Violette and her entire team is a joy to work with and LVER has continuously delivered unparalleled performance and professionalism. The entire evening was made special because of Violette and her band. Each part of the coordination was seamless from contract writeup, supporting insurance information, to timeliness of setup. Highly talented and professional group we highly recommend!

Working with Violette from La Vie En Rose Talent was a dream. She was highly professional, knowledgeable, and was always prompt in responding to any questions we had regarding the set list or contract. Add to this her and Quentin's amazing vocals and the awesome accompanying band, and you have a knock-out performance that she can tailor to any event! Truly Perfection!

We are so happy with the work La Vie en Rose put into making our ceremony music exactly what we hoped. We had Yoonah play the piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it was exactly the mood we wanted to set for our guests. She also perfectly coordinated with our day of coordinator to hit the exact spot we wanted to in the song for my walk down the aisle. Violette even helped procure the sheet music for a few specific songs we requested! Would highly recommend Violette and her team to anyone looking for amazing live music for their wedding or event!

O&E band totally crushed it!

We had an amazing experience with O&E band. They are so versatile, and totally nailed my vision for a jazz brunch party. We started with a 3 piece for cocktail hour and grew the band to 8 piece by the end of the party. EVERYONE was on the dance floor and no one wanted to leave!

Amazing wedding band!!

We were looking for classy, elegant, and upbeat live music for our wedding and were referred to Violette and La Vie en Rose. They were amazing! She was very professional, communicative, and easy to work with. The vocalists and musicians were all extremely talented and played a great mix of jazz and pop. Exactly the vibe we were hoping for. We had some special requests during the reception as well and she made sure everything turned out perfect. We highly recommend La Vie en Rose - you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Violette!!

Perfect wedding band!

Perfect wedding band! The music was amazing and received complements from all our guests. When our 3 year old ring bearer fell she stopped, cheered him up and even let him play on a toy harmonica with the band. They knew how to make the night feel incredibly intimate and learned our song requests exquisitely. Also extremely easy to work with and professional from a planning perspective. Thank you for everything!

All of the musicians that performed at our wedding were AMAZING! Our wedding would not have been the same without them. The singing harpist, Pia, Apollo and the 8-piece band, and the jazz singers did such an amazing job and all of our guests raved about how amazing the music was. Violette did a great job organizing everything and working with us to get exactly what we wanted. My husband and I are so grateful to have been able to work with them - so professional and fantastic - can't give enough praise :)

My husband and I hired the O&E band from La Vie en Rose Talent for our ceremony/cocktail hour on our 7.21.18 wedding. From the beginning Violette was responsive and accommodating. I even asked if my friend could sing with the band as I walked down the aisle and they accommodated us like true professionals. During cocktail hour they played jazzy covers of modern songs and we are still getting rave reviews. We wanted something that wasn't snoozy for cocktail hour - more modern and interesting. They not only delivered but blew everyone away. I would hire them again and recommend to everyone looking for a talented group of musicians who want to spice up their wedding.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to spice up their wedding with a combination of jazz, latin and pop. People are still talking about our vocalist, Liz, and how well the entire band sounded and adapted to the crowd all night. Not to mention a period of collaboration with the DJ! Violette was also an absolute pleasure to work with—quick to respond and happy work with your wedding needs. 5+ stars!

La Vie En Rose performed at our wedding and did an amazing job! We had considered a DJ but are so happy that we booked La Vie En Rose. There is no substitute for live music. We booked the string quartet for the ceremony and a 6-piece band for the reception. The quartet helped to create a truly magical atmosphere for the processional and a fun and cheerful atmosphere during the cocktail hour. For the reception, the band, led by Violette, seamlessly transitioned from light jazz during dinner to more upbeat jazz, pop, Motown and rock later in the night. Their performance during the dinner provided a pleasant background that didn’t impose but provided an upbeat, classy atmosphere. During the dance portion of the reception, I was amazed to see everyone, across all age groups, run out and stay on the dance floor until the last song. All of our friends have been singing unprompted praises for La Vie En Rose. They are exceptional musicians and Violette, whether performing in English or French has a wonderful voice. I would add that Violette was very professional, courteous and thorough, and easy to work with in helping us plan the event. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with their superb performance. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Of all the weddings we have attended, we never saw the dance floor completely packed before the salads were even served! La vie En Rose Band truly exceeded expectations providing lively and fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. We are truly grateful for having such an amazing group provide perfection at our wedding!

