Oh my gosh SO delicious

Literally THE best cake I have EVER had. We got the almond-vanilla flavor cake with raspberry filling for the big cake and lemon flavor with strawberry filling for the grooms cake. My goodness I want some now even thinking about it. If you want a cake people will actually eat, look no further. Our guests devoured it and even took some home with them.

Great cake options and great service

We ordered our wedding cake and groom's cake from Lakeview. We did a cake tasting and got to try all of the delicious cake options, you really can't go wrong. The wedding cake was beautiful, and the groom's cake was a great design featuring my husband's favorite soccer team.

Best Cake ever!

Our venue included a cake package from Lakeview Bakery so we chose that option. When I called to make our appointment for the tasting they were very accommodating and the cakes, fillings, and frosting were all wonderful. We chose to have each layer be a different cake/filling combination and that worked out perfectly. We also chose a design from their catalog and customized it some to fit our needs.

The finished product was awesome. The cake tasted heavenly, was beautiful and so incredibly moist. We are very happy with our decision to use this vendor.

They did a fantastic job with the cake. It was exactly what we asked for. They were very flexible to make everything work within our budget. Believe them on the serving sizes! We decided to over order for our guest count, just in case, and we had a lot of cake left over! But the cakes were absolutely beautiful, and tasted wonderful.

Abby was great every time I interacted with her.
Our tasting was fun and no pressure.
She saw my vision with the photos I provided and even suggested other techniques to make my cake special.
She did an unbelievable job on the Grooms Cake as well.
The cakes tasted so great! Had many compliments from guests at the look and taste of both cakes!
My family took the leftovers for the weekend and it was great the next day!
I can't wait to eat our wedding top piece on our anniversary
The partnership that Lakeview Bakery has with Occasions at Stone River made my wedding cake experience "a piece of cake" LOL

Our wedding cake was gorgeous and extremely delicious without breaking the bank! We scheduled a tasting and they were very patient with us while we decided and asked several questions to make sure we had everything covered. They delivered the cake to our venue on time and placed the flowers on it that the florist had brought for the cake. Our guests made several comments about how good the cake was. I was lucky enough that we had some extra and was able to taste it the next day. I can't wait until our anniversary to try more! Thank you Lakeview Bakery for helping make our special day so perfect!

Our cake looked and tasted wonderful. We did something simple yet the bakery was able to make every detail about it so elegant. We had no cake left over besides the top tier. We did the almond cake. Super moist and very tasty :)

OMG...If you live or your function is within Rockwall, Rowlett, Garland area, please use this bakery. I finally went to this bakery as a last minute ditch effort after some very high end bakeries cancelled on me on the day of my wedding cake consulting appointments...can you say stress. I called Lakeview and made an appointment and thankfully they did not cancel. Our consultant was pleasant and attentive to what we wanted. We selected a specialty wedding cake...Italian Cream Cake...wow wow wow...it was so delicious and moist and delivered on time. It was the main attraction at the wedding. Great Job...we are coming back on our anniversary to order another Italian cream cake. The price did not break the bank either. I can't say enough about this vendor.

Cake selection was one of the first to-do items my fiance and I checked off of our wedding planning list thanks to Lakeview Bakery!! Two words: ALMOND CAKE. Holy moly, I am counting down the days to taste it again on our special day!! Not only are their cakes gorgeous and delicious, but the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable in helping us know what we needed for our wedding. We selected a 4 tier, multi-flavored cake and additional cupcakes (again, ALMOND CAKE) and cannot wait to share the sweetness with our nearest and dearest! Will definitely be using Lakeview for all of our celebratory treat needs!

BEAUTIFUL and delicious too! I have had several guest inquire about our cake. My husband doesn't even really like sweets. He was blown away and that says alot!!

WOW, what a special night and your cake absolutely topped it off. You did what we asked and adding the jeeps to the grooms side was such a glorious tribute to the kind of adventurous life they will lead. The cakes for our wedding tasted so good I dream about them even 8 months later! The workers here were so nice, helpful, and very patient with my indecisive self! Very happy customer!

