One of the best decisions in our wedding planning

L Elizabeth Events took the stress out of our wedding day. We decided to work with Laura closer to our wedding day because we needed help managing vendor inquiries and making sure everything came together. Laura takes the time to understand what her clients want from their wedding day and works well with the vendors to make sure everything happens as it should. She makes note of all details, and executes so very well. Our wedding day was exactly what we wanted and it wouldn’t have happened without Laura. I only wish we had worked with her from the start. Laura is a Must Hire Wedding Planner & Dance Coach!!

My husband and I had the best day of our lives last August, and it would not have been near as perfect without Laura. She did a wonderful job guiding us through planning for the big day, giving us suggestions and plans for things we had not thought about, and was quickly responsive to any texts/emails/calls. She also did an excellent job coordinating with our other vendors and ensuring we everyone was set for the big day. Me, my partners, and my family weren't bothered with logistics at all the week approaching the wedding and the day of due to Laura's proactive planning.

Moreover, take advantage of her dance lessons! This was by far the most special process we went through approaching our wedding. It was so much fun and a great way to learn something new together for the big day. We had very limited experience dancing and she made us look awesome! But more importantly, she helped us make sure we had a fun and loving time with each other during the dance. It was our most cherished part of the wedding, and we are so glad we did it. So Happy We Choose Laura!

Laura really is worth every dollar spent on her. She was extremely patient with us throughout the whole planning process and handled the wedding so well that I was able to enjoy the ceremony and reception with no issue. She's definitely the best person to have by your side during your wedding planning journey. Laura has many vendor connections that led to us choosing vendors we would have never found on our own and she helped to rein me in when I whenever I felt I was losing it with stress.

Couldn’t have done it without Laura!

I cannot express how grateful we are for Laura. She was absolutely incredible! She loves what she does, and she’s so productive and efficient. She knows the wedding industry so well and that really helps a lot!

She recommended our videographer, photographer as well as other vendors! & we were actually mind blown at how amazing the pictures came out. She used to be a photographer so she really knows who’s good!
She has great recommendations about everything like decor, food and beverages etc. She made our experience absolutely perfect! I actually do not know what we would have done without her.

Planning a wedding can be very stressful and having Laura by my side was so great, she kept me calm and collected throughout the whole process and on the actual wedding weekend she was so hands on, dealing with every single little thing. I felt like a guest enjoying the event along with everyone else.

Our best decision was hiring Laura as our wedding planner! I HIGHLY recommend her.

Wonderful!

Laura was so wonderful to work with and truly a lifesaver! We went back and forth on getting a day-of-coordinator and eventually decided on it and wow are we grateful!! Although we hired her as a Day-of/Month-of coordinator, Laura was SO helpful as we navigated several wedding changes due to COVID. The day-of it was so relieving to have Laura handling all of the logistics so we could sit back and enjoy our wedding without the stress! If anything went wrong, we had no clue! I would definitely recommend Laura & L Elizabeth, you won't regret it!

Couldn't Have Done it Without You!

There is no amount of gratitude I can express to relay how grateful I am for Laura. THANK YOU so much! We couldn't have done it without you. Our wedding was set for July 4th 2020 and we unfortunately got the news that our original venue would not reopen in time for our wedding... three weeks out! No worries, Laura was on it! She got us in touch with Sonnenalp in Vail and were able to book within a day. Within days Laura and the Sonnenalp team helped us recreate all of our details: timeline, floorplan, menu, guest experience, room accommodations, etc. Laura's attention to detail, level of professionalism, quick communication with us and all our vendors to make sure everyone was updated... and above all, her ability to keep us calm, take the stress away, and reassure us it would still be an amazing day... made her an invaluable part of our wedding day and team! I cannot praise Laura enough for all her help to pull off our wedding in such a short amount of time. Our wedding was beautiful and better than we had ever hoped. We feel very blessed to have been able to celebrate with all our family and friends in Vail over 4th of July weekend despite everything going on in the world. We hired Laura as our dance instructor. Laura was such a fun and wonderful Dance teacher!! She is super easy going and gives lessons at her house which totally helped us feel comfortable. She has the cutest fur friends too (3 dogs)! Tucker and I were total beginners and she was super patient with us. Wedding planning can be stressful and Laura always kept us calm and worked with our crazy schedules! She really challenged us and came up with such a beautiful dance for the big day. The perfect addition for our big day!

