Perfect pivot for a pandemic wedding!

LBV saved the day for me and my wedding party! My original plan for a big wedding in Baltimore had to be scrapped because of the pandemic. I set one of my ladies to research stylists in the area of my parents' house in NJ (our pandemic-friendly location), and Samantha at LBV was an instant favorite. With a little less than a month before the event, I was freaking out about finding anyone who would be able to accomodate us in a safe, socially-distant way, and who would be able to help me (a pale, freckled, quite sweaty bride!) look good for my entire August-evening wedding. Samantha was friendly and helpful (completely cognizant of our desire to be off-site and COVID compliant), and make-up artist Helen and hair genius Jai made our whole party (two moms, two bridesmaids, two groomswomen, and me) look FANTASTIC! We had a relaxing and productive morning at the LBV headquarters(?) in Whitehouse Station with tasty pastries, lovely conversation, and brilliant advice and styles from Helen and Jai. I did not have a specific look for myself or the party, and Helen and Jai were able to accomodate all of our desires and still keep us looking like a cohesive group.
Also, even with seven people to do full hair and makeup for, we were AHEAD of schedule (when was the last time that ever happened?!) and had plenty of time before the main event. The only complaint I have (and it's a small one) was that we had to pay entirely in cash, which was a small inconvenience. However, everyone felt safe (plenty of physical space and mask-wearing- those of us fresh out of makeup were able to remain distant while it set) and pretty, and I would definitely recommend LBV for anyone planning their own event in Central Jersey, even during this pandemic. Oh, and even though I cried nearly my entire wedding (good tears!) and it was a hot summer night in NJ, my makeup and hair stayed PERFECT the entire time, as did those of my whole party. Thank you thank you thank you!

Samantha and Shannon were absolutely amazing for my wedding day! I felt flawless from the moment I got ready and truly never felt prettier. The entire morning went so smoothly, and they made the experience fun, relaxing, and stress-free. They were both so friendly and easy to work with, and everything turned out even better than I imagined. Highly recommend this hair and makeup team for any bride!

Perfect Hair and Makeup

The La Belle Visage Team was amazing throughout the whole process! Communication with Samantha was amazing throughout the process! We had hair and makeup done for 13 women and 2 flower girls and they were able to do a fantastic job in a short time! Everyone looked amazing and the hair and makeup stayed on all night! Helen, Adrianna, Shannon and Alyse were all incredible and I would recommend them to everyone!

The Best Wedding Hair & Makeup Team!

Jess, Samantha and their team were incredible. My hair and makeup were flawless, stayed through the after party and made me glow on my wedding day. Not only are they talented beyond words, they are kind, professional and really fun to hang out with! All of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous and were so happy with their looks. We had a short window to get ready and a large party (11 total) - this team of 4 got everyone done with time to spare. It never felt rushed; I felt relaxed the whole time. I cannot wait to work with these hair and makeup angels again for my next event!

Amazing Service!

La Belle Visage was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. Shannon and Samantha were truly incredible from start to finish.

Everyone’s hair and makeup turned out so beautiful, and everything held up perfectly throughout the day. They listened to what each person wanted, enhanced everyone’s natural features, and made sure we all felt confident and camera-ready.

Most importantly, they made me feel completely stunning on my wedding day. I felt like the best version of myself, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention they put into every detail.

On top of their talent, Shannon and Samantha were just so fun to be around — we had the best time hanging out with them in the get ready suite. They brought such a calming, positive energy and made the whole morning feel exciting, relaxed, and special.

Amazing!!!

Absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough amazing things about my wedding day hair and makeup! From the moment they arrived, the team was warm, professional, and incredibly talented. They made me feel so calm and taken care of throughout the whole process.
What truly stood out was how beautifully they accentuated my features—I still looked like myself, just the most radiant, confident version! My makeup was flawless and lasted all day and night, through happy tears, hugs, and hours of dancing. And the hair? Absolute perfection. It held up beautifully and photographed like a dream.

The most beautiful I’ve ever felt

I’m so incredibly happy that I worked with Sam for my wedding day. Not only did she create the vision I had for my wedding makeup perfectly, but my trial & wedding day makeup lasted 12+ hours. She’s professional, talented, and her work showcases why she’s been in the business for 20 years. She brought along Shannon for all the girls hair, which all came out so beautiful. Not a hair came out of place and believe me, we were dancing all night. Sam & Shannon got everyone done on time and every single one of us felt beautiful, especially the girls that don’t usually get their hair or makeup done. The dream team you need for your big day!

