Outstanding Hotel stay and Wedding reception Dinner
We chose L'Auberge for our wedding in Sedona and could not be happier with everything. The hotel is first class. Beautiful, well maintained, service is superb, and the catering team (Katie Cowan) were amazing. The view of the Red Rocks were stunning. Our wedding reception and dinner were perfect. I would highly recommend L'Auberge for your wedding if you are thinking Sedona. -

Beautiful!
L’ Auberge is a beautiful place to stay. Great team of people to work with, even through this pandemic. I know everyone was busy with working and on top of that making sure everything was safe during this pandemic. Katie, Kayla, Ryan, Beto.. thank you! Thank you Ryan for your help with setting things up and running back and forth to my room because I forgot something.. haha. Beto, the banquet captain was so kind and organized. The food was fantastic! Extremely talented chef and baker! It started to rain briefly at the beginning of the ceremony, and the team quickly covered things up and handed out umbrellas. Luckily we didn’t need them for very long. Myself and our friends/family loved the set up and kind staff. There still talking about what a beautiful place/wedding it was. Thank you! -

L'Auberge is the most incredible wedding venue in Sedona
Sedona is one of the most spectacular places in the world to get married in, and L'Auberge is the most incredible wedding venue in Sedona, bar none. L'Auberge combines the sweeping vistas of the red rocks with the lush greenery along the babbling Oak Creek, and tops it all off with a level of professional service and culinary expertise that is unparalleled.
When our daughter and son-in-law decided on Sedona as the location for their wedding, my husband and I flew out with our daughter to spend a week in Sedona searching for the right venue. We toured every popular wedding venue in the area. When we arrived at L'Auberge, we knew within minutes we had found a place that was special. We walked out onto Spirit Song Terrace, which must be experienced in person to be fully appreciate the intimacy of the grassy lawn and observation deck in combination with the extraordinary views of the famous red rocks. We traveled from the terrace down the stone steps to the Monet Ballroom and another beautiful green lawn with red rock views. Then we toured the impeccably maintained hotel grounds, walked through the fabulous Creek House (stay there if you can!!), and took in the sights and sounds under the shady Sycamore trees alongside Oak Creek.
When we met with Katie Cowan, the Catering and Event Manager, she impressed us immediately with her level of attention to detail, and her willingness to work with us (we ended up being L'Auberge's first full vegan wedding). Katie is a gem, with a rock solid personality, and is the PERFECT person you want to be with you on a day when there is so much happening, and so many details to pull together. Little did we know, Katie would become our calm in the center of the storm that would be the day of our daughter's wedding (details to follow:).
During the months leading up to the wedding, the staff at L'Auberge worked with us throughout the planning process. Katie was always responsive to emails, and available by phone when needed. We elected to go out for a food tasting, and were impressed with Chef Randy's responsiveness and determination to create vegan entree options that were delicious, colorful, and artfully presented.
Our daughter's wedding was a weekend, family-only event, with 35 guests. One of the great aspects of a L'Auberge wedding is the different levels of lodging available - some of our guests decided to stay at Orchards Inn, a great option just up the hill and right in the center of downtown. Our immediate family stayed in the Creek House, which is another memory that will always be treasured. If you can stay there, STAY!! It is exquisitely appointed. Each of the guest rooms have phenomenal bathrooms, lighting, linens, TV's, and ambience. It was wonderful to share the connection of the common space with the huge concrete table, 90" TV, great bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and outdoor decks to take in the magic of Oak Creek. We had the welcome dinner and reception outdoors at the Creek House, which was magical. The staff at L'Auberge, in particular Lisa and Beto, provided impeccable and personal service. Guests' drinks were always refreshed. The buffet was carefully attended. Plates were cleared promptly. Lisa frequently checked in with us to ask if there was anything needed.
We're all SO thankful we decided to have the welcome dinner on the flagstone patio, which is where we had originally planned the wedding reception dinner. Because Mother Nature had a different plan in mind for the wedding day, then the typical mid June weather. Sedona had not received any rain in the three months preceding that weekend, but on our daughter's wedding day, a tropical storm came through (and we are from Florida, so there was much irony in this:).
Weather is always one of the sources of anxiety for an outdoor wedding, and I cannot say or thank Katie enough for how she carried herself -- and us -- through the wedding to make it even more magical, with and without the rain. She brainstormed last-minute ideas with us for a tent on the flagstone patio outside the Creek House. She walked us through options for moving the reception dinner inside, at both the Creek House and the Monet Ballroom. She let us wait until the last minute possible to judge the forecast before making a decision.
What I realize now, looking back, is that L'Auberge is well-equipped to handle changes due to weather. It's all part of their skill set and careful attention to detail. For the ceremony, the wedding party and guests who needed it were given beautiful transparent bubble umbrellas that kept them dry and allowed everyone unobstructed views (everyone planning an outdoor wedding should think of this!). Another indelible memory we will carry forward, and family still talks about, is how frequently they saw Lisa and her staff wiping raindrops off guest chairs as guests made their way up to Spirit Song Terrace for the ceremony.
Katie was an oasis of calm for our daughter, son-in-law and us all in managing the wedding day changes brought by the weather. She kept everyone positive, was in control of every detail, and for me (the one who usually fills that role), as the mother of the bride I was SO thankful to abdicate that responsibility and just be present to enjoy each moment of my daughter's special day. So when Katie turned to us, with the ever-present weather radar on her phone, and said it's time for the ceremony NOW, off we went, no questions asked. And sure enough, it literally stopped raining as we began walking our daughter down the aisle. So many special memories on that day!
In the end, it was a great move to have the reception dinner in the Monet Ballroom. We loved the transformation created there with specialized lighting, candles, and a wood-burning fireplace . . . more magic! The staff again outdid themselves with personalized service throughout each dinner course, which was delicious and exquisitely presented. Can't say enough about the culinary skills of Chef Randy and L'Auberge's catering staff! Every part of the wedding reception in the ballroom was perfect and the dance floor ended up being the epicenter of the evening, which would not have happened without the rain and change of plans:)
L'Auberge simply has it all for anyone planning a wedding in the red rocks of Sedona. It is a world class venue, in one one of the most visually stunning places on the planet, with genuinely caring staff that deliver personalized, professional service on EVERY level. If you're planning a wedding in Sedona, they will make it happen for you, too. ALL the yeses, and a heart full of thanks to L'Auberge for a wedding memory of a lifetime!!

