Amazing Venue!

My daughter had a splendid wedding at La Cima. The food was so delicious. The venue is beautiful, we absolutely enjoyed the view. All of our guests raved about the food.
I can’t say enough about Makesha. She was so professional, attentive, incredibly kind and patient with us. Her entire staff was wonderful. All of our emails were answered quickly. Makesha went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I appreciate how accommodating she was when we had to make some changes due to COVID-19.
We truly enjoyed having a wedding here and absolutely recommend this venue.

The service is amazing

Makesha is amazing, I'm sure drove her crazy with all my question, but she never showed it, she was very helpful with everything. The view was amazing, food was great all so. My guess loved the venue.

This place a great views! At night it looks amazing!! I just wish it wasn’t so separated and flowed a bit better.

A Fantastic Wedding Venue

Our wedding and reception at La Cima Club were absolutely perfect! The staff was very professional and friendly, the food was excellent, and the space and views were remarkable. Working with Makesha was an absolute pleasure. She was very attentive to our needs, extremely accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure our special day went without a hitch.

Everything was perfect! The quality of service from everyone at La Cima---especially Sherry with whom we had the most contact---was extraordinary. Everyone was super professional, flexible, friendly, polite, and helpful. Turnaround time when we had questions was within one day. We felt like we were working with friends rather than a venue! They truly are exceptional people with whom to work!
The venue was a dream….high above and overlooking Dallas and Las Colinas at sunset and evening made a wonderful wedding day even more magical and memorable. It felt like we were dancing in the sky! All servers at the reception were very hard working, polite, and friendly. The manager for the evening, Ryan, was fantastic, as he made sure that everything was just right.
With the quality of the venue itself and the managers and staff beyond excellent, the quality of the dinner was “icing on the cake.” Everyone at the receptions raved about the quality of the food especially the steak, which was one of the best steaks many people ever had. The food was simply fantastic and together with the quality of the staff and venue, made La Cima the best place for my daughter’s reception. The bride, groom, family, and friends were all extremely pleased with the whole evening. The cost of the reception at La Coma was incredibly reasonable given the excellence of services and quality of the food and venue itself. If we have another reception to plan in the next few years, La Cima will definitely be our first choice without a doubt. Congratulations Sherry, Peyton, Ryan and the entire La Cima staff on a job well done. Thank you for making my daughter’s and son-in-law’s reception the elegant, beautiful evening that we had all dreamed about. Thanks and best wishes to all of you. Keep up the exceptional work

Excellent and beautiful venue! Sherry was fantastic to work with throughout the entire planning process and promptly answered any questions we had. The food was delicious and the service was great! We would definitely recommend booking La Cima for any event.

Ms. Sherry Montoya and her staff were so very responsive and helpful to me as I planned the rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding. LaCima is absolutely the best and most elegant venue for wedding receptions — large and small.

The rehearsal dinner was delightful — and the guests just loved the food and setting and of course, the view! I will definitely use LaCima again ...and again and again!

Sherry Montoya and her staff are the consulate professionals and were so attentive to ensure that our wedding experience was the best that it could be. Everything was fantastic including the event planning and coordination, food, bar service and staff attentiveness. It was the perfect night and the entire Club looked beautiful! We could not be happier and cannot stop talking about the wonderful wedding and memories that Sherry and her staff helped create!! Thank you so much! Sherry was amazing; covered every detail so we knew exactly what to expect and what our parameters were for the wedding. It was truly the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to and it was my daughter's! Food was excellent and beverages flowed. Truly a beautiful location; we had a clear night, so great views of downtown Dallas.

We got married on October 1, 2016, and I absolutely loved our experience with Sherry and La Cima Club. From the day we had our to all the way up until the rehearsal and wedding day, Sherry was amazing. She helped us along the way, and I felt well prepared the day of our wedding, which was very comforting. The venue was beautiful, and everyone loved the food. I couldn't see having the best day of my life anywhere else.