La Belle Visage was the first vendor I booked for my March 2025 wedding, and for good reason. Samantha was super responsive and as the big day got closer we scheduled my trial and she helped develop a day-of timeline for my bridal party. I was absolutely blown away by Samantha and Jessica's talent on trial day, I knew they did incredible work, but WOW - I never felt more beautiful. Not only that, but Samantha and Jess were so welcoming and felt like friends I have known for years. On the morning of my wedding they arrived early for set up and kept us all on time. Everyone loved Samantha and Jess's energy - they are so fun and also were the sense of calm that I needed. We made a few changes to my makeup (Samantha actually requested we make the changes that I was going to ask for! She's a total pro). They were so helpful providing tips and tricks for me - Samantha even hid tissues in my bouquet before my first look. Everyone looked stunning and I looked even better than my trial (which I didn't think was possible!). Run, don't walk to book Samantha and Jess!

Samantha and Jessica are the best!

Samantha and Jessica of La Belle Visage did an amazing job for my wedding hair and makeup. They nailed it at my trial and I knew they would again for my wedding day. Every bridesmaid and mother loved both their hair and makeup. They were easy to work with and it was very convenient getting both services from one company.

They were both very relaxed and easy to talk to. They listened to what everyone wanted and gave feedback and advice to determine the best style for everyone. My hair and makeup lasted all night and I didn't do any touch ups throughout the evening. I couldn't be happier using them and I completely recommend hiring them for your wedding!

Amazing!!!

La Belle Visage was great to work with. They're responsive and punctual. They did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and it came out perfect! The hair & makeup trial is a must do to figure out your look for the big day. I originally asked for a side part but realized I didn't like how it looked so knowing that I knew to go middle part for the big day. They were on time at the bridal suite and efficiently did hair and makeup for myself, 2 moms, 1 flower girl, and 6 bridesmaids. Their pricing for the quality of the work is fair. I highly recommend them!

Perfection!!

My girls and I looked absolutely stunning on my day, thanks to Samantha, Jessica, and Helen!! I was impressed with their work I saw on their Instagram page and the pricing for the quality of their work could not be beat. I booked them for my day and then did a trial for both hair and make up. During my trial, Samantha and Jessica were so friendly and chill and perfectly created the look I wanted based on some inspiration photos I showed them. The week before my wedding, Samantha sent over a timeline for when each girl would be doing hair and make up along with several reminders to help the morning run smoothly, which I really appreciated. The team arrived early, set up quickly, and did an amazing job listening to all the individual requests of my girls. Most of my party don’t normally wear make up, so they sought a natural glam and the team delivered. My mother and mother-in-law were especially impressed because they rarely wear make up or do their hair and they loved how the final looks enhanced their appearance without making them look like completely different people (as has been the case for other weddings with other vendors). Everyone looked perfect and the make up lasted the entire day, without any creasing or smudging despite the many happy tears shed throughout the day. All the hair and make up photographed so well and everyone felt so beautiful. I can’t thank Samantha’s team enough for their incredible work!!! Book them, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Beautiful work!

Samantha and Jessica were both so amazing to work with. They did hair and makeup for myself, 9 bridesmaids and 2 moms, and everyone looked stunning! I received compliments about how well my hair and makeup held up throughout the night. I was worried about having more makeup on than usual but Samantha can really do any look - from natural to full glam. They are such nice and talented women and I cannot recommend both of them enough!

Literally the best.

A little delayed but I couldn’t not write a review. I am SO happy I picked Sam & Jess for my wedding makeup and hair. We had about 10 people besides myself needing hair and makeup and Sam & Jess were on point with timing. The schedule they provided helped keep everything on track. I’ve notified not all hair & makeup does this and it really does make SUCH a difference.

All of my girls looked beautiful and their makeup (and mine of course) photographed so well. My sisters makeup came out so good that with her hair and makeup done (and her glasses off) her OWN boyfriend didn’t recognize her at first as well as half of our family LOL. She loved how glamed up they made her.

Sam & Jess took their time to make sure every detail was perfect. Sam was patient with me as I took forever to decide on lashes. Jess was the one to make sure I actually ate while getting ready (thank god, you really don’t get to eat as much as you’d like at your own wedding).

Sam & Jess truly made me look as perfect as I could have ever imagined on my wedding day. All of our hair and makeup looked great and held up all night. I am so obsessed with my pictures and videos and I know they had such a major part in that. I even had Sam come do touch ups on my makeup up until the ceremony (we did a first look). I could not even count how many compliments I got.

Thank you Sam & Jess, I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know. You could not find a better team that will make you look like your absolute best self AND at an affordable price. I wish they could do my hair and makeup every day!

Amazing & Affordable Hair and Make Up Services!