This place has the privilege of being seated in the best spot of sedona
Amazing views and amazing amenities, as well as the staff. Was here to attend a friend's wedding and everyone here seems to appear to love their job and were VERY accommodating and approachable. Would definitely book an event here for the future -

Stellar Setting and Service
We had a ceremony and dinner at L'Auberge with our parents, siblings and their children. Every part of the day was spectacular- we could not have made a better decision for our intimate celebration. From the day Katie welcomed us to tour the property we knew we were in good hands. She was incredibly organized, thorough and helpful and worked with us from that first tour all the way through the day of our event. She could not be more polite and responsive. The setting is beyond words- a little fairytale world by the creek and a breath-taking view at our ceremony site. Chef Scott, Lisa, Robert, and Dianne were professional and thoughtful throughout the evening making and serving the delicious courses. They were always available to help with anything we needed, often anticipating things before we thought of them. This made the whole evening relaxing and fun for our entire family. What a special memory. We are going back for a couple nights to celebrate our first anniversary this year! Thank you to Jamelle Kelly for the beautiful photos and Shanandoah Sterling for the meaningful and personalized ceremony.-

Just Do It
We had an 11 person elopement and it was pure magic. The service is unreal. The room was unreal! From the moment we got there, we were taken care of. The ceremony was everything we ever wanted. Such a smooth process. Every vendor was top notch and a delight to work with. Yvonne and her team were incredible. I would trust them 100% with any wedding.-

Phenomenal experience! From check in, special requests, outstanding service and the best wedding dinner we could have hoped for, we loved every bit of our stay at L' Auberge. We stayed in a garden cottage which had the most luxurious outdoor shower, fireplace and cozy comfort. Before our room was even booked I had chosen Cress to be the ideal spot for our tiny wedding party to enjoy dinner. Our waiter was incredible. The way he described the selections on the menu was mesmerizing. The food was fantastic both from Cress and Etch. But, the best part of our stay was definitely the amazing and accommodating the staff. My husband had a small atv accident the day before our wedding and he was so well aided in ice deliveries, and assistance with anything and everything. It did not feel like customer service, it felt like personal care and concern for our stay, comfort and happiness. We can't wait to go back. -

