Wedding Planner Approved!!

I am an event planner and designer who works with lots of different vendors and I am always so excited when I get the opportunity to work alongside Carra. Because that's what it is; working alongside her. She's so creative and thoughtful with each client, helping them design flowers that match and reflect their style and personality. She will also go way above and beyond the day of, helping with whatever needs to get done and adjusting flowers on site when something has been changed or forgotten. If I could work every wedding with Carra, I'd be one happy planner!

Absolutely gorgeous flowers

Our wedding flowers exceeded our wildest dreams. Carra’s talent and artistry are astounding. She understood our vision and executed it flawlessly. Not only that, she was so fun to work with. We cannot speak more highly of Carra. Truly amazing.

Unbelievably beautiful flowers and service!

I would highly recommend the floral vendor! WOW! The flowers surpassed our recommendations! So beautiful! They were wonderful to work with! Very kind and professional! They went above and beyond to make us happy! Amazing! The flowers were gorgeous!

Carra is very artistic! Your not getting flower arrangement when you order from Carra your getting a piece of art. Her arrangements at my daughter and son-in-law's wedding were exceptionally beautiful. She out did any of our expectations. I will be using La Petite Fleur again for arrangements.

Carra did an amazing job in transforming my inspiration/ideas into a beautifully executed bridal bouquet, MOA/Jr BMs bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres and memorial arrangements. Plus, she made the process stress free - - and fun! Highly recommend the work that La Petite Fleur puts into their arrangements. I'll will be working with them again!!

My wife and I were so impressed - Carra and her team were so creative and so fun to work with. They completely understood our bold elegant aesthetic and they delivered the most beautiful and most exciting flowers I've ever seen. Carra and her team are amazing! There was no doubt in my mind that I was going to use La Petite Fleur for my wedding florals. Meeting to discuss my ideas and collaborating together with Carra was an awesome treat; she heard my wants and thoughts and made them into a floral dream! My center pieces were breathtaking and my bouquets and boutonnieres were beautiful and packed with attitude! Our flowers were perfect and I couldn't be happier with everything Carra did for my husband and I.

Carra was so easy to work with, extremely knowledge and she made the whole floral experience stress-free. It was like she knew exactly what we wanted after a brief conversation and looking at a few pictures. My bouquet was beautiful and all the table arrangements were outstanding made the reception venue look sophisticated.

I had my wedding in MN but live in PA so I ordered my flowers from La Petite Fleur sight unseen. I knew what I wanted, a flower crown similar to one I found on Pinterest and boutonnieres with succulents and a pop of color that would match the flower crowns me, my maid of honor and flower girl would be wearing. Carra, the owner and I emailed back and forth a few times and I put all my trust in her to do me right and I have to say- the flowers made my wedding! I didn't feel like a bride until I put the flower crown on. It absolutely transformed my wedding into a beautiful ethereal bohemia inspired party. Everyone complemented me on my crown, it was absolutely stunning and drew such great attention. I highly recommend La Petite Fleur and will be using them for every flower need I have in the future.

Carra and Amanda with La Petit Fleur did the flowers for my wedding in September 2015. As some one who isn't very visual and knows absolutely nothing about flowers, that part of the planning was really difficult for me. Carra was clearly very knowledgeable but she might as well have been speaking a different language while trying to describe her vision for the wedding. She was very patient with my questions and uncertainty. I was encouraged by my wedding planner to simply let Carra be the artist and allow her to use her skills and just trust her and I am just SO glad that I did. The arrangements were all absolutely perfect and beautiful. I was so blown away with the end product. We've received so many compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. We couldn't be more thankful that we chose La Petit Fleur and couldn't be more grateful to Amanda and Carra for being awesome.

Carra hit it out of the ballpark for my daughter's wedding. Not only is she an amazing floral designer, but she is great fun to work with....very funny! Carra took our vision of rustic elegance to new heights....the wedding was at the St. Paul Hotel and several of the staff told me that this was their favorite décor they had seen. The bouquets were beautiful, the set-up was not only on time, but early! Amanda (works for Carra) is fantastic as well....both go above and beyond. I can't imagine a better experience with a florist!