The ladies of La Belle Visage were amazing! Samantha was great and professional in setting everything up. I had a specific time range to do my trial and she was able to make it work! Their prices are extremely reasonable. Jai and Lauren were my hair stylist and make up artist and they were fantastic. Not only were they sweet and fun to work with, but they did EXACTLY what I wanted and it came out perfect. All of my bridesmaids and mother looked great as well. The best of the best!!

I cannot recommend La Belle Visage enough!! Sam and Jess are so talented, detail-oriented, and professional. They followed my inspiration photos and asked questions throughout my trial to make sure my hair and make up looked absolutely perfect. I'm very picky and after leaving the trial, I had nothing I wanted to change! Prior to my wedding, they provided a detailed timeline to accommodate myself, 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 1 grandma. On my wedding day, they were incredible!!! They showed up on time, set up quickly, and had everyone done over an hour earlier than planned. They're so sweet, gentle, and professional; I had the most relaxing wedding morning ever. Everyone was beyond happy with how their hair and make up came out and the most impressive part was it stayed all night! We took photos for hours in the pouring rain under umbrellas, cried a lot, and danced like crazy the whole night but somehow still looked flawless! I cannot thank Sam and Jess enough!!!

Best Makeup Artist Ever !!

Book Samantha now! She is so incredibly talented and also just an awesome person! We originally did my trial back in January 2020, thinking I was getting married September 2020 😂 She was really understanding when we postponed and I was so thrilled that she had availability for the new date we picked in June 2021. She also did my makeup for a photo session we did with our families in August 2020. She is so easy going and will help you feel relaxed on the day of. I changed up the look from the trial and she was just like Ok! And then KILLED IT! I felt so beautiful and my makeup lasted from like 10am to midnight through an entire day of taking pictures outside on a hot and humid day where I was sweating and also an outdoor ceremony. All of my bridesmaids looked amazing too! She is truly incredible.

Amazing hair/makeup team!

Not much to say about La Belle Visage (Sam and Jessica) other than everyone should absolutely hire them! Their prices are extremely reasonable and their work is BEAUTIFUL!

I've had so many experiences with hair and makeup where everything falls apart within an hour or I've looked like a clown, but Sam and Jessica transform you into the most beautiful version of yourself, exactly as you envision.

Couldn't ask for a more accommodating duo! Sam and Jessica are so nice and fun and made the morning-of comfortable and calm. We had nine girls getting both hair and makeup and they created an easy schedule for them and their assistants to get everything done in time - and everyone looked gorgeous!

We've already been referring them to people asking who did our makeup. Thank you, ladies!

I looked gorgeous!

I trialed my makeup with Sam for my engagement photoshoot. I had already had a makeup artist booked for my 3/22 wedding, but I figured, why not? After my trial with Sam, I immediately cancelled my contract with the other artist (cost me my $200 deposit, so read your contracts carefully) because I loved how Sam made me look! She also seemed really genuine and like she cared for me as a person, not just a client.

This held true when my husband and I had to cancel our 3/22 bash and get married in a small ceremony the day before. Sam was going to still do my makeup for the 3/22 wedding, but I called her at 1PM on the day of our new wedding date and asked if she would be able to come to my apartment and do my makeup. Sam was at my apartment by 2:30 and had me ready by 3:30. I am SOOOO thankful I booked Sam, because honestly, I don’t know of many people who would literally drop everything he/she was doing the way Sam did.

Sam was available for my 3/21/20 date, my 8/27/20 date, as well as my 3/21/21 date. Thank the Lord because on my actual 3/21/21 bash, Sam made me look soooooo gorgeous! I don’t know how she does it, but she did it! She was also extremely timely. My first bridesmaid was set to have her makeup done at 8AM, and at 8AM on the dot, Sam started with her. We were also all ready early, which my photographer really appreciated! I love Sam and I will continue to use her for all of the special occasions I’ll need my makeup done for!

Hair = amazing!

I went into the trial indecisive and Jess was able to help me figure out what hairstyle would be perfect for me. From the trial to the day of, Jess was there to answer any questions I had. The whole team was responsible and responsive when it came to timeline and details. On the day of the wedding I made a slight change and Jess delivered above expectations! My hair came out perfect AND stayed in all night and even through the morning. Don't hesitate to book!

I would recommend anyone to use Samantha and her bridal/ hair team for their dream wedding! Best Hair and Makeup Team in NJ - Everyone in my bridal party looked GORGEOUS!!