L’auberge was a lifesaver. After our original venue in Sedona cancelled on us, we were shocked and frankly speechless. Initially we thought L'auberge would be way out of our price range and therefore didn't consider it. We were scrambling, and at this point, three months before our wedding, I called them to see. I figured it would not hurt and we were willing to pay extra for security and a peace of mind. However, when all was said and done, the best part was that the cost was comparable to our original choice.
Our venue coordinator was Katie. She is brilliant at what she does - well organized, very responsive, professional, patient, and above all friendly. Most of our communication with Katie happened via email or phone since we live in Phoenix. Katie took her time to make sure we had all of our questions answered. She made us feel very secure and we felt we were in good hands. Coming from an experience that was the complete opposite, I kept asking my husband when things would go wrong. Needless to say everything was perfection and I can’t thank Katie and her team enough for making our day so special.
L'auberge as a venue speaks for itself - it’s very picturesque and charming, but the staff matches the ambiance. We choose the area by the creek for our wedding (ceremony and reception). It was beautiful and tranquil, unlike what you might expect a location in the center of Sedona would be. If you are considering Sedona as your wedding location, we highly recommend L'auberge. They have multiple wedding packages to choose from, which are customizable to your needs. -

We had an amazing wedding here in October! What more could you ask for with a ceremony overlooking the red rocks and a reception by the creek. We rented the creek house which was absolutely beautiful for a reception and gives more of a private feel. We worked with Katie who made everything we asked for happen (special German beer, etc). Our guest raved about the location and the food. Really I have no complaints! -

My husband and I were married at L'Auberge on October 1st and it was absolutely fantastic. We had approximately 90 guests and held our ceremony on the Creekside Lawn. The indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, dinner and reception took place in the Creek House and it could not have been more beautiful. We rented the Creek House for two nights and did the rehearsal dinner there the evening before as well.
Just as lovely as the venue was the management and staff at L'Auberge. Our catering manager, Kara Christman, and our event manager, Katie Cowen, walked us though each step of the wedding planning process, patiently answered our hundreds of questions, and helped keep things on track both leading up to and during our wedding weekend. I also have to give a shout out to Kristen who was there to make sure our ceremony ran smoothly and who helped me put on my veil when, 5 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, I realized I had no idea how to put it on. The entire staff at the resort was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and accommodating!
I also HAVE to mention the fact that we brought our rather large bulldog, Darla, with us for the weekend and she was greeted by everyone at L'Auberge. They even brought a bowl, dog bed, and treats to our room. It made the weekend even more relaxing knowing that our pup was close by.
Lastly, the food. Wow. We ate every meal there for three days and didn't have a bad bite! The rehearsal dinner fajita bar was delicious and the wedding appetizers and entrees were far better than any wedding food I've ever had. All of our guests commented on how much they liked the food!
If you're thinking about getting married at L'Auberge, do it! They go above and beyond to make your big day special and it is by far the most beautiful venue in Arizona for a small or large wedding. The only complaint our wedding guests had was that they wished it could have lasted longer!

My husband and I had our wedding at L'Auberge in May 2016 and we could not have picked a more beautiful venue! The service provided by L'Auberge was incredible and the natural landscapes at the hotel including the property itself look like something out of a travel or bridal magazine. The staff was amazing! We had one hiccup with our room but Nick, Joe, Zach and the rest of the L'Auberge team fixed it immediately and made our wedding beautiful! The level of dedication and service provided by each of Krista, Nick, Joe, Zach, Marla and the rest of L'Auberge team is truly outstanding. Joe was our event planner and he worked wonderfully with our day-of-coordinators and other vendors. His attention to detail is impeccable and he worked so hard all weekend to make sure our wedding was as beautiful as we had been hoping and planning for during the months leading up to the wedding. Nick was great and he helped to not only make sure that my husband and I were comfortable but that all of our family and guests were comfortable and being taken care of. My cousin had a bad ankle sprain and was staying at the neighboring hotel. Nick made sure that she was safely transported back and forth and often took her himself. He made her feel comfortable and at ease. This is a level of service that you cannot write into your wedding contract with your venue, rather it is dependent upon the quality of the people at the venue. The quality of people at L'Auberge is amazing! Zach, one of the valet's, schlepped all of our wedding favors, gift bags, suitcases, signs, and assortment of other stuff to our room twice as we had to change rooms! He did this with a smile and level of service that you just don't usually experience. Marla is L'Auberge's pastry chef and designed the most beautiful wedding cake! My husband and I are so grateful for L'Auberge and the wonderful staff, venue and service they provided and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue! -

We purchased the Intimate Wedding Package, which included 7-30 guests, a ceremony location, photography, a 4-course dinner, a champagne toast, and a two-night stay in one of their "spa cottages." I found it odd that this package did not include a location to eat the 4-course dinner (we had to upgrade the package to include a second location). Still, we were thrilled with the value. The accommodations were luxurious. We will be returning for our anniversary. -

