    I used L7 for almost everything needed for my wedding (flowers, dessert, DJ, decor, tent rental). The ceremony and reception was at Hawkesdene House where L7 does over 30 weddings a year. I was only comfortable having never seen my venue because Blake, my contact at L7, was so knowledgeable and comfortable with the venue. Blake was so easy to work with as he was always in close contact and made me feel very reassured that everything was handled. I sent him pictures of bouquets, pictures of wedding cakes, and possible decor ideas for reference and he took it from there. The day of the wedding Blake and his team arrived for tent set up and decoration. The tent was decorated for the reception in draping fabric with details I had sent "vision" pictures of, more beautiful than I could have imagined. The ceremony site was beautiful and full and despite the bareness of winter, I felt like I was in a woodland fairytale. The flower crowns and bouquets for the bridesmaids, my bouquet, and all the boutonnieres were all different yet perfectly coordinated. My husbands boutonniere and my bouquet had one matching flower not found anywhere else and my bouquet had greenery in it that blake picked on-site! These touches were just beyond expectations and so special! Blake took my vision from a select number of photos and put together a spectacular event that took my breath away! He is an exceptional designer/planner who is backed by a world class team! My wedding was breathtaking thanks to him!

    When my husband & I first met Howie of L7 Events we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have found L7 Events. We barely had to say anything and Howie knew exactly what we were looking for and was able to fulfill many of the “little” things that we wanted to provide to our guest. As time went by, I began to work with my “day of coordinator” Blake and again couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have him working with us for our wedding.
    Blake was fantastic. He was accommodating and stepped right in when something needed to be done. During the planning process we emailed back and forth to verify and confirm our information and if I needed I could just pick up the phone and call. The response time to my questions and request was timely and I couldn’t have picked a better event planning business.
    If you are used to planning & hosting your own parties/events and make the decision to have a wedding planner for your big day then choose L7 Events. They are a full service event planning company that will make you feel secure in knowing that your big day will be perfect.

    I had the pleasure of working with Blake at L7. L7 came HIGHLY recommended by our wedding venue (Hawkesdene Estate) and they truly were fantastic! Blake was so great in providing me with all the details and information I needed to make the decision making process easy. Blake was also quick in getting back to me on quotes and pricing for different items I was interested in. Even though we only needed to rent a tent with lighting from L7, everything was perfect! I would also highly recommend L7 to anyone that is in need of rentals, wedding planning services, flowers, etc. They are extremely professional and deserve 5 stars!

    Howie and his team provided the entire setup/decor for my best friend's remote wedding venue in the mountains of NC in 2013... and our experience with him was so amazing I called him back to help me with a non-profit charity venue in Roswell, Georgia for two years now (2014 & 2015) where he provided a GORGEOUS lighted tent to host 650 people for a ballet reception. Communication and attention to detail is excellent. The teams ideas and creativity is beyond any expectation. Totally reliable. I would not consider anyone else! After any event - you feel like you are best of friends with this team. They make it personal - so unique!

    Words fall short of expressing my gratitude and amazement for L7 Events. Not only did they bring their entire production to Texas for our small wedding, they handled all the challenges (hello, unexpected 30 degrees and rain for an outdoor event!) with cheerfulness and professionalism. Their motto is "Your Vision, Our Design," and they delivered an event far beyond any vision I could have created on my own - absolutely stunning!

    When my sister in Atlanta told me she was getting married at a North Carolina venue, I was concerned. Being that I do event planning on a small scale, I didn't think I could pull it off since I am located in NY. My sister hired Howie from L7 events. Over the year, we spoke via email and phone. I emailed my ideas, my inventory, and what vision I had for my sisters wedding. Howie and his staff delivered exactly what we discussed and did it with such class. Howie has a great eye for detail. This was one of the easiest events to plan even with a few states in between us. I strongly recommend Howie/L7 events if your event is close by, or in another part of the country. The entire day went off without a hitch. The reception tables were the prettiest tables I have seen in a long time. Don't hesitate for a minute and book L7 events, you won't regret it one bit. Give L7 events your ideas and watch your day turn into a magical day, with your guests talking about it for months and months. Next party/event, Howie and his staff will be the first people I contact.

    Planning a wedding is one of the most stressful times in a girl's life. It is a constant balance of managing the expectations of others, making a huge life transition and trying to balance a budget. The staff at L7 events made the coordination of our ceremony & reception completely stress-free and seamless.
    Howard was absolutely accommodating, helpful in his suggestions, and 100% respectful of our budget. He absolutely transformed the site of our reception from an unadorned pavilion into a place of beauty. It was exactly what I had envisioned and we are truly grateful for all of his attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend he & L7 Events for your next occasion. I have actually already hired him for some of my corporate functions as well. Stellar.