I had the best wedding experience with La Belle Visage Hair and Makeup Team. They did an absolutely AMAZING job and everyone looked gorgeous on my wedding day! I would highly recommend them to any friends/family/colleagues in need of a wedding bridal team. Before selecting them, I went through multiple trials with other teams in NJ who either did not understand my style or could not execute the look I wanted - I am very particular about my hair and makeup. After spending much time communicating with Sam, she selected a team for me based on my preferences and style. Sam took the time (texts, emails, and calls back and forth) to understood my vision and preferences. She was determined to find the perfect team for me. She was responsive, honest, and on top of things which I appreciated greatly. Sam selected lead technicians for me- Jai & Kylie. Jai & Kylie understood my look and were able to translate my vision into exactly what I wanted. They did multiple trials with me before and also my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner hair and make-up, which I highly recommend (this allowed me to get to know them better and also spend more time together so they can understand my style)! Jai and Kylie were fun, honest, on-time, and responsive whenever I was working with them. I was so confident going into my wedding day that they would master the look I was going for and they did just that. The secondary technicians were Maddie, Rebecca, & Lucy. They were all friendly, fun, and understood the looks that my large bridal party (11 girls) wanted. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous and were so pleased with the outcome. The team arrived, on time and prepared which allowed my wedding day to run smoothly. Looked and felt beautiful!

Samantha and Jess are amazing! They made me look and feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and makeup as well. Leading up to the day, Samantha and Jess were more than accommodating for a number of trials for myself, my mother, and my mother in law. During the trials they listened carefully to us, made helpful recommendations, and made us feel completely comfortable. AMAZING!! Stop looking- you've found your hair/makeup team!!

This team is truly incredible and cares so much about each client's individual vision. I had a trial with Jessica and Maddie at Samantha's studio and they were so welcoming and fun, it was like hanging out with friends. Our car ended up breaking down in the driveway, and we had to wait about 5 hours for a tow- Samantha opened up her home to us and made us feel so comfortable. Her husband and dad even came out to try to help- just really good people. From the very start, it was such a great experience. Jessica and Maddie really remembered my vision all those months later at the wedding- they made me feel THE MOST beautiful I've ever felt. They were so much fun to have with us getting ready, joining in the banter and giving everyone tips. They moved quick enough to keep to schedule, but made all of my bridesmaids feel so beautiful. Every person was able to have the exact style that they wanted. My hair and makeup stayed perfectly all day and night, which has never happened before, and the cost was super reasonable for myself and my bridal party. I could not be more grateful and would recommend them over and over again!!!

Never felt so beautiful!

Words can not express how happy I am with using Samantha and Jessica on my wedding day. I truly never felt so beautiful in my entire life (I almost cried!). Extremely Professional- Highly Recommend

Would absolutely recommend Samantha and Jessica for any bride. Because I don’t live in NJ I ended up choosing La Belle Visage without a trial and have no regrets. I read countless reviews about makeup artists and went with La Belle Visage because of their reviews for punctuality and their expertise with airbrushed makeup. Even though our wedding was at the end of August my makeup held up all night despite the elements. I got my makeup done around 12:30 in the afternoon and sent Samantha a photo around midnight of how well everything held up. La Belle Visage was at least fifteen minutes early for our appointments, which gave them plenty of time to set up. They were attentive when my bridesmaids asked for touch ups and did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair and makeup. both Samantha and Jessica took my vision and concerns into account. I did not expect to feel as beautiful as I did on this special day. With so many moving pieces it was a relief to start the day so organized and flawless. Forever grateful for Samantha and Jessica! La Belle Visage was reasonably priced, extremely professional, caring, and attentive. Forever grateful for their contribution to our special day!

Best Makeup Ever - I felt and looked like a princess :)

Samantha is professional, talented, friendly, and reliable :) I'm so happy I used her services for my wedding! My bridesmaids and I looked absolutely gorgeous!!! She associates with a few hair stylists so if you hire her, she will gladly find a hair stylist who's also available on the day of your wedding - she suggested amazing hair stylist Jessica :) I scheduled a makeup and hair trial 4 months before my wedding and was so impressed with how on point I looked to my inspiration photos! Bingo, they understood my vision and I booked them immediately. During the months leading up to my wedding, Samantha routinely checked on me and kept me positive. The week before my wedding, Samantha sent the hair and makeup schedule so that my bridesmaids would know when to be ready. I first met Sam when I was a bridesmaid for a friends wedding that she was hired for. After getting my makeup done by her I knew immediately that I needed her for my wedding day (whenever that time comes!) Flash forward about a year and I asked Sam to do my first trial. Sam came to my place to do the trial. She was soooo easy to work with and she listened to any request I had. I adored her and my makeup. That night I went to a wedding and took pictures with my friends (with iPhones). The iPhone flash made my face completely white. I immediately texted Sam and she was astonished! She mentioned that she was using new finishing powder which she hasn’t used before. She told me she would do another trial for me free of charge and use a different product. We set up another trial, for both me and my mom. Sam came to my moms house and did both of our makeup. My mom is very plain and doesn’t wear a lot of makeup. Sam listened to her requests and made her feel so beautiful (without putting on too much makeup). My makeup came out PERFECT and absolutely no flashback!! Sam was determined to make my makeup absolutely perfect. As for my wedding day, it was so comforting to have Sam there, as one of my vendors that I actually have built a relationship with. She made me feel at ease and comfortable the whole morning. She also is not the type of person to rush out of there when she’s finished. She stayed with me until I got dressed in case I needed touch ups. I just love love love her and she made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. I’d recommend her 1,000 times over.