L'Auberge is a gorgeous venue in Sedona, AZ. We had our wedding ceremony and reception on the Cottageside Lawn. L'Auberge did a phenomenal job making the day run smoothly. We had Salmon, Pork, and Beef for dinner, and all of our guests were so impressed with the quality of the food! Joe is the event manager at L'Auberge and he did an awesome job making sure everything ran smoothly on the day-of and we had everything we needed throughout our stay at the hotel. Highly recommend this venue! -

l'Auberge's staff made my wedding happen. I had been eyeing l'Auberge as a wedding locale for about a year, but when I found out I was pregnant, I called them the next day. Magically, they were able to book me a date two months out. I still wasn't showing and I had time to invite out-of-state guests and find a dress I was in love with. I purchased a package from l'Auberge that included 20 guests, a cabin, ceremony location, reception location and catering. I also used them to book my a amazing photographer and florist. We were a small, motley group, but once we arrived at l'Auberge, we were treated like royalty (despite the fact we were the smallest party there that weekend -- spending the least amount of money). I can't believe my "dream wedding" ended up being thrown together in two months, but l'Auberge de Sedona really pulled through for me. I have zero regrets about the day, thanks to their super attentive staff and amazing grounds. I love this venue. -

Why L'Auberge and not somewhere else in Sedona? In the beginning, we chose L'Auberge for the following reasons: 1) it could accommodate a wedding of our size (close to 90). The other venue we considered was Enchantment, but I felt Enchantment felt too corporate and lacked intimacy. 2) L'Auberge is closer to town. We had guests with varying levels of physical ability and interest - not everyone could put on their boots and hike. Being close to town provided our guests had easy access to shopping and town culture. 3) we liked the feel of L'Auberge from the pics and reviews. Planning our wedding from a distance meant pics and reviews were what we had to go on. 4) Kara Cristman, the sales woman we worked with at L'Auberge was AWESOME! She was responsive and worked with us to accommodate our budget. 5) Their sister property, Orchards Inn, is right next door, very nice, and totally affordable which gave flexibility to our guests.
Here are things you can't know until you go through it and why you should DEFINITELY go with L'Auberge. 1) The staff is awesome and the process well organized. Kara patiently worked with us as we built our wedding vision and played with the logistics. She provided a list of recommended vendors which simplified the planning process. Kara was gracious, kind and enthusiastic. Once our contract was finalized, she handed the execution of our events to Teagan Tudor. To put it simply, Teagan rocks at what she does and has won awards for her master ability. She is kind, patient and genuine. We loved working with her and our wedding went off without a hitch. We never wanted for anything, questioned anything, worried about anything. It was seamless. 2) L'Auberge is a 5-star establishment. It is nestled peacefully away from the hustle of Sedona with Oak Creek rippling soothingly through the center. Cute pathways meander through the hotel. Wedding ceremony sites are breathtaking. The food is DELICIOUS! 3) You will not have one regret. -

Once we determined that Sedona, AZ was going to be the location of our wedding, we couldn't tear ourselves away from L'Auberge de Sedona due to its beauty and incredible, varied, views where you get the red rocks from once place and the lush trees and creek from others. Their customer service was and always has been stellar. We couldn't have been any happier with how our wedding day unfolded. May thanks to the staff at L'Auberge. -

I can't say enough good things about L'auberge de Sedona & Teagan & Kara! We had our wedding reception here by the creekside on evening of June 8, 2014 and both my husband & I were blown away with the service & accommodations. It was magical & memorable not only for us but for all of our guests! The entire staff went above & beyond and over delivered on everything! Amazing!!!! Would highly recommend having your special event there or just visiting & staying at their beautiful resort! Make sure to try their restaurant, it is top notch with the best view in Sedona right by the creek! Highly recommend!!! -

L'Auberge created my perfect, fairy tale wedding! It truly was the best day of my life. Teagan and Kara, the event coordinators, were both exceptional to work with. I only used vendors from their approved list and everything was just beautiful. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! -

Based on my only other experience early in life planning a wedding, I tried my hardest to convince my wife-to-be that the two of us should just fly to Cabo and get married. Thanks to L'Auberge and it's exceptional staff, I'm glad she didn't budge! After visiting countless resort properties in the Valley ( Phoenix, Scottsdale, etc. ), we thankfully followed the advice of a friend and planned a visit to L'Auberge in Sedona ( 1 1/2 hours north of Phx. ). Twenty minutes into our meeting / walk through with the wedding event coordinator Teagan Tudor, our search had ended. From the drive through town, to the arrival of the most stunning resort setting that I've seen in Arizona ( I was born here, and have seen many ), our decision was solidified by the exemplary professionalism of every staff member we encountered. The only glitch was that their schedule was so full ( I now fully understand why ). Having the ceremony at an alternative venue was no longer an option, so we opted for a Sunday wedding. Our guest list, that we were purposefully trying to keep at a very intimate number of thirty, expanded to sixty as the date approached. Throughout this change and all of the other planning, no one ever "flinched" at L'Auberge. They handled every issue impeccably, and accommodated our every need. During our celebration, and still to this day, we have family and friends ( many from as far away as England and Africa ) often comment that it was the most enjoyable wedding they had ever been to. The only thing that was more breathtaking than the incredible surrounding forest and creek adjacent to our unforgettable ceremony site, was my blushing beautiful bride. Thank you Ryan ( Resort Manager ) and staff, Teagan ( Wedding Event Planner ) and L'Auberge for an unforgettable experience for My wife and I, and our family and friends. -

