Carl Officiated our Wedding in Oct'25 and it was great!
Carl was very helpful throughout the process, which was very comforting for us who didn't have much experience with how a typical ceremony goes.
He had a list of suggestions and options for us to pick and choose how we wanted the ceremony to go, what needs to be said, and that helped us to easily choose the readings that resonated with us the most, without having to come up with them from scratch either.
He was always available to us via phone and quick to respond via email too! He was considerate in stepping aside during the vows and first kiss so that the couple (us) were front and center without distractions.

The Morrow's Wedding Day
Me and my husband got married on August 20th in North Lake Tahoe and Lake Tahoe Wedding Ministries was outstanding! We were able to figure out our Officiant right away. (Depended who was available.) Reverend Carl was amazing. He was able to respond quickly with questions I had. He also was able to meet up with me and my husband before the wedding date and go over our vows. And he also coordinated our rehearsal. The ceremony was amazing! I can't thank him enough on how he made us feel, let alone our guests feel. He was very professional and the price range was reasonable. He made us feel so comfortable and answered all our questions. I 1000% recommend!

My husband and I got married in late May and our minister was Reverend Carl Lackey. We couldn’t be happier with his services, he did an amazing job! He reached out to us a few days before our wedding to get to know a bit about us and our expectations for our special day. My husband is Persian and I’m Hispanic, so we thought it was very sweet of him to welcome everyone in Farsi and Spanish. The words he shared were so thoughtful and brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Lake Tahoe Beach Wedding Ceremony
Rev. Carl Lackey was truly exceptional and easy to work with. He wrote the entire ceremony, including our vows. On the day of, we experienced colder than expected weather and he was flexible in meeting our request to shorten the ceremony so we weren't all icicles by the end of the ceremony. Reverand Carl Lackey is without a doubt the best person to beautifully orchestrate a wedding. My wife and I had no ide what we were doing as neither of us had been to a proper wedding. Rev. Lackey helped walk us through what to do where to be and what to say. He helped us iron out all the wrinkles and put our worries to rest. When I tell you everybody at the wedding was crying, it is an understatement. Rev. Lackey delivered our vows in such a way that it had grown men crying. The personal touch he adds to the vows makes it so much more personable and makes it feel as if a long-term friend was delivering the vows. My wife and I were blown away by the way he delivered them and we were the ones that picked them and wrote them. After the ceremony was done multiple people came up to us and said it was the most beautiful ceremony they had been to and that Rev. Lackey did an absolute amazing job. Words cannot even begin to describe how well our wedding turn out due to him. Myself, my wife and everybody at the wedding would highly recommend Rev. Lackey. Even our wedding photographer, who has been to hundreds of weddings said that Rev. Lackey is the best she’s seen. As two young 20-year-olds we were also very thrilled with his affordability. We were starting to stress heavily on what expenses to cut but we surely didn’t cut any expenses with Rev. lackey. We are so grateful to have him at our wedding and would highly recommend him to anybody looking to get married or renew their vows.

Dave was available with both strategy and planning for the ceremony itself. His suggestions were amazing and headed us back on the right path. His speaking during the actual ceremony was beautiful, eloquent, and well thought out. He listened very well to what we wanted and helped us to get that in a best way. As mother of the bride, I highly recommend Reverend Carl Lackey. He was very flexible when traffic held up the rehearsal and was very good at leading the large group of brides maids and groomsmen along with flower girl, ring bearer and junior brides maid at the rehearsal. I don't know what we would have done without him. He was very professional and sensitive to the bride and groom's desires for their wedding. He provided great resources for the bride and groom for them to be able to plan and have just what they wanted for their vows as well as special readings.
We really enjoyed the flow of the ceremony with all the components that they chose, which made it personal and intimate as well as joyful and celebratory, including with it also the feeling of solemn commitment that Reverend Carl provided. We highly recommend him for anyone looking for an excellent Officiant for their wedding.

