Beautiful wedding!
Where do I start! We were a Covid wedding and had to reschedule for the next year. Keely and her team did an amazing job! Between Covid, smoke from the fires and looming thunderstorms, Keely was on top of it and reassured me all would be okay, and it did! The weather was beautiful and the venue was amazing. Her staff did an excellent job and the food was amazing! Thank you, Keely and the Lake Tahoe Golf Course for making our dream wedding come true!Where do I start! Amazing Reception 09/19!
We had our daughter's wedding reception here for 130 guests. Everything about it turned out great!! All of our details were orchestrated perfectly! The food and service were awesome! Our guests were actually asking for the recipes! The outdoor space for dancing under the lights was magical! We could not be happier with our choice of venue! Best Day Ever!
As my title said it, Best Day Ever! I loved having my wedding there, it was the perfect place. Food was SO GOOD! Everything was cooked perfectly. Bartenders were amazing. I would 100% recommend. They worked really hard to make the day perfect, even with the rain and snow that took place, IN MAY! But everything else went so well i hardly noticed. Our experience with the Lake Tahoe Golf Course was perfect. The views and service made it even more perfect. Kelly the event coordinator was super responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. She was really flexible with us as well- let us schedule our rehearsal during golfing times, and let me drop off all of our decor a few days before our wedding. The food that was catered by the venue was absolutely delicious! On the day of the wedding Kelly was there for some of the event and then Austyn took over. Austyn was amazing as well. I HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to get married in the South Lake Area not wanting a beach wedding. The prices are very reasonable for the service and mountain views you receive! The Lake Tahoe Golf Course will always hold a special place in our hearts. We had our wedding there last weekend, 12/2/17 and it was amazing! We had a small wedding, about 36 guests. Kelly was absolutely amazing and very flexible working with my crazy family. We choose the venue based on the well done inside, mountains outside, and mostly Kelly when we were touring venues. We went to 3 venues, and she was by far the most outgoing and friendly. She even put together all the centerpieces with the things we had shipped to her.
We had 3 chooses of where to have the ceremony, on the 10th tee, patio, or inside based on weather and what we wanted. It ended up being very windy so we had it on the patio. They let us go up until a few minutes before the ceremony to decide. There were so many places to take pictures around the campground and mountains in the background. The photographer found a place that wasn't windy so we could take our first look photos.
The venue was also the most budget friendly of all. We were first concerned that people would drive, or a bus would be expensive. We stayed at Aston lakeside and paid for the bus to drive people there and back for just $75 each way. Easy. The golf course closes in the winter, so we were the only ones there.
When dinner started, they make my husband's and I plate and bought it to where we were seated. Since we didn't eat lunch, it was very nice and started everyone sitting down. The food was delicious.