It was so great having Laura as our month/day of coordinator for our wedding day. It was nice to have someone there that reached out to all the vendors and organize that part of the wedding while I did the remaining details for our wedding. It was so great having her there on the day of to make sure people knew where to be and when, to grab things myself and the groom may have forgotten and help with set up. Not only was she extremely helpful, she was affordable compared to most planners in the mountains, especially the Vail Valley. I would definitely recommend Laura to my friends and family!

Vail Wedding

There are no words to explain my appreciation for Laura! Having no family in Colorado, we wanted someone to help guide me through the wedding process and take over for the month of. Laura was the best decision my fiance and I made through out the whole process. She created a design board for me, which helped guide my vision for the wedding. She was quick with her responses and always made time for my many questions. After the wedding my fiance continues to tell people it was the most stress free wedding he has ever experienced and I keep reminding him it was because of Laura. She took over the entire month of and handled all my vendors. She created the timeline and made sure everyone knew what was expected of them.
We got married in Vail and an unusual cold front happened the weekend of our wedding in June. I was stressing about the weather with pictures and canceled on the top mountain pictures. Laura handled the situation. She knew exactly where to send the photographers and videographers so that we were still able to have the most beautiful mountain photos. All I can say is thank you Laura for giving Bryan and I the most magical wedding. We are so grateful for you!

Laura was incredible to work with. We began working with her 10 months before the wedding and during the planning process she was incredibly organized and methodical to her approach to the wedding. She is incredibly familiar with all of the regions vendors and saved us a ton of time and money in dealing with them. While that would be expected from a seasoned wedding planner where Laura really distinguished herself was with her constant flexibility, positive attitude and ability to meet all of our requests. Along the way she saved a ton of money and time. Some of our requests were some what hard and yet some how Laura met them – for example: “I like this specific style photobooth but I want to pay ¼ of the price”. Somehow Laura found a company that did that. "We want a classical Spanish guitar to play in the middle of the Colorado mountains" Laura, “done.” We are out of the country and are worried about the save the date responses getting lost – “I’ll print, mail, and collect those for you.” "We want the band to play 4 hours instead of 3." Laura, “we can do that." Laura really worked magic at our wedding and the entire event went off with a hitch. Having Laura guide us through the preparation process and be there with her assistants on the wedding day removed so much pressure from the entire process for us and we could not be happier with her. She comes highly recommended!

We cannot praise Laura enough for how our day turned out! We rented a beautiful home in Breckenridge to host our wedding, but received many more RSVPs than anticipated and so our plan for a ceremony and reception had to move outdoors. In Colorado, that can be a total gamble, but Laura knows mountain weather here so well. She had a plan A, B, and C ready to go at a moment's notice. She also brought to our attention so many other things we never considered when it comes to planning a DIY wedding. The day of ended up requiring a quick flip of the home from ceremony to reception due to crazy Colorado weather - all four seasons in one day! She made the space work for everyone and it was beautiful. I loved working with her every step of the way and could not image the wedding without her. She is phenomenal!

Laura is awesome. I am an admittedly super Type A personality who had a 13 page checklist and multiple spreadsheets when planning my wedding. Laura helped me to make sure that all of that planning went perfectly on the day of. People say that something always goes wrong on your wedding day-not in my case! We had the perfect day from start to finish.

She was super responsive and organized. She was on time/early for the rehearsal and the event. It was so fantastic to have her communicate with each of the vendors on the day of so that my husband and I could enjoy our day. After the wedding, she had everything packed up for us so that clean up/loading the car literally took under 5 minutes. Thank you so much to Laura-I would recommend her to anyone who wants their wedding to go flawlessly!