Best officiant!
My husband and I got married in beautiful Lake Tahoe and got so lucky to find Rev Dave to officiate our wedding. Words cannot describe how perfect the ceremony he wrote was. I watch my wedding video over and over and his words bring tears to my eyes. My guests have complimented me over and over how beautiful the ceremony he wrote was. He was very professional and got to know us through email and zoom calls since we do not live in the area. He also had my husband and I both send him our vows to ensure both were evenly matched. My husband and I plan to renew our vows in the future and our hope is to have Rev Dave be there again to conduct the perfect ceremony. I cannot thank him enough for making our ceremony perfect. Outstanding Wedding Ceremony
Absolutely phenomenal experience. We had planned a small destination wedding in Tahoe and researched several wedding officiants. Dave was highly recommended. I spent nearly 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and I’m not the easiest person for someone to exceed my expectations. Dave exceeded our expectations from the start of planning to the end of the wedding ceremony. Our ceremony was held along the shore of Lake Tahoe and the weather changed quickly. It started snowing and then turned into a light rain/snow mix. While my bride and I were able to use an umbrella when needed for portions of the ceremony, Dave stood in the wet and cold weather and conducted the ceremony as though it was dry and 75 degrees out. The ceremony turned out perfect! Also, Dave is extremely personable. Everyone in our family enjoyed talking to him. If you are looking for a wedding officiant in the Lake Tahoe area, just book your ceremony with Rev. Dave Beronio.

Wonderful Officiant
Reverend Dave took the time in the months before our wedding to ask questions and to get to know us. He made our little wedding ceremony so personal and his words really spoke to us. We appreciated how he touched on the little nuances of our lives to make it so unique to us! Everyone there all felt that he did a wonderful job and we couldn't be more thankful. He went out and beyond what I expected, and I especially appreciated his advice and direction for the beginning of the service, as with an elopement with no processional, it was hard to know what to do. His suggestions took the stress away for me, and made it all come together seamlessly. Highly recommend!

My husband and I cannot say enough about how amazing David was to work with. David met up with us to get to know us individually and was always very responsive to our questions. David had lots of great input on various aspects of the wedding process, he also worked with us on our vows and provided feedback which was a huge relief. David brought in a lot of personal touches and incorporated our ideas into the wedding ceremony so that it truly reflected us as a couple and our values. The day of the wedding he really orchestrated everything leading up to us going down the aisle. He made sure everyone knew where they were going and had what they needed to make the day went exceptionally smooth. David's punctuality, professionalism, experience and charisma were also above and beyond. We would absolutely recommend David for your special day!

Nothing but the Best from Rev Dave
Thank you SO much to Rev David Beronio, Jr. for making our wedding ceremony exactly what we hoped for. We had our hearts set on getting married at Valhalla and while at first it was a very important moment for my (the bride's) family to have a Catholic priest marry us, we soon realized that this would not work and we were forced to consider other options.
I was pretty anxious about finding someone who would set the tone for the ceremony we were hoping to evoke. As soon as we found Rev. Dave though we realized our search was over. His professionalism, willingness to customize the ceremony to fit our wants/needs, and overall presence created such a special moment for ourselves and our guests. He was so easy to communicate with during the entire wedding planning process and really took the time to get to know us.
Not only were we pleased with how everything went during our ceremony, but all of my family (even the most religious ones) came up to us to congratulate us on "having the most moving and beautiful ceremony they've ever attended". Many wanted to go congratulate Rev. Dave after even because of how wonderful job he did.
We consider ourselves lucky and blessed to have the opportunity to have Rev. Dave preside ovr our ceremony. Thank you so very much from the bottom our of hearts.

Best Officiant Ever!!
Reverend Dave Beronio Jr. was the absolute best from start to finish! From the first phone call we had expressing what we wanted in our ceremony, to the last call where he finalized things with us and offered some great suggestions that we hadn't even thought of. It was the best ceremony we could've asked for. He was professional, thoughtful, well-spoken, and everything ran so smoothly, especially for us having a destination wedding and being out of state. Many of our guests even commented on how wonderful our officiant was and asked how we found him. My groom works in the wedding industry and has seen hundreds of officiants perform ceremonies and said hands down, Dave is one of the best! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect ceremony that we will remember forever, largely thanks to Dave. Do yourself a favor and choose him as your officiant!

Brown Elopement in Tahoe 2021!
Since COVID wrecked our 2020 wedding plans we decided to elope in Lake Tahoe. We came across David's website and sent in an inquiry and received a very timely response (I believe the next day!). David scheduled an over the phone meeting with us and instantly we felt all of the stress go away. He told us his background (over 25 years experience!) and we went over possible locations for our elopement. He was very attentive to our plans and helped guide us through the process all the way. He even got us into contact with our awesome photographer - Beata Jarvis at Jarvis Photography (check her out, she is absolutely awesome!). We couldn't be more happy with the dedication and service we recieved from David. It snowed on our wedding day and he didn't skip a beat, he even helped me plan a surprise first dance for my husband! Thank you David for our totally awesome, special day!