The amazing team at L'Auberge made my wedding perfect. Marla their wonderful head baker made the most delicious cake. The dinner was to die for according to all of my guests. Kara was so personal and helpful every step of the way. The biggest thanks though goes to Teagan Tudor, this woman went above and beyond for me words can not describe how grateful I am to her. She will do everything in her power to make your special day everything you dreamed of. If the amazing staff doesn't sell you on this venue the accommodations, scenery, and overall ambiance will win you over. I was told by countless guests that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Five stars is not a high enough rating for this incredible venue!!! -

My husband and I had both our rehearsal dinner (50 people) and wedding (100 people) at L'Auberge on October 5th and 6th of 2012. Everything was absolutely perfect - we had our dream wedding at L'Auberge. Our friends and family all stated it was the best wedding they had ever attended. We had our ceremony on the cottage side lawn overlooking the creek, and we had our reception on the flagstone patio outside of the creek house. Our rehearsal dinner was hosted on the deck of the creek house. We had the pleasure of working with both Kara and Stephanie, both of whom are absolutely fantastic! Stephanie took care of anything and everything we had requested - even things that we didn't request were done for us, and it was just a dream come true! The food was so delicious - everyone was so impressed. Our cake was decorated exactly like I had asked and tasted wonderful. Dan and his crew set the reception and ceremony up perfectly. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things that L'Auberge did for us. I would recommend anyone planning a wedding to at least check out L'Auberge, because if you are like us, once you visit it once, you will be hooked!! We can't wait to go back every year on our anniversary.. this place is magical! :) -

We couldn't have asked for more. Robin and Rudy, in particular, did an amazing job of coordinating everything and accomodating all of our needs and wants. L'Auberge on the banks of Oak Creek is absolutely a Fairytale setting. We could not have chosen a better venue. Everything was perfect down to the very last detail. While you can have family or friends set up for you etc; I don't suggest it. Just hire their wedding coordinator for the day. Meghan is worth her weight in gold.
Thanks L'Auberge -

Talk about a fairytale wedding! At L'Auberge they catered to our every need and made not only us, but all of our guests feel so special. They even had a special rug, toy and treats for our new doggie who we had just rescued a few months before. He was able to stay right in our cabin with us! They were kind, responsive and very pleasant. We went back for our 2 year anniversary and again got the royal treatment. They really are a very gracious and people oriented facility. -

Amazing wedding day memories at L'Auberge
We decided on L'Auberge de Sedona as our wedding venue, for a few reasons, we have memories at the creekside, and we were looking for a classy elopement/intimate style wedding venue. Our wedding at L'Auberge went beyond our expectations – not only was Ryan, our onsite coordinator the most attentive and detail-oriented individual ever, the whole service team made us and our guests enjoy the entire stay. They also made us feel safe during the time of the pandemic, with proper social-distancing arranged and mask-wearing throughout the weekend. The Spirit Song Deck provided a gorgeous red-rock backdrop for our ceremony, and the Artists Cottage was perfect for our intimate dinner reception. A special thanks to the pastry chef, who not only created my dream wedding cake (beautiful & DELICIOUS) but also accommodated one guest who was allergic to wheat and made a special lemony dessert for him (thank you!). We enjoyed our wedding weekend at L'Auberge and would not hesitate to recommend any couple who is looking for an intimate wedding to select this venue.-

