Where to even begin? We got married 10/25/25 at LMCC and it was a perfect day, but the high-quality service began a year before during our first meeting with Blake who became our point-person for every detail of the big day including any question we had, day-of coordination, down the aisle, at the party, and even the next morning when we needed to collect our decor. We felt unbelievably supported by the team at LMCC - Blake, Karen (who handled billing and all the finite details), and Amber (who handled decor and venue set up). We're truly convinced that this team of woman could run the world with how efficient they all were - they were also kind, responsive, and professional.
The natural second point is the value, as with this team in charge there's no need to hire outside an outside vendor for coordination. Even if you don't meticulously plan and explain where every decor item goes like I did, you'll be a good hands. Additionally, there was SO much food - and it was all incredible. We heard this countless times from our guests. The location is of course, stunning and the surrounding town is super charming. The reception room with the string lights - gorgeous. There's also ample space to get ready at the venue which was really important to me, I think helps the day flow better.
Weddings are just expensive, but we truly feel like we got an incredibly high value for the price we paid at LMCC and would recommend anyone getting married to strongly consider this venue :)

The most magical wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club
Our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club was absolutely perfect, and so much of that is thanks to Blake. She was there every step of the way—so kind, attentive, and truly brought my entire vision to life, making everything feel seamless and stress-free.
Karen and Amber were also wonderful and so helpful with answering emails throughout the planning process.
The food was absolutely delicious—our guests are still talking about it—and the views were just breathtaking.
I can’t recommend Lake Mohawk Country Club enough, especially with Blake by your side. She made our day everything we dreamed of and more—we truly couldn’t have done it without her.

Our Wedding
We had the absolute wedding of our dreams at Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, New Jersey. From the very beginning of the planning process all the way through our wedding night, everything was perfect. The entire team was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful—which made a huge difference, especially since my husband and I were doing all of the planning ourselves.
Whether I reached out via email or phone, someone was always available to respond quickly, clearly, and with genuine care. That level of responsiveness took away so much of the typical stress that comes with wedding planning and gave us the peace of mind we didn’t know we needed.
Blake and Karen were the main people guiding us throughout the process, and we truly can’t thank them enough. Their support was everything. Blake even helped us run through the ceremony beforehand since we weren’t having a rehearsal dinner. When the moment came to walk down the aisle, she was right there, helping to calm my nerves. It's those little moments that make all the difference—and they absolutely did.
The ceremony by the lake was breathtaking. Surrounded by water, nature, and the warmth of our loved ones—it felt like something out of a storybook. And the ballroom? Magical. With soft string lights overhead and the elegant design of the space, it truly felt like we were in a movie.
We are still getting compliments on the food! Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared by the Lake Mohawk culinary team. People are still talking about how impressed they were.
Throughout the evening, the staff checked on us regularly to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. They even handled all of the décor setup—and honestly, I couldn’t have done it better myself. Seeing the room brought to life with our vision (and none of the stress) was such a special moment.
We couldn’t be more grateful to Lake Mohawk Country Club for helping make this day so smooth, so beautiful, and so incredibly memorable. We would recommend this venue without hesitation to anyone looking for a stunning lakeside setting, amazing food, and an exceptional team to support you every step of the way.

Perfect venue for a perfect day
Lake Mohawk is one of a kind. The views on the lake in addition to the stunning ballroom are hard to beat. Blake and her team were very flexible in assisting us to have our perfect wedding day. It was obvious that every detail mattered at Lake Mohawk and it was no different when it comes to their food. We knew from the food tasting that it would be difficult to choose from such great options, and our guests were buzzing about cocktail hour and the entrees. We received so many compliments and we couldn’t agree with them more. Lake Mohawk offers a variety of add-ons that allow you to truly bring your vision to life. One of those add-ons included the bride getting ready in the bridal tower with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the lake, which was the perfect way to start the day and a perfect space for getting ready. There are endless spots around Lake Mohawk that provide a great opportunity for photos, including the dock where we did our first look. We are so grateful to the staff who helped us from our contract signing to our wedding day. Lake Mohawk will forever hold a special place in our heart.

LMCC for your dream wedding!
Amber, Blake & Karen are the dream team and Lake Mohawk Country Club is the dream wedding venue!! They went above and beyond to take care of us, answer our pre-wedding questions, and worked with us on so many small details to make sure our wedding day was perfect. Our guests could not stop complimenting on how amazing the food tasted and how beautiful the scenery was. The bridal tower and grooms den were the perfect spaces to relax and get ready in the morning and the cocktail hour had a magical indoor and outdoor feel. Plenty of places to get great photos throughout the day in and around the venue. We truly had an amazing experience with Lake Mohawk Country Club and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for their perfect wedding day!

Dream Venue!!!
We had the most amazing experience using LMCC as our wedding venue! We had the wedding of our dreams and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue. The lake views are absolutely stunning, the bridal suite and groom’s den were perfect for getting ready, and the ballroom was the perfect rustic elegance we were looking for. Our guests have complemented how lovely everything was, how delicious the food tasted and overall what a great time they had!
Karen, Amber & Blake are an absolute dream team! They put so much thought and dedication into making our wedding day PERFECT. From answering ALL of our pre-wedding questions and being accommodating to all our requests, to setting up all the details, keeping us calm, and checking in on us the day of, they truly do go above and beyond!

Best Wedding Ever!
My husband and I worked with LMCC for about a year to plan our wedding. Throughout every conversation, they demonstrated their commitment to making the dreams of our big day a reality. Blake, Amber, and Karen are unmatched in their level of service and were handling everything with absolute grace and care on the day of. The team at LMCC made us feel completely supported for a wedding with over 100 guests and worked tirelessly so that we could not have to worry about a single detail on our wedding day. The vendors they recommend and maintain positive relationships with are of a high caliber and made the daunting planning process that much easier. We used Around Town Entertainment for our band at LMCCs recommendation, and it was the best decision we could have made.

Amazing Venue
Blake and her team were absolutely incredible throughout the planning. They are so flexible with customizing elements to make the night tailored to you. This was especially important for us wanting to dedicate the meals and customize dishes. Blake has a culinary background and was so helpful customizing the meals and being realistic with what will be served well. We didn’t hire a wedding planner and relied on the skills from LMCC Team. They helped us plan, coordinate, and execute our wedding night, including setting up decorations and helping us with gaps we didn’t consider. Amber was also such a pleasure helping us with our table layout and bustling my dress the night of the wedding (thank you Amber for knowing when I needed it!).
I had a lot of people coming from CA and everyone was blown away with by the night. Such a beautiful venue with the beach ceremony. Only way the night could have gone better is if we extended the reception. We did a 3:30p ceremony in June which means the wedding ended at 9p when it’s just getting dark. It would have been fun to dance and enjoy more of the night time. Couldn’t recommend the venue enough. Very reasonable pricing as well for what they offer.