If I had to do it again, I would pick La Cima Club every time. The price was a little shocking at first, but it includes everything right down to the centerpieces. I was relieved to not be nickeled and dimed like so many venues did in their quotes (if you make me use your caterer, don’t charge me to rent the darn salad forks).

I would not recommend this space to a DIY bride, because your homemade decor can’t stand up to the simple elegance and awe-inspiring views of the Skyline Room. This is however, the PERFECT venue for the low key bride. Sherry and her team took care of so much, that I was worried that I had to be forgetting something. I just kept thinking that it couldn’t be this easy, but it really was. I did not decorate one single thing, fret about linens, or obsess over colors.

These people are pros. They have been doing it for a long time and have a lot of knowledge. They are also very flexible and can roll with the punches as they come up. I do recommend communicating by email, as Sherry can be hard to catch on the phone.

To date, we have had a wonderful experience with Sherry Montoya and La Cima Club. Sherry is responsive, professional, organized and provides an exceptional level of service. Each time I've contacted her with questions, I receive a detailed response within a few hours or less. She is extremely thorough and always happy to help. We know we're in good hands! Without question, La Cima was the right choice for us. We look forward to hosting our friends and family on our big day at this top-tier venue.

I have nothing but great things to say about La Cima Club. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything went so smoothly. The venue coordinator Sherry Montoya was a pleasure to work with. She was easy to reach via email and always responded back within the next business day. She helped me book the table linens and chairs, and even got me swatches for table linens when I was having trouble making up my mind! I received so many compliments from my guests about the views from the Club, the food and the friendly servers and bartenders. I had several people tell me it was the best wedding they've ever been to! La Cima Club is top-notch and I can't recommend them enough to prospective brides!

I can't begin to describe how happy we are about deciding to have our wedding at the Cima Club. It was so beautiful and amazing. Working with Sherry was an absolute pleasure. She was always quick to respond, and made sure our wedding went off as planned. She made sure everything we wanted and planned happened. The venue is stunning. People were so impressed with how beautiful it is. The view is just stunning from high on the 26th floor. It has an amazing skyline view of Dallas. Also, my husband's most important criteria for the wedding was the food. Let me just say we were beyond pleased with our food. It was so delicious every bite of everything. The Cima Club is so amazingly elegant. The food and atmosphere are just so great. We wish we could have another wedding there, no kidding, that is how great the night was. We want to go back and enjoy it more is was so fabulous. We love the Cima Club and our guests did too. People are still talking about how amazing our wedding was. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time there. We wished it could have been longer.

This was the perfect location!! I looked at countless venues when deciding on where to have our wedding reception, but nothing could top La Cima Club!! It is absolutely gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. We used the lounge and skyline room and all of our guests were blown away! The food was absolutely incredible. We also had them do a dessert table instead of a traditional groom's cake, and we were so impressed with the quality of everything!! The staff was wonderful and were always accommodating and helpful. We were able to offer a full bar and they even made bellinis and offered tap beer, so everyone was happy! I cannot imagine a more perfect location to celebrate marrying the love of my life. The space is spectacular and the food and staff make everything even more perfect! I highly suggest visiting La Cima!

I worked with Asa Vandertulip at La Cima and she was amazing! Asa was very helpful and patient and she always got back to me the same day and was very professional but also very personable. My husband and I changed our minds about several aspects of the wedding a couple different times and not once did she ever act like any of it was a problem. There were a few things that we weren't sure of but her suggestions really helped us along the way.

I would recommend this venue over and over again! Everyone there went out of their way to make our wedding wonderful! Our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was and at how attentive the wait staff was to any of their needs. And I have got to mention the view from the Skyline room...it was to die for!

Sherry Montoya was a gem to work with. Her team always responded to my questions in a timely manner. They were very professional and were a delight to work with. On the day of my daughter's wedding, everything was taken care of and we had a reception attendant that made sure all of our needs were met. View photos of past receptions and visit the same time of day as the event. Ours was after dark and in addition to the venue itself the views are spectacular and add a lot. Having the entire club available really is important also. I am a member so we did not use Wedding Wire or any other service.