Simply put, La Vie en Rose Band made our wedding. Their performance was amazing and our guests have not stopped talking about them since. From an instrumental cocktail hour to vocal jazz at dinner to night of dancing to pop, they did it all. Violette was amazing to work with through the whole process...she was super nice and extremely responsive, and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. No wedding band comes close to La Vie en Rose, and the best part was how affordable they were (even traveling to Philadelphia) compared to our other (lesser) options. Thank you Violette!

La Vie En Rose was everything we had dreamed of and more. So incredibly nice before the event and exceptional at the wedding. Everyone was in awe. Voices and instrument talent can’t be beat. La Vie en Rose was amazing! We had a wedding quite far out of the way up in Maine and there was no problem accommodating the location all while being a great value. The band was excellent and received tons of compliments from guests throughout the night. Very impressed and glad we found them!

Working with Violette was a dream! My team and I recently had the pleasure of working with her over the holiday weekend. As an event planner, I've had my fair share of experience with bands that are unprofessional. With Violette this was definitely not the case, she was incredibly professional and sweet throughout the entire event - not to mention her beautiful singing voice! Violette and La Vie En Rose provided live music that was everything we had hoped for and more! A live band was a top priority for us during our wedding and if we were going to spend the money we wanted it to be the best we could get. La Vie En Rose was one of the best decisions we made as they set a fun and lively tone throughout the evening. Most importantly, La Vie En Rose had everyone out on the dance floor despite the extreme heat. The night went by so fast for both the band and our guests because everyone was having the time of their lives!  Their song repertoire is extensive and diverse and they even learned a number of songs per our request. They played one of the best versions I have ever heard of “Hava Nagila” during the Hora! Every member of the seven piece band was unbelievably talented and were very interactive with the crowd. It was a pleasure working with Violette from the start. She is incredibly organized, friendly, and accommodating. Family and friends made a point to say to us how amazing the music was. The value of this band was absolutely phenomenal. Undoubtedly, I would not hesitate to recommend La Vie En Rose to anyone looking for a wedding band!

How do I even begin to describe this incredibly talented and versatile band? I was absolutely amazed at how these musicians played their hearts out all night long! And let me explain: it was 90 degrees --with no air conditioning-- and a room full of dancing guests. Every single song was better than the one before it. We were sweating our evening gowns off but it kept getting better and better. Incredible sounds, songs, and vocals. All th guests were memorized by their energy and sounds. Every single person - young and old -- was on the dance floor and it was sweating hot but so much fun to be a part of the music. It was an Endless night of great dancing opportunities and fun-- something I am sure most guests were not even expecting of themselves. It absolutely made this a monumental evening! And a big PS: they didn't take a break one time -- because they were having so much fun. It just doesn't get better than that!!

We hired Violette and her band to play our wedding just a few short weeks ago. They were very prompt with their communication beforehand and were incredibly flexible on the day of our wedding when our venue got changed due to inclement weather. On top of that, they sounded great and we received many compliments from our guests regarding the music. They conducted themselves as complete professionals and we would definitely do business with them again in the future. We highly recommend them!

We wanted to take a moment and say how grateful we are for the wonderful music that La Vie En Rose performed at our wedding on 10/16/15! Violette and the band made the night truly magical and everyone had an amazing time! We couldn't be happier with the atmosphere and the fun we had! Violette's voice is pure MAGIC, the music they played is superb quality and, what was most important to us, the event was customized to our needs. Violette is very responsive to an requests and together we tailored a perfect music flow for the whole night. Lovely French jazz and US classics in the beginning and a party for the second half of the night! 100% happy - 100% recommend!

Violette and La Vie En Rose were tremendous - providing piano music during cocktails, a jazz trio during dinner, and a full vocal/band for dancing the rest of the evening. La Vie en Rose was one of the highlights of our wedding. We really wanted a somewhat nontraditional band for our wedding, yet were afraid that our guests would find our choice stuffy in comparison to a DJ. LVER had everybody dancing and people were stunned and impressed by their unique sound. They were also flexible and responsive, and we had no communication issues whatsoever.

We booked La Vie En Rose for our wedding in New York. It was a perfect fit for with our vintage, 1920s theme and venue. Violette took the time to have numerous calls with me to go over every detail. Needless to say, everything was perfect the day of the wedding. I could not have been happier with the band and their talent. People loved the band, they had our guests dancing all night!

