Amazing and reliable!

Jessica not only blew us out of the water, but was exceptional at her job. She was always there when we needed her and had everything for our wedding very organized! We couldn’t even find a single detail that needed to be fixed. Throughout the wedding ceremony, Jessica was always present if we needed anything. She answered phone calls and emails in a very timely manner as well. Overall, an exceptional experience!

Amazing venue!!

Beautiful hall, great food and drinks, great service for our large wedding reception! Our wedding coordinator assigned to us, Jessica was also amazing! She was always organized and patient until the last day to help with all the details! She made everything so smooth on our wedding day. Thanks Jessica you’re the best! :)

La Centre is Hard to Beat!

It has been 2 months since my daughter’s wedding (June 1, 2019) and I would like to thank everyone at La Centre for helping us throw a once in a lifetime event filled with love, laughter, friends and family bonding! This was my first attempt at wedding planning and with my daughter living on the other side of the country, I needed all the help I could get. Our wedding package at La Centre included an invitation to a wedding fair (very helpful) and our very own wedding coordinator--the lovely Jessica Neeson (extremely helpful). Experienced, kind, with a wealth of knowledge, Jessica held my hand patiently over a year of planning. With her guidance, I selected wonderful vendors--Wildflour Bakery, Statement Limousine, Selective Sound, Making the Moment Photography (Amber and Anna were pretty cool), Isa’s Touch. Isa Raganathan, florist extraordinaire, created stunning Ikebana-inspired arrangements for us. She also happened to be our unflappable Day-Of Coordinator, and so with both Isa and Jessica present on the big day, I had a grand and carefree time on the wedding day. Food at La Centre was outstanding (kudos to the chef). During the cocktail hour, our guests were in heaven, rubbing elbows, feasting on hors d’oeuvres, viewing photos of the newly weds on strategically positioned flat screens (no charge for these). Something special was the Yamaha Disklavier that played Filipino love songs recorded by my mother long ago…when the disc ended, one of our talented guests took over at the piano, and everyone around gleefully broke into song! All too soon, the doors opened to the elegantly appointed ballroom, where fuchsia peonies popped out in welcome. The rest of the evening flowed seamlessly, according to our predetermined time-line. Our DJ, Rich Gassman, was incredible as he got everyone (2 years old to 90) up and dancing until midnight. It was no surprise that the late night Mitchell’s Ice Cream Bar with all the toppings was a huge hit! Service at La Centre, all throughout the evening, was efficient and remarkably gracious. Twice, there was broken glass on the dance floor—clean up was swift! One thing we were glad we did, was let our guests take the gorgeous flowers home, with all their happy memories. For its sophisticated spaces, top-notch staff, personal and hassle-free wedding planning, La Centre is hard to beat. And thank you, Jennifer; I booked La Centre because of you!

Professional and experienced!

LaCentre helped to create our dream wedding reception! Throughout the whole process, we worked so closely with Jessica, and she made everything as stress free as possible! Everyone was accommodating, responsive, encouraging, and they made us feel confident the whole way through. We happily recommend LaCentre to anyone!

Jessica truly made all of our wedding dreams come true! There are no words that can really explain how grateful we both are on how the day turned out. She made the entire wedding planning process so enjoyable, and she really went above and beyond to pay attention to every single detail. She thought of everything, especially those minor details that never even crossed our mind! We were planning our wedding reception from out of town, and Jessica was extremely flexible and always available via email. If we were ever in the area for even a day or two, she would make the time to meet with us! Our guests had such a fantastic time at our wedding reception! Our guests continue to tell us how beautiful the reception was and how delicious the food was. One of our favorite memories was being able to take a sneak peak of the room just as the final details were being pulled together during cocktail and before the guests were seated in their seats. We were in absolute awe of the true beauty of the room, seeing all of our hard work come together! We had a wonderful experience at LaCentre. The staff was very professional and efficient. The venue was flexible in meeting our needs to prepare for our event. Our menu selections were delicious and the portions were adequate.