Amazing wedding venue
We cannot recommend LMCC enough! We have a lot of reasons for why this was a great place for us but most notable include:
1. Beautiful and functional venue: As soon as we toured, we loved walking along the boardwalk and seeing the lakefront beach ceremony space, in addition to the amazing greenery areas along the way. The reception space was also perfect with the hardwood floors and huge windows to see outdoors. The getting ready areas onsite were also perfect for both me and my husband- lots of glam space for my bridesmaids and I, as well as games for the groomsmen.
2. Amazing food & drinks: all of our guests RAVED about our food and cocktails both at cocktail hour and reception.
3. Caring, professional staff: Karen, Blake & Amber were the main staff helping us with planning our day and they were wonderful to work with! As someone who is naturally anxious, they were great at quelling any of my fears or anxiety and were always great with their replies about my many questions. When we had additional special requests, they were always thoughtful in trying to figure out how to make things work. On the big day, they were all there to help support us and we could trust that they would help run the day smoothly. We cannot thank them enough!

I loved having our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club! We got married in September and couldn't have had a more enjoyable experience. Throughout the planning process and day of, Karen and her team were so responsive, attentive, and accomodating. Our guests RAVED about the gorgeous venue, the amazing cocktail hour spread, and the drinks. Genni Klimek was our bartender, and she was an absolute gem! We received so many comments about how wonderful she was.
Something to consider for the dinner is that the main course came out quite a bit later after the salad course. It is understandable as they take entree orders tableside, but it did cause some confusion between us, the DJ, and venue. I wish I knew this ahead of time to plan for it. Ultimately, would still highly recommend this venue!

Perfect day at a perfect venue
Lake Mohawk Country Club was the only venue my now husband and I went to look at. We knew as soon as we got there that we wanted to get married there. The location is breath taking and luckily for us we got married on a 70 and sunny spring day. We both got ready on site, and had our ceremony on site. It was a dream, everything about the day was perfect. The food, the service, and everything in between. I would recommend LMCC to everyone.

I choose LMCC for my special day just by looking at images and reading reviews online. The minute I seen the venue and the grounds, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. I went to visit one other venue before visiting here and once I came to LMCC, nothing compared and I couldn't get it off my mind. Not only is the wedding room beautiful but the whole day is beautifully planned out. The women can get ready in the Tower Suite as early as 8am (at an additional charge ) and the men can get ready in the den (at an additional charge). Being able to get married on the sand, by the lake made me feel like I was getting married at a destination other than NJ. Deb was great during booking and then Alexis took over from there. She was absolutely fantastic and my go to throughout the whole planning process. She was very helpful and personable. She answered all my questions whenever I had them and really tried to work with me in every way she could. I was able to drop off my decor 2 days before and the day of, it was all set up for me. They even decorated the tower suite for me (with items I brought). The day of was a little hectic and I wished I had Alexis by my side the whole day but Amber was there during the reception to help when needed. The food was delicious and everyone is still saying it is the best wedding they have been to. One advice for future couple is to make sure that you eat during cocktail. They do put food aside for you but if you're busy, they will not come find you to make sure you eat. They will leave it for you on a table set aside for the couple. I wish I could relive the day and do it all again. It was everything I ever dreamt of for my wedding and it was all brought to life at LMCC. You will be able to do a tasting and then come in for a details meeting prior to wedding to sort all things out. I never felt rushed on the phone or at the meeting, Alexis gave me all the time I needed. I greatly recommend LMCC for your special day. You will not be disappointed.

If you're looking for a beautiful, romantic and charming lakefront wedding venue, look no further than Lake Mohawk Country Club! Having grown up in Lake Mohawk, it was the running joke that I had no choice but to get married there one day. Well when the time came to look at wedding venues, I searched far and wide, but none seemed to quite compare to what LMCC has to offer. Beautiful scenery, a gorgeous ballroom, only 1 wedding per day and friendly, helpful and accommodating staff.
From the first meeting with Alexis + Deb they went above and beyond to help make the vision for my wedding at LMCC come to life. They seemed to happily put up with me throughout two years of planning, countless emails, drop ins and meetings, no easy feat I'm sure!
As the wedding day approached Alexis + Amber were on top of everything and worked with me and my planner through multiple options of rain contingency plans as Hurricane Ian threatened to rain on our day.
On the day of, all of our planning and the thoroughness of the LMCC team paid off and we had the most perfect, stress-free, beautiful and rain free wedding at LMCC! Thank you Alexis, Amber, Deb, Greg & the entire LMCC team!

Having grown up in Sparta, NJ, I never thought I'd get married at Lake Mohawk Country Club. However, as my now husband, parents, and I looked at the beautiful Lake Mohawk Country Club, it quickly dawned on us that a one-of-a-kind venue was sitting right in our own backyard. From the day we chose our venue to the day we said I do, Alexis and the team at Lake Mohawk Country Club went above and beyond to make our wedding planning process as smooth as possible. Our friends and family are still talking about what an absolutely beautiful day it was and how unique the venue was. Alexis kindly arranged multiple tours of the venue for us so we could take pictures and envision the day, and any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly. The food at Lake Mohawk Country Club was absolutely delicious and there was ALOT of it! Our guests thought our happy hour might be the actual dinner as there were so many delightful bites to be had, but they were pleasantly surprised with the reception meal and desserts to close out the night! We chose to get ready using the bridal suite and den which made such a difference for our entire wedding party. The setting of the country club right on historic and breathtaking Lake Mohawk made for photos we could have only wished for. We also had several toddlers in our wedding party and they also felt right at home. We don't have a single regret in choosing Lake Mohawk Country Club as our wedding venue and would do so again in a heartbeat. Truly a class act and the absolutely best wedding experience. From the view, to the venue itself, to the service and the food. Everything was absolutely amazing and so delicious! Our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The bartenders were so friendly and the staff also. they made wedding planning so easy for me and the day itself was so seamless and perfect! Lake mohawk is absolutely amazing and we are both still on cloud 9 from our wedding day.

Magical wedding at LMCC
Our wedding at LMCC was absolutely magical! The first time we met with Deb and toured the venue we knew this was the place. The positive happy energy along with the stunning lake views were everything we were looking for. Communication throughout the planning phase was extremely organized and easy with the LMCC team. On our wedding day we were in great hands and all we had to do was enjoy the moment! The beach wedding, boardwalk cocktail hour and reception were even more beautiful with all of our friends and family there not to mention an absolutely stunning sunset! Thank you LMCC!!!

LMCC was the perfect place for our wedding!
We had our wedding at Lake Mohawk on 9.10.2022 and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The staff were amazing - so accommodating, flexible, and helpful throughout the whole planning process and on the big day. The day went so smoothly thanks to the wonderful team we had helping us (thanks so much Alexis, Amber and Deb!) - we were truly able to enjoy the day without having to worry about any of the logistics as the staff handled everything so well. The venue is so beautiful and provides an awesome experience for your guests. This place is truly a hidden gem and I am so happy we decided to have our wedding here! Thank you LMCC!

