We used Dortoni's Commack location for our wedding cake. From start to finish we had an excellent experience. During our tasting, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They also offered us a nice variety of flavors to try and the samples were presented very nicely. They were all so delicious it was hard to make a decision. I spoke to the bakery a few times between our tasting and our wedding to follow up on our order and ensure everything was in place. They were always friendly and willing to assist. On the day of our wedding the cake arrived on time and looked beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted. The cake was absolutely beautiful and everyone loved the way it tasted. We couldn't be happier with our experience. -

Elegant and delicious
From the moment we walked in, the staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They explained very well what all of our options were and what we needed to do leading up to our wedding. We had given them a reference photo and they were able to replicate it perfectly. Our guests have also mentioned that the cake was soft, moist and delicious! We highly recommend them for your wedding cake! -

We had had the Dortoni dessert before, so we knew the cake would be great. Our tasting at the Levittown location was a lot of fun, and they were easy to work with. We also ordered a small Anniversary cake for my parents, which they were happy to add! We ended up getting chocolate cake with one layer filled with strawberries & cream and the other with vanilla moose. Our guests said that the cake was delicious! -

Dortoni Bakery was an absolute dream to work with! Out of all the bakeries I reached out to in the area, they were by far the most responsive and easiest to communicate with. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel so welcome—and even the customers we met during our cake tasting treated everyone like family. That says so much about the kind of place Dortoni is!
The tasting experience was incredible. A sweet and knowledgeable team member walked us through all the flavors and options, even sharing her personal favorites. What really stood out was how balanced the cakes were—not overly sweet, which was perfect for us. (My husband and I are Chinese and prefer lighter cakes with delicate fillings.) Dortoni nailed it!
Our guests were thrilled to try the different flavors, and the crowd favorite was definitely the cookies and cream filling—thankfully, we had two tiers of that! Every bite was delicious, and the cake looked absolutely stunning.
Thank you so much, Dortoni, for making one of the biggest items on our wedding checklist the easiest and most enjoyable. You truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t recommend you more highly! -

This past November we had our wedding cake made from Dortoni in Port Jefferson. The staff was so friendly and made the cake testing experience wonderful. We ended up going with a marble cake, with a chocolate whipped cream filling. The butter cream frosting on the outside had a great flavor and was not overly sweet. Multiple guest commented on how much they enjoyed the cake. We ended up going with a simple design, however we were also given the option to have flowers added to the cake, which we declined. We would choose dortoni's all over and over again ! -

Our venue uses Dortoni's and we can see why! I am not a cake eater, but their vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and cream filling was delicious. We were able to do half Oreo buttercream filling and half strawberries and cream filling, which was a nice surprise, I didn't know they did that. They did have an option to do a brownie cake but we opted not to because the cake was so good that I was able to enjoy our cake cutting together as a couple. I will definitely keep this bakery in mind for other events in the future. -

The most delicious cake!
Working with Dortoni was an amazing experience! They were so accommodating with picking a date to do a cake tasting at the bakery. Plus they have multiple locations so it was so easy to pick somewhere close to home. The tasting was delicious. You get a choice of 6 filings and you can even go back and do a second tasting! Product was so beautiful and even better tasting than the samples we had at the bakery. The staff was so wonderful. I would recommend this bakery both for wedding cakes and for any occasion! -

From cake tasting months in advance to my guest's reactions, Dortoni's was the best! The staff at the bakery were absolutely lovely. My fiance and I struggled to choose just two filling as they were all delicious. We ended up deciding on raspberry mousse and Italian custard with a vanilla cake. It was a massive success! We had guests ask us where our cake was from because they loved it so much. We highly recommend Dortoni's! -

My husband and I went to the Levittown location for Dortoni Bakery back in April 2025 for our wedding cake tasting apart of our package with our venue and we had a gentlemen named Rudy help us. He was super sweet and answered all of our questions! The cakes were so moist and the fillings were fantastic. We ultimately choose two fillings. The day of our wedding our cake arrived to our venue exactly as we envisioned it! It tasted FANTASTIC! Cannot wait our 1 year anniversary cake. Highly recommend Dortoni Bakery. -

