We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at Lake Wissota Golf & Events on June 17, 2017 and the entire experience was absolutely amazing!! The service was impressive from start to finish! The food was absolutely fantastic! Our guests were all impressed with the level of service and the food as well! Venue director Shannon was fantastic to work with. She was so flexible and accommodating with all of our requests. She had so many great ideas to make our day special which we would not have thought of on our own. Shannon made us feel special and that she wanted our day to be amazing as well. Loved the lemonade stand and outdoor hor d'oeuvre and cocktail time after the ceremony! The weather forecast said it would rain on our outdoor wedding ceremony but Shannon kept us calm with all of the possibilities to make the ceremony beautiful in spite of the weather. I can't thank her enough for that alone. Luckily it did not rain and everything turned out amazing and beautiful. Our guests are still saying how much fun they had at the wedding, how great the food and cocktails were and how fabulous the service was. Everything was fabulous from the big things like the food and service down to the smaller details like the purple linen napkins to match our color scheme and sandwiches for the wedding party to eat as we were getting ready. None of those things went unnoticed. I absolutely encourage all future brides to have their wedding and reception at Lake Wissota Golf & Events or any event someone is planning. They are so easy to work with and the quality and value cannot be beat. The event space itself both inside and outside is so pretty and the views are spectacular. We are so happy we made the decision to have our wedding at Lake Wissota Golf & Events! We always knew that we wanted to get married at a location by the water. Lake Wissota Golf & Events is a beautiful venue and offered us just that. As soon as we visited the location we stopped looking for a venue - we knew Lake Wissota Golf & Events was perfect for us.

Angela, the Event Coordinator and Clubhouse Manager, is wonderful. We had multiple meetings with her throughout our wedding planning process. She is very professional and knowledgeable about event planning. She was prompt in responding to emails and answering questions. She offered us a list recommendations for vendors that she has worked closely with in the past. There was even a tasting event held for us and other Brides & Grooms to meet with vendors and try some of the delicious food that the venue has to offer.

Our wedding day went very smoothly. Angela and all of the staff at Lake Wissota Golf & Events took very good care of us. We did have rain on our wedding day but were able to move the ceremony inside and it worked just fine. The food was great - the chicken cordon bleu was a big hit. We also had steak and vegetarian stuffed mushrooms as well as a nacho bar for late night snack. Everyone loved the food!

We had a wonderful experience planning our wedding at Lake Wissota Golf & Events and are so happy with our choice. Our day was perfect and despite the rain we have beautiful photographs on the golf course and by the lake, as well as around the venue itself. We had our wedding reception at Lake Wissota Golf. The location is beautiful and Angela was very pleasant to work with. The food was amazing. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding reception!

We chose to have our wedding & reception at Lake Wissota Golf. The prices were very similar to other venues in the area but the location and scenery could not be beat. Being huge golf fanatics, my husband and I loved the idea of being married at a golf course. We even incorporated the theme into our wedding. Staff was courteous, quick to help and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The food was phenomenal and everyone commented on what a gorgeous site it was.

We were married in July 2018 at Lake Wissota and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Shannon, their stellar Wedding Director, has templates and timelines to use so that her staff are prepared for the day of. When we got to the venue everything was set exactly how we planned. Their staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Lake Wissota requires you to use their kitchen versus bringing in a caterer and it was definitely well worth it. We decided on a plated dinner and everyone's meal was fresh and hot! Lake Wissota was incredibly flexible - literally everything we asked for, Shannon was up to the task. We would highly recommend Lake Wissota! Thank you for giving us a beautiful day!

Recently my daughters wedding reception was held at Lake Wissota Golf and Events. Shannon worked with us and presented many options that worked within our budget. She and the other staff members were very professional and the event went very smoothly. We received many compliments on the setting and the food from our guest. I would highly recommend this venu to anyone planning a wedding or other event.

We got married on New Year's Eve and had a FANTASTIC time celebrating at Lake Wissota. We booked the venue about a year in advance and Shannon was wonderful to work with! We had plenty of time to set up the venue on Friday and clean up on Sunday. We all got ready (hair/makeup/clothes) in the lower level of the venue, took pictures at the venue. Our guests raved about the food and the location! Two tips for future brides: ask for an extra bartender (they seemed a little overwhelmed right away when all the guests arrived) and get a shuttle bus service to transport guests back to their hotel that night -- that way everyone can have a few more drinks and a little extra fun :) THANK YOU, LWG, for a day we will remember forever!