Amazing experience!
We had our wedding at the Lake Mohawk Country Club on July 17, 2022 and everything was perfect and exactly the way we wanted!
Due to the pandemic we had to reschedule our wedding a couple of times, but the whole staff at the Lake Mohawk Country Club was very flexible, accommodating and understanding whenever we had to make any changes.
Alexis was our main contact person throughout the whole planning process and she was always very kind, responsive, patient and a pleasure to work with.
On the wedding day, everything went super smooth and the whole staff went above and beyond to make sure that all our requests were taken care of - we didn’t have to worry about anything and could simply enjoy our day!
Everyone at the Lake Mohawk Country Club was very helpful, friendly, attentive to all the details and provided an amazing service to us and to our guests.
We received many compliments from our guests saying that the food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and the views from the venue were beautiful. We are so happy we chose the Lake Mohawk Country Club as our venue and would highly recommend them!

Amazing Venue!
The Lake Mohawk Club was the perfect venue for wedding. Deb, Alexis, and Amber were all so incredibly helpful and great to work with while we were planning our wedding. Anything we wanted they were able to provide and they were always quick to respond to an email or call. I asked for a custom build your own cannoli station during the reception and they delivered! It was everything I wanted and the guests loved it. The venue is also so beautiful and photographed amazing from every spot. Our ceremony on the beach and photos on the boardwalk were picture perfect. The day of the wedding everything went super smooth with the team at the Lake Mohawk Club handling everything seamlessly. The food is was also high quality and delish! The reception room was so beautifully decorated with string lights and they were even able to accommodate a second bar by the dance floor. I highly recommend the Lake Mohawk Club not only for the gorgeous location but also for the professional and dedication of the amazing ladies working there!

A Wonderful Wedding Experience!
Our wedding at the Lake Mohawk Country Club and the entire experience leading up to it was wonderful! Deb, Amber, and Alexis were extremely helpful during the planning process. They promptly and thoroughlly answered all of our questions and were such pleasures to work with. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and our guests told us the cocktail hour was so stocked they thought it was the dinner! To say my wedding experience at Lake Mohawk Country Club was spectacular is an understatement! Everyone deserves to have their wedding planning and execution run as well as my husband and I did.
To start, the women running this venue are absolutely fantastic!! They have become like family to us. They are kind, personable, understanding and willing to do whatever they can. From the moment we met them, we knew we could put everything in their hands and trust them. And boy, were we right!
LMCC provides a beautiful setting on the lake. Guests were stunned by the beauty surrounding them and said it was the most beautiful ceremony and reception space they've been to. The food was amazing. The service staff not only worked hard, but did it with SMILES on their faces. Everyone says hello!
Do yourself a favor and check out LMCC. The coordinators, the staff, the setting and the venue itself are superb. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!

Absolutely perfect wedding
I can NOT say enough AMAZING things about the LMCC and their incredible team! I am so grateful to Alexis, Deb, Greg, and ALL of the outstanding individuals who mace our wedding there absolutely perfect. We initially had a 2020 wedding date scheduled, and they allowed us to postpone to a 2021 date (another Saturday) with NO ISSUES. The entire process and communication was seamless, from the tasting to the details - they handled it to perfection. We were there for the whole day: getting ready in the Bridal Tower was beautiful for photos, the beach ceremony was incredible. We opted for an extended cocktail hour (highly recommended! - food was incredible!) which was a great way for guests to enjoy time on the beautiful boardwalk mingling. They were accomodating of every request we'd made and truly made our day feel absolutely perfect. I couldn't imagine a better venue or a better group of people to work with. Our guests still rave about the venue and how amazing everything was. Highly recommended to check out LMCC!!

The most magical day!
I don’t even know where to begin! Lake Mohawk Country Club is the most beautiful venue – the view is unparalleled and provides the perfect backdrop for a truly magical day! My husband and I had a wedding planned for January of 2021 at a different venue. Due to the uncertainty with covid and having recently moved to the area, we decided to cancel our original plans, get married with just our immediate families and have a wedding celebration at LMCC on Labor Day Weekend. Having previously planned a wedding with a different venue, we can honestly say that the level of service that we received from LMCC was exceptional (specifically Deb, Alexis, Kati and Amber)! We really wanted to do something a bit more laid back considering we were already married but didn’t have anything specific in mind. Deb had suggested a BBQ theme and when we realized the Saturday of LDW was available we were completely sold. The entire planning process was seamless and Deb and Alexis made it such a collaborative experience that I would be beaming with excitement after every phone call we had. Because it was going to be BBQ, we really wanted to do a sit down family style service for dinner. With the delta variant creating concern over stricter restrictions potentially being imposed on self service, Deb preemptively reached out to suggest coming up with a different plan so that we weren’t stressed over making last minute major changes regarding the dinner service. We felt strongly about not having chef attended buffet stations considering the number of guests attending and Deb proposed a perfect solution to allow us to still have a sit down plated meal with all of the options we had wanted served family style. Deb, Alexis, Amber and Kati are rockstars at what they do – they are quick on their feet, creative, accommodating, and truly dedicated to curating a wedding day that is representative of the bride and groom and their vision. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to create the most incredible day for us that exceeded every expectation we ever could have imagined. We could not have been happier or more impressed with the experience we had with LMCC and highly recommend them to anyone in search of a perfect venue!

Run - don't walk - to book LMCC!
Words truly can't do this venue justice. We booked LMCC for our wedding almost three years ago and, after a year-long postponement due to COVID, we finally had our magical day last week. Deb, Alexis and Amber were amazing through it all - from our original booking, to our postponement, to working with us on all details leading up to the day, we couldn't have been treated better. Deb at times was more therapist than vendor, and I now consider Alexis a BFF! ;)
We had some unique last minute requests they were more than happy to handle, and when the day came, even WE were blown away by how perfectly it all came together. I highly recommend a beach ceremony and cocktail hour at sunset - it's a view unlike any other I've seen . Every one of our guests has been raving non-stop over the last week about the food, the beauty of the venue, and the FUN that was had.
If I could have a million weddings, I'd choose LMCC a million times over. Run, don't walk, to book LMCC for your wedding / next event - you won't regret it!

Wedding of my dreams
Deb, Alexis, Amber and team made my ultimate vision and dreams come true this May! Haven gotten engaged right before COVID and then trying to plan during this time added an extra, and difficult, level of detail in which I had to be thoughtful of in terms of planning our wedding. The team at Lake Mohawk Country Club was beyond amazing in terms of communication, advice, and making sure, despite ALL odds, I would still have a wonderful wedding. I can honestly say I had little to NO stress, even during COVID, with their communication with me and going above and beyond in all areas COVID and otherwise.
I am happy to say I did in fact have the wedding of my dreams (i wish we could do it again!). My guests continue to rave about the venue aesthetic, the lake, the service, the cocktail hour and cocktail hour food (which was plentiful and very diverse!), and what my guests are saying was the BEST dinner they had ever had a wedding.
My husband and I chose to do the Den and Bridal Tower to get ready in morning of and I felt pampered and almost like royalty! I am still on cloud nine and honestly cannot think of one thing that could have gone better - it was BEYOND my greatest expectations.