I just loved working with La Petite Fleur. Carra listened to all of my plans and provided a gorgeous bouquet and centerpieces for my wedding. Many guests commented about the thistles and lotus pods that were part of her displays - I thought everything was interesting, creative, and full of joy. I highly recommend working with her!

We use Carra and her team quite a bit for weddings but this one was extra special as she helped us with my best friend and co-owner of Rosetree Weddings & Events VOW RENEWAL! Janea and Aaron were blown away by the flowers that Carra put together and so was I! She also made this amazing garland with lights that was seriously the best!! Carra & La Petite Fleur are in my opinion the BEST in the Business! Carra was Amazing! All I knew was that I wanted an All White bouquet with some natural greens...I had no idea which flowers nor did I care very much! BUT she created a masterpiece!!!!!

I will find excuses to use her again in the future...for parties & anniversaries! AND anyone who is looking for an amazing florist for a special occasion....LOOK NO FURTHER! You will NOT be disappointed!

The flowers were absolutely stunning, and working with Jessica was fantastic. We met with Jessica initially to go through our ideas, and right away we knew we wanted to work with her and La Petite Fleur. My husband and I weren't sure what exactly to do for our wedding - in fact, weren't sure where to start. She created a vision for our day based on our reactions to photos of other weddings, and the end result was spectacular, and fit our style perfectly. She also made recommendations about the reception setup that would be in line with our style - details such as having floor length table cloths for all tables, high and low - that had nothing to do with flowers but contributed to the overall look and feel that we wanted. Jessica was professional, friendly, and extremely responsive, even to our last minute questions and changes. She was also flexible in letting us borrow several of the vessels that the flowers came in, so that we could get them into vases at home to enjoy for a few more days after the event.

From my cascade bouquet, to the huge lush centerpieces, to the personal flowers for family members, to the beautiful blooms tucked into every inch of the reception site, all set amidst hundreds of candles, she created the perfect ambiance for our event. My husband and I would absolutely recommend Jessica and La Petite Fleur to anyone!

I would absolutely recommend La Petite Fleur to anyone getting married in the Twin Cities area. Carra was the perfect amount of professional, thorough, creative, and open-minded, while not being over-bearing. She's incredibly creative and guided me through the whole process. We had about 4 different center pieces scattered throughout our LARGE reception area, and she was able to tie the whole thing together perfectly. I was blown away when I walked into the reception! If you want to enjoy your wedding day and not have to worry about renting center piece stuff from lots of different vendors, go with Carra. She has everything you could want (beautiful flowers and all the table bells and whistles). MOST IMPORTANTLY, on the day of your wedding, you won't have to worry for one minute about things getting done and getting done right at your reception site. When La Petite Fleur committed to doing our wedding, they were completely invested. Thank you for everything!

La Petite Fleur did an AMAZING JOB!!! Everyone, including myself, loved the flowers. They were exactly what I wanted. I sat down with Carra for the initial consult, and she helped me figure out what I wanted and liked--since I know absolutely nothing about flowers. She was also fun and energetic. Carra responded quickly to my emails (including my growing number of emails toward the wedding date), which made me feel much calmer. I would most definitely recommend her for other brides. Carra did a SPECTACULAR job!!! I knew she was highly rated, but I never thought she could exceed my expectations to the extent that she did. Both my husband and I were blown away at how beautiful all of the floral arrangements looked at our wedding. My bouquet was truly one-of-a-kind and I got a ton of compliments on it. She also had ideas for re-purposing flowers from the ceremony at the reception site, which helped with our tight budget. When I walked into our reception hall I was taken aback by her work...the flowers, petals, candles, centerpieces...it all looked incredible. I would HIGHLY recommend La Petite Fleur to anyone who wants a florist who will blow their expectations out of the water! Thanks so much Carra!!