We used Laura for my first daughters wedding out of state. We had the most amazing experience with her, she made Kaitlin's wedding a dream come true & a party that we will never forget. When my other daughter got engaged we knew we HAD to have Laura coordinate & help us plan the most perfect day. Although, it was out of state for her she was excited for the adventure! We can't thank Laura enough for planning our wedding! In the early stages of planning, she was very good about explaining what needed to be booked soon (and why) and what things could wait until the event got closer. She had great suggestions for vendors that she's had good experiences with in the past and we were happy with every vendor we used! We picked our reception hall based on location, even though the room itself was pretty unremarkable and a little drab. Laura was able to figure out a color scheme that was in line with what we wanted, but also didn't "fight" the colors of the room by looking out of place. She coordinated getting custom table-runners made (for cheap too!) and worked with the florist to create a gorgeous array of paper lanterns in the reception hall that we were absolutely thrilled with when the only guidance I gave was "I want paper lanterns." Laura also worked with us closely on creating an event timeline and thinking of and planning for things well in advance that we probably wouldn't have thought of until wedding weekend. The wedding day required a lot of logistics - we had the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors at a venue a block away from the reception hall. This involved a lot of set-up, take down, and moving things like the bar. To add to the complexity, a local art fair was going on right outside the ceremony, which made it more difficult for vendors to drop things off. All of this went off without a hitch! We were blown away by how professional the staff were. From our perspective, the entire day ran like a well-oiled machine! If I hadn't had a wedding planner, I probably would have been pulling my hair out. But having Laura meant we got to relax and enjoy our day. We got many "best wedding ever" comments and - even though we are biased - we have to agree :) Laura also was our photographer and the pictures were AMAZING! It was very important to us to have good pictures and we were definitely not disappointed!

I HIGHLY recommend Laura as a coordinator or planner for your wedding. We used Laura as our day of coordinator, and included some additional planning hours and a walk-through of the venue in our package with her. She was indispensable. She knows vendors and how the industry works, she gives great advice about things like decor and the timeline for the day and she is incredibly responsive. She helped us create a vision for the decor that turned out beautifully. The planning process can be overwhelming and it was such a relief to have Laura in our corner. On the day of the wedding Laura was AMAZING. She ran the show from beginning to end. She went to our rental house to pick up all the wedding decor items. She oversaw all the other vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page for the timeline. We just had to show up, and she had everything set-up, and guided us through all the events of the night (dances, toasts, etc). At the end of the night she had all our stuff packed in our car and ready to go. I got many compliments from family and friends about her efficiency and her friendly and funny personality. She is fun and super easy to work with. She was a huge asset to the day and we could not have done it without her. I think having Laura on board was the single most important decision we made in regards to our wedding -- she makes everything easier and we were able to truly enjoy our day because of her. Laura was our photographer for our event and she also helped with the day of planning and coordination. Laura is very detailed oriented and we were extremely pleased with the quantity and quality of pictures we received. We hired Laura for both photography and wedding planning services (consulting and day-of-coordination). I had several people close to me question hiring a wedding planner since I was having an "average cost" wedding. I discovered from the beginning it was a terrific decision, but when those same doubters came to me after the wedding and commented about how smooth everything went and how wonderful the wedding was, it all came full circle!
Laura's professionalism, prompt responses, and industry knowledge are priceless. I was very comfortable going to her for questions, bouncing ideas off her, or requesting vendor assistance. I always knew I would get an answer from her almost immediately. She was so helpful in making design suggestions when I was stuck.
I just got a peek at our wedding photos and she managed to capture every aspect of the day! I would absolutely recommend to any bride to hire L Elizabeth Events!

Laura was simply amazing. We used her for day of coordination for our wedding and so glad we did. We are both very organized people but decided this was an investment worth making for the day of our wedding. Laura quickly responded to any of our emails or phone calls, often faster than I would have ever possibly expected.

