Hannah, thank you for putting up with my endless emails and making it work when we downsized, the space looked beautiful and didn’t feel too big for the number of people in attendance. being able to bring in your own vendors, booze, and style into a venue is a huge plus not to mention getting the space from Wednesday to Monday really allows you to take your time when setting up and not feel rushed to set up the day of.

Our wedding is in July of 2019. Everything about this venue is beautiful from the windows to the restrooms to the beautiful lights strung throughout. My fiancé and I are so excited for a venue that is unique and very welcoming. We have a few guests who are not able to use the stairs and the venue has graciously given us permission to use the service elevators to bring our grandparents up and offered wheelchairs. They have been on top of the booking process and even working with our personal vision for the big Day! They offer tables and chairs and linens and different options for all 3! If you want a venue that will work with you to make your day special but always get a canvas to work with and make it your own I 100% recommend this venue!

The Lake Erie Building was perfect for our event. We hosted 200 guests, split the space into an area for the Ceremony and an area for the Reception, took full advantage of re-using and re-purposing the furniture/accessory items that the Venue had to offer, took full advantage of the Bridal Suite, and absolutely loved the flexibility of having the space for a few days prior to the wedding, as well as post wedding. It made creating our special day that much easier. The staff was fantastic to work with as well - incredibly helpful with the setup, day off, and tear down. Highly recommended, book fast!

I am from Cleveland but my husband and I live in NYC where he is an urban planner so it was important to us to have a ceremony and reception space that was unique, paid homage to Cleveland’s past and used space in a creative way. We found all of that and more in the Lake Erie Building. The ability to rent out the space for 5 days and customize it exactly how you like give you a blank slate to work with and takes the pressure of setting up on your wedding day off your plate. Hannah and her team are so wonderful and easy to work with too! So much so that Hannah was responding to me while on maternity leave and Ewa helped my husband get me out of my dress! Haha. Also, my guests who came from all over the world said that it was the coolest venue that they had ever been to. Get your wedding out of the barn or park ladies, it’s been done and book it at the Lake Erie Building! You won’t regret it!

We were very happy with our experience at the Lake Erie Building. Hannah was extremely helpful from beginning to end, always promptly answering our many questions. The staff during the week of set up and on the day of the event were also super accommodating and provided suggestions that came in handy. This space is ideal for the couple who is looking to do something a little different and have the flexibility to choose their own vendors. It was really nice to be able to add our own special touches and pick and choose how we wanted the layout for both our ceremony and reception.

I can not say enough great things about this venue and all of their coordinators and employees. They we so accommodating and easy going they really kept me stress free. Anytime I turned around they were there to help with smiles on their faces. Having the space from Wednesday-Monday, what a dream! I completely made it my own and it was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My guest were blown away! Kathy and Megan are a dream team to coordinate and work with. Gary,Dave,James,and Dan a real pleasure to work with and reliable hard working men. The entire week of my wedding and night of even allowing us to stay later than a usual wedding being NYE went off without any problems from the venue. Thank you all so much for all your hard work and smiling faces.

The Lake Erie Building (old screw factory) is perfect or any couple who wants a blank space. The space allows for total creativity from set up to decorations. One of the greatest perks was having the space for a few extra days so we had plenty of time to set up decorations and tear down. The staff is extremely helpful and offered to help countless times. When we first chose this space, the venue was transitioning (including construction of the actual space!) so it is very cool to see where the venue s heading. They also provide a service called "AllSeated", it is an online program that allows you to set up the room (seating, tables, lights, etc). Once you have finalized the online space, the venue is able to access it and set up the room exactly the way you designed.
This venue was absolutely perfect for our industrial-great gatsby-new year's eve-wedding and would recommend the venue to anyone that wants an urban/industrial feel and isn't afraid of a DIY wedding!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Lake Erie Building for our wedding! We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception all in the Lake Erie Room. The place is so beautiful and unique that decorating can be minimal. The staff is so helpful and awesome. They helped so much in the planning, day of details, and cleaning up. I highly recommend this venue!!

The Lake Erie Building is a gorgeous space - obviously very industrial. There is so much flexibility in terms of what you can do! And if you don't have a creative eye, the staff will certainly help. We chose this space because we can bring our own caterer and alcohol. We wanted food that reflected us, not a generic caterer. Definitely check out the building if you want a space that is flexible and has huge creative potential.

Holy Smokes! The Lake Erie Building is a great option for couples looking to make their wedding their own unique day. The building is just a big old empty warehouse and it is truly up to you to make it your own. Rest assured, you will not be completely on your own though. Kathy and the entire Lake Erie team will be there every step of the way! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This is a huge warehouse building that is great for an unfinished wedding. You get to do whatever you wish with the space! We are very excited to start more into the planning and see how we can fill up the space nicely! Kathy is very friendly, super responsive and helpful!

The Lake Erie Building was such an amazing venue for our wedding!! The industrial vibe was everything we wanted!! The inventory of decor, props, tables, chairs, and linens were perfect for what we needed allowing us to do save money on rentals. We planned on 200 guests and actually ended up with 170; we arranged the space to accommodate and had PLENTY of space! The staff is all very friendly, and Hannah was our coordinator; she was super responsive and helpful. One of the things we loved most was having it for extra days before and after the event. There was no rush the morning of to set up and no rush the night of to get everything we brought in out. You do have to bring in your own alcohol and all your own vendors, but they gave great suggestions and made it very easy.

A few tips- the parking/ entrance for guests can be a little confusing, and even though they have some signs and staff to help, I recommend creating more signs, maybe designating others to help guide people, and even sharing maps/ instructions with your guests ahead of time; everyone figured it out eventually and made it though. Also, the acoustics aren’t great so made it a little hard to hear the music if you’re further from the dance floor. Lastly, make sure the ice chest is FULL and maybe even have your bartenders bring extra- we ran out toward the end of the wedding.

Overall, the experience working with them and the space was great so we highly recommend it!!

Great location, lots of space, perfect for a big wedding. We decided to go with a different venue because of our size, but they were very helpful. If you like to design your own space, this is perfect groundwork. Tall ceilings and lots of windows add atmosphere.