Starting with the at-home trial and thru the wedding day, everything was perfect with Samantha and LizBeth! Professional, Talented and Amazing!

I had a short time to plan my wedding in out of state and did not do a trial run since I was coming from California. Seeing La Belle Visages creations on the internet, I had absolutely no concerns that they would do an amazing job! Samantha was super flexible, helpful and so easy to work with. She and her partner came over to the house to do our hair and make-up and the results were fabulous!!! Samantha, Lauren & everyone at La Belle Visage have been so incredible during this entire process! I have worked with this companies for multiple occasions and am more impressed each time I leave. The quality and variety of services and price points surpass any other company around. All of the girls are so talented and friendly. It was super convenient to do my engagement photo and hair/makeup trial at their studio in Whitehouse Station NJ, and the day of the girls were able to travel to the hotel. Wonderful experience!

I had "wedding nightmares" about my hair and makeup but that all disappeared when I found Samantha and her team.
Samantha was very responsive to my emails prior to our first meeting. She worked with my changes as to the number of girls who would get their hair/makeup done and responded very quickly to ease my stress. In addition, she was able to accommodate 15 ladies!

When we met with Samantha and Jessica for my hair and makeup trial, I explained to her that I had really thick hair that gave me headaches when it was up. I told Jessica that I wanted an up-do but I did not want to feel my hair all night or the bobby pins. She took the pictures I showed her of how I wanted my hair and created a beautiful masterpiece. It was exactly how I wanted and I could not feel my hair or the bobby pins at all. In addition, Samantha created the most beautiful natural glam eye for me. My biggest concern was not to be cakey and with the airbrush it didn’t feel like that at all.

On the day of the wedding, her and two assistants came to do the 15 ladies who wanted their hair and/or makeup done. It was early, but they were ready to work! Everyone's makeup and hair turned out beautiful. Every single girl was beyond satisfied with the outcome.

Although I was nervous and stressed the day of, Samantha was able to keep me calm and allow me to have breaks when needed. And when I saw the final result, I was blown away - as was my wedding party. My hair and makeup lasted ALL night and I love looking at pictures of how amazing my hair and makeup was.

The absolute best! My bridal party and I were flawless all day!

La Belle Visage did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding day, I couldn’t be happier with how my bridal party and I looked and felt! I had initially contacted Samantha after seeing her portfolio and rave reviews. Samantha was so accommodating when it came to traveling to me for my trials and nailed my vision for how I wanted to look. Let’s not forget that Lizbeth also made a masterpiece out of the thick, messy disaster that is my hair!

Once the day came, I could not echo the reviews more that Sam is such a calming presence despite all the chaos! She and Lizbeth were so punctual and kept everyone on schedule - we even finished with time to spare! Everyone who had hair and makeup done that day all have very distinct features and yet Sam and Lizbeth managed to flatter them individually while sticking to “natural glam” theme.

It was such a long day filled with wind, lots of tears, and dancing. My makeup did not budge once! I looked just as fresh at the end of the day as I did at nine in the morning. Even my curls stayed curly despite mother nature trying to sabotage them!

If you’re looking for your hair and makeup to be done for your wedding day, I could not recommend hiring La Belle Visage more.