Lakeview Bakery is the best cake I've ever tasted at a wedding! One of my best friends used her for her wedding so they were first on my list! Not only were they easy to work with, they let us make changes up to the day before our wedding. The cake is so delicious, there wasn't any left! I highly recommend using them as your bakery whether it is cakes or cupcakes, weddings or birthdays. Love them!

Our cake was amazing! It was exactly what we wanted! Our guests raved about how beautiful it was and how wonderful it tasted! Mara was wonderful to work with and responded quickly to emails! My husband wanted a Texas Tech cake and it turned out perfect! He loved it! Prices were very reasonable!

Our wedding cakes turned out exactly how we pictured them. They were beautiful and tasted delicious! We worked with Courtney and she was great to work with and really seemed to care about helping us choose our cakes. They have great prices and are very talented!! We are happy we used Lakeview Bakery for our wedding - they were the best!

Lakeview bakery did a fabulous job!!! I absolutely loved our wedding and grooms cake. The details of the cake were so carefully done. They definately exceeded my expectations. The cakes were one of my favorite parts of the wedding. They tasted great as well!

Lakeview Bakery did a great job on the cakes at the wedding. My cake taste awesome (white with strawberry ganache and italian creme). The groom's cake, which was in the shape of a fire helmet, looked so real and tasted very good (red velvet). There was not one piece of the groom's cake. When we went for the taste testing Mara was very helpful and provided us with a lot of samples to taste.

THEY ARE OUTSTANDING!!! We wanted a Yoda cake and they made the greatest looking Yoda cake ever!! AND it was honestly the best tasting cake I have ever had! It was pricey, but they priced about the same as other bakery places. Quality and service was exceptional! Hip hip hooray!

I recommend this place to anybody that needs wedding cakes, or any kind of cake for that matter because on top of having good prices, the cakes are fantastic!

Lakeview Bakery was instrumental in helping us pull off a wedding planned in a very short time! My tiered half-naked cake was perfect! The groom's cake was a replica of a 155mm round, and was the coolest surprise for my husband. Thanks for your flexibility and great work!

Considering Lakeview Bakery's price, I honestly didn't have high expectations. I photoshopped exactly how I wanted the cake to look because I honestly didn't initially trust that they understood what I wanted, which included a custom monogram I created. I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw my wedding cake! It was EXACTLY what I wanted! And it tasted so good that we took most of the cake home with us - by FAR the best wedding cake I've ever eaten! We had so many compliments from others saying the same!

Both cakes were beautiful. The brides cake had the simple but elegant look that I wanted. The cake tasted wonderful. We were able to get a cheesecake for the grooms cake which was a big hit. A very enjoyable experience.

Even though I sadly did not get to eat much of our actual cakes the day of, I heard a lot of guest remarks about how amazing they were. The price wasn't too bad (when you consider that you're going to pay a lot for a wedding cake) and when compared with other bakeries, they're pretty much dirt cheap. Both the wedding cake and groom's cake were stunning day of and (apparently) tasted amazing.

Originally the venue for our wedding was using this place before they switched to another location due to this place being sold to another owner. However, we did have a cake testing and did work on ideas with this place. The time we spent with them was great, the cake samples were delicious and they were great with the brainstorming as well. My friend gets all her cakes here and she got our bridal shower cake from here and it was awesome and very tasty!

Lakeview Bakery has the best tasting cakes around and for a very reasonable price! It took some time to get my order straight, but everything else went well. The cake was delivered on time, the design was exactly how I pictured it, and everyone loved the way it looked (and tasted!).

I have very mixed reviews about Lakeview Bakery... the cake both mine & our grooms cake were delicious & georgous. We are still getting compliments about it. BUT when they delivered out cakes they forgot my cake topper at the bakery. I didn't notice until after the ceremony, a friend of ours called the emergency number after some huffing puffing and denying that they had my cake topper the owner FINALLY brought it to our wedding location. Waiting on them to bring our cake topper delayed the cake cutting and other things to follow.
