I genuinely don’t know how we would have had the wedding of our dreams without Veronica, Martina, and their incredible team.
Planning a destination wedding in Tuscany came with a lot of moving pieces, and we definitely had some crazy asks along the way. No matter what we threw at them, they worked with us to figure out how to make it happen and somehow executed everything even better than we imagined.
From the moment we arrived in Italy, we felt completely taken care of. Everything was handled, everything was ready, and we were able to actually be present and enjoy the week with our friends and family without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. They thought of things before we even had the chance to think of them and made the entire experience feel completely seamless.
But what really made Veronica, Martina, and the team so special was how much they genuinely cared. By the end of the week, it didn’t feel like we just had wedding planners there with us. It felt like we had family. They celebrated with us, supported us, kept everything moving, and went above and beyond in ways we will never forget.
Our wedding truly would not have been what it was without them. They took everything we envisioned, including some of our crazier ideas, and brought it to life so beautifully. We will forever be grateful for the amount of love, work, and care they put into making our wedding week what it was.

We had the privilege of working with Veronica and the team at La dolce Weddings. My amazing husband actually found Veronica and we knew from our first video call, she was the planner we wanted to work with. From the start she was very respectful of our budget and the vision we wanted to execute with our wedding. She spent months narrowing down venues and vendors that worked for us until we got it right. We finally landed on our dream venue, Villa Rizzardi in Verona. We flew to Italy for. Your and tasting of the venue and Veronica handled the rest. She communicated and negotiated with vendors to keep us within budget at all times. The Notion app, as well as excel spreadsheets were constantly updated for us to keep on track. On top of the wedding day, Veronica also helped planned an amazing welcome dinner, as well as coordinating a hotel block for our guests. the biggest thing for us was that we were treated like family, not like clients. Veronica was always honest and realistic with us. In the end we ended up with the perfect wedding that is worthy of a magazine. -