A dream venue with amazing staff
We cannot thank Lake Mohawk enough for being the backbone of our wedding planning and assembling our vision for the day perfectly and professionally. The coordinators of that day, especially Deb Graybill, were extremely responsive and communicative with EVERY change that evolved in a pandemic planning era. They were up front about what pandemic restrictions would look like but were as flexible as you could possibly be so as to allow us to still celebrate our wedding as close to our original plan as possible while being safe from a COVID perspective. On the day of our wedding, I was truly blown away by how the staff listened to every thought I had when it came to decor (even details I had forgot Id mentioned or mentioned in passing) and what we had in mind for the day. They were unbelievably organized and every single employee was kind and hardworking. I can truly say that in a time of so much uncertainty, Lake Mohawk Country Club team went above and beyond to provide as much support and reassurance as possible and I can also say that the day went a million times better than I could have dreamed. I am forever grateful for LMCC for executing the perfect day and paying mind to every detail that makes a wedding special. They are a WELL oiled wedding machine and it shows! Thank you LMCC for all your hard work and going above and beyond in a pandemic for Mike and I, we would recommend this venue to any prospective couple.

Great location and very accommodating during the pandemic
The venue is absolutely beautiful. They worked out a great plan for us to have our entire event there - ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the boardwalk, an amazing waterski show, reception outside under a tent and the after party inside for karaoke. Many of our guests shared that it was their best wedding experience.

A Dream Wedding amidst our crazy Covid world
I had my wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club on August 14, 2020. While we originally chose this venue Pre-pandemic due to the stunning rustic ballroom with vaulted ceilings, we were not able to take advantage. In the end, this ended up being a blessing, as the outdoor option we were offered proved to be breathtaking. My guests are still messaging me about how amazing the venue was. These are obviously crazy times, but multiple people from the venue were with us every step of the way. We originally booked with Alexis, who was also my day of coordinator. Her attitude and attention to detail was spot on throughout the entire planning process as well as the wedding day. Deborah also helped walk us through the menu in detail since Covid basically cancelled our tasting. She was also extremely positive and helpful in terms of finalizing what would work as a floor plan and dance floor. We even ended up moving our rehearsal dinner to the venue which was decorated beautifully without any of my personal wedding decor needed! The bridal suite and Den (for the guys) were the perfect touches to make the whole day feel special. We were attended to with food and drinks all day, and had plenty of space both inside and outside to get ready with ease and feel comfortable. Our ceremony was held on the beach and offered plenty of space for our 90 guests to feel comfortable. My husband and I are so grateful, not only that we were able to make our wedding work out in these crazy times, but also for initially choosing this venue! I cannot get over how accommodating LMCC was in addition to the amazing views we were able to enjoy all day and night. Our wedding gave us, and our guests, a vacation from the current crazy world - multiple people commented on how it felt like the pandemic didn’t even exist that day. The venue had safety measures in place in a way that flowed smoothly and didn’t take away from the overall beauty or cocktail hour and reception schedule. I highly recommend this venue to all future brides!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club in October of 2019. From the moment we stepped foot into LMCC we knew that this is where we wanted to exchange our vows and throw a phenomenal party! The entire staff at LMCC felt like family and were amazing with responding to any and all questions we had! We truly felt like part of the LMCC family on our wedding day! Dream Wedding Venue!
We got married at Lake Mohawk Country Club on August 31, 2019 and it was absolutely perfect. Deb and her team made sure that everything went smoothly from the first meeting all the way through the wedding. They made sure we had everything we needed the day of and were more than accommodating to our requests (even last minute ones)! We used the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Den and I am so happy we did. It was so convenient to get ready onsite and we were well taken care of the entire day. Deb and her team also handled getting all of our vendors setup when they arrived which removed any added stress to us and really allowed us to fully enjoy the day. The food was so delicious, our guests are still raving about it a few months later. We couldn’t be happier to have had our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club!

Best Day Ever!
We got married on September 21st at the Lake Mohawk Country Club! Our wedding was perfect! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was exactly how we envisioned. All of the staff especially Deb, Amber, Alexis and Greg truly made us feel like family!! We had many special requests throughout the planning process and the staff accommodated us however possible. Getting ready in the bridal suite was a dream come true, I felt like a princess. All of the groomsmen had a blast getting ready in the grooms den. The outdoor beach ceremony and cocktail hour on the lake was breathtaking. We loved every minute of our wedding day and wish we could relive it. The Best Day EVER!
Hi Deb, Alexis, and Amber,
I just wanted to send my deepest thanks and gratefulness for the beautiful wedding that we had on this past Saturday evening. Everyone on your staff did an exceptional job and Paul and I were over the moon with our wedding. Please extend my personal thanks to Elise and Heather, too!
Our families cannot stop talking about the food and how gorgeous everything was. We are beyond grateful and despite my focus on all the details (I get into work mode at times) I love you guys SO much!! Thank you for making our day so special. The Wedding of Our Dreams
I could not have imagined getting married anywhere else besides Lake Mohawak Country Club! I started off my day by getting ready in their gorgeous bridal suite, and I am so glad that I did. They provided us with beautiful views of the lake, perfect pictures, and unlimited food and mimosas!
Our wedding was in June of 2019 and everything was perfect... until there was a brief downpour and we could no longer have cocktail hour outside. I was so upset. However, our Maitre D' for the night, Amber, did the most amazing job moving the cocktail hour inside and making it almost as beautiful as having it outside. Half way through the cocktail hour, it cleared up and guest started to move outside to see the beautiful views. Amber and the servers accommodated those guests by bringing the passed hors d'oeuvres outside for the reminder of cocktail hour. They were amazing!
Everything else from the food, to the people, to the venue was perfect. Deborah help my husband and I plan everything for our big day and I never once felt stressed that something would go wrong. She made sure our vision of our perfect wedding was carried out to the fullest extent. Amber checked in on us to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if we needed anything at all throughout the day. The food was delicious and many of our guests commented that it was the best sit down dinner that they ever had at a wedding. The beef upgrade was worth every penny! Lastly, the venue provided the most beautiful pictures and memories that I could have ever imagined. After it rained, the photographer took us outside and we walked up and down the boardwalk. The flowers, lake, and venue were absolutely stunning. I felt like a princess the entire day.
I would HIGHLY recommend booking Lake Mohawk as your wedding venue. We had guests from all over the country and many said that this was the best wedding they have ever attended! Thank you LMCC for giving us with the wedding of our dreams!!!

Beautiful venue
Lake Mohawk Country Club (LMCC) is a wonderful place to get married, especially for my husband and I who wanted a more rustic and elegant vibe to our wedding. The staff are wonderful, kind, and responsive. You are their only wedding that day, so they give you the attention you would want on your wedding day. The let you customize the day so it is truly reflective of what you and your soon to be spouse would want. The lake does not disappoint in the slightest and provides a serene, elegant, and beautiful background for all of your own professional pictures and well as your guests' own pictures. The menu, layout of the reception room, and decorations can all be customized to what you would want. 5/5 we definitely recommended LMCC! Thanks Alexis!

