearsal dinner in the wine room and I am so grateful we were able to use that space! -

My parents belong to the club and while my husband and I live in Chicago we knew Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club would be the best choice for us. It is a beautiful venue and the staff there are so helpful. Sinead was a miracle worker as we had to move our wedding a couple times due to COVID. I am so glad we chose Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club. The outside space was perfect for the ceremony. So peaceful with the water fountain. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. The girl’s getting ready room was perfect for getting ready on our wedding day. It was so spacious so everyone could get their hair & makeup done. Sinead (event coordinator) was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so helpful, organized, and responsive. I don’t think we could have done it without her!! I can not thank Sinead and all of the staff enough. Our day was absolutely perfect and amazing! -

Amazing Experience
Our invite list was 235, which made it difficult to find a venue in Sarasota that was big enough, indoors, and still gave us a romantic vibe that we wanted. LWRGCC was the perfect venue for that. The ballroom is elegant but can easily be transformed into a space that feels like your own. I loved having the balcony for sunset and as an added space for guests to enjoy themselves. They also have a bridal suite and a space on a different floor for the guys to get ready. Hayley and her team were absolutely fantastic! Very organized, responsive, friendly, and professional. They had someone just for my husband and I to make sure that we had drinks, food, and whatever else we wanted! The food was amazing and the everyone raved about it! I would highly recommend this venue!

This venue is amazing and the staff and wedding coordinator, Hayley Muzzillo, were outstanding. Hayley was so great, we met with her a number of times, she was patient and helpful, made great suggestions when we needed direction. As the mother of the bride, for the first time, I was so incredibly grateful for her experience and professionalism. I had so many of our friends and family comment on the how good the food was and the beauty of the venue. I really can't say enough...its definitely worth the $$. -

This was my dream wedding venue. I almost didn't look at it too because I was worried it was out of my price range, which was definitely not the case especially if you're willing to get married in the Summer or on a Friday or Sunday. Every part of the venue and the grounds is beautiful and kept exquisitely clean. Working with their coordinator Hayley was just icing on the cake. Her services come with the price of the venue and are outstanding. I didn't have to do anything the day of, and if I did have any concerns leading up to my wedding day or on the day of, she took them seriously and addressed them right away. Their food is also outstanding! Our guests were raving about it for weeks after our wedding. Hayley and the rest of the team at Lakewood Ranch made the most important day of our lives so special. Something we will never forget for the rest of our lives. Don't hesitate to book this venue for your wedding. You won't regret it!!!!

5 Star Service! Beautiful Day!
It’s hard to put into works how amazing Sinead and the staff at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club were. Our wedding was last week and we are still smiling and guests are still raving about how amazing our venue was! Sinead went above and beyond in every aspect. There was an issue with my cake and she had it fixed before I even knew anything was wrong. She understood my vision and helped execute everything the day of so I didn’t have to worry about anything! The food was incredible and the sneak peeks of our pictures are amazing. If you want to feel special on your big day and have a team that feels more like a friend than a vendor then look no further! -

Rose Sent on 11/27/2017LWRCG was perfect for our wedding! We worked with Rachel and she so great to work with!! We book LWRCC over a year before our wedding and I kept Rachels inbox full of questions and ideas to add to our wedding. She was more than a coordinator for our wedding, she did so so much and we can't thank her enough. The service at the club was beyond amazing. Everyone was very nice and personable and did everything they could to help us. The room for the girls to get ready in was great. My dress was a secrete because I wanted that wow moment for pictures from my girls, and I got it! So the set-up was great. The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The new chef is incredible. He came out when we were doing our tasting and answered all of our questions and helped design the menu for our rehearsal, which we did at the club as well. We did Filet and the Champagne Chive Chicken. Both were so good and everyone complemented on the food. One guest I know preferred her steak more well done but didn't want to wait for them to cook it more, so they brought her chicken instead. Rachel kept us on our timeline and made sure everything was handled! She even bustled my dress several times when it popped! She was an angel! The ceremony location was beautiful. I was worried about the fountain being noisy, but with the microphone, you couldn't even hear it. Walking down the stairs was exciting, especially since it was really windy and my cathedral length veil went flying in front of me, it's okay it created dramatic photos I was going for ;) Rachel and Hayley tag team to make sure the timing of everything is flawless as well. We rented the cocktail hour downstairs and it was definitely worth it. I wanted our guests to be wowed when they walked in for the first time and not be peaking in through the windows upstairs plus I was worried our guests warm. We loved our wedding at LWRCC and would use LWRCC again! BEST VENUE!

Her and her team were on top of every aspect of our wedding! We did have a rainy day, but Rachel was all over keeping us informed of our options and when the call was made to have the ceremony moved, they made it happen quickly! Our reception was gorgeous and the food was AMAZING! If you have the opportunity to have a wedding at Lakewood Ranch CC you will not be disappointed! Courtney Sent on 04/13/2011I actually got married at The Lake Club, which is part of Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club. The Lake Club is absolutely breath taking; we received so many complements on our location. “It looks like something off TV”! To me The Lake Club, is like an Italian Tuscan Castle, just beautiful from the time you drive up and it’s nice and tucked way so my wedding was completely private. The ceremony was beautiful facing the lake and the weather was perfect. Working with Kelly & Jennifer was wonderful. They were there for anything that we needed. Answered every phone call and email. Made any changes that I wanted no matter how minor or last minute. The staff on the day of the wedding was superb, they took care of all our guests and the bridal party, they made sure we had everything we needed and catered to us the entire night and the food was delicious. We received complements on how great the food was. The eggplant is to die for, it’s still the best I’ve ever had. Jennifer made sure that everything flowed seamlessly; I had no worries about how the day went. I was completely carefree on my wedding day and enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t thank Jennifer enough for all of her hard work, so gave to us. Our wedding day was like something out of a dream. Thank you so much for everything, our wedding is a day to remember. -

That's where Rachel and my girls came in! Rachel was available from the beginning as much as she could be and made sure my dream wedding came true! We had a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding and Rachel and their staff did an awesome job helping to ensure my fairytale was nothing less than a fairytale! After two years of planning with her, I am very grateful for the staff at LWR Golf & Country Club and wouldn't have picked a different venue! -

The service that this venue provided was above and beyond. I was blessed enough to marry my now wife after Hurricane Milton, and Lakewood Ranch went above and beyond to make everything turn out perfect. Their help on our rehearsal and wedding day was incredible. The only problem was that they helped out so much, more than we expected, that we didn't need to worry as much before hand! Beautiful venue! -

Suzanne Sent on 11/01/2010Lakewood Ranch was the location for both my ceremony and reception. Kelly did a fabulous job from start to finish. She was on top of every step, gave us suggestions and made sure everything ran smoothly. The dinner was excellent. Our only complaint was the most expensive appetizer, smoked salmon, was served without any kind of baguette or bread to place it on, so it went mostly uneaten as guests complained they did not know what to do with it. Guests raved about the rest of the food. Lakewood Ranch is a beautiful location. It is pricey, but quality of service received made it well worth it. We had a beautiful day, thank you again to the staff.