¿Cómo poner en palabras el agradecimiento que sentimos hacia tres mujeres extraordinarias que hicieron de nuestra boda uno de los recuerdos más hermosos de nuestras vidas?
Nuestra historia con Serena y Verónica comenzó mucho antes de aquel inolvidable 23 de septiembre en Toscana. Desde el primer contacto sentimos una conexión muy especial. Curiosamente, Verónica tenía una personalidad muy parecida a la de José, mientras que Serena conectaba muchísimo con la de Adolfo. Desde el inicio hubo una química maravillosa, una combinación perfecta de profesionalismo, cercanía y confianza que, sin saberlo, sería el comienzo de algo mucho más grande.
Organizar una boda desde otro país, a miles de kilómetros de distancia, no es una tarea sencilla. Teníamos muchísimas ideas, sueños, expectativas y, por supuesto, un presupuesto que queríamos respetar. Ellas supieron escucharnos, entender nuestra visión y guiarnos con una honestidad y transparencia que siempre agradeceremos. Nunca se trató simplemente de decirnos que sí a todo, sino de ayudarnos a tomar las mejores decisiones para hacer realidad lo que imaginábamos.
Un año antes de nuestra boda viajamos a Italia para conocer Tenuta Mocajo, hacer las pruebas del menú y visualizar los espacios donde celebraríamos uno de los días más importantes de nuestras vidas. Fue también la oportunidad de conocerlas personalmente. Y si ya nos habían conquistado con su profesionalismo, ese encuentro terminó de enamorarnos de ellas como personas. Descubrimos a dos mujeres trabajadoras, auténticas, transparentes y con una calidad humana extraordinaria.
Durante los meses siguientes, cada reunión por Zoom dejó de sentirse como una reunión de trabajo y comenzó a parecerse más a una conversación entre personas que se tenían un cariño especial. Ellas organizaban nuestras ideas, coordinaban proveedores, cuidaban cada detalle y nos ayudaban a construir el ritmo perfecto para nuestra celebración. Conforme avanzábamos, surgían nuevas ideas, nuevos deseos y pequeños cambios, y siempre encontramos en ellas disposición, soluciones y muchísimo compromiso.
Pero hubo algo que valoramos incluso más que su impecable trabajo: la tranquilidad que nos transmitieron.
Quienes han organizado una boda saben que, conforme se acerca la fecha, aparecen los nervios, las preocupaciones y esa sensación de querer tener absolutamente todo bajo control. Serena y Verónica siempre encontraban las palabras correctas para recordarnos que confiáramos en ellas, que todo iba a salir bien. Y así fue. Nos permitieron soltar las preocupaciones y disfrutar de un proceso que, gracias a ellas, recordaremos con muchísimo cariño.
La víspera de nuestra boda nos regalaron otro momento inolvidable. Llegaron con una sorpresa, un detalle profundamente significativo para Adolfo, algo que había mencionado mucho tiempo atrás en una conversación. Podría parecer un gesto pequeño, pero para nosotros significó muchísimo. Nos demostró que, más allá de contratos, reuniones y proveedores, realmente nos escuchaban y nos conocían. Que cada detalle importaba.
Esa noche, durante nuestro welcome dinner, compartimos con ellas y con Martina, quien se había incorporado al equipo semanas antes y rápidamente se ganó también nuestro cariño. Estábamos a pocas horas de casarnos, rodeados de ilusión, emoción y nervios, pero con la enorme tranquilidad de saber que estábamos en las mejores manos.
Y finalmente llegó el día que tanto habíamos soñado.
Desde temprano todo comenzó a cobrar vida. Los preparativos, el maquillaje, los peinados, los fotógrafos, nuestros trajes, los accesorios y cada pequeño detalle que durante tantos meses habíamos imaginado. Los proveedores que ellas habían seleccionado fueron maravillosos. Nuestras invitadas quedaron felices con sus maquillajes y peinados, y nosotros no podíamos estar más satisfechos con cada elección.
Sin embargo, hay un momento de ese día que Adolfo llevará guardado en su corazón para siempre.
Minutos antes de comenzar la ceremonia, los nervios eran inmensos. Era uno de esos instantes en los que todas las emociones se mezclan y resulta difícil explicar lo que uno siente. Serena estuvo ahí. Con una dulzura, una sensibilidad y un cariño tan genuinos que logró transmitirle una paz indescriptible. Su mamá no había podido estar presente y, por un instante, Serena le hizo sentir ese abrazo emocional, esa protección y ese amor maternal que tanto necesitaba en aquel momento.
Serena, quizá nunca llegués a dimensionar lo que significó ese gesto, pero Adolfo jamás lo va a olvidar.
Mientras nosotros vivíamos uno de los momentos más importantes de nuestras vidas, Verónica y Martina continuaban trabajando incansablemente, coordinando proveedores, supervisando montajes, cuidando los tiempos y asegurándose de que cada cosa sucediera exactamente como debía. Y aun en medio de tantas responsabilidades, siempre encontrábamos sus sonrisas, su entusiasmo y esa felicidad tan sincera de vernos disfrutar.
La ceremonia, el aperitivo, los discursos, la cena, el baile, nuestra sorpresa del karaoke… absolutamente todo fluyó de una manera espectacular. Cada espacio, cada transición y cada momento reflejaban meses de trabajo, dedicación y amor por lo que hacen.
Aquel 23 de septiembre no solamente vivimos la boda que habíamos soñado. Vivimos una celebración que superó nuestras expectativas y que permanecerá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
Y cuando todo terminó, llegó una parte para la que nadie nos había preparado: despedirnos de ellas.
Fue mucho más difícil de lo que imaginábamos. Porque después de tantos meses compartiendo sueños, conversaciones, preocupaciones, risas y emociones, ya no sentíamos que nos estábamos despidiendo de nuestras wedding planners. Sentíamos que nos despedíamos de tres amigas maravillosas.
Hoy, al recordar nuestra boda, sentimos una felicidad inmensa, pero también una nostalgia muy especial. Nos hacen falta. Extrañamos nuestras conversaciones, nuestras reuniones y esa complicidad tan bonita que construimos juntos.
José y Adolfo tenemos algo muy claro: queremos que Serena, Verónica y Martina sigan formando parte de nuestras vidas. Ya hablamos de volver a contar con ellas para celebrar nuestros aniversarios más importantes, pero también queremos compartir cafés, conversaciones y reencuentros, ya sea en Italia o en Costa Rica, donde siempre tendrán las puertas abiertas y dos amigos esperándolas con muchísimo cariño.
Porque lo que nació de esta experiencia no termina con una boda. Nació una amistad que esperamos conservar por el resto de nuestras vidas.
A cualquier pareja que esté soñando con casarse en Italia, queremos decirle algo desde lo más profundo de nuestro corazón: elegir a Serena y Verónica fue una de las mejores decisiones que tomamos. Su profesionalismo, honestidad, transparencia, sensibilidad y extraordinaria atención a los detalles son excepcionales. Pero lo que verdaderamente las hace únicas es el amor que ponen en su trabajo y la manera tan especial en que hacen sentir a las personas.
Serena, Verónica y Martina: gracias por cuidarnos, por escucharnos, por entendernos, por tranquilizarnos, por cada detalle y por haber puesto tanto de ustedes en nuestra historia.