Talented, Fun, Flexible, Talented

Not sure where to start with these ladies! From the moment I put in an inquiry about costs and services to the moment they saw me all dressed up about to go do our first look, Samantha and her crew made me feel comfortable and like a princess (and trust me, I didn't even know that that's what I wanted but they helped me find it). Samantha and Kerry came to my house for my first hair/make up trial and even though they did a wonderful job, I was able to go in for a second trial after I changed my mind on the overall look. They helped calm all of my nerves around timing (and not having much), around my first time use of hair extensions, and even lash extensions. Samantha is beyond skilled at lash extensions and not only explained what she was doing every step of the way, she gave detailed instructions on how to take care of them to prolong use. The day of the wedding, having 12 bridesmaids, two mothers, and me, Samantha and Kerry brought a crew (thank you Lauren & Mary) to ensure we were all perfect and beautiful on time. My girls loved the experience of getting ready that morning, all thanks to La Belle Visage. My ladies varied in hair types, skin types, eye shapes, ages, and requests for the team, and trust me, Samantha & her team, they DELIVERED. I can't recommend them enough - they will make you feel like the most important person in the world all while charging a reasonable amount for their services (totally worth all the smiles in the room once your girls are ready to walk down the aisle!). Beautiful Work!!

These ladies are AMAZING!!! Not only did they make my bridal party and I look stunning on my wedding day, but they were also sooooo fun to work with and kept the mood super comfortable. They arrived early, worked efficiently (sticking to the wedding day timeline), and gave everyone exactly what they asked for. My girls would not stop talking about how amazing their hair was, how and natural the makeup looked, and how beautiful they felt!!
I do not normally wear a lot of makeup so I had some anxiety over 'not feeling like myself' on my wedding day. Samantha did an extraordinary job and made me feel so pretty, confident, and an even better version of myself :). The updo by Lizbeth was equally as stunning and it looked even better and I had dreamed, extremely soft and 'effortless' with beautiful details. Our wedding was outside in June and it was a particularly hot and humid day, but my (and my girls) hair and makeup stayed flawless throughout the entire wedding (even with dancing!!). Outstanding in many ways

Samantha was the epitome of professionalism. She was right one time, and did everything the girls, and myself requested. Our makeup did not move. Honestly, Sam has such a talent. She not only has an incredible eye for make up design, but she listens to what your ideal look is and makes your dreams come true! I’ve never felt more beautiful then when Sam does my make-up. She has also been doing my eyelash extensions for a few months now, and they’re gorgeous! High quality products and takes her time

Best hair and makeup artists in world

We used Samantha and Jessica with La Belle Visage for our day of bridal party hair and makeup, and they were absolutely amazing! I cannot sing their praises enough! Samantha was an absolute delight to work with, and went above and beyond for us in every way possible. From even our very first interaction via email, she was quick and thorough in her response. She always thoroughly answered any questions I had, within hours. We set up a consultation a few months out, and she took the time to go over with me exactly what I wanted and the look I wanted to achieve for my big day. She took the time to make suggestions to my mom on what might look best on her. She was very sweet, and accommodating during our original meeting.
Fast forward to the day before the wedding, we ended up getting married during the worst snow storm of the year. Needless to say, there were a few things that didn’t go according to plan. Samantha and her team worked with us, and was so sweet and accommodating the whole time! They made it out the day of the wedding to our location (which we moved last minute) even with the roads being covered in ice! Talk about going above and beyond! The whole time she was there, she tried to calm my nerves and tell me everything was going to be ok. She was so amazing!
In terms of their actual hair and makeup service, they were an absolute pro! I loved my hair and makeup, along with the rest of the bridal party and the MOB! A bride should feel like she is her most beautiful the day of her wedding, and I felt just that. The airbrush makeup Samantha used stayed on all day and night, even after trekking through the ice and snow, and being outside with a light drizzle taking pictures. I felt absolutely beautiful the whole day and night!
Do yourself a favor and hire La Belle Visage. You won't regret it!!!

Amazing make up!

Samantha was my makeup artist for our October 2018 wedding. She was amazing!

She traveled to meet me for my trial so that I could use it for an event that I had, which was fantastic.

On our wedding day, she completed 8 people plus me efficiently while not sacrificing attention to any detail. Everyone was so happy with their makeup and I definitely would recommend her to my friends and family!

A wedding guest

I was a guest for a wedding and had Samantha apply my makeup. I want to start off by saying that she is a true professional and extremely knowledgeable in her craft. I was thrilled with the unique look that she created and how she listened to what I was looking for and executed a one of a kind look. Above all my makeup lasted all night without a single lashes out in of place. Since her work was so flawless I am going to use Samantha for all of my future events!!

Fun and easy trial!

Samantha and Kerry came to my mom's house for the hair and makeup trial. From the start, they were friendly and personable and made me feel super comfortable! You can tell that they really love their jobs and know what they are doing. They gave me options, asked all the right questions, and really listened to everything I had to say. Cannot recommend enough!