Our overall experience with Lacentre was excellent. From planning to the Finish, it was smooth sailing. All my guests were very happy. Lacentre Mgmt. took care of each one of them from age 1 to 98 , Cordial , pleasant yet very professional staff made sure that every minor detail was taken care of. Lacentre has wonderful customer service. They always email or call back in a reasonable amount of time. They are responsive, flexible, professional and truly want to please the customer. I have had our prom at Lacentre for years now and would not go anywhere else because of the customer service and delicious food.

We had our wedding at La Centre on 10/14/17. The team exceeded all of our expectations! We were so pleased with their attention to every little detail and their ability to make all of our dreams a reality. The team’s communication and quality of service was incredible. We could not have asked for a better Team to work with; everyone went out of their way to make our daughter's wedding day extra special. At the 11th hour we added some things and they came off without a hitch. Please remember that you always get what you pay for, LaCentre is not inexpensive but the value for what we received was worth every dollar we paid. Would recommend without reservation.

The room was set up with white tablecloths and our requested color of napkins. We then placed our centerpieces on the tables. The buffet lunch was set up on the side of the room, very conveniently, and did not block anyone's view of opening the gifts. They also served 5 select lunches to those who requested gluten-free food.
LaCentre also upgraded our choice of chairs and upgraded our drinks to punch. Everyone enjoyed the lunch. The staff was very diligent at removing plates and refilling drinks. A good time was had by all, very elegant!

I had my ceremony and reception at LaCentre and it was more beautiful than I could've ever imagined. Maddie and her team were so helpful as I didn't have a wedding planner and did everything myself. The food was absolutely amazing, best food I've ever had at a reception. The packages they have are great deals and they are willing to work with you no matter what you budget is. I wish I could relive that day all over again!

Lacentre is the place to have your wedding if you want to be pampered and just relax and enjoy your day! Jessica is amazing and a pleasure to work with. She went above to make sure everything that we envisioned was perfect the day of our wedding. All the staff at Lacentre was awesome and very professional. The facility is beautiful with the exquisite chandelier's and several ballrooms to choose from. The food is some of the best we have eaten and the wait staff is awesome. I would recommend Lacentre to anyone who is planning a wedding. We had both our wedding and reception there and we were blown away! Thank you so much Lacentre for making our day a beautiful and memorable event, no only for us but for all our guests!

LaCentre hosted our 30th High School Reunion. The staff, including our even planner Sabrina were wonderful to work with. They were very responsive and came up with excellent suggestions that really helped put the night over the top. The food, bar and space were fabulous!

We really enjoyed having our wedding reception at LaCentre. The whole planning process went smoothly. Sabrina was great to work with. She answered our questions in a timely manner and it really felt like she was on our side when coordinating the financial aspects.

LaCentre is beautiful with the lofted ceilings and the chandelier lights. It looked beautiful all set up on with amber lighting on our special day!

My wife and I could not be happier with the experience we had with LaCentre. From the very beginning we put a lot of extra work on them because we live out of town, but Sabrina (our event planner) rose to the challenge and covered every detail for our big day. We chose this venue because they offered a beautiful and welcoming environment for the ceremony and reception. Seeing it all come together for the event proved that we made the right choice, and it would be hard to count all the compliments we received from family and friends - especially on the food, which was truly amazing! LaCentre also works directly with many local vendors, which helped us with arranging the details for things like the wedding cake (from Wild Flour Bakery) and a loaner vehicle program. On the day of the ceremony and reception, we were greeted by helpful staff at every moment who were anxious to make sure everything was perfect for us. You can be confident that LaCentre will do everything they can to turn your special day into something you will never forget!

Top 3 things about having you wedding at LaCentre!

1) THE FOOD. The food is AMAZING. We had the filet and chicken with that cheesy sauce. Our guests raved and raved how not only was it outstanding for 'wedding' food, but one of the best meals they've ever had in their lives. Some of our guests had just been to a wedding at the Ritz and said how much better LaCentre's food (and the amount of food served) was! The meals were arranged beautifully on beautiful dishes (not an additional cost), served on time and warm, and the vegetarian guests were identified by name per my request at each table by the servers.

2) The value. At first is seems way overpriced, but when you break it down to the nitty gritty (so every guest gets a glass of champagne for a toast, the cake being from Wild Flour -- the best and most well-known wedding cake) with food type, amount, and alcohol, it's more reasonable. The main piece was adding in the price of the cake and champagne toast -- our cake was worth $800, not incl. tax, so divide that by 190 guests, and tack that onto the "PP" (per plate) cost. Another thing to keep in mind is parking -- it was free at LaCentre! Thank you LaCentre, knocked it outta the park.