Book La Cima Club as your venue and you certainly won't regret it! Sherry was amazing at helping with all things pre-planning. Our day of coordinator (unfortunately I can't remember here name) was also amazing, she made sure we tried all the food and always had a full glass. Everyone kept complimenting on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food tasted. We had about 120 people at the reception and the space was great!

Guess we're writing about the views in the venue. Very elegant and appears to be way more expensive than what we paid. The food was OK. The open bar was amazing especially for the bride and groom because we had our own personal waiter. He was constantly checking in on us and working between the photographer and the DJ to ensure the event went smoothly. If you get married in the pavilion, keep in mind there is absolutely no decorations. There's no light hanging from the rafters and there's no arch. There are some recessed lights but they're not amazing. Depends on what time you get married I suppose. I thought for sure my wedding would be about 60 guess and it grew to over a 100. That took me out of budget with this place, but I don't regret it. Do keep in mind that when they tell you that weddings grow and you think Oh mine won't, you're probably mistaken. Guests get easily lost trying to figure out where to park so make sure to mention that in your invites or on your wedding website. Make sure you mention that they need to validate their parking or they won't be able to get out of the parking garage. The bride and groom changing rooms are right next to each other and have no natural lighting so it's probably not a good place to get your make up done. They also only give you access 2 hours prior to the wedding anyway so you would not have time. If you do have decorations in the pavilion, plan to have somebody hang them for you. The venue is not going to put your decorations up. I think that's it for the most part. I was trying to think of things I wish I had the answers to as I went along that haven't been answered yet.

One of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding was choosing La Cima as our reception venue! Not only is the location stunning with spectacular views, incredible food and service, but the best part of La Cima is their coordinator, Sherry Montoya. From the first meeting we had there 14 months before our wedding, Sherry could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. I probably sent her over 100 emails throughout the planning process, often multiple times a day. She always responded within 24 hours, and usually within hours. She was always so pleasant and so helpful, she made the process so stress-free and enjoyable! The night of our reception went off without a hitch. The staff was so incredibly wonderful and professional, and the food was just spectacular. The staff even brought me some appetizers and drinks while I was bustling my dress and waiting to be announced with my husband, and I was so grateful for that! I highly recommend La Cima to anyone planning an event - they are truly a top-notch venue.

My wedding was on a tight budget (as most are I assume) and I really feel like I found gold with this venue. It was very affordable, classy, and the staff that worked my event was AWESOME. (Especially the event manager). I would highly recommend this venue from the great price to the breathe-taking view- you really couldnt ask for more.

We could not have selected a more beautiful location! Our wedding was downstairs in the Water Pavilion and the reception upstairs in the club. People are still talking about how beautiful everything was. I have to give special thanks to them because of their event crew. They made each guest feel as they were the only guest!!! They were so on top of the evening and making everything so incredible!!! Our wedding was perfect!!!!

My only criticism is that I am a DIY bride and they are not flexible at all. You are only allowed 2 hours prior to the even to set up (this cannot be taken earlier in the day it has to be consecutive to your start time) We had a difficult time getting it all done. However, if you are not a DIY bride and have cake, floral, and other vendors handling your day then this is not an issue!

Again this was the most beautiful place in Dallas we could have ever picked for our wedding. They were more than accomodating all night, the food was not "standard" wedding food, it was unbelievable and we still have people talking about how amazing the food and event was!!! If we had to do it all over again we would never do it anywhere else but here!!!!!!

We had our ceremony and reception in the main room of La Cima, and everything was wonderful. Sherry Montoya was an absolute joy to work with and was incredibly helpful. Food, decor, coordinator, and service were all excellent and the view was just breathtaking. We had tons of compliments on everything. It is very expensive, but it made for a perfect evening.

The view is gorgeous. The food was good. The cost for the ceremony site is a bit high I feel but it was pretty. The people at La Cima answer emails very quickly and are very easy to work with. I asked for a few things to be supplied like extra tables at the ceremony site and cake stand and there was no problem. They changed from Sherry Montoya to another person in the last month before the wedding- a little confusion followed but it all worked out in the end.