If you are thinking of booking La Belle Visage for your wedding, stop thinking about it and just do it! I found Samantha from searching through The Knot and Wedding Wire but I ended up going with her because once I submitted my inquiry she was the only makeup artist who actually called and had a genuine interest in the look I wanted to achieve for my wedding. Between the personal interest and all the wonderful reviews I decided that she felt right. Samantha and LizBeth came to my house to do my trial (which was incredibly lovely and convenient!) and they knocked it out of the park. My hair and makeup were both flawless and they worked with me beforehand to make sure they understood what I wanted. They offered tips and ideas for my actual wedding as well as general makeup and hair tips. I had my trial before going to my cousin's wedding and both my hair and makeup lasted throughout the night and I got so many compliments! But on top of the fabulous job they did, Samantha and Lizbeth were both extremely warm and friendly. It was like hanging out in my kitchen with two old friends. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Samantha is an incredible makeup artist. She is so talented. I’m very particular with my makeup and Samantha is an absolute pro and perfectionist. I LOVED the makeup she did for my wedding shower, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. She is also so sweet and has great energy (totally calming!). She stayed with me for my touch up until my first dance (even though I didn’t really need a touch up). I feel so lucky that I found her. I can’t wait for her to do my makeup again. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!! I would also highly recommend Jessica who did an amazing job doing my hair for my weeding shower and rehearsal dinner. She did beautiful bombshell curls. She did a great job doing my bridesmaids’ hair at my wedding. They all looked gorgeous!

I had Samantha and Lizbeth do hair and make up for myself and my bridal party. They did an AMAZING job. I honestly could not have asked for better. I changed my mind a few times on what I wanted and they never got annoyed they checked in and made sure I was happy with everything.

Additionally some of my bridesmaids were a little picky and Lizbeth changed her hair style a few times to accommodate her to make sure everyone felt beautiful for the day.

My friend who goes to many weddings said I had the most, and I quote "flawlessly perfect bridal make-up" she has ever seen.

Thank you both so much! You turned my weird hair and make up nightmares into a real life wedding dream! haha

Samantha was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had gone through another make up trial and was very unhappy. Samantha was willing to schedule a trial almost immediately and saved me so much anxiety! I had never tried airbrush makeup before but would HIGHLY recommend it- our wedding day was a little warm and humid, and we did a lot of dancing, but my makeup did not budge one bit. In fact, it was still in almost perfect condition the next morning. Samantha did wonderful work for my bridesmaids and my grandmother and mother as well. She texted me the week of the wedding just to check in and was a calming presence on the day of. Not only was the airbrush base excellent, but she did amazing detail work with the makeup. My eyes looked absolutely phenomenal but not over done, and she used the perfect amount of coloring to make me feel special but still natural. I will definitely be calling Samantha again for any weddings or events where I want to get an extra touch.

AMAZING!!!!! Sam does absolutely stunning work. I have gotten my makeup done by her 3x now (once as a bridesmaid, once for my bridal trial, and once for my wedding) and have it LOVED every time. She truly listens to what you want and knows how to produce. I went to a wedding once where the Brides makeup and hair was showstopping, so I asked her which stylist/artist she used, which lead me to La Belle Visage Hair and Makeup, so I can officially say Samantha her teams work literally speaks for itself. I am very picky about my makeup application so Samantha and her team's attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. In the past, when I've gotten professional makeup or hair/updos done, I oftentimes would leave feeling as if I could have done it better on my own - then I would have to rush home to fix it! But not with La Belle Visage. She took my makeup to a level I can't achieve on my own, which is exactly what I want in a professional makeup artist/hair stylist. Every single bridesmaid loved their look. And to impress 14 girls is not the easiest. Not one complaint or disappointment, which NEVER happens in the past weddings I've attended! Samantha is AWESOME!! Samantha and her team are phenomenal. After reading so many amazing reviews and after my trial, I immediately booked her for my wedding. From our very first email exchange to my wedding day, she was absolutely wonderful to work with - talented, professional, responsive, fun and easy-going! Samantha and her team recently provided hair and makeup services for my entire wedding party, and we loved them! She brought three assistants with her and all the equipment needed. We had 15 people for hair and makeup. We had a great time in the bridal suite at the venue with her and her staff and they worked so efficiently. She created a stunning hair and make-up look for me that was exactly what I had envisioned. I loved everything about my experience with Samantha. She is a total pro. They did an amazing job and made the entire wedding party looked stunning. I used Samantha for my wedding day. We did several trials together since I was not sure what look I wanted, each time she really helped me eith decisions and what I liked! She is very patient and a great listener. My mother and the entire bridal party also used her, she got all 12 of us done in record timing, all lookong amazing. I wish that I could give LBV more than 5 stars. Not only is Samantha EXTREMELY talented, but she has a talent for becoming part of your family for the day. Her passion for making women feel beautiful goes even further than the wedding day. I’ve had Samantha fix my unfortunate mug countless times. For my own wedding, when I’ve had events, when I’ve been a bridesmaid, and when I’ve needed photos taken.