    Howie and his crew were professional and the lighting/decorations were gorgeously set-up. He was also flexible, which is very much appreciated. Low stress, easy going, and worked with us, especially in light of a short turn around time for planning and an iffy weather forecast. All around, go with these guys!

    Howie is seriously amazing. Easy to work with, flexible, and a great listener. I'm very type A, a bit of a control freak, but I felt completely at ease turning over my thoughts/ideas/diy touches to Howie to take care of. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and it wouldn't have been without him!

    The day was absolutely beautiful. The pictures are turning out so beautiful. Every detail was perfect. My vision of exactly what the tables and the backdrop for our wedding ceremony was exactly what I wanted. They had access to things I would have not been able to get since the venue was in a small town in the country. They delivered fresh Krispy Kremes for part of our dessert. Howie was very open to trying new things at this particular venue and excited to do so. I was very relaxed the day of the wedding and felt very confident everything would turn out great. I had so many compliments about the decor and how everything looked like a " Pinterest" wedding. His services cover everything you could think of. Just ask him and he will get it for you. We forgot our marriage license and he saved us by finding it and sending it off for us when we were on our honeymoon. Life saver :) I highly recommend L7 events for a wedding or any type of event.

    Howie provided the cake for our wedding (along with a great tasting session and some handy advice!) L7 events also transported the cake up to our wedding venue over 2 hours away. We were delighted with the service L7 Events provided as well as with our cake and would highly recommend Howie and his team!

    Howie and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were all very receptive to ideas, flexible and so very creative! I had an idea but nothing solid in my head for decorations, what they came up with was more beautiful than I could have imagined! If I were ever to get married again, I would call on them a second time! ;)

    We worked with Howie and he was incredible! What he did with the venue exceeded my vision. He was so easy to get a hold of, very flexible, and so creative. We got a clear tent with lights and everyone was in awe of how beautiful it made the venue.

    Howie and the L7 team were such a blessing to have on my special day! Not only did they work with me leading up to the wedding but Howie was also there to calm my anxiety on the big day. The ceremony was perfectly planned and executed by Howie himself and the reception was out of this world. Our theme was a Midsummer Night and the L7 team made that happen! There were special touches all over the venue that I had never thought of but were so beautifully placed. There were signs of nature all around and the lighting was spectacular! One of my colours was gold and Howie even bought gold Chuck Taylor's (converse) to wear for the special occasion! He thought of every detail and my day was pretty much stress free! I can't thank the L7 team enough for their professionalism and friendliness throughout the whole planning process. I highly recommend them to anyone involved in planning any event. You will NOT be disappointed!

    I cannot say enough positive things about L7! They were absolutely wonderful to work with. They listened to my concerns and desires for my wedding day and because of that everything looked exactly the way I envisioned it! If any challenged arose Howard was flexible and quick to have a solution.
    My wedding was supposed to be outside but it rained the entire weekend. I think what impressed me the most, among everything else, was that he was able to transform the reception hall into an indoor wedding. It was beautiful!
    Oh and just a little extra for you....his center pieces are the most impressive I have ever seen, a true talent.

    From the very first meeting I knew Howie was the right man for the job. He is such a creative individual and has such amazing ideas. He took my "rustic chic" theme and transformed it into more than I could have hoped for. Every last detail was perfection. From the wedding invitations, flowers, centerpieces, staff, decorations and wedding directing, Howie and his team were on there A game. It took alot of stress off me and my family to not have to worry about last minute details. Howie is worth his weight in gold. I truly appreciate all his hard work into making my day so special and memorable. It was a day I will never forget!

    I honestly can’t say enough about Howie and his team at L7 Events. We utilized L7 for our floral, tent rental, and ceremony musician coordination for our North Carolina Mountain March wedding & couldn’t be more pleased with our choice and the service. I sent Howie numerous images and descriptions of how I envisioned the overall theme (Mountain Elegant is what I called it) of my vision for our wedding & Howie took my vision for the table-scaping & florals on the tables, and ceremony site decor and brought it to life exactly, if not better, than I had imagined it, even when we had to change our ceremony location after almost a year of planning. He helped me keep my vision and turn the new site into something just as beautiful. As an interior designer, it is hard to let go of my creative mind and turn it over to someone else, but Howie assured me everything would be wonderful – and it was. I know for a fact Howie will do what it takes to make everything perfect and assure his brides they will have the wedding of their dreams even when they are on a budget. He also appeased me on the day of the wedding by allowing my mother; who is also a wedding coordinator and floral designer to help him with some of the flowers (by his choice or by necessity because she kept lingering, that answer is still unknown to me!) Thank you for your compassion, patience and down to earth personality. I would highly recommend Howie & his team L7 Events.