Beautiful and delicious!
Our cake was included in the cost of our wedding venue, The Lannin. We had 225 people and Dortoni helped use create a beautiful 3 tier cake. There were great designs to choose from. Our florist brought flowers that were added to the cake upon delivery. The tasting experience was so great. We were able to choose from the delicious fillings. Everyone at the bakery was kind and helpful, making sure we selected exactly what we wanted. Our guests keep asking about where the cake came from! -

Let me just say- this was our favorite part of planning our wedding! They are so accommodating & kind! I work a lot of hours and long days at the hospital- they put us in no problem ! The taste testing was so fun & tasted soooo good !! THE CAKE WAS DELICIOUS !! I don’t have many photos yet unfortunately because we are still waiting on them from our photographer- but this is what I have currently. We are so happy how everything came out ! Cake was beautiful and literally everyone at our wedding ate it ! -

We had a lovely experience with Dortoni Bakery! A wedding cake was included in our venue package and we were very happy to work with them. We had a vanilla cake with strawberries and whipped cream filling and it was so tasty! We also had frosting flowers cascading down the entire cake. It was beautiful! The only thing to note is that our cake did start to collapse slightly during the reception but this was expected considering we picked the whipped cream filling that provides little structure (we were warned of this in advance at the tasting!). We can't thank Dortoni Bakery enough! -

Unexpectedly most delicious wedding cake!
Our cake through Dortoni’s (Levittown) was included with our package at our wedding venue, but we were truly blown away when we went for our tasting (we previously had such low expectations for wedding cake, but Dortoni’s proved us wrong). We are chocoholics but decided on a vanilla cake with cannoli cream and chocolate ganache; we are still dreaming about it. We did wind up paying extra to get a specific design I fell in love with, but they did a great job replicating our vision—it was beautiful. They also gave us a voucher at the tasting for a complimentary first-anniversary cake —we can’t wait. Make sure to ask for it!

Halloween wedding
We ordered our Halloween wedding cake from Dortoni in Port Jeff and it came out beautiful! We did two layers with raspberry preserves and chocolate ganache and the other layers with raspberry preserves and vanilla mousse, my family told me it was the best wedding cake they ever had and I would definitely agree! I would definitely recommend Dortoni to anyone looking for a scrumptious and beautifully decorated wedding cake! -

Beautiful cake. We had our tasting in Levittown, as part of our package with Fox Hollow. We were allowed to try four cake fillings with two base (vanilla and chocolate). We chose to go with a speciality design, so there was an additional fee, but it was minimal, and ultimately worth it. At our reception, everyone loved the cake. And it looked beautiful, exactly how my wife envisioned. After enjoying their cake, we cannot wait to go back for future occasions. -

We had the best experience here! The tasting was well organized and the woman working was incredibly helpful in explaining our options, what was included, what would be an additional fee, etc. We did our tasting on the earlier end just because it was an easy thing to check off the to-do list. We were a little worried it may have been TOO early, but when we called the week of the wedding to confirm everything, Dortoni's didn't miss a beat and quickly confirmed all of the info and even sent us a copy of our order form. The cake was absolutely delicious (I wish the chocolate cannoli cream was a standard filling in any of the ready-to-buy cakes or even in actual cannolis!). We opted to to a plane cake and our florist added flowers to match the rest of the wedding florals. -

We went for a cake tasting and were able to choose 1 cake flavor and 2 fillings for our cake. We went with funfetti, chocolate ganache and cannoli and our cake was DELICIOUS. We used their design book to pick out the design and it came out exactly how we envisioned it. -

We used Dortoni for our wedding cake and were so very happy with the results.
First of all, we love Dortoni’s because they make some of the best cannoli you can get this side of the Atlantic - just an FYI.
Regarding our wedding cake, we were thrilled with the result. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Ours was 4 layers with the 1st and 3rd layers being a chocolate cake with raspberry mousse and chocolate ganache filling, and the 2nd and 4th layers was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Everything was delicious. To top it all off, they gave us a certificate to come back in one year for a free “top of your wedding cake” - perfect for that 1 year anniversary tradition! Thank you to all who work at Dortoni, we could not recommend you enough!

