Beautiful Venue!
We had our wedding reception here and it was gorgeous inside. I loved the stone walls and the bistro lighting. There was a deck on the lake for pictures which were some of my favorites. Jodi was very easy to work with and communicated well. We hired the day of coordinator, Lanette and she was so helpful greeting our vendors and getting everything set up since we were getting married in a church and taking pictures. We didn’t have to worry about hardly anything thanks to her. This venue was a great price and fit within our budget. -

Taylor Sent on 09/24/2018From the Moment we toured this venue we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The stone walls and fireplace give a cozy feel and can work with any style of decor.
We also used the garden for our ceremony and it was everything I had dreamed of.
Lanette, the coordinator, was Wonder Woman. We can’t say enough good things about her. She worked her butt off to ensure that our wedding went off without a hitch and we are forever grateful! -

Brynne Sent on 05/23/2018We had such a great experience with Jodi and with the Lake Shore Plaza space. The building is perfect for an intimate romantic setting without feeling small. There is also a huge kitchen available which we definitely took advantage of! Charlie, the decorator, helped make the space even more beautiful and was so fun to work with. She helped us stay within our budget but still get the most out of our money. Jodi was easy to work with and very flexible. She provided us with excellent recommendations for how to set up the space.
All in all, this place is really a hidden gem. It’s beautiful, unique and affordable....a combination that is hard to come by!

Jodi goes above and beyond to provide a beautiful space that won't break the bank. I could not be anymore pleased with my experience with Jodi and Lake Shore Plaza. Seriously, don't ignore this space. It is absolutely excellent and so is Jodi. -

Kristie Sent on 09/14/2017We used this venue for my bridal shower and it was absolutely perfect! The space was clean when we got there, and they even offered to leave the decorations (string lighting, and some drapery/fabric) from a wedding the night before at no extra charge, which was awesome! Additionally, we brought our own decorations such as signs, painted wine bottles, table cloths, some items for the fireplace mantel, etc. The kitchen area is huge, and the space is large enough that we could accommodate an area for tables and food, and leave a more open area for the kids to play and to have a little DIY photo area. We were able to bring our own food and drinks and use their fridges and oven AND ICE MACHINE! They were super easy to get ahold of for us to come tour the space additional times as needed, she even gave us a printed blank layout of the space so we could try to plan ahead! Overall great place to have any type of event! We had about 60 guests and it was spacious without looking too big! -

Melissa Sent on 05/03/2017We had our wedding reception at Lake Shore and cannot say enough good things about it. The venue is beautiful. Jodi's list of preferred vendors was a great help. All of them that we used were top-notch. We received numerous compliments on the space and had a blast! -

Would totally do again!
Lakeshore was so awesome to us. We were looking for a place that wouldn't totally break the bank, but still looked beautiful. The stone walls and fireplace were absolutely perfect for our Christmas wedding. The staff was so helpful and I would recommend the day of coordinator - she made the day run so smoothly. Love, love, love!!!!! -

Lake Shore Plaza has a beautiful space and so many spaces for photos. there is a small lovely garden across the street, large grass tree lined lawn as an option for an outdoor ceremony, spacious indoor room for the reception, ceremony could easily be held indoors as well and be beautiful, and it is so close to the lake you can get the most wonderful photos without having to travel or interrupt your plans. The bistro lighting and fireplace really make the space feel warm, the catering policy is open and the kitchen available for use is massive, I could go on and on. The only real con is a lack of get-ready rooms, but there is a cottage next door available for rent. The place is very reasonable, $2000 for a Saturday even on a major holiday. Their decorator is also very reasonable with a $1000 package to fully decorate the space with all of her decor including but not limited to drapery, uplighting, florals, signage, centerpieces, etc. -
Becca Sent on 04/24/2018We had our event booked for another venue. We found out that venue was shut down for health code violations 3 days before the event and wanted to cry! This was one of the few places that got back to me and was willing to work with us to figure everything out. So grateful that we were able to find this place and will definitely consider it again!

Overall, very easy to work with, but sometimes lacked communication. The space itself is intimate and I would recommend for wedding parties 100 guests and under. The field located next to the space worked perfectly for our ceremony as well. -