3) The wedding planner. Sabrina was a GODSEND. She had ideas on how to improve things, when to cut the cake and why, all based off of what I imagined for our big day and what type of wedding I wanted it to be. Not to mention, she was so respectful of our budget and made things work for us to the best of her ability. Most of all, her support and constant efforts were outstanding. She gathered all details and what not with other vendors (ice luge, DJ, photographer, etc.), and confirmed all of their arrival times, LaCentre's address, etc. This will be huge to you!!

We had our dream wedding at LaCentre -- thank you for making it possible!

LaCentre was a beautiful venue to have our reception of about 90 people. Sabrina was very accommodating and her great suggestions helped us stay within our budget. We and our guests thought the food was delicious. It was served hot, fresh and in a timely manner. All the employees were very pleasant too. We would definitely recommend LaCentre to others!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have both our wedding and our reception. They worked with us on every aspect of the wedding from the big decisions to how to fold our napkins. Kelly was our planner and she helped to keep us organized. The venue was beautiful, everything was laid out exactly how we requested and the day was a fairytale. :) Also, the food was delicious. Can't say enough good things about LACENTRE.

We have had numerous events at LaCentre and every time are amazed at how much the staff goes out of their way to help make the events a success. The venue is beautiful and perfect for just about any type of event.

LaCentre was amazing. I received so many compliments on the food from my guests, it was all they could talk about. Kelly was my coordinator and she was very helpful, always responding quickly when I had questions for her, and I felt like she let me know what decisions I needed to make in a timely manner as well.

Amazing! I can not say enough good things about LaCentre. I worked with Kelly who is extremely professional. The wedding planning process would have been far more stressful without her. She took care in making sure that she knew exactly how I wanted the day to go from the order of events to the look of the reception room.

Some have commented that they think LaCentre is a little expensive and in the beginning I would have agreed, but after seeing the end result I think they provide an excellent value. I can't imagine that many other venues would have a wedding coordinator like Kelly that communicates with brides almost weekly in the months leading up to the wedding. The food was delicious, more like eating at a nice restaurant versus the standard catered food typically served at weddings. I loved that they have lighting options in house and I didn't have to hassle with an additional vendor to get this. They also coordinated my linen rentals. As the wedding process progresses the last thing a bride needs is another vendor to communicate with. LaCentre was flexible in providing us everything we needed on our big day. We had two rooms for the bridal party to get ready, the fireplace area for the ceremony, a cocktail area, and a ballroom for the reception. The managers the night of the wedding were great at communicating with us to make sure that our plan was followed.

At the end of the day everything was out of this world. The site was beautiful, food was amazing, the staff was professional, lighting was spectacular, and everything went off without a hitch. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how amazing the evening was. My husband and I are still in awe at how amazing our wedding was!

My planner was Trish Brumelis and she did not let me teh bride worry one bit. She took care of everything and even contacted teh vendors to make sure they were coming and were going to have everything they needed to set up for the wedding. La Centre is a very pretty, elegent place and I would recommend this place any day to any Bride if they want a smooth wedding.

We used LaCentre for a retirement party/roast with about 90 guests. Planning process was organized, with flexibility on dates and room size--when our RSVP list exceeded projections, our coordinator moved the party into the ballroom and didn't need to change date. Room was comfortable and elegant, and service excellent. Chef is on site and was able to personalize the menu, including a pierogi bar (at request of the guest of honor)! Given the roast format, AV needs were priority and the AV specialist was great and all presentations went off without a hitch. Will plan to use LaCentre for our next corporate event!

There were some concerns regarding the service of the warm hors d'oeuvres and the speed of the dinner service. In future events we will be requesting chafing dishes for the warm hors d'oeuvres. As to the speed of the dinner service, the staff did an excellent job.