She made sure everything was in order at the rehearsal the day before the wedding and the day of our wedding she was super organized. She drafted a detailed timeline pointing out things that might otherwise get overlooked. I never had to worry about a thing going on with the vendors or setup that day. And at the end of the night she made sure everything was packed up and taken care. My husband and I and our families were really able to enjoy the wedding without having to worry about the little day of details. Highly recommend.

I photographed a wedding up in Winter Park. Laura was so helpful in so many ways. She helped me arrange photographs, timed everything so perfectly, assisted when I needed eyes in other areas of the mountain, and helped me retain my sanity for the entire day. She was professional, encouraging and and overall joy to work with. I hope to get to work with her in the future.

Laura is a true gem! Her creativeness shines through in her event planning and her attention to detail is above & beyond. She put together an amazing winter wedding that was breathtaking! Bride from Adelaide Australia and the groom from Denver Colorado, so this meant 99% of our communication was conducted over skype or email (from various email accounts). Laura was fantastic and responded quickly no matter what the time or day which would have been hard given the time zones. We picked Laura as she was a good mix of artistic and sensible (budget) and she said her aim was to 'knock our socks off at the reception'...she did! We did go over budget but only because of items that were not in the original budget that were added by us later. The vendors that were selected were fabulous and went so very well with what my daughter was looking for in the overall look. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Laura who made the day wonderful and managed our hicups of the bride losing her voice and EMT's being called to another guest which meant the order of events being rescheduled. Fantastic day thank you so much Laura.

We chose Laura for wedding planning and photography, and I couldn’t have been happier! Laura was perfect from start to finish, and she delivered the perfect stress-free day.

As an international bride there were plenty of planning challenges. Our guests came from all over the world, so planning involved organising accommodation, pre- and post-wedding activities, even the Welcome Party the day before. Add to that I lived in Australia, my fiancé in Arizona, and the wedding was in Colorado – what a headache! But Laura was wonderful; she understood just what we wanted, and she was the perfect combination of creative (bringing our vision to life) and sensible (keeping us on task and on budget!) I was particularly impressed with how she dealt with the time difference. I’d envisioned waking up at some ungodly hour to meet a “9-5 workday” in Denver, but Laura was happy to arrange Skype meetings on her evenings and weekends, and she was always contactable by email.

Even if you weren’t planning a wedding from the other side of the world, I would highly recommend Laura. We really debated about whether to hire a wedding planner because we thought it might be an extra expense we didn’t need. But it was the best decision we made! At the end of the day “weddings” are an industry just like anything else, and having someone like Laura who knows the industry back-to-front is invaluable. She knew who to work with, what was good value for money, and what would work. Laura said her job was to deal with all the stressful, problematic and “boring” stuff so we could enjoy doing the fun parts of wedding planning. She was spot on! As the days to the wedding drew closer I realised just how much there was to do, and how I couldn’t fit it in. Laura kept us calm and organised, dealing with all the things you don’t even think of, and ensuring everything went smoothly.

Laura – the wedding was just what we wanted, you know we couldn’t have done it without you!!!

Laura was so amazing to work with. Our engagement photos turned out perfect, and our wedding pictures were even more amazing. Our wedding was at the top of a mountain in the middle of winter. It took 2 gondolas to get up there and Laura really captured the winter wonderland theme in the photos. I was really happy with my decision to go with Laura. She was also so much fun to work with!

We used L Elizabeth Events for photography. We never really connected with a photographer until we met Laura. We liked her crisp style and how she was able to capture those special moments. Leading up to our wedding, we could tell that she has experience wedding planning because she knew the right questions, timing and gist of it all. We felt confident and happy after booking her. But, after the wedding, we were thrilled that we decided to go with L Elizabeth Events. Our guests complimented us on how fun and refreshing it was to see someone love their job so much. Laura did our engagement photos and they turned out absolutely amazing!! I was nervous to pose for the photos and Laura made us both feel at ease and directed us in a way that felt really natural and fun. We had a theme that we wanted to work with as well and Laura took it from a few ideas to a complete vision and it ended up looking very professional and especially unique. I would highly recommend Laura; she is a pro through and through but is extremely personable and an absolute pleasure to work with!