Perfect Elopement Ceremony
Dave was amazing, professional and genuine. We planned to elope 2 days prior to our already planned South Lake Tahoe trip. Dave was flexible to the last minute time change due to weather and took the time to get to know us in the short time prior to the ceremony to ensure our vows mirrored our commitment and style. The Perfect Officiant for Our Perfect Day
When we decided to elope we did not really know what to expect. I saw Dave on WeddingWire and reached out. He helped us to feel prepared and relaxed about our big decision and big day. He advised us on our vows and created a ceremony that was so completely "US". The words he offered us will always be a beautiful memory. When we asked him to hike one of our favorite mountains, he did not think twice, and even helped to carry our gear so our hands were free for pictures. I do not know how it was possible that we found an officiant that was so fitting to our relationship and lifestyle but I thank the heavens we did. We are eternally grateful Dave!

Dave was the officiate for our New Years Day wedding at sand harbor and made every effort to make our ceremony perfect. Coming from out of state, we were a little in the dark about the area and having his help to guide us through the do’s and do-not’s was extra handy. I happened to find this service on yelp after having a terrible experience working with another service here in Tahoe. After just one phone call with Rev. Beronio jr. I knew I had made the right choice. He was attentive quick to respond and very helpful. When it came to the day of I was nervous since my husband and I had never met the reverend in person but he had greeted both of us prior to the ceremony and calmed all the nerves we both had. The service was impeccable and felt as though he had known us for years. We received several comments from friends and family stating it was the best wedding ceremony they had been to! Dave jr. made our day beyond memorable. He was very attentive to our wishes throughout the entire process. Being that the wedding was destination, I was nervous for how everything would turn out, however, Dave helped to alleviate some of that stress and did a great job of reassuring us both that everything would run smoothly. The ceremony incorporated our faith and love for one another and it was the perfect balance. We could not have asked for anything more and would love to have him renew our vows in the years to come !

Reverend Beronio is not only a thoughtful and articulate officiant, he is quite simply a terrific person. Due to weather (snow/blizzards) our circumstances and times had to change. He accommodated it all and was an active part of looking for solutions. He had a calm and positive presence that made all the difference for us. The best part was that he wanted to be sure to not be in the way of the picture of our first kiss so he jumped out of the way into waist deep snow on our behalf! Best officiate around - hands down!
We have the honor and pleasure of Dave Beronio officiate our wedding this past weekend 2/16/19 and I simply don’t know where to start. I’m so grateful we were able to book him on such short notice. We literally planned a wedding in 3 weeks! Dave was very responsive and courteous! He gave us ton of helpful information to help guid us through our ceremony. We didn’t have time to write our vows, like we wanted, but the information Dave made available to us was fantastic! He even checked in when I lost track of emails and didn’t respond after several days! The day of our wedding he checked in with my groom and then once I got there, running late of course, he checked in with me to be sure we were all on the same page. He was very sweet, kind, and professional. There is a warm and calming sense to him and I just knew he was going to perform the ceremony well - indeed he did! He made our ceremony very personable and even added some things last minute to it! Absolutely wonderful officiant! If you have the opportunity to book him for your special day, do not pass him up! David made our day very special, we deiced to elope instead of the big wedding. David walked through all the different options for us so we could make the choice that was right for us. He is truly a professional that kept if fun and kept us relaxed and at ease. He made his readings very personal to us just from brief conversations and trading emails. We made several requests of David and he was very accommodating including moving the location to have a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe!! If I could give him 10 stars I would. We worked with Dave over email and text a lot since we were having a destination wedding and lived 12 hours away by car. Whenever we had a question or concern he would respond very quickly and answer any questions we had. If there is a better wedding officiant in the Lake Tahoe area I would be completely shocked. We had a ton of compliments on how great Dave was from our guests. Thanks for all you did to make our wedding day perfect.