Beautiful venue. Very elegant. We had both the ceremony and the reception here, so the wedding party had access to our own room for the whole day. We were served with drinks, lunch, appetizers, etc. throughout the day and into the evening. They worked very well with all our vendors. Kelly, their on staff wedding planner, is amazing. She was so helpful and took and really took an interest in making sure everything was perfect. The tasting event was a lot of fund (They host a tasting event as a simulated reception to get an idea of what the food is like and how the venue will be decorated on the big day). The bar service was great. The food service was great.

This place was absolutely incredible. I only knocked off "Value for Cost" because they are pretty expensive (in my opinion), and I don't think any place should charge quite that much. Then again, I'm a little stubborn and idealistic. LaCentre had the most incredible service I've ever seen at a reception. The food was good enough to fantasize about, and the staff was friendly, professional, and seemed to genuinely care how our evening progressed. Just as an example--I really enjoy having a glass of milk with my cake, so they said "sure, no problem!" However, when the big night rolled around, they were out of milk. I said not to worry about it, but instead, they sent an employee out to the food store to buy a gallon of milk just to make me happy. I knocked a half-star off of flexibility because you have to book WAY in advance, however, they get full marks for being flexible once booked. We were able to customize just about anything we wanted. This place is great.

We would highly recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a reception venue in the Cleveland area! They were very flexible with us in working with our budget, and the quality of service we received on our wedding day was incomparable! Also, the decor in the venue is beautiful and would work well with any wedding color schemes.

The pre-wedding responsiveness was average. Before the wedding, it was difficult to acquire information for outside vendors. The attention to detail during the reception was exceptional.

Everything at Lacentre was amazing! The food, drinks, lighting... all of it!!! I have one complaint about the whole reception, they never told any of the other vendors where they were supposed to sit to eat, so they did not get a meal. Also, almost all of the tables had the incorrect number of chairs so guests were confused when told to go to an already full table. Other than those small things, they gave us the best that money could buy!!!

Beautiful venue with first class service. Must be specific with details and follow up prior to event to ensure completion. Not very flexible with pricing or negotiating printed priced items. Will hold boxes in advance of event which was very helpful. The Audio Visual Services were top notch for the cost.

LCentre is a very classy and elegant venue. the food is delicious and the the ballroom is soo nice. The service is great and they were quick to answer emails. The environment is elegant and clean, and very upscale. The down side is they are not flexible at all when it comes to decorating . Everything has an upcharge and extra cost associated with it. The plated service is fantaastic, however extremely pricey.

The planning stages at LaCentre were long and left us with many unanswered questions my coordinator needed to get back to me with. Unfortunately this response was not always as quick as I would have liked. She did have a great deal of experience and knowledge which I appreciated while I was planning. Unfortunately many items came up the week of the wedding which I was not anticipating and did not have enough time for. The day of we had a few minor glitches which LaCentre was very quick to respond to. Overall I thought they were a great venue, they provide a lot of services in house, and would just advise talking to the coordinator early and knowing what the timeline of planning on their end is. Probably would be a great idea for them to set up a timeline of everything they need to know, decisions that need to be made, services they provide and when all of that should be taken care of.

The reception hall turned out amazing and beyond my wildest dreams... There were still bumps along the way - we had to review the contract very carefully and negotiated some of what seemed like unnecessary charges. However, the day-of, I couldn't be any happier with how our reception went.

Leading up to the weeks prior to the wedding, our consultant at LaCentre did not provide us with necessary details, plans, and information needed to pass on to other vendors. She was difficult to get ahold of at times, and we started to get a little panicky that the plans for our event were not being taken care of. In the days leading up to the wedding, she became more responsive. Overall, I was disappointed by the level of service in the planning phase of our event.

The actual day of the wedding reception was flawless. The service, presentation, organization, food, ballroom set-up and decor were EXCELLENT!!! Every aspect of the event came together with amazing precision and each and every guest had an absolutely WONDERFUL time!!! I would absolutely recommend LaCentre for an unforgettable reception experience (but you may need to stay on top of the planning and preparation phase yourself!!).

Slow response from the coordinators we were assigned to. Big turn over in this staff, as we had changed coordinators 3 times. Ending with Sarah who we finally had good service with. The contract with what we had initially contracted was always in question. Seemed like there was always confusion around what was promised. The monthly billing was incorrect almost every month and gave us a sense of instability.
Once Sarah took over in the last month things turned around and we felt like we finally received the service we were promised and paid for.