This venue was absolutely perfect! When my husband and I decided to look for a destination wedding, I stumbled upon Sedona venues and loved the smaller packages L'Auberge provided. We went with the Intimate Wedding with 7 guests; it was semi-inclusive with a floral package (bouquet and boutonniere), cake or dessert, and one hour of photography. And the vendors L'Auberge works with are amazing and the higher end quality for the area. Kirsten worked with us to make our day extraordinary and was very accommodating, especially with our last minute changes. She made it very easy to plan things from afar (we are from NY), and I had no doubts or concerns that everything would turn out great.
We chose the Spirit Song Terrace for the ceremony, it was a beautiful view overlooking the red rocks and felt very intimate. For the reception dinner, we originally planned for the heated Overlook Patio, but the day before we decided to move it to the Artists' Cottage. I was against the cottage when we booked the venue because it felt a little dated, but they had recently renovated and updated everything, so we were pleasantly surprised and happy with the change.
The five course dinner from Cress was amazing, the options were all wonderful, and everyone raved about it. Service was excellent, our lead server Jason and bartender Zachary were friendly and attentive. The meal was well paced and drinks never empty.
This venue is a tad pricey; it is a luxury resort. It was completely worth it. You get what you pay for: extremely attentive waitstaff, valet, a wonderful coordinator, impeccable food, great suites to stay in, and a beautiful site to get married. -

L'Auberge was fantastic and perfect for our wedding. The grounds are stunning and meticulously cared for. The real value is in the service. From the first time we visited the resort we were impressed with the professionalism and warm atmosphere provided by every single person we came in contact with. The wedding coordinator was attentive and extremely helpful. The venue we chose, there are several, was intimate but still very open.
If you have not been to their property, make it your priority to check them out. -

L'Auberge de Sedona is a beautiful destination and venue for a wedding and reception. Everything came together flawlessly aside from one minor issue at the end of the night, which was resolved and the evening continued on as well as it possibly could have. Almsot all of our guests complimented the venue and claimed it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to! It was a great experience and truly the best wedding day I could have ever imagined! -

Beautiful place, excellent service, but be aware that they're doing a lot of renovating right now! Between the time we contracted our wedding and the actual wedding itself, the "hillside site" went from a lovely grassy overlook to a very obtrusive (and frankly, unattractive) metal deck system. The place we had told we could have our dinner at the receptions site suddenly "grew" firepits, and our site had to change a week before the wedding. Overall, we had a really, really wonderful wedding experience at L'Auberge: the lesson is to ask, ask, ask about potential changes so that they don't surprise you when they arise! -

Wonderful, but expensive! We stayed at the resort and had our wedding dinner there after the ceremony. I say "dinner" because it was just us and our maid-of-honor and best man for a quiet dinner by the creek. It was great....the scenery was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. But our bill for four people was over $700 (and we didn't drink a lot!). So be prepared for that! The resort itself was a nice splurge for our wedding and really spoiled us for future trips to Sedona. My only complaint was that they didn't have a pool...but the staff told me that one is currently being built. So problem solved! My overall recommendation for L'Auberge is to go for it if you can afford it! You won't be disappointed. -

Beautiful Sedona
The backdrop of the red rocks of Sedona intertwined with the river that runs through the property is to die for. However, for us the cost of a 50 guest wedding was over our budget. We would have loved to stay under or around 10K but it wasn’t a reality, although I would have loved to have my wedding there. I will say, the property is smaller than I expected. -

They were a truly wonderful vendor to work with. We ended up needing to move our ceremony 2 weeks before the date and L'Auberge came through like bosses for my wife and I. They helped us out a ton, I would say bent over backwards to accommodate us much as they could. The actual resort itself is picturesque gorgeous. I strongly recommend using this venue.
Only thing is that it is going to cost a pretty penny but we all know that you get what you pay for b -

We had our wedding and reception at L'Auberge this past weekend. Our wedding ceremony and reception went flawlessly, and I couldn't have asked for anything better or different for the day. Teagan was wonderful as our wedding coordinator, and was readily available and fantastic throughout the planning of our event.
My only complaint regarding the process at L'Auberge was that there were a few things mentioned prior to us signing the contract that turned out not to be true and/or possible for us- ie, we were told there was only one wedding per day at the venue (there was another HUGE wedding there on the same day as ours), and that we would be able to use an indoor space as a backup for the reception in case of rain (also not true as the other wedding used this space for their reception). So I had to pay 300 dollars to reserve a tent in case of rain for our outdoor reception. There would have been significantly less stress had they just been up front about these things to start with.
The resort and sites at L'Auberge were gorgeous. My only bit of advice to future brides is to be very careful in questioning your contact person at the beginning of the process to ensure they're honest with you regarding what they're able to provide (or not!). -

L'Auberge was the perfect place for our special day, and we had the best set-up and weather. Our wedding day and luncheon were AMAZING! Only two downsides to our entire experience. One, L'Auberge and The Orchards (sister hotel) really messed up our wedding guests room situation and didn't seem like they wanted to fix their mess up. A few of our guests ended up spending more per night than planned because of this and there wasn't enough apoligizing and makeing things right in our opinion. Seemed to us that the Wedding Coordiation team and the Hotel Operations team did not communicate well. Two, we never recieved any left over cake from our beautiful cake that came with our package. Overall, I would do it all again there, and plan to visit again on our anniversary. -