Dream Wedding Venue
I couldn’t have wished for a better venue for my dream wedding. We had our ceremony on the beach and the view was incredible. Everyone was so nice and accommodating to make our day special. The bridal suite was absolutely beautiful which made getting ready extra fun. We chose an oval layout for our reception which gave every table a dance floor view. We keep getting comments on how fun and beautiful our wedding was. If you’re looking for a venue with water views and a beaufuil indoor reception, LMCC is the venue for you!

Amazing venue and team - best in all of jersey!
The best wedding venue! I would not look any further if you are planning your wedding in New Jersey. LMCC has the most perfect setting on Lake Mohawk with a private boardwalk, and a beach area if you wish to have your wedding ceremony on the sands by the water like we did. Our entire planning experience from start to the wedding day, to the day after was seamless with the help of Alexis, who an amazing event professional. The entire team was incredible! They gave us a run through of everything to help us plan, and were very flexible when we wanted to talk or come see the space. Communication was awesome! We had no worries with food, beverage or the setup because they did everything to our liking. Thank you for making our dream wedding came true.

Gorgeous! Would not change a thing
The venue was gorgeous! Our pictures came out amazing with the view as our background. Our guests had so many compliments from the views, food to the service! The staff was so accommodating with all my need. It started to feel like a second family. Best party was the groom’s den for the guys. They had such a blast throughout the day. The bridal tower had everything we needed to get ready. The pictures from upstairs were magic. Highly recommend getting married on the beach!

Lmcc dream wedding
My fiancé and I were familiar with the Sparta area and we love that it was such a quaint nice town! I had seen pictures online of Lake Mohawk Country Club and was instantly drawn to the beauty of the lake and breathtaking views of the venue. As soon as we got engaged I requested an appointment to tour the venue. We visited in January 2018 and it was below freezing with snow on the ground.. even with the brutal winter weather I could see how incredible of a venue this was and I immediately knew this is where I wanted our dream wedding to be. We met Alexis who was beyond friendly & personable. She made us feel so comfortable and walked us around giving us every detail we needed to make our decision. Without hesitation we set our wedding date!! We couldn’t even see the lake with the snow covered ground but something about the atmosphere was so amazing. We knew we wanted a venue that was different & unique and Lake Mohawk Country Club was the perfect choice for us!!
We set our wedding date for April 2019 for a gorgeous spring day on the lake! We couldn’t wait to start the wedding planning and every detail we choose revolved around this beautiful rustic venue! I had envisioned the day in my head and all of it was becoming a reality as the planning continued! Alexis was so helpful and any a question I had she responded right away! She was so incredible to work with and she made the planning process so much easier and less stressful!! She kept us informed of everything during the entire process! We had our food tasting a couple of months before the wedding and we were in awe of what an incredible job the venue did!!! It was so beautifully put together and we ate more in 2hrs than ever thought possible!! We were so excited to sample everything and then soon after picked out our menu!!! We also worked with Amber on the layout of the ballroom.. any changes I needed she made sure they were incorporated right away!!! She is so sweet and helped so much in the planning process!!!
The day of the wedding was a dream come true!! Alexis and Amber made sure had everything we needed from the moment we arrived with our bridal party to the venue! The staff was so pleasant and friendly and went out of their way to cater to us! They provided lunch to the bridal party that was this incredible spread of food & drinks! The bridal suite is INCREDIBLE… and the groom’s den was perfect for all the guys to spend the day! The weather turned out to be PERFECT and we were so excited our ceremony could take place on the beach! It was such a gorgeous setting and the cocktail hour on the boardwalk was breathtaking! Alexis, Amber and the entire Lake Mohawk team set up my ballroom beautifully!! I was in tears when I walked in and saw it all decorated! We have had almost every guest tell us that is the best wedding they went to and the venue is so beautiful! We even had some guests say they want to renew their vows there! They were all so shocked at how amazing the staff was…anything that was needed was given to our guests right away. Amber kept asking if I was OK throughout the night and really made me feel so at ease! My dream wedding came to life and I will always be so grateful to the entire staff, especially Alexis and Amber for making my day perfect! I will miss so much working with them and I hope to have another event in the future at LMCC!!
I highly recommend Lake Mohawk Country Club to everyone!!!!! If you want a fairylike wedding.. this is the place!!

I can not say enough good things about Lake Mohawk Country Club and, particularly, the team at they have working there. Let's start with the venue. It is absolutely gorgeous! If you have good weather, the beach and the boardwalk are such a great option but don't worry if it rains... the inside is stunning! Tall ceilings, wood beams, Edison lights, etc. You get that rustic feel without going too far. The space fit our 150 guests without a problem and everyone had an amazing time.
The staff is incredible! I sent them far too many e-mails with questions and requests and they answered every one cheerfully, quickly and helpfully! They did so much on the day of the wedding that I never even thought of and they do it all with a smile. The food was great, the crew was fun, the environment was amazing. I LOVE this place!

I'm so glad I chose to have my wedding here, they went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met on my wedding day. They created a special menu with recipes that I requested and the food was nothing but amazing! While getting ready in the bridal suite they provided us breakfast lunch and endless champagne for me and my girls! One of my biggest fears was not being able to get married on the beach and due to the rain I was able to have half my ceremony inside and half outside! My day definitely did not go as planned but I wouldn't have changed anything looking back on my wedding day! My guests are still talking about how beautiful my wedding was and how much they loved my venue.

Blake, Amber and the whole team from the back of the house to the front of the house deserve more than 5 stars! My husband and I got married here on May 20th and planned it long distance from San Diego. The venue itself is absolutely breath taking. All of our guests, both local and distant, were amazed at it's beauty. Blake was accommodating to my flight schedule and any question I asked was answered with Yes or No Problem. The food, decor, staff, ... just everything was flawless. Our day ran so seamlessly and we couldn't have dreamt anything better. We were consistently checked in on to make sure we ate, had a drink, relaxed, danced, etc. There were no hiccups and it exceeded our expectations. The food was amaaaaazing! The cocktail hour blew us away and both proteins were cooked to perfection, a duet of salmon and flank steak. We're big foodies and were able to customize a few appetizers from family recipes. They nailed all of our requests. Not to mention the most adorable bridal suite with refreshments and whatever else we wanted. Blake promised me the day we met I would enjoy my wedding with no stress, from getting ready to leaving for the night... and she delivered. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day perfect!

Lake Mohawk Country Club was the perfect venue. We fell in love with the area before we were engaged so we knew the Country Club would be one of our venue choices. We had a very short time span to plan our wedding (4 months) and when we met with manager Blake Hargrave we knew the Country Club was the place. She put us completely at ease. The price was reasonable as well. Everybody raved about the venue and it's location. The event went off without a hitch thanks to Blake, Danny C (DJ), and Ben Hickey (Officiant). They are the wedding dream team. Choose Lake Mohawk Country Club with that team and your wedding will be, as one of our guests put it, "The best wedding ever!"

