We had a great experience prepping for our wedding with La-Tea-Da’s. Janet was fun to work with and accommodative to what we wanted for our wedding food. She provided great suggestions and you can tell her team really wants to personalize everything to the couple’s preferences. I would recommend Janet and her team to any couple looking for a caterer! -

La-tea-da's catered my daughters wedding at the Brawley Estate in September. There are so many wonderful things I could say about them. First the food was delicious. I received so many compliments from wedding guests on the quality of the food. Traci was so easy to work with. I felt fully confident with her in charge of the process. The level of customer service was exceptional. They played a part in making my daughter's wedding day just perfect. I can't thank them enough. -

La-tea-Da's catered our daughter's wedding reception last weekend. We received SO MANY compliments on the food. We had family friends from Charleston who raved about the shrimp and grits station! One friend told me it was the best wedding reception food she has ever had. Traci was so easy to work with and the service was amazing. -

La-tea-da's went above and beyond for my wedding! Janet made the planning a breeze, she was very organized and made my vision come to life. Food, drinks, and service were a top priority for my wedding and La-tea-da's more than succeeded! The food was some of the best I have ever had- we are still receiving complements from our guests! All of the small touches and details did not go unnoticed. The service was top-notch and La-Tea-Da's did not miss a beat. I would HIGHLY recommend La-tea-Da's for your wedding or next event! Our daughter chose The Brawley Estate in Mooresville, NC for her reception, and they exclusively partner with La-Tea-Da’s Catering. We could see why - consistently great food, beautifully displayed. Our guests raves about the sirloin and chicken dishes, as well as the amount of food available. Everything was still warm for those who chose to have seconds, too! The charcuterie and passed appetizers were delicious, too - if they still offer the mushroom crostini, do try it! We requested to bring home any leftovers, which helped us feed out of town family that weekend as well. I’ve heard some caterers don’t let you do that, which I don’t understand, but LTD did with a smile. Overall, a very pleasant experience and food worth raving about. Our only regret is that no one took any pictures of the food displays, would have been nice for the album. But the memory of how delicious it was will live on! -

Perfect Bridal Shower
I cannot say enough good things about La Tea Da's and the amazing work they did for my daughters bridal shower! The food was amazing, the display beautiful, the service awesome and the staff was so warm, professional and personable, I cannot thank them enough. From planning, to setup and throughout the event, the day was just perfect! 'Champagne and Tea with the Bride to be', who else would I call? La Tea Da's was the only, and perfect, choice of caterer. -

I can’t recommend La-Tea-Das enough for your catering needs!! Working with them was a breeze, and they make you feel like family from the start.
My family and I wanted to place special emphasis on the cuisine at our wedding, not only for the taste but also the presentation. We were looking for a caterer that brought the “WOW!” factor. La-Tea-Das more than delivered. Our food was the talk of our wedding reception!
Working with Emily, all of our specific requests were not only met but delivered with elegance. For example, my husband and I wanted to have a dinner together alone prior to our reception entrance. We were surprised with the most beautiful and private candle-lit dinner and had the whole room to ourselves. Additionally, we had a special liquor on hand at the bar for my grandfather to enjoy. One of the waitresses somehow pegged him “as the type” to drink this without meeting him beforehand, and personally delivered a glass of his favorite whisky to him. The staff interacted (and danced!) with my guests as if we were all family.
In the chaos and whirlwind of our wedding day, it was so reassuring to have LTDs as a part of it all. They contributed to ensuring that our day was absolute perfection. We cannot thank Emily, Janet, and Mark enough, in addition to the other wonderful wait staff and culinary pros behind the scenes! -

We loved worked with La-tea-da's for our rehearsal dinner at the Brawley Estate, they were so easy to work with, created the perfect menu for us, and the food was incredible! No issues with any part of the planning, and since they're an exclusive caterer for Brawley Estate they know the venue and know exactly how to set up for the perfect evening. We loved working with them! -

Beautiful presentations. Phenomenal food!! Great to work with! Awesome awesome staff. I had no worries or issues because LTD’s and Janet watched out for every detail - even non- catering related. Highest recommendations! Perfect wedding -

Vanessa Sent on 09/15/2017Samuel was very helpful with everything in planning the details of our menu. Even as far as going out and picking the exact color of blush napkin I wanted. There is never a moment when my glass was empty. They went above and beyond to provide the best service for our guests and us. The food was exquisite and the service was on point. The server's came out to the wedding party with hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we were taking pictures while cocktail hour was going on so we were able to enjoy as well. I was by far impressed with the level of service that we received. All of our guests were as well and mentioned what a beautiful wedding it was and how they were blown away by the food and service. Samuel is the greatest and our life saver and everyone loved your menu ideas! La Tea Da was very flexible with the menu which we loved! We will truly cherish that day and the memory! Thank for everything! -