We were extremely happy with La Cima. We had our wedding in one room with the reception in another. Everyone gave high marks on the location, the food - and the views are to die for. We had flowers and candles, but our pictures with the lights and candles and skylines in the background are incredible. We were extremely pleased with the location and the on-location planners and coordinators - we wouldn't have changed a thing.

The staff was really nice and great to work with the exception of the security guard downstairs that didn't allow us to take pictures. He was very rude and aggressive.

During the planning process I would of liked actual phone call responses instead of back and forth emails. During the wedding planning stages, the most stressful stages, I prefer speaking to someone over the phone instead of email. This would make the planning process less stressful on the bride. Other than that, I was pleased with everything else.

The event coordinator was very experienced and had a great deal of knowledge to offer regarding logistical issues for a wedding reception and ceremony. They provide a checklist to fill out which is very useful to determine whether certain things should be provided by La Cima or you, such as cake stand, cake cutting utensils, linens, etc. They were also very flexible on altering menu selections and offer a generous timeline to provide final headcounts. They also give the couple a champagne and fruit basket as a wedding gift!

Using La Cima for our reception worked out wonderfully. It's a beautiful venue and the catering and decorating is in house, so there is less to coordinate and worry about. The food was good and the skyline view is excellent. My only complaint is that our bartender was incredibly rude to our guests.

La Cima is breathtaking and the location is beyond beautiful. Sherry did a great job coordinating the event but the service was seriously lacking all graciousness. To me the service should reflect a welcoming host to guests. One of the bridesmaids had brought a bottle of champagne to toast my daughter and the coordinator assigned to us took it away siting no outside alcohol. She never came to me and asked if I’d like to add a bottle of champagne for the girls and actually kept the bottle! I did not learn about this until after the wedding but it was a long night of poor judgement on behalf of the staff.
I had finally started relaxing and was dancing with the bride and my daughter when I saw our coordinator waving me to come to her. I had hit my “limit” on our alcohol tab. She literally pulled me off the floor to raise the limit and could not wait for the song to end. The valet company was late which made the honored guests guess where to park. The grooms elderly Grandmother wound up falling down an escalator and we were all were hiking in long dresses to get to the venue. The valet service was comped because they weren’t there to park guests. There was another party in a nearby room and their guests were constantly in our space including children running around. We had an adult only formal wedding venue. We were made aware of another party nearby beforehand but there was no measure in place to make sure their guests were not commingling in our bar area.
We were given the bum’s rush at the end of the evening as we were at the end of our “allotted time” collecting all our flowers and gifts on carts like we were at a Walmart and were out well before the clock struck midnight. (11pm)
We were actually glad to leave and one of our guests who is a member concurred that the staff was very surly and ungracious. It may have been a one off poor service night, but it was my Daughter’s and Son in Law’s big night. Not worth the 40,000$ at all.

Wouldn't recommend.

I have waited for years to write this review because it took a while to face it again, and I wanted to write this review with less emotion, and more objectively. I had my wedding in December of 2015 at La Cima Club. For members, it may be fine, I am unsure. But as a non-member who paid a good amount to have a wedding and upgraded packages to allow my guests to have the best experience, me nor our family were satisfied. Some examples... The waiting staff never offered the options we had upgraded. We found out half way through no one was offered any of the appetizers or beverages we had paid for (no one knew it was even an option) and the staff was sitting back and enjoying our show (but still got their gratuity per contract). My family as well as the bride and groom had to go from table to table to offer, although the wedding was almost over. Sherry was not accommodating, helpful, nor understanding. Everything was restricted per La Cima Club rules. Talking with more wedding planners after the fact, they said they advise their brides and grooms to not do their weddings at this venue if they aren't a member (which is I wish knew before hand). Basically, they either have improved their service based on some reviews over the years, or we weren't as lucky. I advise couples to read the contract VERY carefully, because it is written in stone.