Some people come into our lives to make a dream come true and end up becoming part of our story forever.
How can we possibly put into words the gratitude we feel toward three extraordinary women who made our wedding one of the most beautiful memories of our lives?
Our story with Serena and Verónica began long before that unforgettable September 23rd in Tuscany. From our very first conversation, we felt a truly special connection. Interestingly enough, Verónica had a personality very similar to José’s, while Serena connected so naturally with Adolfo’s. From the very beginning, there was wonderful chemistry between us, a perfect combination of professionalism, warmth, and trust that, without us even realizing it, would become the beginning of something much greater.
Planning a wedding from another country, thousands of miles away, is no easy task. We had so many ideas, dreams, expectations, and, of course, a budget we wanted to respect. They knew exactly how to listen to us, understand our vision, and guide us with a level of honesty and transparency for which we will always be grateful. It was never simply about saying yes to everything we wanted, but rather about helping us make the best decisions to bring our dreams to life.
A year before our wedding, we traveled to Italy to visit Tenuta Mocajo, experience the menu tasting, and envision the spaces where we would celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. It was also our opportunity to finally meet them in person. And if they had already won us over with their professionalism, meeting them made us fall even more in love with who they were as people. We discovered two incredibly hardworking, genuine, transparent women with extraordinary hearts.
Over the following months, every Zoom meeting gradually stopped feeling like a business meeting and began to feel more like a conversation between people who genuinely cared about one another. They organized our ideas, coordinated vendors, paid attention to every detail, and helped us create the perfect flow for our celebration. As the planning progressed, new ideas, wishes, and little changes naturally came along, and we always found them ready to help, offer solutions, and give their absolute best.
But there was something we valued even more than their impeccable work: the peace of mind they gave us.
Anyone who has planned a wedding knows that as the big day approaches, nerves, worries, and the desire to have absolutely everything under control begin to take over. Serena and Verónica always found the right words to remind us to trust them, that everything was going to be beautiful, and that we had nothing to worry about. And they were right. They allowed us to let go of our concerns and truly enjoy a journey that, thanks to them, we will always remember with so much love.
The day before our wedding, they gave us another unforgettable moment. They arrived with a surprise, an incredibly meaningful gift for Adolfo, something he had casually mentioned in a conversation a long time before. It might have seemed like a small gesture, but to us, it meant the world. It showed us that beyond contracts, meetings, and vendors, they had genuinely listened to us and gotten to know us. Every little detail mattered.
That evening, during our welcome dinner, we spent time with them and with Martina, who had joined the team a few weeks earlier and quickly earned a special place in our hearts as well. We were just hours away from getting married, surrounded by excitement, anticipation, and nerves, yet feeling an incredible sense of calm knowing we were in the very best hands.
And finally, the day we had dreamed of for so long arrived.
From early in the morning, everything began coming to life. The preparations, the makeup, the hairstyles, the photographers, our suits, our accessories, and every little detail we had imagined for so many months. The vendors they had selected were absolutely wonderful. Our guests were thrilled with their hair and makeup, and we couldn’t have been happier with every choice.
However, there is one particular moment from that day that Adolfo will carry in his heart forever.
Just minutes before the ceremony began, the nerves were overwhelming. It was one of those moments when every emotion comes together, making it almost impossible to describe what you are feeling. Serena was right there. With such genuine tenderness, sensitivity, and affection, she managed to bring him an indescribable sense of peace. His mother had not been able to be there, and for a moment, Serena made him feel that emotional embrace, that protection, and that motherly love he needed so deeply at that very moment.
Serena, you may never fully realize how much that gesture meant, but Adolfo will never, ever forget it.
While we were experiencing one of the most important moments of our lives, Verónica and Martina continued working tirelessly, coordinating vendors, supervising the setup, managing the timing, and making sure everything unfolded exactly as it should. And even in the middle of so many responsibilities, we could always see their smiles, their enthusiasm, and the genuine happiness they felt watching us enjoy every moment.
The ceremony, the aperitivo, the speeches, the dinner, the dancing, our surprise karaoke experience… absolutely everything flowed beautifully. Every space, every transition, and every moment reflected months of hard work, dedication, and love for what they do.
That September 23rd, we didn’t simply have the wedding we had always dreamed of. We experienced a celebration that exceeded our expectations and will remain in our hearts forever.
And when everything came to an end, there was one moment we had never prepared ourselves for: saying goodbye to them.
It was far more difficult than we could ever have imagined. Because after so many months of sharing dreams, conversations, worries, laughter, and emotions, we no longer felt as though we were saying goodbye to our wedding planners. We felt as though we were saying goodbye to three wonderful friends.
Today, when we look back on our wedding, we feel overwhelming happiness, but also a very special kind of nostalgia. We miss them. We miss our conversations, our meetings, and that beautiful connection we built together.
José and Adolfo know one thing for certain: we want Serena, Verónica, and Martina to continue being part of our lives. We have already talked about having them by our side again to celebrate our most meaningful wedding anniversaries, but we also look forward to sharing coffees, conversations, and reunions, whether in Italy or Costa Rica, where they will always find our doors wide open and two friends waiting to welcome them with so much love.
Because what was born from this experience does not end with a wedding. A friendship was born, one that we hope to cherish for the rest of our lives.
To any couple dreaming of getting married in Italy, we want to say something from the bottom of our hearts: choosing Serena and Verónica was one of the best decisions we ever made. Their professionalism, honesty, transparency, sensitivity, and extraordinary attention to detail are truly exceptional. But what makes them genuinely unique is the love they pour into their work and the incredibly special way they make people feel.
Serena, Verónica, and Martina: thank you for taking care of us, for listening to us, for understanding us, for reassuring us, for every thoughtful detail, and for giving so much of yourselves to our story.
Thank you for making our dreams come true, but most importantly, thank you for giving us something we never imagined receiving when we first began this journey: your friendship.
If life ever gave us the opportunity to renew our vows and celebrate our love all over again, we wouldn’t think twice. We would choose Tuscany again, we would relive every single moment, and without the slightest doubt, we would choose you all over again. A thousand times over.
We arrived in Italy looking for the right people to organize our wedding, and we returned home with three extraordinary human beings who now hold a very special place in our hearts.