Lexi Sent on 07/08/2014La-Tea-Da's catered both my rehearsal dinner and wedding this past April, and I don't even have words to express how amazing the whole experience was. Being a foodie and someone who works in the industry, I have pretty high standards. I certainly didn't make it easy on them! We brought La-Tea-Da's on as our caterer at the last minute. Seriously last minute - like a week before. Did I mention my wedding was multicultural and I wanted to include a good amount of Venezuelan and Spanish inspired dishes? Janet met with me to discuss the menus only days before the wedding, and she put my mind at ease instantly. All of the challenges I thought would be insurmountable, namely my eclectic taste in food, only seemed to excite her more as she threw out creative solutions and suggestions with the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store. In the end, I wound up with my dream menu. Incredible passed hors d'oeuvres, Paella, tapas, shrimp & grits, ceviche, gazpacho, tacos, sushi, a Venezuelan parilla station, late night Philly cheese steak sliders, and more somehow all came together beautifully to create one of the best food experiences I've ever had. My guests consistently echo my sentiments as well. My only regret was not taking the time to eat even more, though it wasn't for lack of trying on the part of the staff! We arrived to the reception venue to a lovely candlelit sampling for two while the cocktail hour wrapped up and the amazing staff diligently kept our cups and plates full the whole night. I could go on and on, but let's just say I'm anxiously awaiting a ten year vow renewal of some sort so I can call La-Tea-Da's up and do it all again. -

Ruishon Sent on 09/23/2013I chose La-tea-da's because they offered sushi during cocktail hour...that was honestly my deciding factor. The food was amazing and the service was fabulous. My guests loved the food and was thrilled that they were served so quickly once the reception started. I'd like to personally thank Elizabeth for ensuring that my bridal party was fed during cocktail hour and that my husband and I were served first. I also thought it was a sweet touch that my bridal party and family were served plated meals, as opposed to the family style service. That was very special!
They are very busy so it took a little while to get an answer from time to time, but that was okay. The service, personalized touches, and the food outshine all of that.
Elizabeth, thank you so much for our little plate of spicy tuna rolls on the sweetheart table. We loved it!!

This caterer works onsite at the Brawley Estate (in addition to being an offsite caterer as well). Because we booked the venue, we were obligated to use this caterer. Thankfully, the food is great and the presentation is nice. Food is a critical part of a wedding and they delivered. The staff was courteous and professional as well. They also provided the linens for an add'l cost. -

La-Tea-Da's catered our wedding in July. The food was delicious and they had many options to choose from. La-tea-da's was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating to all of our needs! They took many safety precautions and listened to all of our concerns and needs during the pandemic! -

My party was November 2019 and folks are still raving about the food. Although the food was scrumptious, I was even more impressed with the service. You and your team did everything you promised and more, including helping me locate my guest book and setting it up before my arrival. The staff was well-dressed and friendly. Sabrina Sent on 11/02/2014La-Tea-Da's was absolutely wonderful! Elizabeth was always quick to return emails and calls. I had a lot of changes and Elizabeth was always very patient with me and offered up suggestions when I felt lost or overwhelmed. We did a tasting and there were a couple of things that we didn't love and she was willing to change up the recipe to my tasting. Very flexible and pricing was reasonable.
At the wedding, the creative displays were amazing! I thought that everything would be on platters and chafing dishes but everything was out the box creative and fun. and the food was so amazing! I still have guests who talk about the food and the design of each station.
My only challenge was in the beginning it was very hard to get someone to return my calls/emails in order to get initial menu/pricing. I almost gave up but called one more time. After that, Elizabeth was always quick to return my calls and emails.
I highly recommend La-Tea-Da's for any of your catering needs!

Ruth Sent on 06/17/2014Elizabeth and the La Tea Da's team were absolutely amazing to work with and I would highly recommend them to any friend or future bride! From the beginning of the planning process Elizabeth worked with my fiancé and I to find out what we liked, what we envisioned for our wedding day and discussed numerous options with us to achieve those things. On top of being amazing to work with their catering and food options are unique and delicious! Many of our guest commented on how tasty all of the food was and what beautiful presentation and detail was put into each item. Elizabeth also helped us with week of/day of coordination helping to alleviate any stress I may have. Everything went so smoothly, and when it did not (my dress bustle coming undone), Aaron (the LTD's designer) helped sew it back together so I could get back on the dance floor! Quality, professional service with delicious one of a kind food options for your wedding guests- it doesn't get any better! -

Make no mistake, we felt the services provided by LaTeaDas were great - from the taste of the food itself to the display and services of the staff. Brides should just be mindful that their original quote may not stand with flux in food pricing with COVID...so for budgetary purposes it made me go over what I had anticipated spending. This may be the same across the industry but it may be a good point to ask when looking into food vendors.
