  Booking L Rock Entertainment was the best decision I made for my wedding

  Christina LaRocca sang live with guitar and audio soundtrack for my wedding to greet the guests, then during the ceremony and cocktail hour. She has a beautiful voice and is extremely talented with a large bank of songs that she knows. All of my guests were raving about how magical she made the wedding with her special flow. She was extremely easy to work with, organized and detail oriented, professional but still very personable, and set all of my many concerns at ease. She came equipped with all the the tools she needed and seamlessly sounded the different areas of my wedding, which was a large outdoor space, and it sounded amazing. She brought the vive I was looking for the wedding to life. I can honestly say she was the best and easiest vendor to work with. I sampled her DJ services and regret that I already had booked a DJ before meeting her. Regardless, she was the perfect addition to the wedding and added an extra layer of elegance to the wedding. Thank you Christina for being such an amazing person!

  Christina is the best DJ we have ever worked with. We found her in 2022 and have only used and recommended her ever since. Great communication, timely, organized, great equipment. She has been a preferred vendor for Albertson’s Wedding Chapel, for two years now and we, and our couples couldn’t be happier with her overall professionalism, energy and care she takes to make sure they have the best time.
  
  Christina is the kind of person who not only arrives on time, but she is flexible depending on the needs of the event and respects the venue. Overall she sets the perfect tone for the entire wedding. Our staff also really enjoys working with her. We absolutely adore having her on our roster.   Christina and Gene were amazing! Our guests had a fantastic time and could not stop raving about their talents! We hired Christina and Gene for acoustic music during our cocktail hour and to DJ/MC our reception and we have no regrets! They were also super responsive along the way and very communicative about expectations. Price was totally reasonable as well. Highly recommend! 5/5

  What can't we say about Christina? we LOVE her!!! From the moment we got on the phone with her, my hubby and i knew that she was going to fit our vibe. Plus, I was searching for a female DJ and I couldn't have asked for more. Our friends and fam were moving & grooving to the music all night. everything went off without a hitch, and we couldn't be happier. worth every penny (...and honestly she should be charging more pennies for what we got) thank you so much, we will definitely be in touch

  Christina and Gene really care about the service they provide for the bride and groom. They were thorough in their preparation, on time and so easy to work with. They were such a great help when we were behind on the schedule and worked with us to find ways to save time and fit everything important into the evening. I would love to work with them again - it's so nice to have live music and dj all in one.

They also DJed our reception and we absolutely loved them. Christina was super helpful in helping us create a great timeline for all the different events we wanted during our reception. She even took the time to research a few different wedding traditions that she wasn't all that familiar with. Christina was truly the backbone of our wedding and we couldn't have survived the day without her.
  
  Needless to say Christina is an excellent communicator, easy going, flexible and very professional. We sent a list of new songs that would be considered challenging considering their genre, and they were able to pull them off perfectly..... They are worth every penny, and I can't wait to have them perform at any future events!!!

  We decided to marry virtually via court. It was tugging on our hearts to have a small God centered ceremony. With only a weeks notice we found this site and posted out need for a singer to provide music for our ceremony. We recieved many responses however Christina and Gene really stuck out. From the 1st contact they took the time to thank us, congratulate us and provide us with all the information needed. Even, when we had questions after our initial contact they answered every one professionally and gave us peace and assurance. There was nervousness over booking a performer without meeting them in person but Christina sent over videos of performances and their voices blew us away. The song requested was not on their playlist but they took the short time given to learn it. I walked down the isle to the rest of our lives to the most beautiful voices serenading us. After the ceremony they stayed to play for our guests. We can not count how many people asked where we found them and how amazing they sound. On top of their talent they are genuinely nice people who you just want to stay and join the party. I love them!!! I can not express how happy I am to have hired them. Thank You Christina and Gene for being attentive, flexible, inprovising, professional and for helping us make our wedding so memorable. We love and appreciate you!!! Hire them they are high quality pure talent!!!

  Literally the best party band EVER!

  Y’all!! I am so happy with Gene and Christina, that I don’t have the words to explain how amazing they are! Not only are they incredibly talented, but they are a lot of fun and show up on time. Their communication prior to the event was great! I really loved their vast catalogue of songs from classic rock to today’s pop. I also loved their willingness to learn any special requests I had prior to the event!
  
  Did I mention that they had the entire party dancing?! Everyone had a blast! I chose to hire the full band, but they also have an acoustic set for more intimate settings!
  
  If you are having a party of any sort, I highly recommend Gene and Christina! You won’t be disappointed!!

I had an amazing wedding at an upscale venue, but the first thing that people tell me when they approach me is, wow, what an amazing singer that girl was... I want her for my wedding! Her vocal stylings will be what makes your wedding a memorable and unforgettable event. I highly recommend this professional and talented woman!!

  Great song selection, GREAT Voice, Super east to work with.

  Christina & Gene were extremely easy to work with... despite our booking them less than two weeks before the event. They showed up early, and had everything they needed... and totally worked with us. We received MANY compliments (which really should have gone to them!) about how much everyone enjoyed the performance, and the positive mood that her music set for our event.   A true professional artist !

  Christina & Gene was one of the biggest highlights of my wedding. The night of my wedding was perfect with every song they played they had everybody up and dancing with great energy and a great vibe not to mention Christina’s beautiful power house voice! Definitely recommend!

  Wedding DJ

  Overall I would definitely say you get what you pay for. Thought it was very unprofessional that we were charged for their business license since the venue of our wedding is owned by the city and requires it, was told that it really hurts her bottom line; the license was not new information since this was advised during our initial call. Was then told "oh we also booked another wedding at the same venue!", so then why are we paying for your business license?   Overall I would definitely say you get what you pay for. Thought it was very unprofessional that we were charged for their business license since the venue of our wedding is owned by the city and requires it, was told that it really hurts her bottom line; the license was not new information since this was advised during our initial call. Was then told "oh we also booked another wedding at the same venue!", so then why are we paying for your business license?   Hi Amanda,
  Once again, I apologize that you are upset. As I explained, the $49 fee was charged to your balance since I was not notified about the local business license the venue required all vendors to get to work your party until after you and I negotiated/contracted a rate. For only a total of $799 I provided the following services: I DJ and MCed your wedding, provided dance floor lights, a second PA for ceremony, insurance (which i had to purchase more of to satisfy the venue), specially curated playlists for ceremony/cocktail hour. I traveled to Camarillo from Costa Mesa (91 miles), brought a second sound engineer, and completed all of the venue’s paperwork in a timely manner.
  The bridal party grand entrance was changed a handful of times right before it went down and again, i apologize for missing one pairing, but it was quickly corrected, they were announced and everyone was happy. I am a professional singer, and part of the Recording Academy. I fold that into my MC styling i stead of blurting fratty things into the mic all nights like many wedding MCs do. The dance floor was bumping all night and guests kept complimenting my work so I do believe in the end, it was a very successful party, and I am proud of my work. Once again, thank you again for hiring me.

  She canceled

  I booked this dj well before my wedding and even paid the 2nd portion two days ago. She emailed me today at 9:10pm to inform me that “I got my wires crossed on the weekend and agreed to something I shouldn't have and then it was too late. Honest mistake. I'm actually losing out.”
  
  Did she pay the money I gave her thus far back? Sure….

The wedding is 7 months away and it is for reasons beyond my control, it is a personal matter and I agreed to be in a bridal party for my cousin on the east coast. I immediately refunded your deposit as well. I recommended several excellent DJs and offered to help rebook.