She is maticulous, on point, and offers specific suggestions to the makeup challenged and to those who know makeup well. She has a gift to make you feel your best.

I’m writing this review because Samantha runs her business like a true professional and as a mom of 3 girls, she herself lives the life of putting self-care on the back burner. She make everyone feel they can take on the day, whether it’s a wedding day or a corporate event.

I have flown up to NJ from Florida just to have her fix me up. She’s worth it.

Samantha did an incredible job with makeup for my wedding! Myself, all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law looked stunning. It lasted all day and night and I didn’t even have to put makeup on to go to brunch the following day. She was able to do 8 people’s makeup on her own in the given amount of time. Her prices were reasonable. She was willingly to travel to where I needed her to be. She did a trial for me, my mom, and my sister. She came to my house and it was nice getting to know her before the big day. I recommended her for my best friends wedding and I would recommend her to anyone!

I had 4 trials with other salons and on location artist and was not happy. Than I finally found Samantha on wedding wire. Samantha and her staff were amazing and truly wonderful to work with. From the moment we met at the trial I knew she’d do a fabulous job beautifying me and my girls. On the day of our wedding they showed up earlier and were ready to go in no time. I arranged for my five bridesmaids, my mom, mother-in-law, as well as myself, to be done up. Each of them took their time to really perfect everyone’s hair and make-up. They didn’t pack up until I had given the final ok on everyone’s look and despite the large bridal party, we finished early and in perfect timing for pictures. All day long people came up to me and expressed how fabulous my hair and make-up looked and the girls agreed. Looking over some of the pictures, I’m so glad I went with Samantha; she did an amazing job and everyone looked fabulous! She was a true pleasure to work with and she did a fabulous job. Samantha was absolutely amazing on my wedding day! I love the fact she traveled to our location, making it easy to have our hair and makeup done at one site. Her value and quality was outstanding and we all left the salon looking absolutely gorgeous.

Just when I thought there was going to be a hair disaster you stepped in an offered to help fix a problem you had nothing to do with! La Belle Visage Wedding Hair and MakeUp

I used La Bella Visage for my wedding hair and make up. I highly recommend Samantha and Jessica! They are an amazing team. I had 8 bridesmaids and MOB/MOG and they were able to get us all done with amazing quality in such a short time frame. They were very flexible with changes to my timeline and made everything work. My makeup stayed on perfectly all day long. They are very reasonable and a great team!!

Hair and Makeup Dream Team

If you’re thinking about hiring La Belle Visage, do it! They do some of the most beautiful work I’ve ever seen and it lasts in high humidity and heat! Helen, Lizbeth and Rebecca were absolutely amazing and patient! My girls all looked perfect and I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day! Thank you thank you thank you! My only negative thing to say is communication is hit or miss, you will always get an answer but if you’re a stresser like myself it can be hard to wait!

Beautiful Work!

Working with La Belle Visage was a wonderful experience. I appreciated that the hair and makeup artists were able to come directly to the hotel room and accommodate myself, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother all within the morning of the wedding. They were relatively responsive, except there were a few times I felt as though it was hard to get in contact with them to work through the schedule and all of the details. Despite that, everyone was very friendly and they did beautiful work.

Dream wedding hair!

La Belle Visage (Sam and Jess) are amazing stylists as they are people! They were both so accommodating for hair and makeup trials. Sam is very easy to work with and organized with her timeline. Jess worked miracles and created my dream wedding updo - which lasted all night!

Easy to work with!

Sam was very easy to work with, in scheduling my trial and answering the many questions that I had. Pricing was comparable for other artists I was looking into. My makeup artist, Helen, and hair artist, Lizbeth, were absolutely fantastic. Diamond, the assistant set up all of my girls and started their hair to keep us on pace. My girls and mom all loved their makeup and hair. Lizbeth and Helen were able to execute their ideas and looks! My makeup lasted the whole night and into the after party, with just my nose and lips coming off a bit because of me eating and wiping my nose/tears.

I felt like the most beautiful bride!

I had the most amazing experience with La Belle Visage on my wedding day!! Jackie, Maddie and Lucy were the absolute best--they made us all feel calm and at ease during the early morning craziness and were so easy to work with. We were obsessed with our final hair & makeup looks! All our looks brought out our favorite natural features and complimented our styles perfectly.

I would absolutely recommend La Belle Visage to anyone looking to feel and look their best on the big day! :)