Dave was amazing! He couldn’t have done our wedding ceremony more perfectly. He was able to personalize and tailor the ceremony to us as if he knew us personally. We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding than Rev Beronio! We requested a brief ceremony and did'nt expect him to invest time into creating a customized presentation. He uses the information regarding the couple's past to fine-tune a message that hits home for all. His words are genuine and he alters his services to the level of religion shared by the couple so no one feels uncomfortable or feels as though they have to perform in order to get through the formalities. At first we were not interested in video taping the event but were so glad we did because Rev. Beronio's message was so moving that (as I stood in front of him) I was gripped by his words. I never expected the beauty that was possible from what I had originally expected...a generic service. Writing our own vows drew resistance at first but Rev. Beronio was very supportive and helpful and the extra work added significant substance to the occasion and deep meaning to those present for the event. My husband said, after watching the video, that Rev. Beronio is the epitome of what you would expect of a hollywood-style reverend. He is easy on the eyes and very handsome but it's the beauty that he draws out from his heart when delivering his services that made me feel blessed to have found him. He was very supportive of the younger attendees who read a poem or blessing for our service and kept an eye on the overall environment to ensure that things went smoothly. For example, he asked that a song be replayed to allow additional time for my entrance. I couldn't hear the music from where I was standing and did not proceed as expected. He helped attach flowers on the men's lapel to ensure they were angled nicely. What more can I say? His services go beyond officiating. He invests himself into the memory being made and we have benefited so much from choosing him! God bless him! P.S. We also used Ciprian Photography and Distinctive Video for our special day and the three worked great together!

He was responsive and there were lots of different vows to choose from if you didn't want to write your own. He even customized it for us which turned out more loving and beautiful than I had expected. Rev. Dave Beronio Jr. provided us with an amazing service. He made our wedding even more special than we could have imagined. He asked us for a little bit of a background on how we met and our "story". We truly gave him 'just a little' background on our relationship. Dave took that little bit of information and managed to create an amazing service detailing our story and relationship with sincere insight. Adding in details that we hadn't even mentioned, but somehow fit perfectly for us. Payment processing was very easy and comfortable. Dave was very informative regarding the steps of the ceremony and helped us feel at ease. He even suggested ideas for our ceremony regarding placement that we hadn't even thought about that made our wedding ceremony truly memorable. If we could give 10 stars we would! Reverend Beronio Jr. was great! He was very helpful with selecting readings and making the ceremony as personalized as we wanted. We wanted something short and simple, and Rev Beronio did a spectacular job putting together a short ceremony that was just what we wanted. Dave was absolutely AMAZING! He took exactly what we wanted, that fit perfectly with our style & values and turned it into the most perfect ceremony ever. We chose not to have Dave attend rehearsal, and so he was more than willing to meet with my husband & I in town for a meet and greet. We all were able to sit down and discuss details and our vision for how we wanted the ceremony to look. Dave added in his professionalism along with our ideas & I couldn't have been more impressed with how the day of the wedding went. When he arrived at the venue, he came and found me and said hello with such a warm, calm and friendly presence. He looked very professional and prepared. From the second the ceremony started to the moment it ended Dave was unbelievable. His wording, tone, vibe, confidence shined through to everyone. I had multiple of my friends and family who attended say what an amazing job he did & how it flowed so nicely. (A few also mentioned how handsome Dave was and how between the 3 of us it looked liked a movie, haha!) We had our son be a part of our ceremony about half way through & the way that Dave incorporated him went flawless. When it was time for "the kiss", Dave was so professional in standing off to the side for the photographs that were being taken. (I didn't even realize this until I got my photo's back from our photographer...and even she said she could instantly tell how experienced he was in doing this). I really loved him for doing that, but even of the pictures including Dave duing our ceremony, look stunning. He was very helpful as we wrote our own vows, we sent him our rough drafts & he was quick to reply with advice in making everything flow as a whole. He also has helpful videos & a website you will be given access to if you choose to go with Dave (do it!). I just cannot say enough about how magical & perfect everything went... I promise Dave will NOT disappoint. He even called me the next day before running my credit credit, how courteous!

David officiated our wedding in Lake Tahoe in March of 2018 and did a fantastic job. David's professionalism, communication skills, and thoughtful approach to working with us was great. David immediately responded to all correspondence even when he was traveling and always provided through information. David took time to personalize our ceremony and helped us create our own vows. Our wedding was an elopement at a hotel in Lake Tahoe in an outside venue, he was incredibly courteous to guests but made sure we had a quiet location to conduct our ceremony. Once on site, he showed true attributes of a leader worked with the hotel coordinator and made sure our ceremony site was ready for us. I would highly recommend David Beronio for any wedding.

He did an amazing job on our ceremony. It was short and sweet, just how we like it. He also made suggestions that we ended up adding to our ceremony, such as giving a gift to my new stepson, and remembering our love ones who are already gone.