Fairytale Wedding Venue
We found L' Auberge de Sedona online when searching for destination wedding venues and knew immediately that it's where we wanted to plan our intimate celebration.
Given COVID, we knew we'd have to make some adjustments to enhance safety and take the necessary precautions. We booked the Creekhouse, originally because it offered indoor/outdoor space and great ventilation inside with all the doors that opened out to the deck. Little did we know that it would also be the perfect accommodations for our family and wedding party. Being all together was so fun, and made the wedding weekend unforgettable.
Leading up to the wedding, we did experience some communication delays due to staffing issues. Once I was connected with Katie Cowan as my coordinator, it was constant communication and rapid responses. Katie is a true professional and her knowledge of the area and the service options was invaluable. The work she did behind the scenes to pull everything together is something I'll forever be grateful for.
Our ceremony was on the Creekhouse Lawn and dinner on the Creekhouse flagstone deck. We hardly had to do anything to achieve the dreamy elegant garden wedding look. Just a few flowers arrangements, table and chair rentals and it looked like it was out of a magazine.
We did encounter a few hiccups with food service and staffing throughout the reception which we attribute to general challenges presented by COVID, however once Katie, Frank and Kristen were alerted of it, they went above and beyond to resolve our complaints. The team's response to these incidents spoke volumes to us, and with that level of customer service, I feel confident recommending L' Auberge!

This was a gorgeous place for our wedding! Also, everyone was very nice and we enjoyed the spa cottage very much. We had the elopement package and it was exactly what we were looking for. The only downside was that my husband was confused about which entrance I was coming from, and I wasn't told which direction to walk when I got up the ceremony site although my bridesmaids were all directed where to go. That didn't ruin our day at all though, and my husband got a kick out of my quick direction change once I realized where I was supposed to go. Other than that, everything was absolutely wonderful and I hope we are able to go there for our anniversary! -

We were married on September 8th, and had the most wonderful ceremony & reception at L'Auberge de Sedona! The ceremony was on the Spirit Song Terrace with a beautiful scenic view at sunset. We had a family only ceremony of about 39 people. The staff was so attentive and really took care of us. My family rented the Creekside House and we set up the dinner outside on the cobblestone near the creek. Although we went through two event coordinators during our planning, only a few details were left out. We requested a special cottage on the creek for our wedding night; it must have been lost in translation and we ended up not getting the cottage we had originally wanted. Be prepared to pay pay pay! Trying to bargain with the resort about paying over forty dollars for a children's meal (a grilled cheese) was a tad over the edge I would say. The only other issue was the wedding cake we ordered through the resort. Although very tasty, we were super disappointed with its size. It was so small! The slices were the thinnest, saddest little pieces I have ever been served. Not to mention that INCLUDED serving our top layer to the guests! I wish we had a better understanding of what it was going to look like. Otherwise, we had an awesome experience! The event planner Stephanie was on it! She kept us on schedule and added any last minute absurd requests we needed. The food was excellent. The staff made us feel so important all night. We returned to our room and had rose petals everywhere and champagne provided by the resort! That was a lovely surprise after a stressful night. If you are willing to pay, they will deliver! Wonderful time and beautiful location! -

L' Auberge de Sedona was an enchanting place to tie the knot! If you're looking to have a wedding on the smaller side (we had 70) and appreciate intimate venues surrounded by natural beauty, this place is for you. My husband and I are not from the area but chose Sedona for a destination wedding as it is a special place for us to vacation. I loved having all of our friends and family with us in a place, and a hotel, that meant a lot to us. And the scenery cannot be beat!
We had a lot of requests and questions for the venue and Katie Cowan was helpful every step of the way. A list of suggested vendors was provided to us, which was helpful, especially as we were planning long distance. The majority of the vendors we chose were on the list and work with the venue consistently, which also helped with planning.
Our ceremony was at Spirit Song, and guests were able to walk up to the area (many steps!) or ride on golf carts. We served champagne for guests to enjoy during the ceremony and then everyone joined my husband and I on the platform afterwards for a group photo. Keep in mind that it can get windy up there, so ensure that if you have flower arrangements set up on pedestals, that they are secure. Wind blew down one of our big ones. Golf carts brought everyone down to the Creek house afterwards. Cocktail hour took place on the porch, dinner was by the creek and dancing was inside the house. We loved the "house party" feel of having the reception in the cottage--cozy with a touch of luxe.
We opted to bring in rental furniture because what they provide didn't look very premium. We used the white fold out chairs that they provide for the ceremony, but rented wooden chairs for the dinner. When you're paying that much money for a nice dinner, why would you use white fold out plastic chairs? The price per guest for dinner is $$$$, but the food is actually really good (unlike most weddings where they produce hundreds of entrees that taste bland).
We highly recommend!!!-