Choosing to have our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club was by far the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process.
I found this venue by luck. I hadn’t heard of Lake Mohawk, and I was checking it out in a whim with a friend, so I wasn’t expecting much. As soon as I walked in, I knew immediately that my search was over.
Walking in the door it looks like every other wedding venue. A room to the right, staircase going up. Once you’re up that staircase, it becomes something else.
When you get upstairs, you enter a beautiful, dark wood room with a bar. From there, you have three options: you can go forward to the boardwalk, to the left to the bridal tower, or to the right into the ballroom. I’ll start with the bridal tower.
The bridal tower is a two-floor suite. The first floor is a big air conditioned (this was important for our August wedding) room with views of the lake. There’s a big table in the middle where everyone can gather, and multiple spots where your makeup artist or hair dresser can set up. There’s also a private bathroom, which I used throughout the entire wedding. There’s an option to have lunch served to everyone, which I would highly recommend because it’s both delicious and very much needed with the craziness of the day.
We got married on the boardwalk overlooking the lake, and it was absolutely beautiful.
The ballroom. Nothing compares to this ballroom. I had been there multiple times while preparing for the wedding, and I was blown away by how incredible this room was when it was set up. The high ceilings, the view of the lake through that big window, how perfectly the staff spaced everything out was beyond what I had expected.
Finally, and the main reason that I will recommend this venue to anyone that I know without a second thought, are the people who made the night happen. Blake and Brandon made sure that everything went perfectly. They will be there for you from the second you walk in the door

What an amazing wedding day I had thanks to LMCC! Blake was fabulous from the first day we met. She really understands food and service. She also has a very calm and controlled demeanor, which helps out when things get a bit stressful on the wedding day. I completely trusted her throughout the process, and everything worked out beautifully. Brendan was an awesome help as well. He was on top of everything throughout the day and attended to us the entire time. I was so pleased with how everything turned out even though the weather wasn't entirely cooperative. We had a very windy and chilly day, but we were still able to have the ceremony outside. The servers and bartenders were friendly and accommodating. The newly renovated ballroom is gorgeous, and we received compliments on the venue all night long. I highly recommend LMCC for any occasion, but they truly know how to do unique and fun weddings right!

Wow! We were so impressed with LMCC! Blake and her team were amazing and made our planning process a piece of cake! They were so flexible and accommodating, no matter what we asked of them. Our wedding was in November so we had no idea what the weather was going to bring but the country club was ready for anything. We absolutely loved how this venue had both indoor and outdoor accommodations. The tents and heaters outside allowed our guests to watch the sunset while enjoying the amazing happy hour. The food was excellent and the servers were wonderful! From the adorable bridal suite, to the incredible sunset views over the lake, this venue is such a hidden gem! - Sarah and Casey

Amazing. Everything was incredible, I wish I could get married everyday day here. The staff was so helpful. The head chef, who was cooking our dinner, took time out of his busy schedule to help with a dress fiasco. As great as he is a chef, he is a tailor. My dad was amazing, everything was beautiful. So happy!!

We had the perfect wedding at LMCC. I know that sounds crazy, but it was as perfect as a wedding can get! The venue is absolutely stunning and it achieves that almost effortlessly. It looked like we spent a million dollars for our wedding (but really we worked with the budget of a budding entrepreneur and single mom!). Our guests were highly impressed and even we were impressed! We had run of the entire place for the whole day. That meant my bride could relax and take her time getting ready there on site without having to worry about a driver, traffic, forgetting something at home or any other potential hiccup that comes from getting ready off site. We got married on the beach in the beginning of April and the weather even cooperated! Larry Patton worked with our budget to make everything work. Brendan and his team couldnt have possibly been more attentive. The food was so delicious and they worked with my food allergies and our vegetarian requests (for certain guests). I never heard anyone ask, "now where is that server?" We had an amazing time before the wedding, during the wedding, and even the cleanup was a breeze. We are truly blessed to have had such a great experience. It was one of a kind! Thank you Larry and Brendan!!

LMCC couldn't have helped provide my husband and I a better wedding. Our guests raved about hoe friendly the staff was. Everyone enjoyed their meals and I'm still hearing about what a great time everyone had! Brendan, Blake and Amber were wonderful!!

Lake Mohawk Country Club was the perfect place to hold a wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous with the amazing views of the lake behind you as you get married on the beach and then you continue to enjoy the views during the cocktail hour. We took our photos right there along the boardwalk, the gardens and the beach and although we haven’t received our pictures yet those taken by our guests are amazing. Planning a wedding here was easy due to the quick responses of Blake and Brendan to my texts and e-mails and the day of the wedding they took over and made sure each and every one of my details became a reality. During the day of the wedding the entire staff at LMCC made the day move seamlessly and my new husband Brian and I have nothing but positive comments about how easy they made everything happen for us. Not only did we have an amazing day, but our guests did as well. Thank you LMCC for being the perfect place for us to hold our magical day.

It was great working with Blake and Brendan through the long process of planning our wedding! They were both super helpful, responsive, and full of awesome ideas. The day of our wedding Brendan and Amber ran things so smoothly, everything was perfect. All of our guests raved about the food, the decor, and of course, the beautiful lake view! What an unbelievable experience we had at LMCC! My husband and I are so thrilled with our decision and had the most unbelievable night imaginable! Unfortunately, we had so bad weather that caused our originally outdoor wedding to be inside, but this did not take away from the day at all and everything went perfectly. Blake, Brendan, Danielle and the entire staff were so helpful and accommodating to every (crazy) idea we came up with. They are true professionals and made the day even more enjoyable knowing they had it all under control and we didn't have to worry about a single thing.
As an added bonus, The venue also recently had some major renovations that really updated the inside while keeping the rustic character that we originally fell in love with. 5 stars across the board! :)

I can't say enough about Lake Mohawk Country Club as a venue for our wedding. My husband and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue- we tried barns, inns, ect. and just couldn't find something rustic AND special enough. LMCC was the perfect mix of what we were looking for. From the minute we saw it and stepped out on the deck overlooking the lake, we both turned to each other and said, "this is it." The entire staff was very helpful and flexible and anything that we needed was taken care of. I had boxes of mason jars and bags of sand that I needed to put together for candle holders. Danielle and Blake said "no problem" and allowed my mom and I to put them together at the venue the week before. My husband and I felt strongly about having drinks on the sand where the ceremony was taking place - they worked with us to make it happen, and everyone loved it and felt like they were relaxing lakeside with a cold drink before the ceremony. With anything we needed, they worked with us to make it what we wanted. The venue itself is a perfect mix of being beautifully rustic and elegant. The lake is beautiful, and the exposed wood beams in the reception room are just gorgeous. Brendan was our point person, and he was so helpful leading up to and during the wedding. Brendan and Victoria knew exactly how we wanted things to look- and when I thought I had forgotten something, they had already done it. My husband and I didn't need to think about a thing that day, and Brendan always made sure we had a cold drink in our hands. LMCC is a magical venue and the staff is extremely helpful. My guests said they felt like they were at a "private lake estate" with the beautiful lakeside ceremony, cocktail hour on the deck, and the stunning, rustic ballroom. I would tell anyone looking for a "different" venue from the typical Jersey wedding, to look at Lake Mohawk. I want to renew our vows already, just so we can have another party at Lake Mohawk.