La Vie en Rose is a dream come true! We wanted romantic elegance for our wedding, and they made it happen! Violette was a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond to any inquiries we had during the planning process, and the band was out of this world amazing! Our singer, Mari Rosa, is stunningly beautiful with a voice to match and she and the rest of the band created a musical fairy tale for our wedding. They played beautiful French music, classic ballads, and some contemporary pop music. Their range of genres and talent is unbelievable! Everyone was having such a fabulous time dancing, and our guests of all ages told us how wonderful the music was all night long. We didn't talk to a single guest who didn't comment on how beautiful and perfect the music was, and the band kept everyone captivated all night long! They are a group of highly skilled musicians who know how to play to a crowd. We are still in awe of the magic they created, and we are so grateful we hired them for the most amazing day of our lives! My 89 year old grandmother said, "They don't make bands like this anymore!" Thank you so much La Vie en Rose. You made our wedding dreams come true!

La Vie En Rose provided us a violinist for our wedding ceremony. They were very responsive in their communications and very helpful when I had questions. The violinist was also able to perform some offbeat requests for us with a weeks notice (I was so behind picking songs and wanted some video game/Ghibli movie songs) with sheet music I provided. Overall it was an excellent touch to our wedding!

Indescribably excellent! Amazingly, they were better live than even on their awesome YouTube videos.

The band is the number one thing that everyone has been buzzing about talking about our event! Everyone was just shocked at what a great performance LVER put on, and how different they were than the typical wedding mix DJ. And despite a brunch affair with a rather rigid timeline, they got people up and dancing throughout!

Stunning mix of French classics, swing-y Jazz favorites, and some pop mixed in. Perfect for our audience that split half anglophone and half francophone.

Violette is charming, accommodating, and immensely talented. A pleasure to work with!

Violette and La Vie En Rose Band were great. My mother is French and we wanted to bring some french elements to our wedding celebration. The band was very accommodating with all of our requests. The violinist from the band played with my friend who played the piano for the processional. It was amazing. Then we had a quartet play during our cocktail hour and the full band play during dinner. They did a wonderful job setting the mood while also playing some great songs that people could dance to. Everyone I spoke to said that they were great and I could not agree more. Thanks for making our event so memorable!

Violette & La Vie En Rose were amazing to work with. From planning the event to the day of it was so smooth.

Obviously, Violette has this silky smooth amazing voice..but she's also so responsive and happy to help in any way. They learned new songs for our ceremony at a great value and made the vibe of my wedding so amazing. They provided extra speakers, microphones, etc...everything we needed to make our wedding extraordinary.

La Vie en Rose did a tremendous job with at our event. The quality of the music and selection of the pieces they played met and exceeded expectations all the way around. At the end of the night, per our request, they worked with their deejay to transition from dinner/dancing music to a more upbeat party. Everyone at the event had a great time, and I received many positive comments from my guests. "La Vie en Rose" came to perform at our Fundraising Event. The music and song's selection was perfect as we requested french songs.
The band was very professional and all our guests really enjoyed the performance.

One of the best decisions (amongst several others) I made for our wedding was to hire Violette and La Vie en Rose band. Their performance knocked my guests out of their socks. If you visit their videos on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/LaVieEnRoseBand), you will experience the exact, amazing delivery in person. I was a little concerned because I didn't get to see them perform live prior to the wedding. But all that went out the window when I heard their first performance.

Prior to that, working with Violette was a pleasure as well. She's very gracious, polite, and courteous. I try not to make unreasonable demands, but for every wedding, there is a little customization. She worked with me on each and every one. I got so busy in the last 2 weeks that I did not get to work out the songs with her until 2-3 days prior, and yet she pulled it all together, including learning a new song that I requested.

She also partners with DJ Jamie, who traveled down from Connecticut just for us. And he was just as much a pleasure to work with. Had I not been so tied up, I would've danced until after the venue was closed.

I know that for many soon-to-be newly weds, cost is a major concern. It was for me as well. I could have gone the cheap route with some loud mouth MC and an ipod DJ. But I refused to do so, and it turned out that Violette and her band was God sent because their cost was reasonable. I can only hope that our tip clearly expressed our gratitude. Each and every penny was worth it. Our wedding would not have been complete without their music, and they grace our night with their presence. You MUST hire them for any of your occassions. They are classic and elegant and are part of the reasons why many of my guests made sure that I knew that our wedding was one of the best if not the best wedding they have attended.

