Desiree is the most prepared and professional stylist I have had the pleasure of working with. She put me at ease when she arrived early with all of her tools on board. She was beyond prepared, calm and made sure that everyone had their hair/make up done beautifully & on time. In the midst of what could have been total chaos, Desiree was the calm in the storm. Three words: grounded, graceful & glamorous. -

I'm so glad I hired Desiree to do hair for myself and my bridesmaids. After my first trial, though she did my hair just like the inspo pic, I wasn't enamored with it so I went back fir another trial. It still wasn't exactly what I was hoping for (though again just like the inspo pic) so Desiree used her creative talents to make a small tweak in the style, a way I wasn't used to wearing my bangs, and it was perfect!
On my wedding day she arrived early and provided a calm disposition while she made all our hair beautiful. She stayed after she was done to make sure everything was perfect until I walked out for my first look with my future husband. And she helped my sister with the insane amount of buttons on my dress.
I felt beautiful, like a queen and my hairstyle held up all evening--even though it hit 92 degrees!
I highly recommend her. Thank you Desiree!!! -

My wedding
Desiree was so amazing! She made my vision for my hair and makeup come to life! She was so enjoyable and would talk and dance with us while we were all getting ready! 10/10 -

Hire Desiree for your wedding, you’ll be in the best hands!
It’s taken me over a year to write this review, I could never find the right words to express my extreme gratitude, grace, beauty and professionalism that Desiree provided for me and my family. She constantly strives to improve her skills and talent by attending top of the line conferences throughout the country and commits to on-going education so that she is on the top of her field in every way possible for your biggest day. You and your bridal party will be in the best hands when you hire Desiree and her team for hair and make-up. You will also have the support of an amazing woman on one of the most stressful and joyous days of your life. Shit hit the fan right before hair and make-up session started (I was told my my dad was in a terrible car accident, he would be okay, but he was in the hospital) she took my hand, was there by my side, and made sure I looked amazing no matter how many tears I cried that day (there were a lot). If you’ve never met Desiree, she’ll be a great friend at the end of your amazing day. You’ll thank her for her thoughtful touches. You’ll be grateful for her bountiful knowledge and experience that will be captured in your day forever. Thank you Desiree for everything!!! -

Lovely and Talented
I must have talked to dozen of Hair & Makeup artist when looking for the ONE to make me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. I was shocked on the cost of the services alone, and the lack of flexibility of receiving my deposit back if my venue cancels due to COVID. I knew after half way through my first conversation with Desiree that she was the one, and after my trial run, it was clear I made the right decision. She was the utmost professional, and since she's a self diagnosed GERMAPHOBE, her sanitizing practices were impeccable, and I felt completely safe. Desiree is a very seasoned artist. She made me look and feel so beautiful and I forever be grateful that I found her.

In addition to Desiree working her magic on my look, as well as my mother and maid of honor, she made the experience fun! We chatted and laughed, and she was extremely patient with my flower girls, who were having the time of their life getting ready for their first wedding!

I got married on May 13th, 2022. My Maid of Honor and I booked our hair styling with Desiree at La Muse and we couldn't have been happier. She was very responsive and very sweet. She made sure to ask lots of questions about what I wanted for my hair style and delivered a gorgeous look! My Maid of Honor and I were not disappointed! We loved it. I would definitely recommend Desiree for your hair styling needs! -

Desiree is such a wonderful and talented person! Both my bridal makeup consultation and day-of bridal makeup looks were absolutely amazing. On the day of my wedding, she played relaxing music for me and helped to make me feel more at ease from all of the usual stress that comes with weddings. On top of that, my friends and family loved her! She is very knowledgeable and explains what is she is doing and why as she works with you to create your desired look. She did makeup for my mother and close friend as well and they both looked beautiful and enjoyed their experience with her just as much as I did. I highly recommend Desiree for any beauty needs! You will not be disappointed! -

Absolutely Amazing!
I can't say enough good things about Desiree! She did an absolutely spectacular job on mine and my bridal parties makeup and hair; we all looked so beautiful. The wedding was a destination wedding for all involved. We flew in to meet with Desiree for the trial hair and makeup months before wedding. She was very hygienic with all makeup. She listened to wishes and made my daughters dream come true. I also had my hair & makeup done. Mommy here ;). It was absolutely beautiful!! I really enjoyed her lovely company as well. The important things to me were met. She did what she said she was going to, when she said she was going to, charged agreed upon price, and performed the service with a smile on her face and kindness in her heart. Stellar service! I highly recommend!! Picture of my daughter and my hair included!!