    This was our only daughters wedding, and though I myself am a small business owner and deal with many details daily my husband and I wanted to have someone take care of her wedding and let us enjoy! Enjoy we did, I hope L7 has pictures on their site, it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended.
    They had so many great ideas for decorating a large outside space(a farm) to make it seem intimate.

    L-7 recommended a caterer that we were so pleased with, and the caterer and Howie worked so well together.

    L-7 had endless decorating possibilities, and was open to taking things that were important to us and using them with their products. More than once I caught Howie up in a tree hanging lights, and frames,
    special touches that were really the extra mile.

    When our daughter was leaving she kissed her daddy and said "thanks, it was everything I wanted it to be." That was all we wanted.

    Howie was fantastic to work with. Responded very promptly to all of my needs, comments, ideas. I felt that only after one meeting that he knew exactly what my vision was for our wedding. Howie made plenty of site visits and had wonderful suggestions. He and his team were very professional and knew how to handle a crises well when a Natural Gas Truck backed into our tent the day of the rehearsal dinner! I have seen Howie in action and would recommend his services and very dependable nature to any bride who may need reassurance (like I did at times!) many times over. Our destination wedding weekend in the mountains at an estate went so smoothly I hardly noticed the guys were there slaving away and enjoyed every minute of the weekend-it went by all too fast-and so smoothly.     L7 Events provided the DJ and flowers for our wedding. The flowers they provided were beautiful and healthy and my mother-in-law arranged them for us. They turned out absolutely gorgeous! They also put together sunflower arrangements in our room and we ended up using them in our wedding ceremony.

    The DJ they provided (DJ Chad Curtiss) was awesome! He was outgoing, fun, and played great music for us! We even ended up adding on an extra hour at the end of the night because the guests were having such a great time!

    Howie and his team were such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. We gave them a vision for 'rustic chic', sent him countless photos (thank you Pinterest!) and added they truly delivered that. The venue team even commented that they have never seen such a gorgeous decor set-up from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception tables-capes to the massive bridal bouquet and boutonnieres. His florals are exceptional quality, absolutely breathtaking! They are the epitome of a one stop shop for your EVERY need, no exaggeration here. From tents, cakes, chandeliers, all florals and cigar bars to wine barrels, up lighting, day of planning, vendor management and MORE! They do it ALL for you...and for great pricing!!! Trust me, as an event professional in Atlanta we saved a lot by choosing L7 Events....and everyone commented that we must've spent more than $30K on just the decor and florals. That's how beautiful and breathtaking the set-up of everything was. I gave a 4 on responsiveness as I am always expecting quick responses; however, please note that Howie and his team do not disappoint and always come through on their promises exceeding expectations. They are a pleasure to work with; always smiling and work very hard to make your day perfection. That is what was delivered on our wedding day - pure perfection. I wish I could post pictures here!     Howie was a lifesaver for me. We had a tent reserved through another vendor, and in the 11th hour realized that the tent was in disarray and looked worn, tattered, and discolored. Howie rented to us a beautiful tent that was in great shape at a very reasonable price. He was great to work with!

    First I will say that my wedding reception and flowers ended up being beautiful. Blake and L7 events did a great job pulling it all together. I used them full service for the tent, flowers, cake, and coordinating at Hawkesdene. Having it all in a one stop shop especially for a destination wedding was pretty amazing.

    The only negatives were on communication as responsiveness was pretty slow. I felt I had to restate things a lot and there were definitely some things lost in communication. I hired them for "month of coordinating" and hoped I would get more attention out of that but it was closer to a day of coordinator. I also felt that there were less flowers on tables and cakes then I thought there would be based on pictures I shared. Although a little different than I thought, it was still very beautiful and the bouquets were gorgeous.

    If you are someone like me that really obsesses over quick communication and likes things SUPER organized, just note that you will need to stay on top of it a little. The end product is very nice.

    L7 events provided a tent rental for our wedding. They had to set it up the night before in the middle of our rehearsal dinner but the tent was good quality and served its purpose as it rained on the day of our wedding. It was fairly priced for a last minute need.

    L7 Events caused some stress for me at my wedding a few months ago at Hawkesdene. Though they did a great job putting the final product together, I was unhappy with the lack of responsiveness throughout the process and their late arrival to setup the tent. Overall, they were one of the least expensive vendors I found which is why I chose them, but if I could do it all over again, I would have chosen a more expensive vendor for piece of mind and regular communication throughout the wedding process. When I could get ahold of them, they were very friendly and nice, but it was the getting ahold of them part that stressed me out.