A thoughtful mixture of musical genres from french songs to swing and Jazz. Young and energetic the players have a good flair of the taste of the public; and their musical response to the public's expectation is on target. I was trying to get a jazz band , preferably with a French speaking vocalist for my party. Fortunately I found this site who sent my bid to various artists, I received quite a variation in prices however after I listened to Violette's voice and read previous reviews I decided to hire La Vie En Rose. The band arrived in time, looking so chic ( all of them), beautiful voice and intrepretation. All my guests commented positively and admiringly. Violette is an apparition herself , not only a great voice: -) In the end I congratulated myself for the choice I made.

We hired Violette and her band to perform at our wedding a few weeks ago, and they were wonderful! It was a pleasure to work with them - they were very accommodating to all of our requests, and Violette was always very responsive by both email and phone. The guests at our wedding loved the music as well. Our guests started dancing during the first course - everyone from our flower girls, friends in their early 20s, to our friends in the 40s and 50s. The music was amazing, and Violette was great at emcee'ing as well. After ~3 hours of the band, we transitioned to the DJ on Violette's team, and he was also great. La Vie En Rose totally made our wedding the most elegant and fun one I have attended! We had first seen them perform at a friends backyard party and totally loved their sound and overall style.
Violette made the planning really easy, giving us great advice while listening to our vision and ideas. We finally booked a package including solo piano for ceremony, instrumental quartet for cocktail hour (outdoors) and six musicians for the dinner. Great mix of romantic vintage and upbeat songs... and I absolutely loved the French (Edith Piaf) songs. All our friends asked us how we had found the band: we were thrilled! Thanks La Vie En Rose!

La Vie En Rose is an elegant musical experience. My wife and I chose them because we believed their style would fit perfectly with the venue we selected for our 25th anniversary celebration, and we were more than satisfied. We were astounded at how well they performed, and more importantly we were so impressed with their ability to capture the essence of the evening. If your looking for a quartet that breaks from the ordinary and will add to your celebration, then i suggest you let them perform at your function. Violette was wonderful to work with start to finish and has a lovely voice. We did a home wedding with ceremony in the great room and party right outside on the patio. Doing most of the prep work ourselves, we didn't really have the time to do much planning with her, but she demonstrated remarkable flexibility in getting us what we wanted as our needs changed. She was able to pull in a violinist with <24 hours notice to accompany the piano for the ceremony, and the two played together flawlessly. The band transitioned to jazz on the patio immediately. Several friends have offered to pitch in to bring La Vie en Rose back for a patio party next year.

Book this band!!! They were amazing! They took the time and learned some pretty difficult songs for our wedding on a short notice. These guys have their stuff together. Sounded great live and they have a ton of talent!

La Vie En Rose was fantastic! We hired them for our wedding and they did not disappoint. We were looking for something a little different than your average wedding band singing typical or cliche wedding songs. The french jazz was perfect for our first few hours of our cocktail party. Classy and sexy without being too loud! Per Violette's recommendation we included a male vocalist who joined the ensemble later in the evening to provide some great Motown/funk dance music. Although we had not heard him prior to the event, it turned out great. People were dancing and having a ball. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band! Would certainly recommend!

Violette and the band did a fabulous job blending classic jazz/american songbook during dinner and early dancing and then transitioning to upbeat dance music for the rest of the evening. They kept everyone on the dance floor! Our first dance was a Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald classic, and we worked with them to record a version ahead of time so we could practice our first dance. The band seemed very professional, and all our guests were extremely impressed. We had looked at a couple other bands that were more expensive, and are so glad we went with La Vie En Rose. We added a male vocalist-- Rasul-- and he really completed the sound for the evening. I couldn't have been happier with the music for my wedding!

We had La Vie En Rose play for our cocktail hour and part of our reception. Everyone loved them and raved! Violette did a great job with communication before our wedding and even handled a few texts from us after hours when we were at a dance lesson trying to decide on a song.
I hope one day we can catch a show of theirs that does not center around us :) Violette has an amazing voice and was a pleasure to work with!

La Vie en Rose provided absolutely incredible music on our day. Talented musicians, wonderful song choices, and beautiful voice. Brought a level of class to the entire affair, only wish we had them for longer! Would highly recommend booking with them.