Carra and Jessica are just amazing. They created the floral decor and personal flowers for my daughter's wedding and were just wonderful to work with. Carra was so easy going and she is so creative. My daughter wanted a brooch bouquet and it was just stunning! The altar bouquet and the ones they created for the candelabras were amazing! We were still enjoying all the flowers in our home for days and days later. If you are looking for a creative, out-of-the-box florist that will make your day unique and jaw droppingly (its a word...haha) beautiful, La Petite Fleur is your vendor. Carra is just an amazing woman! She did such a great job on my wedding that everyone was talking about how beautiful the flowers were. I did spend a significant amt, but Carra was willing to work with any budget. She is the type of florist that basically goes out of the box and does something creative, but not so out there that it looks weird. Check out her fb page as well as her website and you will know what I mean. Her work is elegant, but unique and she was totally fun/easy to work with. I just told her roughly what I wanted and she printed out all the flower pictures and what she would do with them so I have an idea. When she delivered my bouquet I wanted more blue and Poof! there were more blue flowers that she brought from her car in an instant to add it to my bouquet. Cannot say enough about her artistic eye and inspiring work!

Hiring La Petite Fleur was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The flowers were creative, unique, and perfect! The idea to include a "feature flower" in each of the bridesmaids' bouquets and the groomsmen's boutonnieres let each member of the wedding party stand out. And of course, Carra and Jessica went above and beyond with the bridal bouquet, and it was the most beautiful arrangement I've ever seen. Thank you so much!!

We were so impressed by La Petite Fleur! We had a small wedding in a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis and we wanted something classic and elegant. They exceeded our expectations in every way. The bouquets, corsages, and boutineers were gorgeous. Carra was very intuitive about the kind of styles/themes we wanted, and working with both Carra and Jessica was a pleasure. Also, they were genuinely excited about their work and our wedding, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend La Petite Fleur!

Our event was a rehearsal dinner prior to our son's wedding. Our daughter in law and son chose la Petite Fleur for their wedding the following day so I called them two weeks before our event and asked if they would/could provide the flowers for our dinner that coordinated with the wedding flowers but did not duplicate them. Within two days a representative had reviewed our space and sent pictures of the types of flowers and vases they would use. The night of our event was truly enhanced by the wonderfully artistic floral designs throughout the room along with votives galore. The space was beautiful. The flowers were unique and plentiful. The service, set up, etc., was impeccable. Thank you.

Cara is truly amazing! She is an absolutely sweetheart, very funny and wonderful to work with. And her work is exceptional. My mother & I met with a few florists in the area, but with Cara it was easy to translate a few scattered ideas I had into the vision I didn't even know could've happened :) Everyone who attended our wedding was blown away by the ambiance she and her team created. And she was able to do so many things with the budget we gave her.

The other thing I appreciate about Cara was how well she worked with our other vendors. Some of our vendors were not as reliable or as thorough as she is and behind the scenes, she helped push them to be more accountable.

Thank you Cara, for everything!! We owe you so much for the day :)

I had a small wedding and left several important details until the last minute, for example, my wedding flowers!!! Carra at La Petite Fleur was incredibly helpful and intuitive when it came to my bouquet design. I really appreciate how willing she was to put together everything I needed with a wonderful attitude and little time to spare! The flowers were beautiful and of very high quality, and the extra touches she added were simply inspired.
I highly recommend supporting this local vendor and I suggest finding them on Facebook to view many of their designs.

Carra of La Petite Fleur is a wonderful person to work with. She was the first vendor to really make me excited for my wedding! She took my basic ideas and fleshed them out into a beautiful decor. My bouquet was exquisite - with peacock feathers, purple artichokes (!), purple roses and irises - she captured my taste and how I wanted to feel perfectly. The reception space was transformed by her centerpieces and floral arrangements. She used a variety of ideas and made it cohesive. She incorporated family items into the decor to really make it personal. She was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and so very creative. She is enthusiastic and you can tell she loves her job. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She never made me feel like my ideas were silly or that my budget was out of range - she makes things happen! Carra and her team did a GREAT job. The flowers were beautiful and everything was so colorful. She was so easy to work with all along. Even from our first meeting where I had troubles putting thoughts into words, she was helpful. Our setup changed drastically with numbers approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the wedding and she was flexible in changing the table arrangements. She also did a great job of using the decorations we provided (photo frames with pictures of us in them) in a way that looked cohesive with the floral pieces. She came in right at budget too, with beautiful flowers that lasted for at least another 1-2 weeks. I would highly recommend La Petite Fleur!