    Maybe L7 Events was better when there were employee's other than the owner Howie. I had an appointment with an employee with L7 Events, Blake. By the time my appointment came, Blake was no longer employed there and we had to work with the owner Howie. His reliability and communication wasn't the best, but I felt bad for him as he seemed as if he just lost an employee and had a lot on his shoulders. L7 Events is practically the only event company in the area, so I gave him a chance. He continued repeatedly to have much lag time or no responses to my emails. I felt like I was chasing him to do his job, which as a bride planning a wedding, I wanted the vendors to be easy to work with, ease my stress, not add to it. I could go on and on, but in summary, I'd hoped that his end product at our wedding would make it worth it. It looked beautiful, don't get me wrong. Only I knew what was missing. He had offered to throw things in with no additional cost. I didn't ask for free stuff, but don't offer unless you are going to follow through. There were a few important things he didn't provide that were offered. If you want additional stress leading up to your wedding day and lack of follow through, use L7 Events. I wish another company doing the same type of event work opened up in the area for future weddings/events there.

    If you want your wedding coordinator to be totally stressed out trying to contact your vendor then choose this company. L7 service is inadequate and the main person I had initial contact with (and also the most talented person on staff) quit a few weeks prior to my wedding. Howie/the owner/manager/whatever he calls himself consistently lied to me assuring me that all my plans were still in place. My wedding decorations were not ready on wedding day---boutonnieres and corsages were prepared minutes prior to start of the ceremony, no decoration on the church pews, no toss bouquet and the petals on my middle aisle runner were scarce at best--just to mention a few of the wedding day mishaps. The communication was so poor that I felt entirely disrespected and appalled that businesses like this exist. Not to mention, I was over charged hundreds of dollars on my credit card after my wedding and the owner refuses to own up to his mistakes. So much for costumer satisfaction!

    Using L7 as our wedding planner was one of the largest mistakes of our lives. The owner, Howie, is extremely unprofessional and we wish we could go back in time so that Howie never had a thing to do with our wedding. We originally anticipated using a planner out of Asheville, but the owners of our venue encouraged us to use L7. What a mistake! Initially, our assigned planner at L7 was Blake. He seemed organized and responsive. However, a few months before our wedding, he stopped responding to us. He had quit. The owner, Howie, promised he'd have plenty of time for us, but was largely unresponsivness to us, failing to return calls and emails. When we finally were able to speak with him, he seemed generally organized and we had sympathy for him since an employee had left. However, once our wedding came, he was a disaster. Almost nothing that we ordered and paid for made it to the venue (sparse grocery store flowers in lieu of the many thousands of dollars we paid for florals, missing draperies, missing custom linens, missing chargers, missing candles, etc, etc, etc). Both my husband and I were speechless when we entered our reception site because so many things were missing. Despite having an agreed vendor timeline, Howie also failed to have the wedding party florals ready in time for the agreed and scheduled pre-wedding photography session. As another example, we paid for a string quartet for the ceremony - when we started walking down the aisle, Howie only had a single guitarist with an electronic back track. We were shocked. After the wedding, Howie agreed he had "dropped the ball" (understatement) and promised to return several thousand dollars to us. It's almost a year out and we've not seen a penny. He won't respond to any of our calls or emails. I hate to say this, but after reading other reviews where couples had similar experiences, I think he may be a scam artist. We would NEVER recommend him.

    I do not even know where to start. Hiring this "company" was the absolute worst decision I could have ever made. After being incredibly unprofessional for months leading up to my wedding, Howie did not fulfill a LARGE amount of services/items stated in our contract. After my wedding Howie agreed to refund me several thousand dollars, which he never paid me. My wedding was several months ago, and Howie will not return emails and/or phone calls. He is not going to refund me my promised money. The situation has gotten so bad that I had to file a lawsuit in order to get my money back. However, Howie STILL can't be contacted...according to the court. I am in utter shock that a person and "business owner" would do something so horrible to his clients. I hoped that Howie would be an ethical human being and refund me the money that he promised me. I know that to him my wedding was "just another wedding," and his actions show that he truly does not care at all. But that was my one and only wedding day. And what he did at my wedding was absolutely terrible. When I saw what everything looked like I was so heartbroken. My reception felt like I was walking into a nightmare. Every time I look at my wedding pictures I'm reminded of how horrible he made things look and all of the things I paid him for that were not there. I want other people to know what happened to me so that you DO NOT hire L7 Events. I pray that Howie has not done the same thing to anyone else. Honestly, I don't know that he even still has a business, but if by some chance he does, please know that he is the most unethical, dishonest, and unprofessional person I've encountered. I never imagined that anything like this would have happened to me. A breach of contract is illegal. His business deserves to be shut down completely. L7 Events has been reported to the Better Business Bureau.

    L7 was recommended by the venue in NC where we had our event. They knew their professionalism and creativity were the reasons why they can safely offer their contact for heightened event planning.