I can't say enough good things about this venue. LMCC is beautiful. The building itself is a 100+ year old chateau, nestled next to the largest man-made lake in NJ.
We had our ceremony on the boardwalk overlooking the beautiful, serene water, on a warm, 80-degree day, with the sun setting in the background as we vowed our love to each other. The cocktail hour was also on the large deck outside, with an open bar inside.
Our reception was in their beautiful ballroom, with its high vaulted ceilings, charming chandeliers, and candles all around. I did not have big floral centerpieces, nor did I have any up-lighting, nor did I have any flowers decorating my ceremony; and we didn't need any of it. Lake Mohawk Country Club is so beautiful on its own, and the deck is covered in potted flowers - I didn't need to go over the top with ancillary expenses.
Also, on the wedding day, my bridesmaids, my mom, and I all got ready before the wedding at the bridal suite, which was one of my favorite things about LMCC. The bridal suite is like a princess tower, with two levels, and we got ready on the highest level, overlooking the water and the boardwalk.
If you do book with LMCC, their food is really delicious, and your wedding cake will be provided by Cafe Pierrot.
Blake and Brendan were so responsive and helpful to me. I think I was a needy bride, very worried about things going wrong, and very oriented to minor details. I was a DIY bride, and I was worried about these things being presented just how I wanted -- but Blake and Brendan were super nice with me every step of the way, and everything was perfect. Our wedding was a dream come true.

Brendan and the entire LMCC staff were beyond incredible! They went out of their way to make our wedding day perfect!! We had our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding outside on the boardwalk...it was such a beautiful view and the food was great!! Our wedding day was perfect in every single way!! Our ceremony took place on the beautiful lakeside beach, our cocktail hour was outside on the boardwalk with a breathtaking view, and our reception dinner was held in the Grand Ballroom. We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding!!! The view, the food, the atmosphere...everything was simply breathtaking!!! Our guests are still talking about what beautiful wedding we had!! Many guests said that they felt like they were somewhere in Europe because of the gorgeous view and location!! Jacobo ("Jake") and the entire kitchen staff were so amazing as well!! The food was delicious and they went out of their way to please us and our guests!!

Lake Mohawk did a great job with my wedding last week. Brendan was great, we worked closely with him throughout the entire process and he was super flexible, knowledgeable, and very accommodating for any of our requests. All of our guests loved the venue as it's very unique, particularly if guests are not from the area. I would definitely recommend the venue. I grew up just three minutes from LMCC and looked at venues all over northern NJ, but still ended up with Lake Mohawk in the end - and am happy that I did!

Growing up in Sparta, I had been to other events at the country club, but I had never been to a wedding there until my own. Everything went so perfectly. Before the day even came, Brendan was so amazingly helpful and patient with our requests and concerns. He responded so quickly to every email or phone call. The day of the wedding, there was a boat show on the lake. I was so nervous that there would be noise during the ceremony. There wasn't any, until a loud cheering after the ceremony was done (which we permitted). The staff made sure that our ceremony was just as intimate and calm as we hoped it would be on the boardwalk. The service was wonderful. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. Again, Brendan was so excellent during the wedding. Everything went so smoothly. The food was so delicious and praised by everyone at the wedding. The room looked so beautiful with the lighting, flowers, and candles. The boardwalk held the perfect cocktail hour and dessert hour. They make it look so beautiful with the candles. It's a perfect place to have a wedding for the indoors and outdoors. Our guests were able to dance all night or enjoy cigars on the boardwalk. It provided so much space for people. We would recommend this venue for any major event, not only a wedding!

This was a beautiful rehearsal dinner location! My mother in law planned the whole thing, so I don't have much to say about the planning process. But I can say that when we arrived, it was a breathtaking view! We had tables out on the boardwalk and a wonderful dinner buffet inside. The food was delicious! The staff was attentive! The location was superb. A very, very nice place.

The LMCC team lead by event planner Larry Patton and Chef Jake Dominguez was truly the BEST team we could've ever asked for. They were extremely helpful and flexible to put together a whole new personalized menu for us and signature bride and groom drinks.
Jake went above and beyond to surprise us with delectable Spanish-Peruvian fusion dishes for cocktail hour and our reception; and Larry by making sure we stayed within budget and still providing us with the best quality on everything we asked for.

My husband and I loved LMCC it's fabulously Rustic Ballroom worked so well with our theme "rustic elegance". Larry set up a bartender in the ballroom to offset my fears that the bar in the other room would filter out too many of my guests. He also let me mix square and round tables so I could pull off my version of David Tutera's "My Fair Wedding" mixing linens and center pieces. I was allowed to swap out their baker for my favorite Desserts of Distinction INC which allowed us an extra carving station and a seared tuna appetizer. Craig our maître'd was like a member of the bridal party he kept us organized & on-time, he was with us from beginning to end don't know what we would have done without him/luckily we didn't have to! Thanks to everyone at LMCC our day was a success:) Oh and getting married Lakeside with the tents was perfect since on that day there were storms headed our way. Although my Lynchburg Lemonade Stand had to be squashed our signature drink was still by the pitcher at the bar for guests to enjoy. They all complimented us on the food and the venue, many had never been there prior.

This is a beautiful venue with fantastic people. Our wedding went off without any problems, at least that we know of! Larry was great to work with and Jake, the executive chef, sculpted an amazing Ice Sculpture for us as well as fruit carvings.
Our food was amazing and there was so much of it. Everyone was stuffed!

Everyone who came to my wedding said it was the most beautiful and most fun wedding they had ever been to, The food was incredible.....and I mean INCREDIBLE.....as was the wedding cake, which is a miracle since wedding cakes normally taste like cardboard. Larry is awesome and was so nice and on-the-ball every step of the way. It's amazing how inexpensive it is as a venue considering the fact that the quality is five-star. The staff made everything run smoothly and made everything so easy for us. I couldn't believe how amazing it was. I know of about fifteen different couples who have gotten married there and not one would have done it differently. Trust me, everyone raves about LMCC because it is honestly THAT amazing. I would recommend LMCC to anyone planning a party, but especially a wedding.....if you do, you can rest assured your wedding will play out like a fairy tale. -Allie

Amazing View and Attentive Staff! The lake is gorgeous and is a unique location for a wedding. The staff is extremely attentive and always aiming to please. There were a few minor things we asked for that didn't happen, but that's too be expected in a large event. Overall, our wedding was an incredible day and everyone was thrilled to be at a wedding that wasn't at a banquet hall.

Andrew and I had our wedding here at LMCC on July 13, 2013. From the beginning of the planning process to the end of our wedding reception, LMCC was perfect in every way! Larry Patton was easy to talk to and made all our plans come true. The staff was impecable, especially Brendan and Victoria, who were there to pick up my dress, grab us a drink, or make sure that we actually cut our cake:) The food was delicious and our guests are still raving about it. The Lake Mohawk Country Club was an incredible venue for my wedding. Even though it rained, the view from the windows was absolutely stunning. They have an adorable bridge over a pond that is perfect for a first look if you do that before the wedding. Larry was so knowledgeable and great to work with. He has been there for years so he really knows his stuff. The food was incredible. It is also very reasonably priced.