We received our cd of engagement pictures 9/18 and are SO happy with them!!! How do you pick a favorite with so many excellent photos?! The background and feel turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for. Laura was so flexible with outfit changes, location and poses. It's hard to put into words how happy we are with Laura and her team. From the start Laura was flexible with the packages she offers and it worked out perfectly that we included the day-of coordination. Laura was very responsive with suggestions on how the day should flow and where pictures should be taken. We had very specific requests for places we wanted to take pictures and they turned out beautifully! And there were other pictures that we were pleasantly surprised with also. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with L Elizabeth Wedding Planning & Photography will be very pleased with her work and I would not hesitate one bit to refer her to anyone!

Suggestions to brides: be sure to think about where you want your formals and with who. While Laura did exactly what we had asked we now realize there were a few pictures we did not get (ie. immediate family only with no grandparents, both parents with the bride and groom) and also location. We had our wedding at a church and we did our formals outside and we now wish we would have done them inside the church.

Again, Laura did a wonderful job and we are so happy with everything. This is just something I would suggest for brides and grooms to think about because in the moment, you don't even think about it!

Thank you so much for being our wedding day planner on August 7 at the Red Lion Restaurant!!!!! You were super amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend you to any bride. Not only did you provide us with a well thought out timeline for the wedding day, you were there for rehearsal and the wedding day. Every time I looked you were there helping me calm down or you were asking if I needed anything. We were super glad and very impressed with your level of professionalism and your take initiative attitude. You went above your job description and as a bride I felt at peace with hiring you. It made me feel less stressed..wait i was not stressed at all. I think knowing that you were taking of it or someone else took care of issues that arose made me feel at peace. The day was more than I ever expected or imagined!! It went smoothly and I will always cherish how beautiful the day went! I had so much fun dancing which was my ultimate goal. My only regret was not getting you for a full time wedding planner from the beginning. We were trying to save money and do everything ourselves but I wished we would have listened to people about hiring a full time wedding planner. At times, being a do it yourself bride was very stressful since there were details upon details. My advice to brides is, “PLEASE don’t stress yourself out doing it yourself, get a planner or have someone help you out!”

I have to say the preperations invloved in getting our wedding togather was mind boggiling. However it must be said that the our photographer Laura was the easiest vendor to work above all others. From the cake baker almost making the wrong kind of cak to the florist and her wilted petunia, I wholly expected something to go wrong wih the photographer. When Laura showed up she was very professional and had a great creative mind. The photos she took of the family were spectacular second only to my wife's bridal photos.

Laura and Meredith were excellent. They worked with our big family (lots of kids) and friends to make the pictures not only beautiful, but extremely efficient, which on such a busy wedding day is much appreciated. Laura worked with me and helped me plan timing etc before the wedding day, which was very helpful since I did not have a wedding planner. We planned a destination wedding, so Laura not only helped with logistics, but knew the location extremely well so I felt more than comfortable in her hands.

We first hired Laura for wedding planning services. We were sold the first time we talked to her, she was enthusiastic & excited about helping us, offering great advice, w/o insisting on doing things a certain way. She helped us w/ everything we asked for along the way. We liked the ala carte options she offered, where we had a block of hours to use during the planning process & day of coordination. This was perfect for us since we aren't from Colorado & wanted some help picking a venue & vendors w/ a good reputation, but still wanted to do some of the planning ourselves. A couple of weeks before the wedding she took charge, coordinating with vendors, making final arrangements, etc. On the wedding day everything went seamlessly, any hick-ups where handled behind the scenes & no one had to lift a finger.

I booked a lot of vendors extremely early & of course missed a few details... Realistically vendors have 100's of events between when I booked them & the date of our wedding, so it wasn't until a couple of weeks before that everyone started really focusing on the specifics. A week or two before the wedding when I thought I was done, there were several last minute items to deal with. Laura did a great job and took care of absolutely everything, but having loose ends so close to the day of made me a little uneasy.