If you are looking for a truly unique wedding flower experience then this is your vendor. Carra is fabulous as were all the flowers for my daughter's wedding. She is very creative and offers great suggestions. My daughter did not want any of the traditional wedding flowers and Carra delivered and then some. My daughter also lives in CA and I was planning the wedding from MN and met with Carra first. She put together a detailed estimate that included pictures of the suggested flowers and emailed them to my daughter. We then were able to semi-finalize things two months before the weeding when my daughter was able to be home, and Carra even accomodated some last minutes changes. Carra is extremely professional, responsive, offers a good value, great products and wants to make sure you have exactly what you want and unique to you. We recommend her 100%!

Working with this company and the two ladies was nothing but amazing! We planned an out of town wedding at a winery and never got to meet Carra (bummer!) but she still pulled off exactly what my vision was! I gave her guidelines and pictures of my decor through email and she coordinated perfectly! They are so talented that I was never concerned how it would turn out. The travel and set up fees were also a steal as well! And it was so convenient that I never had to worry about setting up the flowers myself. So great to work with, and beautiful flowers! Carra helped me bring everything I envisioned for my wedding day to life. It was more breathtaking and detailed than I could ever imagine. Sometimes it's hard to visualize what everything will look like because with your flowers it is usually just concept but I couldn't have been more happy with the finished product and how everything was displayed. I worked with Jessica at La Petite Fleur and she was AMAZING throughout all of the planning, delivery, and clean up! I felt like we immediately clicked during my initial consultation and I knew that that if I went with Jessica I wouldn't be disappointed! We looked through inspiration pictures I had collected on pinterest and communicated back and forth via email as my vision of the wedding continued to evolve. She was always there for me with suggestions on favors, table cloth colors, etc. I felt confident with Jessica throughout the entire process because I knew she was excited for my day too! Of course, when the flowers were delivered they were just beautiful and exceeded any and all of my expectations. Several of my bridesmaids ended up taking their bouquets home with them- through security at the airport and on a three hour flight back to the east coast! I can't thank Jessica enough!

I still can't believe what an outstanding job La Petite Fleur did on our wedding flowers and overall wedding decor (table arrangements, ceremony area, etc.). It was awesome working with Carra from our very first meeting. I told her where we were getting married, what colors we wanted and a bit about our personalities (my husband and I are both botanists/ecologists - very into plants in a geeky way) and then I just stood back - she immediately had ideas and started sketching them out and sharing them with me. I knew when I left that day that we were in very capable hands and did not need to spend another minute thinking about wedding flowers. As the wedding date approached, Carra and I communicated often via e-mail. I made changes up until the last minute and Carra just rolled with it. She was very responsive - returning e-mails within an hour or two. The day of the wedding, we did a walk through with Carra a couple of hours before the ceremony. We couldn't believe how she came through for us. It was more than we could have asked for because we had never seen anything like it! She definitely got our "earthy elegance" theme (Carra came up with that theme name for us during our first meeting). We received many compliments from our wedding guests and I’ve already given La Petite Fleur’s contact information to a few of them! I recommend La Petite Fleur wholeheartedly - very creative, great to work with, one of a kind floral design.

Carra was great. We had a few items we made adjustments to as we went and she was amazing! Everything turned out better than we had thought. Carra provided flowers for my wedding last weekend. We wanted lilacs, and Carra worked with me to put together bouquets and arrangements that combined lilacs with other similar-looking, but slightly less expensive flowers. In planning out the flowers, Carra was well-prepared with photos and books of available options, so I could pick out things I liked, even when I didn't know the name of a particular flower. Everything looked great and smelled wonderful. I got exactly what I wanted! I also really appreciated the full service, including the breakdown option. It was great not to have to worry about cleaning and returning rental vases at the end of the night.