There is no wedding venue in Sedona that can compete with the beauty of L'Auberge. We were stunned the first time we saw the Spirit Song Terrace and I am so glad we were able to get married to that backdrop. The food is also really good, not something you always get with wedding food. They were also very responsive and easy to work with leading up to the wedding.
There were some disappointments on the actual day though. It seemed a bit disorganized. They didn't seem ready for us at cocktail hour and there wasn't much food. Dinner service took an hour and a half despite our pre-arranged schedule. Luckily our photographer and DJ were very familiar with the location and were excellent at keeping things moving. They also left our gifts and cards outside unattended all night, even though the contract states they were to be brought to our room.
Overall I would definitely recommend L'Auberge. Everyone had a great time and it was gorgeous. These issues were disappointing because you are paying top dollar, so your expectations are pretty high. I would just be sure to nail down EVERYTHING ahead of time, especially right before the day. -

Beautiful, but not worth it
L'Auberge is a breathtaking venue. It is a secluded area surrounded by red rocks, tall trees, and a beautiful creek. The service staff specifically is also outstanding, the service staff and our photographer are the only reasons our wedding went as smooth as it did. However, the event staff was horrible to work with the entire year and a half of wedding planning. There were numerous unacceptable issues that happened (much less for a FIVE STAR resort) that they did nothing to correct. To name a few..
-There was communication from the events team - I know Covid was unpredicted times, but the resort did not keep their brides updated. In July of 2020 (the wedding was scheduled for September) I asked if we could keep the reception outside and was told that I could only have 50 people present for the wedding. This caused us to reschedule, but would they even have told me that if I didn't ask a separate question first?
-Our food tasting was double booked (even though I confirmed the date/time 3 times) - I reached out 2 days before to re-confirm again and was told there was a conflict. Had I not emailed that day, my now husband and I would have shown up expecting our tasting. We also arranged accommodations to be in Sedona which couldn’t be cancelled at that point. On top of all that, our event was of so little concern, we were told there was another obligation the property had to meet.
-Very long response times (sometimes 10+ days) which is very worrisome when planning a wedding. -I was reached out to on my honeymoon saying we still owed over $10,000. Once I got home, I sent an excel spreadsheet of our payments since their invoice didn't show line items only had a total of what we owed. It turns out that was also done incorrectly by the events staff and we only owed about $1,200 for the on-consumption bar.
-Our required lodging rooms were not ready on time and there was somehow a giant mixup of "double bookings", which was also done incorrectly by the events staff. A few of our guests showed up and were still not let into their rooms at 4:45 (which as 15 min before the rehearsal started) so they ended up having to get ready in my cabin in 15 minutes.
As mentioned above, the atmosphere and service staff are phenomenal but if I had to do it all over again the stress caused by the event staff wouldn't be worth it. I was very disappointed that we paid so much money for one of the most important days of my life to a place that doesn't have their act together -

My husband and I selected L’Auberge for our Sedona destination wedding because of its prime location on Oak Creek and the beautiful settings of the various ceremony and reception options the resort provides. While we were reviewing everything with our coordinator, we were told that the resort would be undergoing some renovations/updates during the spring/summer but since our wedding was in the fall, everything was expected to be completed prior to our wedding date. It wasn’t. For our wedding weekend, both the lobby and the hotel restaurant were still being renovated so upon arrival at the resort, we, along with our guests, were greeted with a construction zone instead of the beautiful resort we thought we’d be getting. Not only that, but our reception location was being used as a holding area for various construction supplies and was completely torn apart. You can imagine my shock when I viewed the reception location with no warning ahead of time that the area was not only not ready, but that we’d have to make alternate arrangements at the last minute somewhere else on the property that would accommodate the size of our wedding party, in competition with the other weddings also taking place at the resort that weekend. While everyone knows that renovations take longer than expected, it was absolutely unforgivable that we were not told in advance that the renovations were not complete and that we would need to move the reception. To wait until AFTER the bride and groom check in to the resort to address the various logistical problems is unprofessional in the extreme. I simply can not believe that L’Auberge chose to handle our wedding with this cavalier attitude. L’Auberge’s reputation is that they are a world class resort providing top notch service so it is shocking to have them deliberately choose to not tell us BEFORE the wedding that we would have to move our reception location. -