We also booked Laura for photography services, her prices were comparable to others, & her enthusiasm was really what we were looking for in someone that we would end up spending so much time with on the day of the wedding. My husband & I aren't the most creative people in front of a camera, but Laura & her assistant were great & came up w/ a lot of ideas that fit our personalities. The best part about combining the planning & photography services was that Laura was there for the whole ceremony & reception, capturing pictures all the way up to the very end.

Laura & her team were wonderful & we couldn't have asked for the day to turn out any better!

L Elizabeth Events did a great job coordinating our wedding. They had lots of helpful hints, tricks and ideas leading up to the wedding. And the day of the wedding they did a great job making sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend hiring them for your big day so you don't have to worry about all the little details so you can really enjoy it and not feel as stressed out. WELL worth the investment.

My husband and I were so pleased with the high level of service that the photographer gave us. The pictures were beautiful and since almost every shot came out great it was hard for us to pick the ones for our album! We could not have asked for a more flexible, kind and accommodating photographer and we will definitely recommend this company to all of our friends. Their rates were also very competitive. Great job!

Laura Pearson did a phenomenal job planning and coordinating our wedding. We were extremely happy with her as our wedding planner.
She is not only a professional and an expert in event planning, she also has an incredibly creative side which proved to be very useful when working on the design of the wedding. Laura was enthusiastic and showed excitement when we would simply discuss various aspects of the design and planning of the wedding. You could tell she truly loves what she does. She has so many wonderful ideas and never did let anything slip through the cracks. She reminded me of all of the small details that I needed to be aware of and think about and made sure everything was set for the big day.
There’s many other things that Laura did a great job on, but to keep this at a reasonable length, let me just add that Laura has our full sincere recommendation from both a performance and a value perspective.

I wasn't paying the bills so I don't know about the value but L's ability to forget nothing and work around some very challenging weather and language challenges was truly impressive.

Laura was absolutely crucial to helping us plan our wedding, and her fee was very reasonable compared to other wedding planners in the area. I appreciated all the advice that she provided, and her vendor recommendations helped a lot when it came to deciding our florist, makeup and hair, and DJ. She also worked hard to ensure we had all our most important personal belongings from the ceremony and reception in our room by the end of the night.
However there were a few things during our wedding weekend that could have run a bit more smoothly, even though we tried to provide as much preparation as possible. They included not having a backup location for our rehearsal due to a random burst of hail, not allocating enough time for our seating setup, and communicating effectively with all our vendors prior to the wedding. Our rabbi didn’t know about our dress rehearsal time, the photographer had trouble during our family photo sessions because no one was there to organize it (once Laura was there I had to explain what to do), and my seating arrangements had to be redone at the last minute because the floor plan didn’t match what the restaurant had laid out.
No wedding goes absolutely smoothly, but these were crucial mistakes that could’ve made a big difference in helping organize and relieve a lot of stress during our wedding weekend. Overall, I do recommend using L. Elizabeth Events for wedding planning with these reservations in mind.

i felt like the wedding planner understood my vision for my wedding day and was able to provide creative ideas on ways to bring that to fruition. I believe the details are what makes a an event special and I felt that was achieved on our big day. I also thought they brought alot of knowledge in the market and was able to provide good recommendations for qualtiy wedding vendors at a reasonable price. However, I did not feel they provided the level of services I was expecting or paying for. For example, I was told they would " Manage the wedding from start to finish -supervising vendors, handling emergencies, creating a warm inviting atmosphere, etc.". On the wedding day, the wedding planner missed details, the tone and manner were aggressive. In addition, I was the one who put together the detailed "To Do List" for the wedding and assigned responsibilites and I don't feel that was my job. My advice is to make sure the specifics of the services are detailed out in the contract, so there is no misunderstandings as to who is responsible for what.

The photographers were rude they were bossy and the photos are awful!!!!!!!! I explained to her that i wanted my eyes to be lighter and to not be as dark and she told me the the photos turned out beautifully. Thats it she was awful to me the more and more i asked. I am incredibly unimpressed she ruined my wedding photos whatever you do dont use her! Use anyone else maybe you iphone!