My husband and I live in Nashville, TN and had to plan our Minnesota wedding from a distance. It was tough to make decisions about the wedding being so far away but La Petite Fleur exceeded our expectations. The flowers were affordable, the arrangements were magnificent and we couldn't have made a better choice. Give Carra an idea of what you want for your event and let her run with it! I had NO doubt that our wedding would be beautiful with Carra's creativity and work ethic. I'm a rather detail oriented person so when our photographer, Bryan Newfield,mentioned La Petite Fleur's attention to detail combined with massive amounts of creativity, I immediately jumped on the phone with them! From the get go, Carra has been nothing short of amazing. She reminds me of McGuyver and is able to create masterpieces out of ANYTHING. She knew the exact ambiance I wanted to create from the moment I began reciting a few flowers, during our very first phone call. Carra is extremely timely and returns phone calls/emails in minutes (literally). They were even able to make last minute centerpiece editions, two days before the wedding, no questions asked. The end product, you ask? An elegant and glamorous affair complete with black ostrich feathers, silver painted umbrella ferns, roses and many other wonderful flowers! What I love most about La Petite Fleur is that each time they create arrangements for a wedding, they treat it as if it is the most important event of the century. We hired La Petite Fleur to provide the floral arrangements at our wedding in November 2011. From our first meeting to the final product it was an absolute pleasure to work with Carra and our arrangements turned out better than we could've imagined. We were very particular about the colors we wanted incorporated in our flowers and Carra nailed it. Everything looked amazing and we would definitely use La Petite Fleur again!

They donated a specific amount of money for a wedding package that we received for my husband being in the army. The flowers were beautiful, I loved my bouquet. The flowers and centerpieces were just what I pictured they would be. They worked to stay within our budget yet still make everything look great. They were very nice and professional. I have no complaints!

I was speechless. Carra and her team are amazing and so talented! What they did with my simple request (all shades of purple carnations) was AMAZING! I was absolutely blown away when I walked into my reception area, the tables were fantastic! Carra has a passion and creativity that I truly admire. The floral tribute that Carra did for my brother's visitation was simply beautiful. I felt like she really cared about making it perfect for our family. It was important to me that the tribute showcase his passions for life, and Carra listened intently as I described each and every item. My family could not have been more pleased at the way it turned out--better than my non-creative ind could have imagined. It was a wonderful tribute to his life, and many people commented on it.

The flowers that La Petite Fleur designed for my wedding were absolutley beautiful. Carra really took the time to get to know me and understand my personaility and put all of that into the flower arrangements that she did. Everytihng was perfect. Besides the beauty of the flowers all of the small touches that she did really added to the ambiance of my event. It's not easy to make barbed wire and skulls look classy and sophisticated but Carra did it. Everything was perfect and my guests absolutely raved about my flowers.

Carra and Jessica were wonderful from the very first design meeting. They worked with me to fit a truly memorable floral display within our budget. Seeing their previous work, I trusted them completely after our first meeting to make an assortment of arrangements that were each different but true to the overall aesthetic of the night. They exceeded my expectations: the arrangements were eclectic, textural, seasonal, quirky, and even humorous... and all placed in the venue perfectly. Searching for a wedding florist can be hard, and there are a lot of options out there. I knew from the the first email I received from Carra that she was the florist for me. Not only was she quick at responding, she was thorough, knowledgable and so much fun to work with! Carra knows her stuff, and her creative genius is amazing. Every single piece she makes is completely unique, and all of them are amazing! She actually listens to what you're looking for, and then makes it even better! Carra of La Petite Fleur was so great to work with, she made everything easy and fun, she somehow was able to reach into my brain and create exactly the vision I had for the wedding. She worked with us to create something that fit our aesthetics and our budget, the designs she created made jaws drop- they were so amazing. Honestly, I feel like the value of her product was much greater than what we paid. You can always tell when someone has true passion for what they do, and Carra most definitely proves that she is passionate about her work and the end results truly proved how talented she really is. I would recommend her to anyone who cares about having beautiful, creative and completely original designs that are not cookie cutter or boring. I must add that a week after the wedding, most of the flowers were still thriving- how cool is that!