Wonderful Wedding Cake
We got our cake from the Dortoni location in Levittown and it was wonderful! They are partnered with our venue so 4-tier cake was included in our contract, which made organizing everything very simple. We had heard good things about this bakery pre-wedding both from people who got wedding cakes there and friends who just use it as their go-to bakery and everyone had good things to say. It was quick and easy to book our tasting, the bakery was very accommodating and the staff was kind and helpful. We got to try 3 flavors of cake and 6 fillings. They offer a great variety of flavors of both that cater to all different tastes, from very sweet to more fresh with fruit, and everything in between. Some flavors of cake and filling are an extra cost to choose, but they make clear which carry the upcharge when tasting and making your decision. Everything at the tasting was absolutely delicious, really light and moist. It was some of, if not the, best wedding cake we’d ever tried! They were also able to easily accommodate our request to pick 2 cake and filling flavors for our cake… everything was SO good it was hard to pick just one of each! We ended up going with 2 tiers of chocolate cake with chocolate pudding filling and 2 tiers of vanilla cake with fresh berry chantilly cream filling to make sure the cake would include something virtually everyone would like one way or the other. We made the order right there at the tasting and picked our frosting design from their book of options, and then that was it! Everything arrived beautifully done to the wedding venue day-of and the cake was beyond delicious. They also include a gift certificate for a mini recreation of your wedding cake to use on your first anniversary, which is so smart and special, we’re looking forward to using it! We would highly recommend and are so happy with our experience! -

Beautiful cake!!
Our cake came with us booking The Watermill. We did our tasting a few months ago and had so much fun trying all the flavors. Our favorite was the chocolate cannoli! We went with an all chocolate cake with different fillings in each tier. It was delicious and so beautiful!!! Exactly what we were looking for!! And, you get a certificate to return for a cake for your first anniversary!! -

Beautiful and Delicious Cake
Dortoni Bakery was incredible to work with. We requested a different flavor than the norm and they were able to create our dream cake. We showed them one slightly blurry instagram photo as inspiration for our cake decorations and it was better than we could’ve imagined! You should absolutely book Dortoni for your next event! -

Dortoni made us the most delicious wedding cake! We had a beautiful 4 tier round cake with vanilla and chocolate cake along with mixed berries in chantilly and cookies and cream filling. The cake had beautiful texture as well! We were so thrilled to hear our wedding guests raving about the cake and delighted that they loved it as much as we did! Worked with Dortoni because it came with our wedding at The Piermont, but would have chosen them anyway! The cake was to die for and it looked absolutely beautiful. I also changed my mind twice after making my selections and they were completely okay with me changing my mind 5 days out from the wedding! My only complaint is that it was so hard to get them on the phone to schedule the tasting, as the place is so busy. -

We got our wedding cake from Dortoni and we’re counting down the days until we can use our first anniversary gift certificate for some more cake! It was that delicious! We chose yellow cake with raspberry filling and mixed berries in chantilly cream with vanilla icing. When we went to make our selection they showed us tons of options that would fit our budget. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better! There were no issues with delivery to our venue. Everything was perfect and we’d highly recommend them! -

A wedding cake from Dortoni was included in our package at The Piermont. Dortoni had us do a “to-go” tasting because of covid. They let us choose from a handful of fillings and cake flavors, all of which were delicious! Our wedding cake turned out absolutely amazing! All of our guests were raving about our cake all night. I would highly recommend using Dortoni for your wedding cake -