I hired Veronica and her team for the day of coordination service, as I am half Italian and had already chosen a venue close to where my family lived, and most of my vendors, luckily I had some local help. However I absolutely could not have done the wedding without Veronica, who helped me with all the final touches, gave me her honest opinion, support and brought everything together. She came with Serena for the actual day and together they were a force and also very fun! They navigated my difficult family dynamics and putting so much care in to everyone having an amazing day. My only regret is I didn't book them to help me for the Friday night as well! -

From our very first conversation, Veronica and Serena felt less like vendors and more like family. Over the two years we worked together, they never lost sight of our vision, and they somehow took the ideas swirling in our heads and turned them into something even more beautiful than we imagined.
Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming, but they took the stress off our shoulders completely. Even from across an ocean, we never felt lost or worried.

Wedding planner angels!
Veronica, Serena and Martina were the most amazing team throughout the entire wedding planning process. I had one of the toughest years at work that demanded more time than ever before, without the La Dolce team our wedding wouldn’t have been anywhere near what it was that day. We worked with the team since 2/2025 and I cant imagine even trying to communicate or plan anything without them. On the welcome party and wedding day, they handled EVERYTHING. I was able to relax on the wedding day and just focus on getting married which led to a perfect day. They also really looked out for the moms that day and the night before which I appreciated and my mom appreciated so much! Our family and friends also loved their team, we cannot recommend La Dolce enough if you want to be able to relax and enjoy your wedding day!

Veronica helped us in hosting a beautiful, intimate wedding weekend that went off without a hitch. She planned 2 events for 60 guests (Welcome Party and wedding day). We really enjoyed working with her, from our initial meeting through the event itself.
Veronica’s style is laid back and relaxed. She made sure that I, as the bride, was not stressed in the days leading up to the event or on wedding day. Veronica handled all communications with vendors, which was very helpful for us as Americans planning a wedding in Italy. She was a warm, calming presence throughout the weekend.

Hiring Veronica was the best decision I made for my destination wedding in Italy - it paid dividends!
I may be crazy having a destination wedding in a country I’ve never even visited and whose language I don’t speak. But I had my dream and vision … and I knew hiring the wedding planner was key to this.
Enter Veronica, and her partner Serena. They did everything - and I truly mean everything. You share you vision and requirements, and they go to work to deliver packages for you review and decision. They proposed venues and vendors, then did all the coordination w them. I loved that I worked with 1 person for everything. Talk about seamless!!
That’s why I say, it’s the best decision I made - Veronica made the planning process a breeze. And on the wedding day, all my dreams came true! She found me the most breathtaking venue, an incredible makeup artist, a photographer / videographer, and helped me pick the food menus. Just overall awesome experience! -

Gotta trust in Veronica
Veronica was great to work with and helped me get our wedding across the finish line. She helped by pulling in local vendors, who gave competitive rates especially for photography and flowers. She was the helpful link while planning a wedding from the States as the time difference became tricky to communicate with vendors during their work day. -