Lake Mohawk was the perfect setting for our June wedding. The town is charming and the venue is beautifully set on the boardwalk and lake. We loved that they only did one wedding a day so we had the place all to ourselves from 9am to 11pm. The bridal suite was large enough for both sides of the bridal party to hang out before the ceremony and the outside deck was a unique feature. The weather was forecasted to be in the low 90's but it felt very comfortable with the breeze coming off the lake throughout the day and tents to cover the ceremony and reception areas. Our ceremony was outside on the grotto and the flower planters, flags, and the lake were so stunning that I didn't need to have flowers for the ceremony which saved on money. Our guest were very impressed with the venue and food and kept asking how we found this place. We liked that we were able to personalize the menu, beer and wine selections and the cake was included. We were very happy with the service and Larry was great with answering all of our questions and concerns and was very accommodating. Now that the wedding is in the past, we love that we are able to go back to LMCC whenever we want and walk the boardwalk and reminisce on such a special day in our lives.

I think Lake Mohawk Country club is a hidden treasure. I always knew it was there because I grew up in Sparta but having my wedding there made me look at it in a totally different light. The venue is beautiful. The staff was amazing and so helpful & attentive the day of the wedding. Larry is responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The venue exceeded my expectations. I could not have had a better day!!

We cannot say enough about the Lake Mohawk Golf Club as a wedding venue. All of their staff that we encountered were professional, caring and courteous. Their prices are very reasonable and their setting is gorgeous!! Everything was incredibly easy with them and there was no hassle or drama. The general manager that set everything up with us was very helpful and was always easy to get in touch with. They met our budget without any sales pitch and respected our bottom line. The food was delicious and plentiful. The wait staff and bartenders were very responsive to everyone's needs and went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. I would highly recommend their venue for any event.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Lake Mohawk Country Club. I recently had my wedding there on Nov. 5th. Larry Patton and the entire staff were so professional and made sure the day was perfect. I was considering hiring a day of wedding planner, but it was not necessary at all! The country club set everything up exactly as I wanted! It's an older venue, but it has so much character. Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was- with the outdoor cocktail hour on the lake, to the beautiful ballroom. The pricing is also very reasonable for what you get with the package. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect for all of the girls to get ready in, plus the lake makes for wonderful pictures.

The moment I saw this venue I knew it was exactly what I've always dreamt of. My husband and I didn’t want a traditional “banquet hall” or a wedding factory, which is why LMCC was perfect. It was hard to discover, however, as they don’t really advertise which is why I am posting a review. I want other brides to know about this little gem.
Located in the heart of Sparta, NJ, LMCC is a lake front property with a beautiful French/German Château type architecture and beautiful surroundings which make for fantastic wedding photos. I should also point out that they only do one wedding per day and that should it rain the space inside is just as beautiful for a ceremony and cocktail hour. I felt this was a very important feature as weather always need to be considered and most placed we looked at would have stunk had we needed to move everything inside.
Our ceremony took place on the raised deck off the boardwalk overlooking the lake with the entire cocktail hour hosted right on the boardwalk. The guests then moved inside to the dining area with its 30 ft vaulted ceiling, exposed wood beams, beautiful hardwood floors, old world chandeliers, and glass wall which showcases the beautiful lake views. I honestly can not even truly describe how beautiful it all really is. It’s definitely a must see in person.
One of my favorite things about the site was the bridal suite. It’s a two story tower which you have all to yourselves for the entire day. The first floor has a deck/patio with chairs The 2nd floor has a complete vanity and full length mirror which is were we all had our hair and makeup done.
Their food was beyond our expectations and absolutely incredible. There are a ton of choices on their menu for cocktail hour and dinner. They provided our guests with FOUR dinner options. Open bar and wedding cake were all included. LMCC was the 7th and last wedding site we looked at and I have to say that nothing else compared when factoring in location, beauty of property, spaciousness, quality of food and price.
The catering manager, Larry Patton, was extremely accommodating and was a huge help during the entire process. He met with me on 3 different occasions to go over our needs, which really put my mind at ease. Exchanging info through email wasn’t always good as sometimes he wouldn’t receive them so I figured out rather quickly that it was always best to call him to make sure he got the information. As long as you can handle that then you should be completely satisfied. On the day of he was there to help not only organize my décor requests but also organize and do a quick run through of the processional as we did not have a rehearsal.
Our guests haven't stopped talking about how wonderfully different out wedding was, or about how great the food was! Larry & Lake Mohawk Country Club truly let us have a wedding that was "us," and we wouldn't have been able to make it so special anywhere else.

Newly renovated and the ballroom looked beautiful. A beautiful location on the boardwalk, even on a very rainy day. Blake and everyone at LMCC were a breeze to work with, flexible, and kind. Would recommend!

We got married at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in August and they did a fantastic job. The food was wonderful and the space was beautiful. The chef Jake, even made us the most beautiful ice sculpture. Brendan, who is the manager, was so attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed all day while we were getting ready and at the wedding. They have a great place for the bride to get ready with her bridesmaids and the entire day ran so smoothy because of the wonderful staff here. The backdrop of the beautiful lake also makes for a stunning setting for pictures. I would recommend checking this place out if you are getting married!

LMCC is, by far, one of the most picturesque venues that my husband and I had seen on our tour of places to hold our wedding ceremony & reception. On a private lake, it’s a rustic location on the waterfront with an amazing ballroom, old oak-room bar with a fire place and bridal suite upstairs to get ready in. This is anything BUT your standard wedding venue. It’s beautiful.
We worked with Larry Patton, the site coordinator, in developing our menu, cake, linens, and all of the details in order to pull our ceremony, cocktail hour & reception together. He was always flexible, responded within a fair amount of time to questions, and met with us on a number of occasions. He really helped us stay within our budget, but never skimped on the service! Larry and his staff were an was absolute joy to work with!
On the day of my wedding, it was raining and very windy, and he was able to help us decide – up until 30minutes prior to the ceremony, whether we would have the ceremony inside or out – so nice to work with a location that is SO flexible!
During & after our wedding, almost every one of our guests commented on how good the food was and how much they enjoyed LMCC (they even made exceptions for people with dietary restrictions – food allergies, vegan, etc.). My guests felt like they were being taken care of just like me and my husband were. It was so nice to hear.
If you are looking for a venue that is top notch, different from wedding factories, a memorable location, as well as receive great/flexible service, you MUST check out LMCC!

Beautiful venue with amazing staff!
The venue was beautiful and the staff was extremely professional and accommodating! There was a variety of food to choose from, and everything was delicious.

Perfect day!
The venue was gorgeous! Our guests had so many compliments from the views, food to the service! The staff was so accommodating with all of our needs. The grooms den and bridal suite were a perfect place to get ready. Both the groomsmen and bridesmaids had such a blast throughout the day. Highly recommend getting married on the beach.