Our wedding day was so smooth thanks to the help of everyone that worked here, but Kelly Higgins was simply the best! From the first time we met her she was so helpful and sweet and just amazing to work with. She responded to all of my questions and emails and was so extremely helpful in guiding me through the big day. We enjoyed breathtaking views and great food and I do not have a single complaint. Everything was flawless. They made our special day that much easier and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Our wedding was amazing!!! We're from out of town so that made it hard to decide on a place for our venue but now we know we made the best decision. We had a small party with about 55 guest and the location was perfect for it!! Kelly was soo easy to work with and was always willing to meet with my husband and I anytime we had questions. The day of the event totally exceeded my expectations it was more than amazing. The staff was always going around serving our friends and family. The staff also paid close attention to my husband and I making sure we were well taken care of. I would totally recommend this place for any type of special event.Our wedding was amazing!!! Booking this venue was the best decision we could have made! We live in Los Angeles and had no problem choosing this site unseen and coordinating with the event planner from long distance. The views are GORGEOUS, the food is amazing, the staff is the most accommodating, and the price is the best you'll find. We did a lot of venue hunting and trust us, the value you receive for how much you pay for this venue is unmatched. We dropped off our decorations and they set it all up for us, what a relief that was!! Our family really enjoyed the complimentary rounds of golf to top it off:)Booking this venue was the best decision we could have made! We were so happy we chose Lake Tahoe Golf Course as our wedding venue! The ceremony site on the green with the creek and mountains in the background was beautiful. We had the reception on the patio, the weather was perfect and the venue was ideal. One reason I chose this venue was they had the patio with a tent as an outdoor option, but their indoor room is very nice as well, so I was happy to know that we had a back up option if the weather was not great. I worked with Stephanie at the gold course, and I really enjoyed working with her. She was professional and friendly. She recommended vendors that she had worked with in the past, and the ones she recommended turned out great. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the food was very good. The manager who helped coordinate everything was so helpful and reasonable when it came to the price. He gave us good deals, didn't over charge us for anything, and even gave us a couple extras for free. We got married here on April 28, 2018 and absolutely had a wonderful day! Let me first start by saying we had originally booked our wedding at another venue in the area, and do to a lack of communication from them we cancelled that venue and luckily got a refund for our large deposit. Then, we contacted the Lake Tahoe Golf Course and explained our riot bad experience. Kelly was able to completely accommodate us and our needs. She was easy to get a hold of and was friendly, polite and easy going. On our wedding day we did not have to do much and more or less showed up with some decorations and told them what we wanted out. For our wedding dinner we had Tri-tip, salmon, salad, bread, potatoes, and green beans, and it was all delicious! Our guests all loved it and were full! For rehearsal and most of the wedding, Austin was there to help for the entire day. She was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely friendly and took care of us the entire evening! We left our wedding feeling like every penny we spent was worth it! Our friends and family had s great time celebrating with us at the golf course which is seriously a beautiful place to get married! My husband and I got married recently, and we had our ceremony and reception at the Lake Tahoe Golf course. I’ve a lot of good things to say about the venue and the people who have helped us from the planning to the execution of our dream wedding. Let me start by saying the Kelly Higgins is awesome! She has helped us from start to finish. She has gone above and beyond to help us plan everything. My husband and I have been looking for an affordable but memorable venue anywhere in California, and when Kelly replied to our inquiry with the best offer out of all the places we called, we decided to go there and check the place out. We went there sometime in March, and it was one of those gloomy and rainy weather days. Kelly, who was also feeling under the weather, still was able to meet up with us despite feeling sick and driving through the rain. We ended up liking the venue and the plans that they offered. Kelly has helped us tremendously as we plan our wedding, including making recommendations and answering every question that we had (And we had a lot of questions). Kelly also has been flexible with all the changes that we had made throughout these times. She also has helped us get through our ceremony. Kudos to Kelly.
We also would like to give a shout out to Austyn and Tara (main Captain, and bartender, respectively). They are very accommodating and are sensitive to all our and our guests’ needs.
Lastly, I would like to say that the venue was gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the patio and the reception in the dining hall. It was overcast when we had our wedding, so it wasn’t warm yet the backdrop of the mountains made it worth it.

Susie, their new event manager, was fantastic in helping with everything. Could not have pulled it off without her.
There were a few small things that didn't go as planned... the table overlays didn't get put on, and the sheet cake wasn't announced to be pre-cut and served in the back of the clubhouse. Bottles of wine were also opened prior to others being finished, so we had a case of already opened wine to take home.

I grew up in south lake tahoe and chose to get married at the golf course because of the beautiful location. The service from the staff was great and the food was liked by all. The photos from our wedding are so amazing with the river, mountains, and the bridge. I will start this review by saying I did not have my wedding here. When I was considering this location, we attended their Open House where we they had a food tasting and the food was not good. I later requested my money back and they refused, even though they had another bride-to-be who wanted to have her wedding the same date. Long story short, they were not flexible and refund to refund me.I will start this review by saying I did not have my wedding here. When I was considering this location, we attended their Open House where we they had a food tasting and the food was not good. I would not recommend this place. I do not even know where to begin. Our wedding was on 8/25/2018 a day that should have been one of the most amazing days of our lives. Kelly the event coordinator was rude since day 1. However, I decided to book with them regardless & excusing her for having a bad day or something.
Our wedding was suppose to be outdoors in the patio, however, everything was set up indoors except for the dance floor.
Our linens were suppose to be navy with ivory napkins and we got ivory linens & navy napkins.
I arrived at the venue the day of our wedding at around 3pm to find out our wedding was indoors & the linens were not what we’d asked for. We spent 11,000 on this venue (with only 80 guests) to not have what we asked for & what was written in paper. When my MOH told Kelly that this is not what we asked for. She told her everything was suppose to be outdoors. Kelly then responded very rude and unprofessional stating(I quote),” If you want an out door wedding then move everything outside & do it yourself!”
I was in tears! This was 1hr before my guest started to arrive... nothing absolutely NOTHING was set how we had planned.
I told Kelly multiple times that Everything was outdoors. I was in complete shock after hearing what she had told my MOH.At this point in tears,I had to pull myself together before going over & to talk to her.I told her I had been extremely patient with her since day one, yet I kept getting a sassy attitude from her that frankly I didn’t deserve. Much less on the day of the wedding. Kelly left without saying a word after our ceremony(she said she was leaving after dinner yet she left earlier without notice).She was unprofessional, she looked like she had just woken up the day of my wedding.
She literally ruined our wedding.
A day I can NEVER get back.
I tried to make the best of it. Considering I was marrying the love of my life.
